    Hi Experts,
    In my system although there are roles assigned to users in child system they are not showing up in CUA for few user.
    Is there any program in CUA which i can use to  update the user master tables for only a limited set of users from child systems.

    Just want to check below queries....if this solves your problem..
    Is these are the new systems assigned to CUA or moved from other CUA as you said that role assignment is available in child system but not in CUA ? Another  thing that  I want you to check the User Group  assigned to user in child system and in CUA.If user gorups assigned to users are different in CUA and child system or particular group is missing in any one of the system then idoc will not move. Also check the Output device type along with address data...Any mismatch of these will stop the idoc.
    After that run the SCUG for all users, in CUA as suggested by akshay, this you can run for all 10 child system from CUA, no need to go in every child system.....

  • User Master Records/Tables - Exporting User tables for Recovery

    Hi there,
    Work in the Security area ....Outside of the client export of SCC8 for user master records/roles. Is there another recommended method for saving user tables that can be re-imported on the chance of deletion of users and roles and can be selectively re-imported if needed. For instance if a particular User Grouip was deleted with X number of users, could that be re-imported by a selective means ? SU10 is handled delicately in prod when used but unwanted results still occur. Approaches appreciated ..

    OK - Here it is!  I forgot I got the step by step procedure on this forum
    You can get the information through one more option also. In case of function module you need to execute the module again and again for each user or may be need to write a report. I would like to suggest you an alternative. That is making use of queries.
    1. Go to transaction SQVI.
    2. In the input field Quick View give the any name for query for example Z_EMAIL_ADD.
    3. Choose create option. In the resulting pop up give description in Title field. In data source choose TABLE JOIN. Select Basis mode.
    4. In the next screen choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and in the pop up give USR21. Then again choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and this time give ADR6.
    5. Now go back using back arrow or F3.
    6. Now in the new screen you will be under the tab strip List fld select.. From that entries under available filed (on right hand side) select User name in user master record and the first entry for Internet mail (SMTP) address. Now using single arrow pushbutton pointing towards left move these fields to tabstrip List fld select.
    7. Now go to tabstrip selection filed. As done in step 6 move User name in user master record under it.
    8. Save the changes and go back. A pop up will come asking you to save quick view Z_EMAIL_ADD. Choose yes.
    9. Now execute the query. In the input field you can give one user or multiple users at a given time.
    This approach is easier and time saving in my opinion and gives output in desirable format.

    Can someone tell me the table name that stores the email addresses and phone numbers maintained in user master record (SU01)? I need to generate a list of users with this info.

    Could you please let me know how I can get the details from "bapi_user_get-detail" .
    I have not used txn BAPI. Now I executed it. I see two tab strips "Alphabetical" and "Hierarchical". I selected "Alphabetical" and traversed till the USER, Expanded and found the "GetDetail" method.
    Here I have checked that there is this function module "BAPI_ADDRESSORG_GETDETAIL"
    I did a test thru SE37 and It was asking about:
    OBJ_TYPE
    OBJ_ID
    OBJ_ID_EXT
    CONTEXT
    I have provided the USER, <user name> in first two fields and did not get any results.
    Please let me know how to get the details.

  • Selection in the master table is not getting reflected in the child table

    <p> I have a 4 level master detail relationship.I have a bounded taskflow where I have a master in the first view.The child (The other two levels as a tree) in the second view.I move to second view when i click the command link(Each row has a command link) of the master table (present in the first view).</p>
    <p>At the very first time when i try to insert a row in the child it's successful .I am able to see the same in the second view (The corresponding child of the master row which i have clicked).The 2 view is not refreshed i have panel strech layout in the 2 view which i am refreshing(PPR) on inserting the row. The master table is not refreshed as it is in the 1 view.I am not manipulating the master table but it was being set to the first row the second time .Added to that the 2 view doesn't have parent table .

    Hi Frank,
    I am using jdev 11.1.1.6 and integrated wls.
    I have a single taskflow.I have a 4 level master detail.The vo's are connected through a view link . I have dropped the first level as a table . On selecting a row the corresponding children are displayed.The children are displayed as a tree. I have a tree context menu where i have inserted a row using popup . When the user clicks on the ok dialog i am commiting the data and refreshing the tree.
    Now the problem is when i first create the row it's working properly . After when i try to create another row this time the currency of the first level is reset to the first row.
    As suggested by you i have tried disabling the commit opertion . But the issue still occurs.

  • ADF Master Table, Inline Detail Table - How to Scroll Range/Disclose Row

    I really need some help here. I've tried as many things as I could think of and I still cannot get this to work.
    Scenario: I have query/result page. User clicks a link in the result table to take him to another page. This page has a Master table, Inline detail table component (bound to a tree in the pageDef). Before the page renders, all I want to do is scroll the Master table to the current row (based on the previous query/result via invokeAction in pageDef) and disclose the inline detail. Simple, right? In addition, I'll need to scroll the inline detail to the current row as well.
    I would like to do this prior to the components rendering but would be interested in any coding to scroll and disclose.

    I've come up with a solution to my problem. Unfortunately I'm not able to manipulate the table prior to rendering but this solution is probably the closest I'm going to get. Here is my code:
    I set up a af:poll component to fire once on my jspx.

    Instead of doing the master-detail layout by dragging the details over, can you try a new page where you first drag the master VO over and then drag the detail VO over, and then set partialTrigger from the detail to point to the master?

    I have created one form using screen painter displaying text boxes and bind them to the table.
    This form is working absolutely fine when there are some data in table (i.e. Browse using navigation)
    My problem is, when I click add button from tool bar the "OK" button turn to "Add" that means the form is set to Add mode, but when I click "Add" button after entering some data nothing happens and input data is not stored in Table. The same "OK" Button turned to "Update" when I do changes in loaded data, but my changes are not reflected to table after I click "Update".

    There is no such query. The table fields is directly linked to Edit Box or Combo Box in form.
    From the examples I learned that I have to do something like this to get my table updated

  • SAP R/3 Mass User Master Record Update

    I am currently involved in a project to update specific fields of the User Master Record for all applicable records from an external source.
    For the mass change i was thinking along the lines of CATT, BDC/ABAP or Table Changes. Obviously table changes was out first because of the dangers of causing inconsistencies among the SAP standard tables. CATT i think is not really made for this purpose but could probably do the job, and BDC or ABAP is probably the right way to go.
    Any suggestions/comments?

    All 3 options are good.
    I personally use CATT for this purpose however it depends on what your trying to update. SU10 is another option but its drawback is that you can use only 1 value at a time. In CATT however you can use different values for different users. Also time involved in creating CATT tool is very less.
    Obviously you have options like BDC/LSMW and ABAP also with you.

    I have few Master tables like MRP Controllers , Asset Classes, reason for Investment etc.I have got the master tables that store these information. but standard IDocs are not present for those Master data.
    My requirement is , whenever new Master data is added / or existing master data is updated in these tables , i immediatly want to send that changed/newly added data to legacy system.
    what are the different ways to track these changes and send it to legacy system ?

    You can also check the user exits for the same.
    Most of the master data creation program has the user exits associated with them at the new data creation.
    So you can explore that option also.
