Use of OCO and OCDL for Customer Account and Party Merge

Requirement: Duplicate parties, previously identified by legacy, are being sent as messages which are polled in and processed upon by custom code.
Once these duplicate parties are identified by Legacy, the requirement is to merge them both and then go on merging the accounts within the master party (only).
We have considered using DQM capabilities for this. Off-Late a suggestion of using ORACLE customers Online and ORACLE Customers Data Librarian if applicable has come up. After reading the respective documentation we’ve found that both of the modules needs to be configured to use the DQM capability and are licensed products(Xerox owns the licenses for both).
Can anyone please throw light on the overall functionality and business scenarios for the use of OCDL.

There are some setup you need to do. If you're not technically well grounded, i would suggest you get an ABAPer to do this for you. Basically, the following are what you need to do:
1. Create the Partner Profile for your Customer using transaction code WE20. Click on the create icon and enter Partner type KU (Customer) and enter the Customer Number.
2. Next, add an Outbound Message Type FINSTA by clicking on the green + icon under the outbound parameters. Complete all the other mandatory fields as appropriate. Save your Entries.
3. Test your outbound partner profile for your customer by running the customer statement again using transaction code F.27.
Your output control would have been created with the medium EDI.
4. Use transaction code WE05 to display the iDocs that would have been created.
Note: You still have to set up the communication between your system and that of your Customer to allow for EDI transmission.

Out of curiosity, do you have 2 step verification enabled? It was recently extended to include iMessage & FaceTime & I'm wondering if it might be causing some of the issues that some users are experiencing.

BAPI Object Reference for Customer Accounts and Open Items

I am building an application for a client for Purchase Card Processing using Visual Studio 2005. I am able to use VS 2003 to create the necessary object to get the Customer List, Customer Details, and the list of Customer Open Items.
I am totally new to SAP, and need some help to figure out my next steps.
1. What call(s) will return an Open Item (Document) given the Document Number, along with the individual line items. With that info I can post a Level 3 transaction and get an authorization code.
2. What is the process to post the purchase card authorization, essentially a payment, back to SAP for the open item.
3. What is the best source for reference details on BAPI?

transaction 'bapi' in a SAP system, or se37 and a search with keywords like 'docnum' or 'openitem' or similar variations might yield some results
also when you connect to a SAP system using vs2003, you will get a hierarchial view in the server explorer, that is also a simple way of finding bapi's that could be useful to your cause

Sorry I cannot follow why you would even use the PC to control the Time Capsule. Apple have not kept the Windows version of the utility up to date.. so they keep making it harder and harder to run windows with apple routers.

Time Machine does not do individual accounts. It records the complete drive. So if you were to use her TM backup on your Mac it would make your Mac just like hers. Both yours and her account on your MAC.
Just copy the missing files over from her Mac to yours. If there are differennt programs on each then they would need to be installed on both.

Yes, start with deleting your account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)
In the next step, create a new account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)

I can't remember the password I used to set up icloud nor the email I used to set it up with. I have my apple ID and email for that account.

Thank you very much for your answer! I have 2 Apple ID, and I have tried both of them and the problem continues. I founf several peolpe with the same problem in apple communities foruns and that really seems that there is some problem. I addded the links for 2 of those discussions.

Update Locations for Customer accounts

I am trying to use TCA update_location API to update location information for customer accounts. I know that the tables involved here are the following:
HZ_PARTIES
HZ_LOCATIONS
HZ_PARTY_SITES
HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS
I'm trying to find a way where I can get a list of location records from HZ_LOCATIONS that will apply only to customer accounts in HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS. Here is the query I've come up with. I'm not sure if this will do the trick so I'm hoping someone can confirm for me.
Again, I'm trying to update location information for records that only have an associated customer account...

If they don't then you can eliminate the cust account tables as a party can have address and location without having account.

Can I create a user for myself and one for my wife and we each have our own apple ID's, Itunes etc, but share the same data on the hard drives? So when she logs in, and sync's her ipads, they will sync with her stuff and when I do the same under my user account, on the same device, my ipads will sync with my stuff?

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

If the content was not originally purchased/synced to the device from your computer it will erase and replace the content from the device with that of the computer. If you have content that you want to backup you can transfer purchases http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848 check this link out
