User defined listener  ADFConfigLifeCycleCallBack failed

Hello
I'm using JDev 11.1.2.3 and I'm trying to deploy my application
after deploying it to the server I noticed in the logs that after I click on navigation link I get the following error- which makes my application fail:
####<May 30, 2013 3:17:02 AM EDT> <Warning> <HTTP> <hrmsoaapdx01> <soa_server1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '30' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <mshapira> <> <a0be1c155584e140:-684a39f9:13ece23dd90:-8000-0000000000af8fdd> <1369898222821> <BEA-101162> <User defined listener oracle.adf.mbean.share.config.ADFConfigLifeCycleCallBack failed: javax.management.RuntimeMBeanException: RuntimeException thrown in preDeregister method.
Did any of you stumbled upon this error and\or know what it could mean?
That would REALLY help me
Thanks for your time

It is standalone 10.3.6.
Yes , I deployed another application also. The only difference , that other application invokes web services and not the DB. But db connection is working - in the page that I access first I do see a table with data populated from the database

    This is probably some jsf library issue.
    Which technology are you using? (ADF is not supported on WLS 12c)
    If you have jsf-api.jar or jsf-impl.jar in your deployment, try to remove them.

  • User defined characters

    Original Post:
    Hello:
    I got the same problem, that oracle client SQL*PLUS and other database tool like TOAD doesn't support the user-defined characters.
    Note : the database's encoding is Big-5 but the client uses Codepage 950.
    I've tried set NLS_LANG=TRADITIONAL CHINESE_TAIWAN.ZHT16MSWIN950 but it still fails.
    The user defined character has it's Big-5 code and Unicode in the system, which works fine. And the encoding conversion is fine with Java program with JDBC, but it doesn't work with Oracle client and other database tool that I suppose the encoding conversion is done by oracle client too.
    Thanks for the reply.
    My Answer to S. Wolicki :
    1. The Database Character set is UTF8
    2. select DUMP(NAME, 1016) from PBB
    it returns:
    Typ=1 Len=9 CharacterSet=UTF8: e5,bc,b5,e9,82,b1,e5,b3,af
    (Note : there are 3 characters, the 3rd character is "e5, b3, af", which is a user-defined character and failed to convert)
    the character in Big-5(CP950) is cb 8e, and in unicode it's e3 7a.
    Software version :
    SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0
    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
    With the Partitioning, Real Application Clusters, Oracle Label Security, OLAP
    and Data Mining options

    The user defined character has it's Big-5 code and
    Unicode in the system, which works fine.
    And the encoding conversion is fine with Java program with
    JDBC, but it doesn't work with Oracle client and
    other database tool that I suppose the encoding
    conversion is done by oracle client too.

    Not being familiar with the glyphs or languages used here, I used the character info from these urls
    http://unicode.org/cgi-bin/GetUnihanData.pl?codepoint=5cef
    http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/dbcs/950.mspx
    character       unicode  (Big-5 /    utf-8 encoded
                          code page 950)
    stretch; sheet   U+5F35   B169        ->  e5 bc b5
    surname; hill    U+90B1   AAF4        ->  e9 82 b1
    peak, summit     U+5CEF     ?         ->  e5 b3 afThe last character here, I did not find the definition in cp 950. Perhaps FBDF but this code point is marked as "unused" in Windows code page 950.
    Which Windows code page are you using exactly? (Maybe some extension?)
    >
    the character in Big-5(CP950) is cb 8e, and in
    unicode it's e3 7a.According to Microsoft definitions cb8e is undefined.
    U+E37A is in the Private use area.
    What result do you expect, and what result do you get in e.g. Sql*plus?

