User Defined Subscreen calls in Tabstrip

Hi,
I created 4 tabs and 4 subscreens (9001,9002,9003 and 9004 )using Screen Painter.
Then I created 4 subscreens (9100 to 9400) as below:
SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF SCREEN 9100 as SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS:so_tabn for gs_DATABROWSE-TABLENAME no INTERVALS.
SELECTION-SCREEN:END OF SCREEN 9100 .
I made Subscreen calls in each of the screens (9001 to 9004 ) to (9100 to 9400) respectively.
That is, for Subscreen 9001, the PBO will have:
*CALL SUBSCREEN SUBSCR_9100 INCLUDING sy-repid '9100'.*
PAI:
*CALL SUBSCREEN SUBSCR_9100.*
When I enter the table names in the field so_tabn  in any of the subscreens in 9100 to 9400, I cannot navigate to any other tab in the tabstrip.(Please do note that the variable so_tabn is only for 9100, it is different in other subscreens 9200 to 9400.)
There will be no dump , and the Tabstrip control will have ACTIVETAB set as the T-code of the tab I clicked on , but the tab I clicked on will not be shown.
I tried removing the Subscreen calls, then the navigation is possible.
Is there any workaround.
Thanks and Regards,
Sentinel

Hi,
Hey you are calling subscreens for the tabstrip in the main screen itself right. Just change dynamically the screen number of calls to the required subscreen number. Dont call these subscreens in the PBO of first subscreens instead call in the PBO of main screen only.
for this just instead of giving screen number directly for the call you use a variable and change the value dynamically when required.
regards.

  • User defined workflow calling unix shell script

    Hi
    I have defined a workflow in OWB 10GR2 which calles a user defined object before calling the actual mapping.
    The user defined object calls a unix shell script which sets things right in the shell before the mapping can run.
    When executing the shell script from a unix shell myself it does exactly what I want
    However if I call the same script from workflow it does not recognize any of the commands not even internal shell commands like ls, touch.
    I've created a small test.sh script
    #! /bin/bash
    ls -l > listing.txt
    Created a flow with a user_defined object of which property is set:
    COMMAND.Value /home/oracle/test.sh
    If I then deploy and start the flow get the following:
    PF_WEB_00:TEST Success
    /home/oracle/test.sh: line 2: ls: command not found
    Anyone has any clue why this is or what I'm doing wrong?
    Geert

    Hi Lew,
    Thanks for the reply.
    This basically confirms what I've figured out so far.
    I noticed I was able to get my script running by using absolute paths everywhere, after which my only problem was it could not resolve the TNS.
    To bypass this I ended up copying all the path settings out of the .profile of my oracle user into my script after which the script ran fine.
    At least now I know for sure what's causing it and that by making my scripts a bit more extensive then usual I can do what I please :)

  • Process Flow - User Defined object calling Unix Shell script not working

    Hi, I have a User Defined Object in a Process Flow with the following parameters :-
    Command: /usr/bin/ksh
    Parameter List:
    Result Code:
    Script: cd /shell_scripts
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh param1 param2 param3
    Success Threshold: 0
    The script executes but it does not correctly interpret all the Unix commands within it e.g command such as FTP, DATE, GREP etc.
    In the job details I can see :-
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: date: not found
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: ftp: not found
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: grep: not found
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: rm: not found
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: ls: not found
    ./dwh_get_datafile.sh: awk: not found
    Anyone know what I have done wrong ?
    The script runs fine when run as a Unix script while logged into Telnet.
    Thanks.
    Paul

    The shell script is executed by the oracle user in the unix environment so make sure that the directorie where you can find the unix commands exists in the path for the oracle user in .profile as you can se in my example below.
    PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$OWBHOME/bin:/ASW/ora_script:/local/bstat:/usr/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/local/bin; export PATH

    yes SDN seems to have an example for you....it may not exactly solve your problem...but yes it not irrelevant.....you just need to do some R&D

  • Can I call a User-Defined Mathscript Function using LabVIEW 7.1?

