Use portal functions wethin java project

Hello Every body,
I have i Java project,
i want to perform a user mapping in the portal by this project.
how can i tell the program whats the host of the portal i am using,
i have read in some threads that i have to initialize the UMFactory .
how can i doit,
what does the method initialize of the UMFactory class shoud take as parameter?
i wrote the portal path but it does not work.
i have seen also that i shoud initialize the property: ume.cfg.path !!!
where can i set this property and with which value i have to set it ??

Indeed I implemented an interface which was extended by the javafx class, and in the main java file I need to write following codes to use this object,
Context context = FXLocal.getContext();
        FXClassType instance = context.findClass("packageName.JavaFXClass");
        ObjectValue obj = (ObjectValue)instance.newInstance();
        JavaInterface ji = (JavaInterface)obj.asObject();The problem that I encountered right now is, the exception was thrown at context.findClass("javatest.MyChart");, since it's not able for the compiler to find the JavaFXClass.class.
I checked the folder build\classes\packageName and noticed that both my main JavaClass and JavaInterface have been compiled with .class file, while the JavaFXClass was not, which means the file JavaFXClass.class doesn't exist.
What's the solution?

You will need to use Java Native Interface JNI. Ther are many posts on the subject, please search, and this is the documentation:

How to use print functionality in Java Studio Creator

By clicking the print button, I want the contents of table to be printed.

i think the best thing for you to do is to use javascript. go to jsp page of the form and find the button, as part of its attribute type onClick="window.print()"

It does all those things which are necessary to keep track of a Process after it was created with exec.

How to use "put" function in Java.util.Map class

intially an entry for key is null in a Map.
then if I try to do put function on the map with the same key which had a null value previously It doesn't allow me to put the new value for the Key.
Can anyone pleasee suggest as to how I can put a value on to key with the new value even if the old value is null.

Solutions.
1. Find an existing Java interface library
2. Write a C executable, use the matlab library and write a communications api. Your java app talks to the communications API.
3. Write JNI code that does something similar to what is in 2.
Solutions 2 and 3 require a moderate level of experience in a programming language besides java, probably C or C++.
Solution 2 requires work in the communications api while 3 requires a similar amount of work via the JNI api.

How to run a java project based on x86 Windows XP on Windows CE?

I am a freshbird of J2ME and i am very confused these days.I beg you can look this topic thoughout.
I used to configurate a Java Project File about SIP&VOIP successfully,and I can run it well on my PC .
Now I want to migrate the project to a Mobile OS,and problems comes.
I have installed the Windows CE 5.0 Evalution Edition on my machine(Windows XP SP2) and it works fine.I search it online for days ,and I download almost all related including CLDC(j2me_cldc-1_1-fcs-src-winunix.zip),MIDP(midp-2_0-fr-spec.zip<==Maybe this is not the right one beacuse it don't have a bin folder),and J2ME Wireless Tool KIt(j2me_wireless_toolkit-2_2-ml-windows.exe).
I have configrate the enviroment-variable already , but I don't kown what to do next . Do you kown? I would be very thankfull.

You need to completely rewrite the app to use the mobile APIs as they're very different from the PC ones, I suppose.

What you asked requires interoperability between two very different technology stacks - Java and .NET (which is basically what the .NET PDK does for you).
What you need for this is a mechanism to "translate" between these two stacks. This can be done with various 3rd party tools (that you can buy from companies who specialize in this kind of tools).
BUT
The quick, easy and cheap way is to use the industry-standard of interoperability, which is, as Tsachi told you - Web-Services.

I did some mistake few dependent jars were missing in project build path. After adding those missing BO jar files. Now its giving server connection error. Which I am trying to resolve.

Using mysql decode function in Java

Hi everybody,
mysql documentation says:
DECODE(crypt_str,pass_str) -->
Decrypts the encrypted string crypt_str using pass_str as the password. crypt_str should be a string returned from ENCODE().
I used the above function in a Python script and had no problem, but have difficulty using the same thing in my Java code.
I receive runtime error when tried decode() in my Java code in executeQuery("s");. As far as I know the decode() function should be compiled, I can't run the decode() in the mysql command tool and receive a response (as I compiled and ran it in my Python script).
Has anybody ever used this function in the Java code? How? What format did you use? What I should use instead of "s" in this code?
conn is a database connection:

rs = stmt.executeQuery("s");
I even tried PreparedStatement, but no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
