Users not able to see all the default reports in FDM under analysis

All,
Users in FDM are not able to see all the default reports which will be available under Analysis. I have checked the MenuNavigation and MenuNavigationItems under object maintainence in FDM which have "ALL" as the provisioning level. I am not sure where the issue is as the users still not able to see the reports. Please advise if there is something that can be done in workbench.

You can set security on Report folders in workbench.  You would go to the report tab in workbench, and right click on a Folder (Cannot do it on the individual report, it has to be on the folder), and you can assign security levels to the report folder.  There are some in here that default to the admin level but you can override it.

    It is possible to reset the zoom size.Have you tried [[Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages|Firefox's zoom feature]]? This will help increase the size of web pages.

  • Not able to see all the SAP tables from CR 2008

    1)I am not able to see all the SAP database tables(DEV server) from Database expert menu in CR 2008. Only tables those start with alphabet letters upto A & B are visible. I checked the database connection>right click>options> found no filters as well.
    We are using the CR 2008 trial version with SAP ECC.
    2) When i am trying with Production Server of SAP ECC, I am not able to logon to the SAP from CR 2008. It is giving error message
    as : LOGON FAILED : User USER1 has no RFC AUTHORIZATION for function group SYST

    I am checking 0VALUATION_TEXT extractor on R/3 using RSA3 Tcode.
    It is showing only 3 records.
    When I am loading this Text Master data through InfoPackage, the records were loaded from R/3 to PSA itself is 6.
    Why I am not able to see all the records in RSA3.
    Kindly Help me out in this.

    Hi Geetha,
    Check the data, It seems loded data was 3 records for 2 languages.
    In RSA3 it is showing 3 records for EN language.
    Assign points if it helps...

  • Not able to see all the subject areas with BI Author and BI Consumer roes

    Hi All,
    Recently we have upgraded to OBIEE 11G and we have created new users and assigned groups in the new 11G.
    Generally users sholud be able to see all the dashboards and subject areas with the default BI Author and BI Consumer roles.
    But in our 11G system users cannot see all the subject areas with the above groups, only if we give the BI Administrator role the they can see all the subject areas and dashboards.
    We cannot give BI Administrator role to all the users....Please advise.

    Basically, we should be able to see all the application components(when you select 'datasources' under 'modeling' in RSA1) in bi which contain different datasources in them, example:
    App components
    +Financial Accounting
    +Controlling
    +Sales & Distri
    i am not able to view any of the above App components in BI.

    Hi,
    These data sources not activated in the source system in SAP and you need to go to t-code RSA5 and activate them manually after selecting them.
    I think its "Activate data source" option.
    Create a TR for this if asked.
    once activate you need to replaicate them in BW and then you can see if they are coming or not.
    Also it is possible that you are looking at the wrong source system.
    in the data source option in RSA1 look for SAP option and the right client and then see if these data sources are appearing or not.

    we have integrated siebel with BI publisher, except sadmin other users not able to see BI publisher reports, it is throwing error "No file has been attached to this record, please attach a file. SBL-SVC-00155".
    when login with sadmin report is generating. we have created user sadmin on BI publisher. if we change that user sadmin on BI publisher to some other name, then sadmin not able to generate reports. is there any specific on user creation on BIP should match with siebel?

    i suggest then dropping user and re-creating and then re-assigning permission (just keep his webcat files) - it'll be faster than looking into individual permissions
    another possible option - did you check his browser? sometimes the screen resolution can be too low and they don't see it on the same screen - need to scroll.
    is it possible he's not using the same Dashboard page as others? just check the "Report Links" to make sure
    i'm not sure what else could be a cause of this

    It has something to do with Segoe fonts in your system.

  • Not able to see all the users in AL08.

    Hello all,
    We  have SAP ECC 6.0 installed on SOLARIS 10,database as oracle 9.2.0.6
    We have installed and configure solaris cluster 3.2 for our production environment , one node installed with database ( db+ci ) and other node installed with application server.
    In Database server t-code AL08 only shows its user only, while in application server it works fine, Al08 shows users of both the servers.
    same problem with SM51, From application server we are able access database server but from database server we are not able to access application server. Access means we can check work process,user etc.. even though in SM51 both the servers active.

  • Table Maintance - Not able to see all the entrie of table

    I have created a Z table where I have mentioned 3 key fields.
    MANDT      CLNT    3
    ANSVH      CHAR   2
    ENDDA      DATS    8
    Now when I create the multiple entry using sm30 with the key field ANSVH same and different date i amnot able to see the entry in the sm30 but in table it exists.
    e.g.
    in table i have 2 entrries
    100   A     30.03.2009
    100   A     31.03.2009
    but in sm 30 i am able to see only one entry
    A     30.03.2009
    I have generated the table Maintainnance several times but no success.

    1) you might have forgotten to check key field for date field,

    2) may be the table is inactive, if so activate the table
           Table is active.
    3) may be you would have made the date field as a key field after you had created the table, in this case you will have to click on utilities menu -> database utility, then click on activate and adjust database,
    Even though I created all the key fields in first place it self, I tried data base utility also.
    4) once you give the entries you might have forgotten to save the entries.

