Hello Friends,
Can anybody explain me what is the use of the function SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE" in the ABAP programs.
I know this is related to external commands.

One way that we use SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE is to call UNIX Scripts. Here is an example scenario.
We retrieve files from outside service providers. The files are normally encrypted. Our programs first call a UNIX FTP Script, and then call a second UNIX Decryption scrity.
To use SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE you first have to create a logical command in SM69. Here you create a command name and in our case we link it to a UNIX Script.
Then you use your logical command to call the function module.

How to use all the functions on my Bootcamp/windows 7 side?

Soooo I have an apple desktop running osx 10.4.8 i think, and recently my keyboard got coffee spilt all over it. 3 months later I have brought a new one, but what I didnt realise that its a completely new updated one.... so when I connected it to my windows 7 it works fine, but when I go to use the volume buttons and the brightness controls... they dont work.. when they use to work on my old keyboard. I read somewhere that I might need O Sx 10.6.8. so I went into the mac side of the computer and downloaded it. but nothing changed.
how can I get these functions to work on the windows side of the computer?

I am using a web application that requires the use of the F7 key. Actually, to be more precise, I need the functionality that you would get on a PC if you hit Ctrl-F7 while in this web application in Firefox. I have changed the Mac's settings to allow standard use of the function keys (rather things like volume up/down, etc.) However, when I try to use Ctrl-F7 it appears to be using the function that is built into Firefox browser rather than the web application running within Firefox. (FYI, nothing happens when I try Cmd-F7 or Alt/Option-F7 either).
Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

How to use the Function keys as function keys instead of action keys?
When I press F1 or any of the other F keys it does what the symbol says on the key (volume/skip track etc).

Do the following:
1. Fire up System Preferences
2. Select Keyboard & Mouse
3. Select the Keyboard tab.
4. Tick the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" box.
That's it. You have now reversed the default use of the function keys. If you need to increase/decrease sound, brightness etc then press 'fn' plus the appropriate function key.

Elvis: Is It possible to use the Function Generator and the Oscilloscope simultaneously?

We are using the NI Elvis to output a function or a sine wave at a certain frequency and using the oscilloscope on the same board/elvis to read a modified signal. Is this possible? Can we use both the Function Generator and the oscilloscope at the same time? Please help. The oscilloscope would be reading signal from an accelerometer. Thank you in advance. at the same time with NI ELVIS. Using the NI ELVIS soft front panels (Start

to open more than one instrument at a time. We do this by opening one
instrument, allowing it to begin, and then opening another. We can also program
in LabVIEW using more than one instrument at a time by placing down multiple
Express VI’s taken from the NI ELVIS pallet on the block diagram (see picture
attached – ‘ELVIS Express VI's (LabVIEW).JPG’). One note when doing this,
please see KB 41ODPHX1
for an example of how to program in parallel. If you do not wire the ‘stop’
terminal of the express VI’s, you will get the error described.

Use of MATLOC_SET function in APO macrobuilder
I am using the APO macrobuilder.
In a macro, I am calculating a quantity in a key figure cell.
I want to use this quantity to update a field on the APO product master.
There is the standard MATLOC_SET function available, but how do I specify that I want to use the key figure cell as the 'field value' to be used in the function?

Another possibility is to get the value of the cell in a variable using LAYOUTVARIABLE_SET(), then calling this value in the MATLOC_SET() using the function LAYOUTVAR_VALUE().

Having trouble with using variables in functions and after functions..
Morning,
I have simplified this, as it represents the core of what’s I obviously don't know how to do.
Problem:
Say I populate that variable by reading in a list if IP addresses from file, finding the line that matches the hostname and place that string into the $IPAddress variable for use later throughout the script. I did not run into a significant problem
until I decided to convert the routine of looking up the IP address and populating the variable into a function. As soon as I made it a function, and called that function, the $IPAddress variable only had the data in it until the function completed.
Once the function had done its work, and had placed the data into the variable, I expected that “new” data to be available after the function had completed..in that variable. But it’s like the $IPAddress variable in the main script is a totally
different data then the variable with the same name that’s used within the function.
So I think this demonstrates some of what’s kicking my butt..

$IPAddress #call to display the contents of the variable at the start of the function.

