can any one can explain why ITCSY STRUCTURE IS USED PLS explain step by step.which i mean say which i should understand easily with ur answer,becaz i dont know any more?

I supose you are using SAPSCRIPT and wanting to use a perform statement on in. Am I right?
ITCSY is a structure that you must use to receive/send parameters from SAPCRIPT to a REPORT where the form statement will be implemented.
As an example,
In sapscript, you have PERFORM get_address ... program ZGETADDRESS.
So, you must have a report called ZGETADDRESS with a code similar to this.
REPORT ZGETADDRESS .
FORM get_address TABLES in_par STRUCTURE itcsy
out_par STRUCTURE itcsy.
READ TABLE in_par WITH KEY name = 'COUNTRY'.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
READ TABLE out_par WITH KEY name = 'TEXT'.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
out_par-value = 'England'.
MODIFY out_par INDEX sy-tabix.
ENDFORM.

Using ITCSy structure , when i try to add fields its not picking up the data .
please can any body help in this ..

Please try like this....
Loop at input where NAME = 'BSIK-BELNR'. " since you have used 'bsik-belnr' in the using clause in the script.
Endloop.
Also in the changing clause since you have used 'v_y' you should use the same in NAME of output...
OUTPUT-NAME = 'v_y'
try like this you should be able to get.

itcsy is a structure.
when u want to fetch additional data to pritn in u r layout with out changing the standard driver program
then we have to use this structure through suroutine pool program.
syntax is
FORM<FORM>TABLES IN_TAB STRUCTURE ITCSY
OUT-TAB STRUCTURE ITCSY.
ENDFORM.
HERE IN_TAB IS INTERNAL TABLE
and one more example is
The structure ITCSY contains field name and field value.
The system does not execute the PERFORM command within
SAPscript replace modules, such as TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE or TEXT_INCLUDE_REPLACE.
The replace modules can only replace symbol values or
resolve include texts, but not interpret SAPscript control commands.
Syntax in a form window:

Error while accessing a library using content and structure

I have a library having document and folder inside it. When I open the library using content and structure I get an error with a correlation ID. When checked the the logs with Correlation ID got an error message "View 'All Document' does not exist."
'All Document' is name of default view on the library.
When I open the library from view all site content the library is being opened.
Please help!!!

I tried with different users but no luck
Make sure that the user account with issue has permission to view the All Documents view of the library. --
Yes, user Account have the permission
Check if the issue occurs with other libraries in the Content and Structure. If not, I recommend to save the library as
a template including contents and then create a new library based on this template. After that use the new library instead of the old library. --
No other library have this problem. I cannot save the library as template including the contents as the it has many folders and files. The current size of library is 786 MB
Clear cache in the browser or use another browser to see if the issue still occurs. --

Sharepoint 2013 copy/move operation using Content and Structure fails

Hi,
We had a recent upgrade from SP2010 to SP2013 environment. After the migration, we realized that the
copy/move operations using Manage content and structure(sitemanager.aspx) is not working as expected, neither does this give any error nor is it stuck. In fact if I check the content and structure log I find the message as
succeeded but file/item is not copied to the target.
The strange thing is that if I am performing this operation with Full Control permission level it
does not work but if I do the operation as Site collection admin it works without problem. I know if sub-sites are to moved then one should be site col admin but in this case I am trying to move just documents or pages.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

According to your description, my understanding is that copy/move operation using Content and Structure cannot work in SharePoint.
I recommend to check if there are any custom fields in the source list/library and target list/library. If yes, delete the custom fields to see if the issue still occurs.

To copy or move files/items between sites, we need to have
appropriate permissions on both sites.
I recommend to check if the user has full control on both sites.

Can I automate the creation of a cluster in LabView using the data structure created in an auto generated .CSV, C header, or XML file? I'm trying to take the data structure defined in one or more of those files listed and have LabView automatically create a cluster with identical structure and data types. (Ideally, I would like to do this with a C header file only.) Basically, I'm trying to avoid having to create the cluster by hand, as the number of cluster elements could be very large. I've looked into EasyXML and contacted the rep for the add-on. Unfortunately, this capability has not been created yet. Has anyone done something like this before? Thanks in advance for the help.

Wow! Thanks for the quick response! We would use this cluster as a fixed data structure. No need to change the structure during runtime. The cluster would be a cluster of clusters with multiple levels. There would be not pattern as to how deep these levels would go, or how many elements would be in each. Here is the application. I would like to be able to autocode a Simulink model file into a DLL. The model DLL would accept a Simulink bus object of a certain data structure (bus of buses), pick out which elements of the bus is needed for the model calculation, and then pass the bus object. I then will take the DLL file and use the DLL VI block to pass a cluster into the DLL block (with identical structure as the bus in Simulink). To save time, I would like to auto generate the C header file using Simulink to define the bus structure and then have LabView read that header file and create the cluster automatically. Right now I can do everything but the auto creation of the cluster. I can manually build the cluster to match the Simulink model bus structure and it runs fine. But this is only for an example model with a small structure. Need to make the cluster creation automated so it can handle large structures with minimal brute force. Thanks!

