Using BrowserLab, conditional CSS [for ie7] on a local WordPress set up using MAMP

A rare post on the Adobe forums though I'm a frequent reader.
Sorry about the long title.
Trying to fix some IE7 issues on my WordPress site within Dreamweaver CS5/MAMP, I can't get BrowserLab to show any changes I make to the CSS file for IE7.
To test this MAMP set up and BrowserLab, I changed the body bg colour [to a turquoise like colour instead of grey] and it didn't render in BrowserLab - even after refreshing in BrowserLab.
After restarting the Mac Pro, it did render correctly - turquoise! I'd prefer to not have to restart after every CSS change so is there something I've overlooked to get BrowserLab to render in IE7 after I've edited the IE7 specific CSS file [Dreamweaver doesn't 'see' the IE7 CSS in the long list of CSS, PHP, JS and XML files in Live View but I can live with that]?

The link is:  This folows the normal CSS link. I obtained the basic code for the link from the WordPress 'Conditional Comment CSS' codex page [http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Comment_CSS].
In DW/BrowserLab panel I'm using Local Network.
The URL in BrowserLab begins with dreamweaver: if I use http, I see a 403 authentication message [never noticed that before!].
However, I think it works. What I was doing wrong is not selecting Preview in the DW/BrowserLab panel: just hitting refresh within BrowserLab after any changes to the IE7 CSS file. I've just triple checked this by changing the body bg colour to yellow [it worked] then to pink [it worked] and now pale blue [it worked].
This problem was me being dim; now to get things to work in IE7 [there's a part of me that says don't worry about IE7!].

P.S. A sneaky PS; any ideas on how to get the side bar to the top of the page [level with left content] would be welcome - I've got it to sit on the right with a large left margin but it sits, vertically, after the left content but above the footer.

Using conditional comments for IE7

I'm working on my first try at applying a conditional comment. My page looks ok in browser lab for all browsers except IE7, which appears to need a change in left padding on a particular div. My main css for that div looks like this:

padding-top: 192px;
padding-left: 138px;
height: 38px;
width: 120px;
position: relative;
I've adding the following after the start of the div tag in the HTML code:

As I understand it, the main css instructions should still be in effect, only the left padding will change. But when I view the page in browser lab, the condition comment has no effect. What am I missing?

The two simplest ways -
1. Just including the link to the file will open the file in the browser allowing the user to save the file as required.
2. zip the pdf file and include a link on the page, as it is a zip file the browser will start the download dialogue.
Zipping a file is relatively simple and most os's include this as standard, on windows select the file then right-click and go to 'sent to' then select 'compressed 'zipped' folder'.

Using If condition in For EACH Group

Hi all,
I want to use if condition in for-each-group. Basically my requirement is that i want to use dynamic grouping. There will be two groups and the upper group and lower group will be selected on the basis of a report parameter.
I hope i made it clear enough. So please help me in this. Any ideas will be highly appreciable.

You can add a If condition filed after the for-each field
for EG : <?if:ADDRESS_TYPE = 'Employee Address'?>
and then add anothet field which has <?end if?>

Sales Order Unable to Use New Condition Tables for Tax Condition Type

Dear All,
I am currently working on SAP R/3 4.0. I have a new requirement for my tax where I need to create new condition tables other than the 4 standard SAP tables which are Customer/Material, Division/Customer, Departure Country/Destination Country, Domestic Taxes and Export Taxes. My new tables consists of Departure Country/Destination Country/Shipping Point/Tax Code. The requirement is that the tax code is based on the chosen destination country and shipping point. The problem I am facing now is that no matter what types of table I create or even I generate with reference to the standard table, the access sequence will only refer to the 4 standard SAP tables above. Even if I put my own table in the highest priority for the access sequence, the same thing happens. My sales order will only pick up date from the standard table.
I wonder if anyone encountered the same problem as me.

I suggest fist check a simple thing ,whether u have successfully determined shipping point for each line item ,it is possible that just adding a line item will not trigger shipping point determination . So after u update the shipping point on line level u can rerun pricing and check agian if u r getting it .
Secondly for tax purposes I suggest Try to have Customer and material tax classification approach this allows to u have long term flexibiliy and also reduces your maintenance activity . As if u change or add number of shipping points and business changes using the sequence of shipping point ,the logic of just using shipping point will not work.
In Tax classification u cna add new condition table for each new tax category and use it in different access sequences.
This information can be passed on to FI using Different Tax code for Different combination.

How Do I Use a SINGLE Custom CSS for My Project?

