Use of Position property breaks code ONLY in combination with DAQmxBase VIs

In my application for an PDA (Windows mobile 5.0) I set some Double-Indicator-Controls visible and arrange them on the screen depending on the state of some checkboxes.
That works fine. But when I place one of the DAQmxBase VIs in my block diagramm, the application crashes when the programm tries to use a Position property of an indicator.
The DAQmxBase VI is never called it is only inside the block diagramm!

It is by design that groups are collapsed when entering or leaving inline edit mode on a custom list that uses group by, inline editing, and has groups collapsed by default.
There is no hotfix currently,
our product group is aware of the issue and they are currently investigating the issue.
The current workarounds for this issue are 1) to have groups expanded by default, or 2) to re-expand the
group each time the inline
editing mode is changed.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Using LV Class Property Nodes in In-place Element structure causes the code to halt

I have some code written in LV RT 2010 that uses property nodes from a LVOOP class that I created. I am using access the property node from inside an in-place element structure. When the code reaches the property node, LabVIEW stops running. (as if the abort button was pressed). I verified this behaviour using highlight execution. When I remove the in-place structure code runs fine.
Is this is know bug in LabVIEW? Is there a CAR to resolve this created for a future release?

I tried to reproduce the behavior you're seeing by recreating the Trigger and Trigger List classes, but I have not been able to reproduce it. Please take a look at my version of the project in the attached zip file. Take a look at Test.vi, and feel free to modify and repost it to show me how to make the problem occur. I would like to file a CAR to make sure we get the problem fixed, but I will need to be able to reliably reproduce it first.
On a similar note, you can get much better performance out of the Process Triggers VI by preallocating the list array, instead of using build array in a loop. Take a look at Process Triggers2.vi in my project. You can run Benchmark.vi to see the performance difference between the two different approaches.

How to automate EPS to PDF using code (only Print not save as option)

Dear All,
How to make eps image to PDF using code (either Script / .net code). only using Print Pdf (Ctrl+P) option not using save as option.
Using Saveas option it is possible to convert EPS image to PDF but it is not properly alligned like Print PDF option.

Probably someone else has more insight, but I think with JavaScript at least the printing-options are not fully accessible.
Anyway, in case the eps-files do contain vector-data You would probably be better off creating the pdfs from Indesign, Illustrator or with Acrobat (or Acrobat Distiller).

OracleCommand.Transaction property is read only

Using GDB to debug a code compiled with Sun cc

When using gdb to debug C code compiled with Sun's cc, the step-into doesn't work, i can only "step into" a function if i put a breakpoint on it. Also, sometimes if i set a breakpoint on a function name, like "break foo", gdb indeed breaks when foo is reached, but without showing the source code (this i could not reproduce with a small demo program).
I am using Sun Studio 12 on a SunOS 5.10 sun4u sparc machine.
My demo program is:

When running the program with gdb, the "step" command does not step into func1, but runs it like "next".
I know there's the dbx debugger, but if there's a way to fix this with gdb - it is much preferable for us. Switching to dbx is not really feasible for us.

Changing Position property of Binding Source does not take effect

I have a BindingSource, let's call it myBindingSource, whose DataSource is a List(Of myClass). There are several lines in the existing code that set the Position property of the BindingSource object and the set is effective, e.g. if
the Position value is 0 and I do this...
myBindingSource.Position = 1
...I can check the value of myBindingSource.Position and it is 1. However other times (and it may only be when the current value is -1) when I do such a set, nothing happens. The Position value remains at the previous value, e.g. after the above
line, SpecimenNavSource.Position is still -1. I have verified that at that point, the SpecimenNavSource.Count is greater than the value I'm setting, so it's not that it can't find something in that position.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, I peeked at BindingSource.cs, source code for BindingSource and there is nothing there to allow moving below position 0.

How to use/read a property in a WSDL file?

Does anybody know how to use a property (e.g. myapp.host.name) in a WSDL file to dynamically switch between a certain host through the use of a property file?
My property file would look like this:
myapp.host.name=<some-ip-address-or-dns>
myapp.host.port=1234
I would save this property file as myapp.properties.
In a WSDL file that I receive from a 3rd-party I want to remove the hardcoded hostname and replace it with my property. For instance, something like this:

should be replaced by this:

I want my web service read some database related values from properties file only when the web service is deployed. Currently the java application read the database related values in a static block. I have made this java application to a web service. I am new to java and thought of there may be something like ServletContextListener where I can read properties file. This allows me to read properties file only when the web application is deployed.

First group heading below displays below column headings using Template 23 Classic Report using Repeat Headings on Break

I am migrating an application from APEX 3 to APEX 4.2 on one thing I notice with the classic reports when I bring them into Template 23 is that the first break section has the break row display below the column headers for that section while the remaining rows correctly have it display above the headers on subsequent group sections.
When I look a the code in firebug I can seen that the all tables but the first, the break row is being included as the last row of the previous table so I can see how this would not work for the break since.
I have tow questions.
1. Is this really intentional because it doesn't seem terribly elegant and my users zeroed in on it right away as a perceived bug.
2. Is there a reasonable work around that still uses Repeat Headings on Break? I have multiple reports on the same page in places so changing over to interactive reports is not a silver bullet for me in this case.

The repeated headings result in the table consisting of tag soup containing multiple incorrectly constructed tbody and thead elements, which is invalid.
2. Is there a reasonable work around that still uses Repeat Headings on Break? I have multiple reports on the same page in places so changing over to interactive reports is not a silver bullet for me in this case.
Create a copy of the Standard report template as Standard (break formatting) for use with break reports, remove the thead and tbody tags from the template definitions, and change the break reports to use the new template. (Or, if you primarily have break reports using the Standard template, keep the tags in the copy and remove them from the original to minimize the number of reports you have to edit.)
Personally I'd create a custom row report template for complex break reports in order to be able to have complete control over the structure and presentation.

How do i add a Scroll Bar to a JList Component using absolute positioning?

I've got a applet whose content pane is set to null. I've create a jlist component on this applet and using absolute positioning set the bounds at
ListBox1.setBounds(380,10, 500, 500);.
My problem is creating add a scroll bar to the list box.
JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane(ListBox1);
C.add(scrollPane);
The above code is what i use and when i run this applet i don't see the list box at all. How do i add a scrollbar to this list box or JList component. Please help.

You need to setBounds() on the JScrollPane, not the JList.
The JScrollPane is the component that is being added to the panel.

Apparently someone else had the number before because I get texts from his family members wondering whats going on. I got one yesterday and the person didn't seem to thrilled that the number was cutoff and today I got 2 texts about iCloud Keychain which I don't even know what it is. Seems suspicious to me. If the person who use to own the number is doing it he should know it is not his number anymore because he obviously didn't pay his bills. I'm not too sure about iCloud Keychain so just want to know my info safe?? It says it can store credit card numbers which is what gets me worried. Frankly I think it's pretty stupid to save that kind if information with any kind of app. But I don't want some random person trying to access my personal information because they are bitter they lost their number. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can change passwords or anything that is needed.

I am having a display only item -- :P2_FROM_Date . If its Thu,Fri,Sat or Sun I want to set the date as the last Monday's date . If its Mon,Tue or Wed then it should be the present Monday's date .
E.g: Today is Friday and the last Monday was on 18th .
So for yesterday , today,tomorrow and Sunday , the date should be displayed as 18-JUN-2012.
From the coming Monday to Wednesday , the date should of be the coming Monday i.e , 24-JUN-2012
I tried it doing under 'Source ' of item using PL/SQL expression and PL/SQL function body. Not working
Can someone help ?