    I am trying to use a User-Defined function call in a mathscript node using LabVIEW 7.1 and I cannot seem to make it work.
    For example, consider that my mathscript node contains:
    clear all;
    close all;
    x = linspace(1,100,5);
    y = mltp(x);
    where the labview vi is saved in the same folder as the mathlab script mltp.m that is given by:
    function out1 = mltp(in1)
    out1 = 5*in1;
    Creating an array output of the mathscript node for y yields an empty array.
    How can I use User-Defined functions in a mathscript node using LabVIEW 7.1?

    Hello,
    LabVIEW 8.2 did not yet have the MathScript page in Tools >> Options.  In this version, you need to set the search path through the MathScript Window.  Launch the window from Tools >> MathScript Window.  Then go to File >> MathScript Preferences.  It sounds like you have done this.
    A first guess is that your .m file calls some unsupported functions or uses unsupported syntax.  If that were the case, you could put the script in the Script Editor of the MathScript Window and select the "Save and Compile Script" menu item.  This will return any errors from compiling the script.  However, you said you simplified the problem to a single multiplication.  Since this still does not work, I need more information.  What are all the directories listed for the path in the MathScript Preferences dialog from the MathScript window?  What is the working directory?  Where is your .m file located on disk?  Can you attach your .m file or paste the contents in your message?

  • How to call User Define Function

    Hi,
    I need a help....
    In my Project I have Login.jspx page in which there is a textbox Username.
    I have second success.jspx page which has its success.java bean class in which i have define a method "display()".Now i want to cal display() in my success.jspx page.
    can anyone help me out what is the way to do this.
    Thanks in advance...
    Thanks,
    Nehal

    Hi Abhijit,
    Sure i can give you more details on the same:
    I have written a displayVal method in ForgotPassword.java bean class
    public String displayVal() {
    String txtVal = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope().get("testValue").toString();
    nameID.setValue(txtVal);
    return txtVal;
    Now in ForgotPassword.jspx page i have one input text box named "nameID" in which i want to display some value from the user-define method called displayVal()
    now i am trying to call my user-define method in my ForgotPassword.jspx page:
    <af:inputText label="Name"
    binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_FrgtPwd.nameID}"
    id="nameID"
    value="#{backingBeanScope.backing_FrgtPwd.displayVal}">
    </af:inputText>
    but is is showing an error that: backingBeanScope.backing_FrgtPwd.displayVal is not a property as this a method.
    So now my query is : Is there any way by which i can call my user-define method on the jspx page from the bean class of the same page.

  • AIST0002-User Exit - Validation of user defined field

    I have implemented the enhancement aist0002.  I added a user defined field in a user defined subcreen and added it to the leasing tabstrip.  I would like to validate this field against a another field in sap's leasing subscreen.  In the pai of the user defined subsrceen the field of the other subscreen does not get filled.  Is there a way to access the field of the other subscreen on the leasing tabstrip from the pai module of the user defined subscreen?
    Thank you
    Tom

    Thank you for your response but I am not sure where the import occurs?
    This is the pai of the user subscreen 9000 for AS01.
    form edit_input .
      data: itab type lfza.
      if anlu-zzempfk is not initial.
        select * from lfza into itab
                where empfk = anlu-zzempfk and
                      lifnr = anla-leafi.
        endselect.
        if sy-subrc <> 0.
          set cursor field 'ANLU-ZZEMPFK'.
          message e007(zvalid).
        endif.
      endif.
    endform.
    Function exit EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 include zxaisu03
    looks like this:
    anlu = i_anlu.
    anla = i_anla.
    Data gets moved to anlu or anla if it was already built.  They are empty when it is a create transaction(as01).
    Function exit exit_saplaist_003. include zxaisu04
    looks like this:
      e_anlu = anlu.
    After the subscreen is processed it exports the data to global variable.
    The problem is the pai module for the user subscreen 9000, the  field anla-leafi is not filled.  This field is  located in sap's subsceen 1403.  It has data in the screen field.  My assumption is that it would be accessible as global data that could be used by my user defined subscreen once I began the validation in the pai of subscreen 9000.
    Could you provide more insight on how I would access the field from the other subscreen?

