User terminal History

Hi.
I have a problem with a abap program........I need use the information of the Tc SM20, exactly date, user and terminal. This information is generated when you enter some parameters in this transaction. The question is, how can i get the information that is generated for this transaction???.....i have been debug for find any transparent table that have this information, I need any history where exist user, date and terminal, this history or log must save almost 40 days.....
I think that this histoy (user, date, terminal) must be saved in any place, because, the TC sm20 where get the information????...so i hope you can help me......sorry my english is very bad im colombian thanks

Yes good idea ... When you activate the profile through sm19 and set the filter option, click on Environment => profile Parameter => DIR_AUDIT ...
You will have the path where the audit log are created at the OS Level.
You can also use the transaction sm20n to view the audit file

We come across a problem that our instance was down suddenly. When checking with the alert log file, it shows that the instance was terminated due to error 472. Did you come across such situation before? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I have no idea why this happen. is it because DB is ona VM machine?
I remember one time whe I took a snapshot on VM server, grid control services are down for a moment, 4 minutes, WebCache seemed cleaned, this page is gone, after 3 minutes, it comes back.
Anyone has the same issue, please share your experience.

OIM - Error while acessing User Profile History report

Hello,
I'm using OIM 9.1.0.2 (on JBoss 4.3.2 GA). In the admin interface when I navigate to Historical reports and click on User Profile History report link, I see a message
A system error was encountered.
Contact Oracle Identity Manager System Administrator.
I see this only in our Test environment. In prod it is working fine. Not sure what is missing:

Querying CMS tables for users' security, history & favorites

Hello,
We are running BOBJ over a BW environment, and we've been asked to help design a Webdynpro interface that reads a user's security credentials in both BW and BOBJ servers and pulls in all reports, Bex or BOBJ, that they have access to.
To do this, we would need to query the CMS tables for:
All reports a user is authorized to view
Groups a user is associated with
User's History
User's Favorites
Does anyone have suggestions? I've researched Query Builder, but I'm not sure if it can help us, as it accesses three virtual tables instead of the physical tables in the CMS. The option I am guessing we will need to use is SDK.
I'm fairly new to both BW and BOBJ, so any advice is appreciated.

User decision history report, workflow summary log

Hello SAP Workflow community,
In our project there is a task to implement User Decision history/log management. I want to get programmatically (via ABAP, in order to be able to store this data in DB too) the history all user decisions (statuses of all User Decision work items) inside of specific workflow and send the summary report to the workflow initiator/workflow administrator upon the workflow completion.
After some search I found the complete set of relevant function modules under SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_*, where you can get detailed information per work item, including their statuses, but I'm not sure, that this is the best practice to implement such task.
Of course, we can go «brute force» and built such log manually: to log each user decision and store it in multiline container and after that find some way to send it to the desired person. But I'm pretty sure, that there must be another way, should be some standard, SAP-provided way to build such summary report. Could you, please, point me to the relevant directions.
The Bottom line is at the end of each workflow execution I want to send to workflow initiator the report with list of all User Decisions, their statuses (approved/declined) and username, who took the decision.

GOS->workflow->workflow overview should show the workflow log showing the status of the workflow until now (workitem name/start data & time/end date &time/decision/status/user name).
Table swwwihead has the fields wi_cd (creation date) wi_aed (end date) and wi_aagent (actual agent)
Table sww_wi2obj has the link to the object.
Table swwloghist has the workitem history.
You could use the way suggested by Karri, since the decision is hard to read directly. But for workflow reports,I usually use BW see Workflow reporting in BW – extractor improvements

When l try to execute this application in my pc thru Terminal Server, there
were nothing displayed at my pc but when l check at on 'ServerA' , l can

I think that to avoid install, the software could be located on a shared
drive,
and users linking to it through running 'ftexec' or directly the compiled
binaries.
For nodes not to appear in the environment as nodes, they could be defined
as members
of a model node '(which then would be in the environmnet)'
Putting a password in the environment could prevent nodes to be registered
there, but
might prevent the apps from being executed.

When I click on Firefox it opens the browser, and I get a white page with the message "user terminated". Why would this be happening?

after removing the virus "privacy protection" we haven't been able to open firefox without the "user terminated" message.

If you can't install on top of the current installation then you need to delete or rename the current Firefox program folder to do a clean install.
It is possible that your security software is using or locking files, so you can try to temporarily disable that software during the installation.

User Status History on Device Master Record

Hello experts - I am in the process of investigating a defect and like to see the User Status history on the Device. For some reason the user status history is not part of the change documents maintained on the device. Help!

Can you please check the data element of the field. In the further characteristics tab you have a check box to maintain change document. It should be checked. After that goto SCDO Selectobject click generate program if required.

It is good , if you run utlrp.sql in restricted mode also set job_queue_processes =0 and check no dbms_job running package ( if package is valid then fine ). Problem only come when package/procedure are locked/in use by session. If invalid package are not used by any session then you can run utlrp.sql without restricted mode also. Well you know better you application.
Since you not altering any dependencies, just want to compile , you can run without restricted mode.

You could run a command NETSTAT on the B1 server to see all the ports open and identify .....
In Comman prompt type netstat and check
or
Run "netstat -a" on command prompt
by output u will get who was login to server in hidden way....
and trace each IP....some body has delete or change d location/move
I dont think so SAP is Not Storing the LOG file for user login in any Table, acording to me...let see

Connection to user &&&& , terminal &&&& lost error in SM21

Hi ,
Often in our system users are getting logged out , If we see the sytem log in SM21 , it shows error as
Connection to user &&&& , terminal &&&& lost , with Message no Q04.
for (eg) Connection to user 26647 (C045304 ), terminal 173 (DT-01046766 ) lost
is the exact error messages, and this problem we are facing in only one office say thorpe park, other
places all the users are working normal, but this particular users are saying they are not able to acess
SAP and it is gettting hanged / frozen up ,we checked up with LAN network also, seems to be okay,
Can anyone advise if you people have come across this kind of problem or some more description of this
problem why it occurs? It will be so greatful to us to solve the issue.

Firefox loses the saved users and history after awhile!

When I first start Firefox all is fine, the history is there and working, all the saved user/pass is there but after awhile it's like firefox loses it's memory and I need to restart the browser to get it all up and running again. Is it a config I need to do in about:config or what?
This didn't happen when I was using Windows 7 and FF, but now under Ubuntu 10.04 it happens all the day.

Even in safe mode it loses it's memory, but it comes back real fast.
Got a terminal up and running and it tells me this:

Can't find anything out on google about this, but I'm not alone with having this problem with Ubuntu and Firefox in Sweden.