  • Indexing Failed - User-Defined message search

    Hi
    I am trying to set-up a user-defined message search in our PI 7.3 system. After having created a filter and defined a search criteria, SAP says to "create an index of the messages that match the active filters and search criteria"  [Link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/b2e0186b156ff4e10000000a42189b/content.htm]
    Every time I try to run indexing it fails. I don't know why as there is no help-button available and I haven't found anyone experiencing the same issue. Anyone else experienced the same issue?
    Also - using XPath - do I have to consider any particular namespace prefix etc for PI messsages? I have tested my XPath on payload XML in XMLSpy, but the search functionality seem to expect a different format on the XPath syntax...
    Thank you!
    regards Ole

    Hello,
    I have set this up for an interface now. I am not sure how important the index job is because
    the indexing job worked in the dev system, never stopped in QA and failed in prod. Anyway the message search works in all three systems.
    The following blog made me understand the namespace prefix:

  • [SOLVED] Loading user-defined modules [FAIL]

    Since the linux upgrade that rolled out on Nov 9, I have encountered an error during boot that says loading user-defined modules  [FAIL].  I read a post mentioning the problem being related to the /boot dir being on a separate partition (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=129970).  Mine is not on a separate partition, so no booting to a live disk will fix that problem for me.  Another post mentions the problem causing loss of USB support (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=130030)  which is, as of yet, unresolved.  I For all the people upgrading to linux3.1.1 with no problems, do you know what my problem would be?
    I have tried upgrading 3 times but each time it kills my wireless support completely.  All else seems to be working fine.
    Does anyone know what is causing this? or how to fix it or work around it?  I updated my mirrorlist and ran pacman -Syyu but this problem is still there 2 weeks later.  I've been running pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.0.7* and rebooting after every system update.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

    Thanks.  I didn't realize I had to get a new driver every time.  I've gone through several kernel upgrades so far and haven't had any problems.  That fixed it, though.

  • Adding user-defined number of text fields.

    Okay I am having problems, obviously. I am developing a program where the user will enter X and Y values and the program will calculate the relational data. However, I can't even get a start.
    First of all, the user defines the number of pairs of points they want to define. For example, they have 20 points, each with its own X and Y, so they click on 20 and then okay in the first window.
    The next window will then take their answer and display X and Y text fields for as many points as they defined. However, I can't figure out any way to do this.
    Feel free to run the program, the problem lies in the method setTextFields(). Help please!

    If your teacher taught you to program like this they should be shot. There is no need to comment every single line (especially in upper case). The comments stand out more that the code does and doesn't add any usefull information. Obviously comments are important, but you need to pick and choose when to use them.
    Swing related questions should be posted in the Swing forum.
    Also, don't use AWT components in a Swing application. Label is AWT. JLabel is Swing.
    I would use a JTable to input the matching pairs of data. Read the Swing tutorial on [url http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/components/table.html]How to Use Table to get started.

  • How can I use Seeburger java functions on SAP XI's user defined functions?

    Hi All,
    As my title implies; how can I use Seeburger java functions on SAP XI's user defined functions?  I've tried searching over the net in tutorials regarding this topic but I failed to find one; can someone provide me information regarding my question? thanks very much.
    best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike !
    You should check your documentation about which java classes you need to reference in the "import" section of your UDF. And also deploy the java classes into the java stack or include them as a imported archive in integration repository...it should be stated in the seeburger documentation.
    What kind of functions are you trying to use?
    Regards,
    Matias.

  • How to make a reading implausible in user define validations?

    Hi all,
    Can any1 tell me how to make a reading implausible
    in user define validations.
    Regards,
    Darshana.

    I don't have an example at hand right now, but I've done this in the past.
    If my memory doesn't fail me, one of the return parameters of the user-exit in which you have to make your validations has a parameter that let's you define (im)plausibility.
    Edit: the user exit has:
    EXCEPTIONS
           PLAUSI_ERROR
    So, raise this exception to get an implausible reading.
    Hope this helps!

