Use of NACE after creating print program n smart form

Wat's d purpose of NACE?I hav created my own print program n smart form according to my own requirement.If NACE is necessary 4 my smart from.How can i use NACE i mean navigation steps.
Please help me out.Its urgent.

Hi Santhosh,
Nace is for message control settings. Say if u want to trigger a Smartform or an Idoc or any other customized program u can do the message control settings.
Say at the time of Sales Order creation or updation u want to trigger a Smartform, then u have to follow the following steps:
Goto NACE
Select application V1 and then click Output Type.
create a new Output type or copy the existing one abd save it with new name
then in Processing Routine Mention the driver program name and in Form routine mention the main subroutine name.
In Smartform mention your SMartform name and also the layout if u have ceated.
Again go to NACE and Select application V1 and press Procedures.
here out of the many procedures u have to select the right one and attach your Output Type to it.
You can also create a condition record..Say if u want to trigger this Smartforms for Sales Order of particular type.

For each document number selected there will be one to many records in VBRP. For each invoice item in VBRP:
u2022     Select BSTKD from VBKD where
o     VBELN = VBRP-VGBEL and
o     POSNR = VBRP-VGPOS
u2022     If no hits then select BSTKD from VBKD where
o     VBELN = VBRP-VGBEL
If there is more than one PO per invoice then list them in the Customer PO field without repeating the other fields.PO shouldnu2019t come more than once per invoice.
             Debit Amt         if BSEG-SHKZG = S then WRBTR ELSE 0
             Credit Amt        if BSEG-SHKZG = H then WRBTR ELSE 0
             Total                  Debit Amt u2013 Credit Amt
              Totals                Subtotals

The custom form is getting displayed properly. But the requirement is to have it as an editable PDF. So the functional team is working on configuring the settings of PDF forms with customers email address.
But for right now, i customized the standard form F140_ACC_STAT_01 and standard print program RFKORD10_PDF and did the configuration. It is getting displayed (I tested only with the transaction FBL5N - customer open line items..)
Please let me know any further details on this.

Standard print program for Adobe Forms

Hi all -
Does anyone know if there was a standard print program delivered for the predelivered Adobe form F110_AVIS_INT? And if there is - what is it? Is there any document anywhere to determine predelivered print programs for Adobe forms?

BADI within print program of a form

Hi All!
Technically is it possible to call a BADI within a print program of a form.
I do have a requirement where I have to retrieve a field which is not available through normal mapping and there exists a BADI through which i can retrieve the value of the field ,now i am not sure whether i can call this BADI from a print program.
Infact i am new to BADI's.Please advise

The core process is pretty much similar to the User exit ie when you implement a BAdI, you are only inserting the code that gets triggered. The actual trigger ie the call to the BAdI must already be available in the print program.

hi - Please check with FM SAPSCRIPT_SELECT_PROGRAM. Just execute and give ur form name, it will display teh print program.

We can create bullets in smartforms.
For this change the editor to text editor and then
goto insert->characters->SAP Symbols and select the
symbol you want.
This may help your requirement.
You cannot see the bullets in print preview, it'll
appear only on a hard copy.

How to Upload graphics (IMAGE) to your Sapscript?
Command in your Sapscript
/: INCLUDE Z_YOUR_LOGO OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE E
These are the steps to be followed for uploading graphics in R/3 system
1.   First save the file as BMP
2.   Open the BMP file in IMaging (Goto -> Programs -> Accessories -> Imaging) and
      make it Zoom as 100% and save as *.TIFF
3.   Open SE38 and execute program RSTXLDMC
4.   Give your TIFF file path name
5.   Select Bcol (for Color)
6.   TEXT ID will be ZHEX-MACRO-*.
7.   Inplace of * write your own logo name (ZCOMPANYLOGO)
8.   Execute the program
9.   Now Goto SE71 create your ZFORM
10. Create logo window
11. Goto text element of logo window
or
In 4.6x :-
1. Goto SE71 Change the mode to GRAPHICAL
2. Choose the Graph Tabstrips
3. Now type in some name for the LOGO WINDOW
4. Press the IMPORT BUTTON (third button from left) and then IMPORT the BMP file from your DESKTOP
5. The code will be written automatically. You just need to drag and drop wherever you want
     the graphics to be.