  • Issue while deleting user defined field in oim 11.1.1.3

    All,
    Made a mistake while creating user defined field called "Profile for" (loing to OIM -> advanced -> configuration -> User configuration). We are trying to delete it. It appears to get deleted from user attributes screen. But when we run LDAP User Create and Update Reconciliation Task we get the following error below:
    oracle.iam.ldapsync.exception.ProcessLDAPReconDataException: oracle.iam.ldapsync.exception.ReconEventCreationException: Thor.API.Exceptions.tcAPIException: Profile for - LDAPUser object does not exists for resource object
    Is any thing else need to be deleted adn cleaned up?
    thanks in advance,
    Prasad.

    How do i check what resource object the recon task is running against. here is what i found so far.
    I cannot find LDAPUser resource object when i query Resource Management -> Resource Objects in design console. Same thing with Manage Resource and search (here i only find Xellerate User, Xellerate Organiztion, USERS_GTC, and Installation) in OIM advanced administration menu.
    The LDAP User Create and Update Reconciliation job itself has the following parameters (batch size, last change number, OIM employee type, OIM User organization name, OIM user type)
    I also decompiled LDAPUserChangesReconTask and it is looking for LDAPUser metadata from MDS directly.

  • SALES ORDER: Total of a Field from the Grid in a User-Defined Field in ORDR

    Hello!
    I created a User-Defined Field called "U_Soma" in table ORDR (Marketing Documents / Title).
    I need this U_Soma field Totalize the content of another User-Difined Field called "U_TotalPorUM" created in table RDR1 (Marketing Documents / Rows). It must get the Sum the value of all rows in the current record being edited.
    Using the Query below, it works fine with already saved records:
    SELECT SUM(T1.[U_TotalPorUM]) FROM ORDR T0  INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T0.DocEntry = $[ORDR.DocEntry]
    However, I need that it work with non saved (yet) records.

    Gordon, thank you for your fast answers!
    In other circumstances I would agree with you.
    But the U_Soma field must be used to control the maximum weight of a charge.
    It becames very usefull if user can see that the charge limit is reached, still when the Sales Order is being edited.
    (The U_TotalPorUM field shows the weight of each item).
    I would appreciate any help!

  • User defined properties not showing up in design center

    Hello,
    I did a search on User Defined Properties in this forum but couldn't find my answer.
    We are using OWB 10gR2.
    I already added a user defined property called UD_ALTERNATE_SCHEMA to the TABLE class definition.
    I signed on as repository owner, I switched to single user mode, used OMBREDEFINE on class definition "TABLE", I commited my changes switched back to multi-user mode and signed off.
    Here's the proof (it's in bold):
    OMB+> OMBDESCRIBE CLASS_DEFINITION 'TABLE' GET PROPERTY_DEFINITIONS
    BUFFER_POOL BUSINESS_NAME CACHE_MODE CONSTRAINTS DATA_SEGMENT_COMPRESSION DEPLOYABLE DESCRIPTION FREELISTGROUPS FREELISTS GENERATION_COMMENTS INDEXES INITIAL INITRANS LOGGING_MODE MAXEXTENTS MAXTRANS MINEXTENTS MONITORING_MODE NEXT OVERFLOW PARALLEL_ACCESS_MODE PARALLEL_DEGREE PARTITIONS PARTITION_TABLESPACE_LIST PCTFREE PCTINCREASE PCTUSED ROWDEPENDENCIES_MODE ROW_MOVEMENT SHADOW_TABLESPACE SHADOW_TABLE_NAME TABLESPACE UD_ALTERNATE_SCHEMA UOID
    OMB+>
    Here is how I defined this new property for the TABLE class.
    OMB+> OMBDESCRIBE CLASS_DEFINITION 'TABLE' PROPERTY_DEFINITION 'UD_ALTERNATE_SCHEMA' GET PROPERTIES (TYPE,DEFAULT_VALUE)
    STRING NO
    My question is this.
    Shouldn't this new property be available for edit when I right-click on a table object in the GUI interface and then choose "Properties" and then choose "User Defined" tab? Unfortunately it is not showing up on any of my tables in any of my projects.
    Did I miss a step here? Or did I completely misundestand the concept of "User Defined Properties"?
    Thanks

