USER or BADI Exit In MRP List to Sort
i want to sort with our logic MRP Status "Z" list when i run with "Regen. Planning".
Are there any USER or BADI Exit that you know.
We have Cable Solution Module and i tried J_2CMRPA exit. but it doesnt work for me.

First things first, you don't have to be sorry to me. I am here to learn, so a part of my learning involves questioning.
Hence i questioned the rationale behind suggesting the method -> CHANGE_MDPSX_MARD, as this method helps in manipulating stocks & not for including / excluding a material of a particular valuation type. Atleast that is what i infer from the requestor's initial posting.
Below is a Ctrl C, Ctrl V of SAP help for the method:
- For storage locations in which the stock is planned along with the plant stock, you can change the plant stock quantity. All storage location data on the material is available for these storage locations.
- For storage locations where the stock does not go into MRP, you cannot change the stock quantity for the individual storage locations.
- For storage locations in which the stock is planned separately, you can change the stock quantity for the individual storage locations.

User exits (Function module exits) are exits developed by SAP. The exit is implementerd as a call to a function module. The code for the function module is written by the developer. You are not writing the code directly in the function module, but in the include that is implemented in the function module.
The naming standard of function modules for functionmodule exits is:
EXIT_<program name><3 digit suffix>
The call to a functionmodule exit is implemented as:
CALL CUSTOMER.-FUNCTION <3 digit suffix>

Now Run ur Transaction to Check if it Triggers.

1. Execute the Tcode.
2. Open the SAP program.
3. Get the Development Class.
4. Execute Tcode SE84.
5. Open the Node 'Envir. -> Exit Techniques -> 'Customer Exits -> Enhancements'
6. Enter the Development class and execute.

5. The displayed list contains the enhancements names for the transaction You were looking for.
6. Create a project in CMOD and the code in default include->activate.

We are using gross req. planning.As per standard logic system will not consider storage location stock and only planned receipts/issues are considered.
Can i restrict using any exit or badi not to consider planned receipts/issues while running MRP. please let me know the exit name.HI,

> SMOD-> Press F4 ( Application Help)->Select SAP Applications--> Select PP-> PP-MRP

Badi/exit/Workflow called during execution of the BSP "SRMSUS_SELFREG"
Hi all,
We are running on SRM 5.0.(SP06) Strategic sourcing scenario.We are using enterprise Portal as the front end.My query is that at the end of Supplier registration process,when the Supplier admin creates the USER ID's for the Suppliers(through BSP SRMSUS_SELFREG),is there any way by which we can create the enterprise Portal users for those suppliers at the same time(Automation) ?My BASIS person told me that the automation is possible when the EP system is connected only to 1 backend but in our landscape we are having several systems connected to EP.
Other alternative would be to send a mail to the EP administrator stating that the Vendors User ID's have been created in SRM and the EP ID's need to be created.
For this ,i didnt get any BADi/exit which gets triggered during this USER ID creation process wherein i can write my logic for sending the mail to the EP admin.
There are some Std workflows (e.g. WS10000209)for USER creation but these dont seem to be useful in this scenario.
So the only method left is to modify the Std BSP which we dont want.Has anybody worked on this kind of scenario?
Any suggestions are welcome and will be rewarded as well.

BP is BDT (Business Data toolset) enabled (you can check it by adding break point in FM BUS_PBO and executing BP transaction). You can add your check directly to standard view (the check will be executed each time when user pushes enter) or you could add you check to appropriate action (during saving etc.) there are number of actions which you could use it depends on your requirements. You can find a lot of info about BDT (if you are not familiar) in Wiki.

My requirement is copying of PRCTR from offset line item to the Vendor/customer line item which always appears as line item 001.

Enhancement pt /badi/exit to restrict Creation/edition of Note txt (STXH)
Hi All,
I am trying to restrict creation/edition of Note(text) in PA30 for qualification(infotype 024) . The BADI(HRBAS00INFTY) which triggers when the qualification is changed , is NOT having any data in old_image and New_image when Notes are changed .
Any info on how to restrict enhancement point /badi/exit for this will be very helpful .

Brajesh .No user exits or badis are available to control the transactions or master data long texts. It is only available for SO10 texts (Standard Text). I have read this somewhere in the SAP Notes.

Check the path: SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> Inv. management nad physical inventory --> Authorization management --> Maintain roles and assign users....

How r u guys? I need some help in BADI/User Exit. I am working on FI - CFM. There is a transaction with TCode- TS01 (Create Securities) / TS04 (settle securities).
I need a BADI/Exit which gets activated when the user clicks on the save button. I tried to locate them but couldnt find anything suitable. I emailed sap and they told me that there is a BADI - FTR_CUSTOMER_EXTENT which I
could use to solve my problem. I did try that and wrote a code in that badi;s EVT_TRANSACTION_SAVE_CHECK method.
But unfortunately when i clicked on save button the badi didnt run. I am in a fix as to what do I do ? The system I am working on is a bit old its SAP R3 4.7C. In that I created a Z badi implementation and embeded the original
badi definition and wrote code and activated everything.
Either the badi I am using (which sap guys told) isnt correct or something. Can anyone guide me as to whats the next step.