How do I set a single CSS for a project?
Currently, I have linked (I checked, they are actually linked) FM files. The project is Responsive HTML 5 Single Source Layout. It is set up this way:
Project Files
Each FM file has a folder that contains a CSS, an FPJ, any baggage (PNG, for example) and an HTM.
So, for my project, I have 31 such folders.
Above them is RHStyleMapping.css.
That's it
To map my project to a custom CSS, I did this:
1) Created the custom CSS (let's call it TheSingleCSS-sb01.css) and put it in the same location as RHStyleMapping.css.
2) Right-clicked Responsive HTML5 (Primary Layout) in the Single Source Layouts pane.
3) Selected Properties. The Responsive HTML5 Properties dialog box opens.
4) Click Content, select the Apply to all Topics check box, select CSS, and choose my CSS, TheSingleCSS-sb01.css.
5) Click Save and Generate. Generating happens.
6) When prompted, click View Result.
7) Double-click one of the resulting topics, and choose the HTML tab.
8) Notice the following CSS files are referenced, NOT the one I want:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="Configuration_ChangeWorkflow.css" type="text/css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="..\..\RHStyleMapping.css" type="text/css" />

So:
1) How can I replace 32 individual CSSes with one single custom CSS?
2) Also note that Project Manager does not display my custom CSS, even though it is in the same location as RHStyleMapping.css and referenced in the Properties dialog box.

Hi, so as I mentioned before, I have used Apply to all and this doesn't work. The resulting HTML still uses a specific CSS for that one HTML file.
1) I put the CSS I want to use, Sean01.css, in the top level of my project using Windows Explorer.
2) I Save and Generate.
3) But, my settings for styles in the CSS are not used. For example, FM_GlossaryDefinition is defined with a 0 left indent but actually uses a 144pt indent (that mirrors the print FM document and that I do not want).
4) And, you can see from the actual HTML, that the Sean01.css file that I applied to all topics (see the first image) is not referenced. What am I doing wrong?
What am I doing wrong? Again, these are imported FM files; this is not linked.

Using RB00 condition type for Price Adjustment

I have to do a price adjustment due to some rounding issues in the pricing of my sales order.(Using standard Pricing Procedure RVAA01). I am thinking of using manual condition type RB00 at Item level that can accept both positive and negative values depending on the situation.
If the calculated value>expected value then the user will enter negative RB00 value manually and
if the calculated value<expected value then the user will enter positive RB00 value manually.
The account key is however different in standard Pricing procedure for RB00 and it is ERS and for standard Base Price (PR00) it is ERL.
So, my question is that does that make any difference if I maintain condition records in VKOA for RB00 same as PR00?

If you are looking for rounding then you round the decimals by not maintaining any decimals.But if it is a price adjustment then your approach is correct
If it is VK11 then there is no need to maintain condition record for RB00 as it is a manual condition type at item level
If you are talking to maintain revenue account determination VKOA then you have to maintain as whenever you give discount then it will hit some G/L account .So you should assign a G/L account also

It means you are trying to veiw the executed condition record. System found the condition record for entered transactional data which you cannot see by clicking on it (when you see green record in condition analysis).
For given condition type -> and access sequence/ access - system shows the condition record that is determined. You can see its details by clicking the access which shows the message that condition record has been found with its determined parameters.
Ex: For batch determination I have set up one search strategy with a condition type (with access sequence). I created one condition record. When creating say sales order -batch determination takes place based on condition record parameters. System shows a green light for determined condition record. You cannot see its details - if you try to see then system issues a message like ''The condition record for use B can not be displayed''. If you want to see click on its immediate predecessor (access ).

Actually, I just realized it's the exact same syntax as regular html (which I was thinking, but for some reason it didn't work the night I posted):

Using CSS for Web dynpro application in EP

Hi,
I have some CSS (Style sheets) which I need to apply to the portal, so that all the web dynpro applications can have the same look and feel.
I read something about Theme Editor in EP. Can I somehow use that to import the CSS contents into the EP theme?
Any pointer to using CSS for Web Dynpro applications will be appreciated.

We also got the same problem with our client and escalated it to SAP.
they advised to use the access sequence <b>JIND</b> which consists of condition tables in the order given below

CUCM 9.1.2 CSS for CFA/CFNA using SLRG

All offnet outgoing calls are successfull, while using local route groups in CUCM. My CSS includes pt_internal and pt_local (but I know it would ring offnet without any CSS assigned to line/device because device pool matches it's local gateway.
But when I use CSS which matches to 9.XXXXXXXXXXX/pt_local>RL local>SLRG in CFNA or CFA incomong call on this phone fails.
What's the matter with it? Is it possible to use local route groups for css for CFNA or CFA not making route patterns for each region?

As Shenbagarajan mentioned above (+5) , during the CFA or CFNA scenarios the call is routed as per the devicepool settings or the originating device and not the end point from where the call is being forwarded.

CSS only plays a part in choosing the route pattern. So you need the correct CSS or Call Forward CSS on the forwarding device but correct device pool is required from where the call is originating which can be a trunk , G/W , phone etc.
