Use of wsdl:documentation tag in my WSDL.

Hi
I am stuck with this issue for a long time now. i have searched the net and not found any satisfactory solution for my issue.
i will describe it below.
In my application i am generating the WSDL from the server-config.wsdd file. For the WSDL to be generated the server needs to be up all the time as i am not storing the WSDL in seperate location.
All is working well but i need to insert the documentation tag in the operation element .like this
<operation name="queueCall">
<documentation>Pushes the given call in the call queue</documentation>
<input message="tns:callInfoRequest"/>
<output message="tns:callRecordResponse"/>
<fault name="callManagerFault" message="tns:callManagerFault"/>
</operation>
I need to get the <documentation> tag in my WSDL which i am not getting currently . Can anybody let me know how this is to be done . are there any specific tools that do this . Should we manually edit the WSDL to put this documentation tag.
Any help in this regard will be very helpful to me as i need to get a soultion for this issue.
Thanks & regards
Vikram K

You have to have defined in the custom tag that "var" relates to a scripting variable that you want defined.
<tag>
  <variable>
    <name-given>var</name-given>
    <variable-class>myPackage.myClass</variable-class>
    <declare>true</declare>
    <scope>NESTED</scope>

  • ERROR[WSDL Parser] Attribute 'name' not found at: wsdl:documentation

    Hello,
    I'm currently having a problem generating the Java source code from a WSDL, because the WSDL2Service ant class bundled with the WLS install (in the /server/lib/webservices.jar library) does not comply with the WSDL XSD.
    Check http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
    Especially if you add a <wsdl:documentation> in your <wsdl:portType> you end up with a WSDLParser error, while the file perfectly validates through Eclipse:

  • Element tag in the WSDL file.

    I have the following interface for the webservice:
    public interface DocumentProvider extends Remote {
    public void deleteDocument(String documentId) throws
    RemoteException;
    I use the wscompile command to generate the wsdl file and it creates a complex type like this:
    <complexType name="deleteDocument">
    <sequence>
    <element name="String_1" type="string" nillable="true"/>
    </sequence>
    </complextType>
    Is there an option in the wscompile command to change "String_1" to "Document" as it is called in the interface.
    I have run out of idea, pls. help if you know how.
    TIA

    I suggest, if possible, that you switch from JAX-RPC to JAX-WS. JAX-WS is the latest APIs for doing Web Services. JAX-RPC is no longer actively developed. The JAX-WS RI is an open source project on java.net (http://jax-ws.dev.java.net) that is widely used, actively developed, much faster than JAX-RPC. With JAX-WS you have much more control of the mapping Java <-> WSDL. For example, your interface below could be written like the following to achieve what you want.
    @WebService
    public class DocumentProvider {
    public void deleteDocument(@WebParam(name="Document")String documentId) { ... }
    Notice that an interface is no longer needed, you can use a POJO directly as long as you annotate it with @WebService. Also, you no longer need to extend Remote or throw RemoteExceptions. Check it out, I think you will really like it.

  • WSDL for PI 7.1 wsdl:service

    Hi ALL,
    i have a sender SOAP to receiver ABAP proxy scenario.
    i got the WSDl file from sender agreement menu Display WSDL option and gave the WSDL to the to the .Net team..
    they are telling me the WSDL file has some <wsdl:service name="XI_c23f13a4efbc3a7fad8fa18b9ad71bcc_Service"> and this is a ramdon number ..is this a issue .. ?
    is there any other method better than this to Create WSDL for them ..? is i create WSDL using any other method this random number will not come ..?
    thanks
    Souz

    It seems problem is not with WSDL.
    If you want to generate WSDL from another way (other than from sender agreement), you can get it from ID -> Tools -> Display WSDL
    In the URL provide following URL:-
    http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel
    Where
    host - server host name/ip
    port - Server port number
    party - Name of party for sender service(if any)
    service - Sender service
    channel - soap sender comm channel
    Select the appropriate interface and service name in subsequent screens.
    Finally you will get WSDL generated for your interface.

    while opening my SOA composite on Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5, this webservice I have added before and it was working fine but now I am getting exception continuously, I am not using proxy in Jdev and can't go for new release as other teams have this version only.
    Please suggest what should I do for that.
    Thanks.

    If the server containing the webservices is not running or something in the signature of the webservice has changed, you most likely will get this error. When opening the composite, JDev always validates that all the services that are referenced are alive.