Thanks for your reply but there I can pass maximum four character printer name but my case printer name contains 12 characters. If I pass 12 characters printer name it is considering first four characters and it is displaying printer name is not found. So please tell me how to pass more than four characters printer name.

Using DreamWeaver CS4 to create a program?!?!

Hopefully someone here can help me out. I was told I could use DreamWeaver to create a program or assemble a program from a .xml file and some resource files. The .xml file looks like instructions that thell the resource files what to do to create a program or a program-like web application. But I have no idea how to use dreamweaver in this mannar. Does anyone have any idea why someone would send me a .xml file and 3 reasource files and say DreamWeaver can put them togther somehow to create a program? Thank you for your time...

How to use NAST entry inside a printing program.

I am writing a program to print an invoice using smartform.
I am refering NAST-OBJKY to get the invoice No.
My program throwing syntax error that NAST-OBJKY is unknown.
But if I copy a standard printing program, and use it different name, there is no error.

u r using the correct on but first movethe value to another varable like
VBRK-VBELN
USE THIS INCLUDE IN U R PROGRAM RVADTABL
SAM the reason for u r problem is NAST is not declared in u r program... but in the sandard program they have declared it in the include RVADTABL

Using Continuos Printing stationary with smart forms is that possible ?

Hi All,
there is an instance where we have to use continuo's stationary for printing Payment Advices for the vendors with bankers cheque attached to the payment advise is that possible in smartforms also i have know that is possible in scripts but the requirement is in smartforms and can we do that in Smartforms.
If any one have seen the same instance earlier, take your time to guide me the process.

With smart forms i have dropped the idea as it is not that flexible as script..
if am not wrong~
I have resolved it and have done the needful for printing the cheques and Payment Advices... in scripts with any kind of printer.. using Scripts.
Any one dealing with FI ABAP having any kind of issues with the Payments advices and cheques can always ping me for any doubts...
payment advices ,
cheque printing,
vendor aging,
customer aging,
brs upload program,
Service tax reports,
TDS reports,
vendor master upload,
customer master upload,
gl balance upload,
NCR Report,
and some co Reports..
these are some of the things where i have masterd for now..

Print Program for Adobe Form QM_8D_Report

I want to use the given Adobe form "QM_8D_REPORT" but I can not find a basic print program in SE38 for it.
Do I need to write the whole print programm from beginning or is there a default print programm delivered by SAP which I can use?

Hi,
Go to the package of the form, its QM_PDF.
Check the reports there. There is only one report RQPRPP10_PDF. I hope its the report you are looking for.
The include program where the form is being called is RQPRPP10F01_PDF.

What is the print program for adobe form MEDRUCK_PO, How would I know that?

I am new to ADOBE forms and I have a requirement to develop a new Purchase Order Adobe Form . I need to confidure output types too. I am copying 'NEU' to 'ZNEU', and form name 'MEDRUCK_PO' to 'ZMEDRUCK_PO', but what would be the program name and form routine? How would I know the program name and form routine for new output type/form combination.

I am working on exactly same thing - customizing pdf form MEDRUCK_PO.
I copied MEDRUCK_PO to Z_MEDRUCK_PO and put my changes into the form.
You will use transaction SPRO to display the current routine and form and put your changes into effect.
SPRO-> click tab SAP Reference Image->Material Management->Purchasing->Messages->Forms(Layout Sets) for Messages->Assign Form and Output program for Purchase Order.
In the Form column change the form name to yours - Z_MEDRUCK_PO for example. You can also change the routine name if you want.
Take a look at SAPFM06P, specifically at includes FM06PE03 and FM06PE04.
You will find routines adobe_entry_neu, adobe_entry_mahn and adobe_entry_aufb in FM06PE03. They call routine adobe_print_output located in FM06PE04.