I am going to run tests that require an actuator to move using various types of arbitrary waveforms such as sine or square. The NI 7344 is hooked to the UMI that is going through a driver for a servo valve. The loop is analog and it is closed. I have played with some of the examples but can't get it to work. I have used the function generator VI to generate a signal but I think I am using the wrong input VI to the motion control board. When I use what I have it moves the servo and then stops. It doesn't continually generate the signal.
I would love to use the controls on the function generator vi to control frequency and amplitude ect. Any help or pointer would be helpful. Thank you in advance.Hello,
I'm not clear on exactly how you want to use the generated data but I'm assuming they will be used as your target points.
There's a built-in example for motion called 'One-Axis Contour Move.vi'. This example demonstrates how to provide your target points as 1-D array. All you need to do is to replace the input array with the output of the function generator. In order to have it run continuously, use a while loop. You can further program your application so that it'll change the waveform on the fly by monitoring the user interface but this might be little little tricky as you will need to reset the move and load the new generated points while keeping track of your current position.

How to find the existing function module is used in another function module
Hi all,
I created a function module and the same one is called from another function module.
When I tried to find where the first function module is used using Where-used List , I am getting the message "function module not found in selected areas" .
Please guide me what is other method to find whether the function module is used in another one.

or go to fucntion group and Generate the Funtion group once.
it will detect all fucntion modules under that function group.

What is the use of CALL FUNCTION MODULE - AT BACKGROUND TASK?

I found Call functional module in background task will make the FM run at the next commit work as some people said. So I have some questions:
1 if we use COMMIT WORK commend, the pending FM will be called? If there are several FMs called at background task, what is the sequence of them? How many conditions will trigger the running of these FMs?
2 Where can I find the log of this pending FMs? In SAP library, it says there are 2 tables. But I checked these tables and can only find the FM name and user of it. And I can not understand content of these tables. It seems one is for the main information of FM, and the other is for the data of the FM, maybe the parameters.
3 If I call a FM in this way, Can I canncel it before the next commit work in some way?

When the COMMIT WORK statement is executed, the function modules registered for the current SAP-LUW are started in the order in which they were registered. ROLLBACK WORK deletes all previous registrations for the current SAP-LUW.
If the specified destination is not available when COMMIT WORK is executed, an executable program called RSARFCSE is started in background processing. By default, this tries to start the function modules registered for a SAP-LUW in their destination every 15 minutes and up to 30 times. These parameters can be changed in the transaction SM59. How can I use Automator to toggle the Function Keys?
I am trying to create a Automated process to toggle the Function Keys on my keyboard. This is because I use several programs, including After Effects, which use the F1-12 keys, but when I am not using that program I commonly use the Apple-defined shortcuts on the keyboard. I have a full-sized keyboard, hence no Fn key. So that's out right away – I've read several comments on this topic where people suggested that this is the ONLY option. I refuse to beleive that.
Automator contains a "Watch Me Do" feature, which I have tried to use to record this process. Problem is, it never clicks the right object. If I record clicking the dock, the magnification (I suspect) throws off the virtual-controlled mouse and picks the wrong object. If I record the Apple Menu route, it gets it about 1/2 the time.
I think what I'm really looking for is a console command I can feed into the Terminal which toggles the keys. It seems to be that this HAS to be an option, even if it is more than one line of commands. I believe if I can feed this process into Automator, it would work.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Mac Geniuses!iKey lets you define function keys per application. You seem to want to turn on & off the defined apple keys. Not sure if these keyboard re-mappers will do the trick.
Here is my other most favored application. Of course, I haven't checked these out in newer OS's. I'm a Tiger man myself.
iKey is a front end program that simulates typing and mouse movements. I use iKey to remap the Function keys.

In essence, an iKey shortcut is a little program in its own right, but you don't need to know the first thing about programming to create an iKey shortcut. iKey has a little more function then the previous free version called youpi key. For many years, I used youpi key before switching to iKey. It works fairly well for me in MAC OS 10.4 although not officially supported. The youpi key download is hard to find & no longer here.

I have the common programs that I use assigned to function keys. I have F4 assigned to Firefox. When I want to start FireFox, I press F4. When I want to switch to firefox, I press F4! Starting & switching to an application in Mac OS are the same thing in Mac OS.