Use Selection of Structure Members in RSRT

Hi Gurus,
I am unable to tick "Use Selection of Structure Members” in transaction RSRT for a query. This query has 2 structures for the cell definition used in the query.
This selection is totally not visible in the RSRT - query - properties.
This I need to get the structure elements/cell definition RKFs made available in teh web intelligence.

The "Use Selection of Structure Elements" Option in RSRT Query Properties

Hi, does anyone know the side effect of enabling this option for all BEx Queries? The help states the following: "The Use Selection of Structure Elements option can be selected for any query; however, it is only useful in some cases. In queries, selections are frequently based on one or more characteristics in the columns, or more precisely, in the structure elements. One or more of these structure elements are often filtered in the BEx Analyzer or in BEx Web applications. If you do not select the Use Selection of Structure Elements option, these dynamic (structure element) selections are not transferred to the database. Normally, the data for the entire structure or for both structures is then read from the database." It sounds to me that there is no harm in checking this flag all the time, but what is confusing is the default state of this option; i.e. unchecked.
I would appreciate if someone can clarify the downside of checking this flag.

Checking this simple property helps improve performance in situations where there are many Restricted Key Figures and other calculations in the Query Definition
If analysis of the query performance indicates very high EVENTID 3200 times, and/or the FEMS number is very high try enabling this property and check performance.
Checking this ensures the structure elements are sent to the database for processing.

I attached my Vi from my old project (MY OLD VI). It is worked correctly.
But I decided that use event structure instead of case structure.
I attached my new VI as a picture and as a LabVIEW VI too (network_analyzer_8510_920527 Frequency Sweep.vi )
My graphs show by pressing "case 5: button (Bottom of page right hand).
Then I want to show each of graph in a large window( in a new VI) by clicking a key (for example "show 1").

Using 'variables.instance' structure and implicit getters/setters

I am adopting the use of creating a variables.instance (I use 'variables.my') structure to separate instance data from the object, however I have a question when it comes to ColdFusion creating implicit getters and setters based on that object's defined properties.
BEFORE, if I had a Name property, CF would create getName() and setName() for me, and it would update the variables.Name private variable accordingly in each. But now that my variables are being stored in 'variables.my.Name', does this mean I can no longer use ColdFusion's implicit getters and setters? (because it would improperly be attempting to execute getName and be looking for variables.Name, when that data now exists in variables.my.Name?
Are there any methodologies around that allow me to utilize CF's implicit getters/setters while using this 'my' instance variable and have them work with one another?

How cool, then, would it be if ColdFusion 11 supported something like:

That way I could specify "my." as the property prefix and when it goes to create those implicit getters and settings, it will concatenate that into 'variables.my.' as the prefix when it alters property values or returns them.

Coverage Strategy use multiple Category Structures

Hi AFS Expert,
In the same Coverage Strategy, does it allow to use multiple Category Structures to do the transfer from requirement category to stock category?
E.g Category Structure: AA, BB
"Category Structure AA --> Coverage Strategy CS1 --> Requirement category" transfer to "Category Structure BB --> Coverage Strategy CS1 --> Stock category"
Is it possible to do?

Hello Mag,
The coverage strategy is configured for a single category structure and it maps the category values of that category structure. We can define the sequence in which the stock categories map the requirement categories. We will not be able to map the requirement category to stock category across category structures.

How to use a event structure in a subVI

I am trying to use an event structure inside a subVI. The subVI has an array builder that builds arrays, and the event structure is used so that when the program is running, it allows you to change the elements of the array. It works, but when I implement it inside a subVI, it does not work properly. This is going into a subVI, because it will be a part of a much larger progrram, so it needs to be modular.

If you're using an event structure, it's not a subVI. if you're worried about modularity, you shouldn't be using the event structure.
You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of modularity. An event structure should be placed within a while loop. If you have a while loop within a subVI, you've handed over control of your program to the subVI. You're not modular at this point. Your top level GUI has no control. You'd have to create some asinine system of variables to pass data down to that loop to stop the loop and return to your main VI. That's not a good design decision.
Instead of looking for a way to do something broken, you should spend effort trying to understand what you actually want to accomplish. You should also spend some time learning how event structures work.
This application is small right now and it's already on the path to unreadable. That's a terrible thing to do to yourself. Break these habits now. se variables only when absolutely necessary. Use subVIs to accomplish individual tasks, not run the entire application. With event structures, use a stop button value change event to not be held hostage by the timeout. If your variable has "2" in it, you're doing something wrong. There has to be something different between the setpoints, put that in the name. If you want to make subVIs, create an icon.
But first and foremost, invest time in understanding dataflow

I have some problem with MDXTEST on BW 3.5 which i select multiprovider to generate MDX Staement but it goes to ABAP Debugger "CX_RSR_PROG_ERROR" and message BRAIN 416 information said "InfoObject 1KYFNM is used in both structures of the query".