  • Getting img tags to work in sub page using jstl core import tag

    Am trying to bring disparate system page reports together under one web app. This means using the jstl core import tag (I dont want to redirect as I want to hide the urls, this web app provides better security than those it calls).
    Use of the import tag works to a degree but any resources (ie. img tags) don't load.
    Have created a much simplified example that demonstrates..
    So heres the jsp...
    <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" %>
    <h3>Delivery Performance Report</h3>
    <c:url value="http://localhost/mycontext/subpage.html" var="myUrl"/>
    <c:import url="${myUrl}" />and a simple sub page (note plain html, no jsp, this mimics my project as the other systems are hidden source, non jsp)
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN">
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <TITLE>sub page</TITLE>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY>
         This is the sub page<br>
         <img src="images/banner_image.jpg" />
    </BODY>
    </HTML>While I dont get any errors what I do get is ..
    Delivery Performance Report
    This is the sub page
    ...but image fails to load.
    If I redirect instead of import it works, but as I said I need to hide the url from the user as security is an issue.
    Any help appreciated, really pulling my hair out with this final stage of something that will make a real difference to us!
    regards,
    G.

    Thanks for the answer but Im afraid thicko here doesnt get it.
    The img src is relative to the sub page, and I have tried it with an absolute address (ie. http://localhost/.....) with the same result.
    If I call the sub page direct (get with browser) the image tag works. Its just if the sub page is imported with the jstl core import tag.
    I've not tried a base tag. The real project always returns pages containing absolute urls... http://ourReportServer/reports?....plenty of params so dont belive relevant, please correct me if Im wrong here though.
    thanks, G.

    Your OrderFormBean class needs to implement a getNumOtaModulesSelected method for that to work. The expression language won't let you get at fields, you need to access it via JavaBeans properties.

    If you want your parameter's value to be pulled from the model, you must
    use modelReference instead of value. Try that and see if it works.

  • How to use SOAP, how do i create the WSDL?

    Hi
    Im have a website that accepts SOAP messages, and all I was trying to do was to POST a canned SOAP message that i copied from using soapUI, which is an awesome tool,  but using c#
    one of the first problems is the page of SOAP data.  what i CANNOT do is create a new string then paste the SOAP page within quotes and end with a semicolon;  instantly it gets hundreds of errors.  the SOAP page has quotes and slashes and
    chars that mess up the string literal.  even trying the @ symbol?  does not help.  @"  bunch of string characters  ";  no.
    i can create a new item, an html page.  paste that soap info? save it, no problem.  did the same, new text item/page.
    in the project i can say    string s = HTMLPage1.ToString():  no, HTMLPage1 is unknown.  its in the project but cannot be seen,
    Another idea besides just trying to send it by force was to use SOAP methods.  i need this to work fast, just a big learning curve for SOAP.  what i did notice in some example was that if i have a WSDL then i can individually address the member
    variables, set them, then somehow form the SOAP message.  this would be great, but how?   I have the page of SOAP data i want to send, and i should be able to find some definition for it that has the xs: and xsl? tags in there.
    i will have maybe 2 different SOAP messages to send out, and need to hear back what the result is.  thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  • How to use objects as a message type in WSDL?

    How can I use object as a type for the message in WSDL?
    For example, I want to achieve something like this:
    <message name="DBConnection">
    <part name="conn" type="???"/>
    </message>
    In the above example, for any operation getConnection(), the return type would be an object of the type Connection.
    Any suggestions ?
    Thanks,
    Dhaval

    Hi,
    Listed below is the step by step intructions to configure the Nokia device as a modem to a mac.
    Steps:
    Connecting your Mac to the internet is convenient and easy with your a compatible Nokia S60 device. You'll need a Nokia S60 device that supports a 2G or 3G data connection (such as GPRS or HSDPA), a compatible Mac (with the latest OS X), a USB cable for your Nokia device or a Bluetooth-enabled Mac, and a network subscription with your mobile service provider.
    To set up your device you'll need to know your operator's Access Point Name (APN) and have the packet data service enabled. For help with this please contact your operator.
    In Settings select and open Connection >Select and open Packet data > Select and open Access point >Type in your operator's Access Point Name
    Exit Settings. Your device is now ready to be used as a modem for your Mac!
    Bluetooth Connection: Pairing between Mac and Device using bluetooth, follow the instruction from here: http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-as-a-modem/connect-to-your...
    Note: Preferred mode is USB as it much faster than Bluetooth.
    Connect the device and then go to System preferences- >Network- >Select Device (Nokia XXX)
    Click on Advanced Tab > Modem tab
    - Vendor : Nokia
    -Model:GPRS (GSM/3G)
    -Telephone Number: *99***1# (contact your operator to get this settings)
    -APN: airtelgprs.com (contact your operator to get this settings)
    CID: 1
    Once connected it will be highlighted in green.
    Hopefully this helps.
    Cheers
    Sandy

  • Can I generate the wsdl:documentation in my wsdl automaticly in jdk6

    I want to document the class, method and parameters in my wsdl. I write my code with ws-annotations. Then compile them with apt and then deploy it with EndPoint.publish

    If you want to use the Acrobat SDK, which is a tool for automating
    Acrobat, you need to buy and install Acrobat on each client.
    Adobe's PDF Library, which doesn't require Acrobat and has a different
    (negotiated) licensing model based on royalties might be a better fit.
    In either case, this would be written in C/C++.