    As so often happens, I found the answer almost immediately after posting this message.
    In the user defined tab, I hadn't clicked/selected a table. Once I clicked on a table object, my brand new user defined property appeared.
    Sorry to have waisted your time. I was really tired yesterday afternoon when trying all this.
    Thanks

  • PROMPT(SELECTINPUT, ...) and user defined dimensions

    Hi,
    I created a custom package that should enable the user to select members of  the TIME, Account and Category dimensions and also members of some user defined dimension called "Costcent". After that, a scriptlogic file should be called.
    I tried:
    1)
    PROMPT(SELECTINPUT, ... %TIME_DIM%%ACCOUNT_DIM%%CATEGORY_DIM%"Costcenter")
    which doesn't work, bc. compiler doesnt seem to like %var%"fixedexpression"
    2)
    PROMPT(SELECTINPUT, ... "Costcenter")
    PROMPT(SELECTINPUT, ... %TIME_DIM%%ACCOUNT_DIM%%CATEGORY_DIM%)
    running the package only allows to select a costcenter, 2nd prompt ignored?
    3) similar, the other way round.
    Any ideas?
    Moreover, I need to be able to access the selection of the Costcenter members in the script logic. For the std. dimensions, there is %TIME_SET%, %CATEGORY_SET% etc.I am using successfully, but how to define or access the set (or list) for the selected members of user-def. "CostCent" dimension ?

  • Accessing a Cache From an Oracle CQL User-Defined Function

    According to the docs ...
    I am to use the following element to set the cache property in my bean...
    <wlevs:property name="cache" ref="cache-id"/>
    However, when I set it, the assembly does not validate.
    If I use <property>, I get a NullPointerException on each request when my processor runs.
    Using the same CQL code..
    Without the <property> tag, the call to the user-defined function works (but I don't have the cache attribute set obviously).
    Here is the excerpt from my assembly...
    <bean id="cacheFunction" class="ou.cep.function.CacheFunction">
    <property name="cache" ref="myCache"/>
    </bean>
    <!-- The default processor for OCEP 11.0.0.0 is CQL -->
    <wlevs:processor id="myProcessor">
    <wlevs:listener ref="CacheChannel"/>
    <wlevs:function ref="cacheFunction" function-name="isValidID" exec-method="isValidID">
    </wlevs:function>
    </wlevs:processor>
    To repeat, with the same CQL with the user-defined function call, if I remove the property element from the bean definition, I can call the function successfully (it just doesn't do what I need it to do). In this case, I am still using the ref=cacheFunction for the wlevs:function within the processor.
    What am I doing wrong?

    The case is solved, not sure I could explain why, but...
    This implementation of the user-defined function was a migration from an implementation using the same cache in the join. So, when I removed the cache reference in the source stream (where I am now executing a function that accesses the cache), the problem went away and everything is working.
    I can explain further if there are questions.
    If anyone has thoughts on this, please advise.
    As always, thanks for the help.

    First, does the registry value actually exist on the workstation? At
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\xxxxx.com\Location
    Second, how is the AutoFill set for that UDF? You'll find that in the Collection Option Set, in the "Collection Editor" tab, and you can edit it if "Run Collection Editor: Always" is turned on in the "General" tab.
    In the Collection Editor tab, find your UDF - Workstation, User, Inventory - and look at the AutoFill column. If it's set to "Always", then it should always populate during a scan. If it's set to "WhenEmpty", it'll only populate if nothing has already populated the field. If it's set to "Never", it'll never populate.
    Third, has an inventory scan run on the workstation in question? Nothing will be populated until a scan has taken place and the resulting WIF has been returned to the Collection Server and successfully loaded. You can force an immediate scan if you need to, but a scan must happen.

    Yes, the Nexus 5000 series has a few issues with LMS (and other things). Among them is the non-support of User Tracking. I'm told it's a MIB variable issue but it's been the case for some time now and remains so with the current LMS release.