  • User defined field values doesnot show up in summary tab

    Hi,
    I have created my own stylesheet to display some of my user defined field values (associated with organization address book entry type) in the summary tab of the addressbook entry. But Groupwise 8.0 client FAILS to display any of the user defined field values in the summary tab FOR ONLY ORGANIZATION ADDRESSBOOK ENTRY types. NOTE: These organization addressbook entries are created using the C++ Groupwise object API. But the Advanced tab of these organization addressbook entry shows those user defined fields with values in it.
    Also Groupwise 8.0 Client is able to display the user defined field values in the summary tab for the PERSON ADDRESSBOOK ENTRY types, that are created using the Groupwise Object API. Also when I create a Organization addressbook entry using the Groupwise Client (NEW ORGANIZATION) and fill in the user defined field values using the Advanced tab or that addressbook entry, the summary tab displays those user defined field values.
    So there could be some problem in setting the user defined field value for the Organization address book entry using the Object API or it could be Groupwise 8.0 Client issue in displaying the user defined field values ONLY FOR ORGANIZATION ADDRESS BOOK ENTRY, WHICH ARE CREATED USING THE OBJECT API. I also tried to see the underlying XML data in the summary tab and that XML data is missing the USERDEFINEDFIELDS and CATEGORIES tag for the organization address book entry.
    I would like to know, if there is any need for special handling only for Organization addressbook entry in Groupwise 8.0 API. Any thoughts or help is really appreciated.

    Hi,
    Does anyone have an idea?? Think I have the same issue. Except, when I log in the client (ver. 802) then all the info is displayed. But when the user logs in on the same client and the same pc, he sees the xml info except the office address.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Modifying/Updating User Defined Field in a Scheduled Task

    I've written a notification task to send an e-mail to a manager who has a contract employee with a contract that is about to expire.
    Once we isolate a user who has a contract about to expire, we send a notification to the manager. The date that the notification is sent out should be stored in the USR table in a user-defined field, "USR_UDF_LASTSENT."
    Updating this USR_UDF_LASTSENT field is where I'm having difficulty.
    I've tried using the UserManager in a couple of ways. Suppose I've isolated a single user using SearchCriteria and the UserManager and have a single User object called "currentUser." I want to store a Date object in the user defined field "USR_UDF_LASTSENT". Date today = new Date();
    I've tried: currentUser.setAttribute("USR_UDF_LASTSENT", today); //This will run without error, but when I check the DB there is no change to the attribute.
    With a defined instance of UserManager userManager, I've tried: userManager.modify("USR_UDF_LASTSENT", today, currentUser); //This errored out with this error - oracle.iam.identity.exception.NoSuchUserException: IAM-3054135:No user found for the criteria USR_UDF_LASTSENT-9/24/13 2:58 PM.:USR_UDF_LASTSENT:9/24/13 2:58 PM. It looks like it's doing a search rather than a modification.
    I've also tried using the entity manager in the following way:
    Date today = new Date();
    HashMap<String, Object> mapAttrs = new HashMap<String, Object>();
    mapAttrs.put("USR_UDF_LASTSENT", today);
    EntityManager entMgr = Platform.getService(EntityManager.class);
    entMgr.modifyEntity("User", currentUser.getEntityId(), mapAttrs);
    But it returns with this error: Failed: oracle.iam.platform.entitymgr.UnknownAttributeException: User : [USR_UDF_LASTSENT]
    Is my entityType, "User" inappropriate in this case? What should be used here?
    How can I Set or Update this user defined field from a scheduled task?

    Thanks guys. I did go to Identity System Administration console and chose 'Export' from under "System Managment" which I believe Kevin may have been hinting at. I got an xml export of the AttributeDefinitions for our user defined fields. In this file, there was a header for the attribute I was looking for:
    <AttributeDefinition repo-type="API" name="LastSent" subtype="User Metadata">
       <multiValued>
       <backendName>usr_udf_lastsent</backendName>
    I put the string "LastSent" in place of USR_UDF_LASTSENT in the EntityManager version of my attempt at this task. I believe this is what Kevin and delhi were getting at.
    This didn't work:
    Date today = new Date();
    HashMap<String, Object> mapAttrs = new HashMap<String, Object>();
    mapAttrs.put("USR_UDF_LASTSENT", today);
    EntityManager entMgr = Platform.getService(EntityManager.class);
    entMgr.modifyEntity("User", currentUser.getEntityId(), mapAttrs);
    But this did:
    Date today = new Date();
    HashMap<String, Object> mapAttrs = new HashMap<String, Object>();
    mapAttrs.put("LastSent", today);
    EntityManager entMgr = Platform.getService(EntityManager.class);
    entMgr.modifyEntity("User", currentUser.getEntityId(), mapAttrs);
    I wonder if currentUser.setAttribute("LastSent", today); would work... Hmm.