    I have created a Z-table. In that records are stored based on the dates.
    Suppose :
    The fields and their values in the table are as below,

    But in if we go in SM30 transaction, it is showing only recent records i.e.as below,

    Please tell me how can I get the full contents of the table in SM30.

    Looks like there is a date restriction for showing records where the ENDDA date is not less than SY-DATUM.
    When entering SM30, select the option (radiobutton) "with restrictions"
    There might be some default restriction maintained.. Check that and remove it if present.

    Users that belong to one node are not able to see users in another calendar
    server node. Both calendar servers are pointing to the same directory server.
    Some errors that occur in the log files:
    DEXOTEK ERRCODE Ox13608 -> SchedBaseOpen: Section name too long
    DEXOTEK ERRCODE Ox13608 -> OpenConnection: SchedBaseOpenOnHost
    And when uninode -cws nodeID is run, it does not report being able to see all
    the users and resources on the remote nodes.

    directory of items: 10 (USERS = 10/RESOURCES = 0)

    There is a reported bug, that 16 chars is max on domain names for the nodes.ini
    file, which means that you need to change that file and use:
         a) an alias that can be resolved on the network with either DNS or local
         host files
         b) use the IP address.
    As documented in the release notes, here is the procedure on how to modify the
    hostname when it is too long. Or how to modify the hostname for any reason.
    Fix for long host names problem
    If the fully qualified domain name for your network exceeds 16 characters, it
    will be necessary to shorten the host name of all the servers in the Calendar
    Server network . These instructions must be carefully followed to avoid causing
    problems with the network. Ensure that the procedure is applied to ALL nodes in
    the Calendar network.
    1) The following procedure should be carried out on each server in the
    Calendar network:
    a) Bring the Calendar services down.
    % unistop -y
    b) Run the unidbfix command in export mode.
    % unidbfix -export -n node-id
    This will create a remotenode.ini file for each node on the server. The file is
    located in the node's perm directory.
    Example:
    If you have two nodes on the server ROCK, node 1(in N1) and node (in N2), the
    files are:
    /users/unison/db/nodes/N1/perm/remotenode.ini
    /users/unison/db/nodes/N2/perm/remotenode.ini

    local node (copy the section from one of the other files). Modify the
    RN_HOSTNAME in each of the sections of the master file to shorten the
    name.
    c) Copy the master file in the perm directories of each node on all the
    servers.
    3) Once the master file is in the perm directory of all the nodes, proceed as
    follows on each server:
    a) Run the unidbfix command in the -import mode.
    % unidbfix -import -n node-id
    b) Edit the nodes.ini file on the hub server and make the same changes to
    the host names. You do not need to apply the changes.
    c) Edit the [UTL] section of the /users/unison/misc/unison.ini file and
    change the host name.
    d) Start up the services.
    % unistart
    4) After all the changes have been made, run the uninode -cws all and
    uninode -snc all commands and verify that the results are accurate.

  • ODBC connection not able to see all schemas

    Hi everyone,
    We have noticed an unusual problem that just recently started. In our database, I have created a read-only user - only has the ability to connect to the database, and SELECT ANY TABLE. Then we have some applications (Crystal Reports and Lotus Notes Agents) that use this user to query data. The applications use an ODBC connection, and when we initially set this up, everything worked beautifully.
    However, suddenly we have noticed that the ODBC connection is not able to see all of the schemas in the database. We have tested and confirmed this - using either 9.02 ODBC or 10.01, this happens with both of them. I created a couple new ODBC connections, one for each version, then I try to create a new Crystal Report, using this ODBC connection - when I connect using the read-only user, it connects just fine, but when it shows me all of the schemas available, I am only seeing about half of them (and of course not seeing the one that I really need to see).
    However, when I use Microsoft Access, and try to import some External Data, and I use the same ODBC connections, then I AM seeing all of the schemas.
    Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot?

    tell me what you mean when you ask me to log in
    directly as the same user using ODBC and query
    ALL_TABLES - how would I do that?Using whatever Oracle database account you use in Crystal, log in to the database using SQL*Plus (or your favorite GUI like SQL Developer) and run a query like
    SELECT owner, table_name
      FROM all_tablesDoes that query show all the tables you expect, or are you missing some?
    Also, you mention a parameter in the ODBC API that
    controls which schemas are returned - is there any
    way to see that value?An ODBC trace might show the value, I don't recall if the actual value is written out in the trace. Different front-end tools often have a place that allows you to filter out certain schemas, which is generally done by passing in a parameter to this ODBC API call. I don't know enough about your tools, though, to know where this might be.
    Are there any other ODBC drivers I could try?There are plenty of third party ODBC drivers out there, but I would tend to be suprised if the ODBC driver was at fault here. You could also try patching the ODBC driver and/or Oracle client to the most recent patchsets.

    when FBL3N report  ran for one the expenses account (time paid off  - project charges account) , only few  line items are displaying  the transaction code like CJ88 and CJ8G.
    can you please tell me why all the line items are not showing the transactions codes and is there any know situation when the T- codes are not displayed.
    What I need to do, to get all the T- codes in the report ?