To add a new custom tab in TM_XX transactions you have to follow these steps:
1. (SE80) Create a dynpro as SUBSCREEN, with the structure (fields, tablecontrols...) you want in the new tab, located in a modul-pool.
Example: Program: ZCFM001
Dynpro: 1010
2. (SE18) Create your custom implementation of BADI FTR_CUSTOMER_EXTENT. This will create a Z class where you can program the new tab management.
Example: Implementation: ZAMPLIACIOTM001
Class: ZCL_IM_AMPLIACIOTM001
3. (SE24) Implement method EVT_APPLICATION_START of your new class. This method is called when the transaction is going to be painted, and manages (among other things) which tabs need to be shown. In general terms, you will have to assign your dynpro to a function code.
This BADI offers you 2 custom function codes, and so, the ability to add two custom tabs. These function codes are OPEN_TRTM_CUST_01 and OPEN_TRTM_CUST_02.
To add your dynpro to a function code, you have to identify this relationship in the internal table (parameter) PC_TAB_BADI_TABS. This is the table that contains the custom tabs to be added.
To do this, you have to add the following piece of code:
DATA: LS_BADI_TABS TYPE FTROP_BADI_SUBSCREEN.
4.1. Modify the tab structure.
LS_BADI_TABS-REPID = ZCFM001. "Report
LS_BADI_TABS-TEXT_TAB = 'New Tab'. "Text (max. 30 CHAR) to display
LS_BADI_TABS-DYNNR = '1010'. "Subscreen
4.2. Add the new tab.

And that's it! Now you will be able to see you new tab in these transactions.

STAD to trace combination of User and Tcode, but particular material its diffcult to trace in std sap.
If you want to trace then you need do some enhancements, create customized table (mateial number, plant, date, time, etc) for when user run the mrp in MD02 then save all data's to your own table.

Difference Between BADI and User Exits
Business Add-Ins are a new SAP enhancement technique based on ABAP Objects. They can be inserted into the SAP System to accommodate user requirements too specific to be included in the standard delivery. Since specific industries often require special functions, SAP allows you to predefine these points in your software.
As with customer exits two different views are available:
In the definition view, an application programmer predefines exit points in a source that allow specific industry sectors, partners, and customers to attach additional software to standard SAP source code without having to modify the original object.
In the implementation view, the users of Business Add-Ins can customize the logic they need or use a standard logic if one is available.
In contrast to customer exits, Business Add-Ins no longer assume a two-level infrastructure (SAP and customer solutions), but instead allow for a multi-level system landscape (SAP, partner, and customer solutions, as well as country versions, industry solutions, and the like). Definitions and implementations of Business Add-Ins can be created at each level within such a system infrastructure.
SAP guarantees the upward compatibility of all Business Add-In interfaces. Release upgrades do not affect enhancement calls from within the standard software nor do they affect the validity of call interfaces. You do not have to register Business Add-Ins in SSCR.
The Business Add-In enhancement technique differentiates between enhancements that can only be implemented once and enhancements that can be used actively by any number of customers at the same time. In addition, Business Add-Ins can be defined according to filter values. This allows you to control add-in implementation and make it dependent on specific criteria (on a specific Country value, for example).
All ABAP sources, screens, GUIs, and table interfaces created using this enhancement technique are defined in a manner that allows customers to include their own enhancements in the standard. A single Business Add-In contains all of the interfaces necessary to implement a specific task.
The actual program code is enhanced using ABAP Objects. In order to better understand the programming techniques behind the Business Add-In enhancement concept, SAP recommends reading the section on ABAP Objects.

I have another doubt in BDC IN BDC WE HAVE MSEGCALL (i did not remember the > correct name) where the error logs are stored, MSEGCALL is a table or structure.
What is the system landscape?
1) Difference between BADI and USER-EXIT.
i) BADI's can be used any number of times, where as USER-EXITS can be used only one time.
Ex:- if your assigning a USER-EXIT to a project in (CMOD), then you can not assign the same to other project.
ii) BADI's are oops based.
2) About 'BDCMSGCOLL' it is a structure. Used for finding error records.
3) Full form of BADI 'Business addins'.
3) System land scape will be depends on your project
Ex:- 'Development server'>'Quality server'-> 'Production server'......

Can any one say,What to do if there is no relavent BADI/EXIT for standard transaction.
Helpful Answer will be rewarded.SAP provide some hooks to add our code to the standard program. This is what we called enhancement.
It has following types:
1. Personalization ( here the fields can be hide, display only etc. )
2. Customer Exit ( Function module Exit, Menu Exit and Screen Exit )
3. BTE
4. BADI( Function module Exit, Menu Exit and Screen Exit )
5. User Exit
Suppose all these are not helpful, then you could create the code from scratch. But it is too difficult to develop because of its complexity.
So what you can do is get SAP access key and change the code in the standard program. This is called as modification. Advantage of Enhancement and modification is whenever there is a new version come the changes made by us in standard code will be attached in the newer version also.
The final way is copy the source code into customer namespace and make changes according to your criteria. Eg. in the standard PO creation if you do like this, several disadvantages are the user has to give a new t.code, BASIS guy has to restrict the standard PO create T.code and you can't avail the new features of future versions.

MD04 - Stock requirement list is a dynamic one. Whenever changes will happen related to MRP, it will update immediately.
MD06 - It is a collective MRP list. It is a static one.
It will show result of last MRP run. It will not update the changes the immediately.
That's why system showing different from each other.
