Using FNDLOAD to upload data of all employees into fnd_user form?
Hi
I have created a production clone instance. In clone instance, i have to create all users in fnd_user (user form) those exists in HR employees (HR module) for accessing self service application. Each employee in HR will have a fnduser (username=employee_number). How can i upload 1400 employees (employee_name,employee_number) from HR module to fnduser form? I wanted to do it using FNDLOAD? Is it possible?
Extracting data from HR schema and uploading through DATALOAD is possible. But i would like to do it using FNDLOAD. Please suggest.
Regards
Ariz

According to your description, you want to get the max date for the employees, right?
In your scenario, do you want to get the max date for all the employees or for each employee? In MDX, we have the Max function to achieve your requirement. You can refer to Naveen's link or the link below to see the details.
http://www.sqldbpros.com/2013/08/get-the-max-date-from-a-cube-using-mdx/
If this is not what you want, please provide us more information about the structure of you cube, so that we can make further analysis.

Upload data from microsoft access to oracle form(in data block)
Hi all,
Any one can help me, how we can upload data from access file to developer form(in data block).
as
we upload data from text file to developer form(in data block) using some packages.
Thank's in advanceHi Zuhair,
If you give details of the problems you are still having then we should be able to get SQL*Developer to work.
However, if you don't want to use SQL*Developer then the following options are taken from note 393760.1 available in Metalink if you have access to that -
1. Use a gateway that supports the non-Oracle database or generic connectivity if a third party ODBC driver is available to do a -
'create Oracle_table as select from non_oracle_table@database_link'
for each table. You would then have to manually create all the other objects (views, indexes, stored procedurs etc) and permissions etc that existed in the non-Oracle database.
2. Use the SQL*Plus COPY command to copy data from the non-Oracle database to the
Oracle database using a gateway or generic connectivity. The syntax is as follows:
COPY FROM username/password@oracle_sid -
INSERT destination_oracle_table -
USING query;
The following example selects all rows from the EMP table in the non-Oracle database and
inserts them into the local Oracle EMP table:
COPY FROM SCOTT/TIGER@ora10 -
INSERT EMP -
USING SELECT * FROM SCOTT.EMP@gateway;
where "gateway" is the database link created for the gateway.
3. Load the non-Oracle data into flat files and use SQL*Loader to put the data into Oracle tables. Again manual
work is required for the other objects.
4. Contact the Oracle Product Technology Services (PTS) group for assistance. See the webpage -
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration//workbench/index_sqldev_omwb.html
5. Use a third party migration tool. See -
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/isv/third_party.html
6. Use JDBC to connect to the non-Oracle database and Java in the Oracle database. This method will work but it is not suppported by the JDBC team.
=========
The amount of work involved will depend on the number and size of Access tables that you want to migrate.

Load data in xml file into Pdf form created by LiveCycle Designer
I want to load data in xml file into Pdf form when Pdf opened and Form field will be filled with data from xml file .I try to use $host.importdata("filename.xml"); But i could not find suitable place to run my code. Can anyone give me some advice? thank you.
Hi,
extract your xml and then you can use insert all clause.
here's very small example on 10.2.0.1.0
SQL> create table table1(id number,val varchar2(10));
Table created.
SQL> create table table2(id number,val varchar2(10));
Table created.
SQL> insert all
2 into table1 values(id,val)
3 into table2 values(id2,val2)
4 select extractValue(x.col,'/a/id1') id
5 ,extractValue(x.col,'/a/value') val
6 ,extractValue(x.col,'/a/value2') val2
7 ,extractValue(x.col,'/a/id2') id2
8 from (select xmltype('<a><id1>1</id1><value>a</value><id2>2</id2><value2>b</value2></a>') col from dual) x;
2 rows created.
SQL> select * from table1;
ID VAL
1 a
SQL> select * from table2;
ID VAL

How to upload data in all targets after failure
Hi,
I have process chain for uploading data from data source 0fi_gl_4 to a ODS and from there to two more ODS.
There was some special characters in data load because of which activation was not taking place. I added that special characters in RSKC and activated request manually in ODS.
Now please explain, how should I update the same request to next ODS?
We are on BW 3.5
Best Regards,
URHi
You have activated the DSO Manually right (hope the process turned to green now) if that is the case it will trigger the next event/process automatically by itself.
If it is not try to do along with that Process (DSO1) make it green or repeat delta. -
Uploading data from Excel sheet into SAP.
Dear All,
I want to upload data existing in Excel sheet into SAP. Is there any possibility with the following requirements?
1) Excel file contains serial numbers with different values.Like power(230Wp),Voc,Isc,Vmp and Imp.
2) We need to upload the same data into SAP with validations.
3) Validations are like no serial number should be repeated.
4) And depending on the Power value, the serial number should be assigned to different batches.Eg:The batches are as follows:
201 - 210
210 - 220
220 - 230
and if the Pmax of the serial number is 205.It should be assigned to batch 201 - 210 .
5) At present we are using MB31 to post the serial numbers which are existing in the flat file.

Upload data from excel sheet into md61
Hi Gurus,
Can anybody please tell me the solution like how to upload the data from excel sheet into the MD61
if u suggest me to write an ABAP code then its fine or any other way would be great
and can u also send me the abap code i would be thankful to allHi,
I can be done in 2 ways.
1. Using LSMW you can upload your MD61 demand thru Excel sheet.
2. You can use BDC to upload the demand from Excel. For this you need to take help from the ABAP. You need to record the macro usinf SHDB and the table maintenance will be taken care by the developer.
For LSMW you need not depend on your developer, as a functional consultant you can do it yourself.

Using applet to upload data?
I have a php site running with a mysql backend. Many of the site users will also be running an app on their local machines with an access db. I want to collect a lot of the same data on my site that the users already input into their app and I don't want them to have to enter it twice. Can I use an applet to connect to their access file and move data from their to my mysql db? If so, how do I get started...I have done very little java programming. Are their any example or tutorials online on how to do this?
Thanks,
EddieEddie,
I make somthing now. I create an applet and use java.net to make connection with an servlet.
First you create an URL,after you crete with url an URLConnection;
Example
java.net.URL url = new java.net URL(...);
java.net.URLConnection con = java.net.URLConnection(url);
setDoOutPut(true);// To can send arguments to url
and now you crete streams to write or read data from site.
I hope hel you
If you want give your email and send a example program....

Uploading data from MS Access into SAP R3 v3.1
Hey Gurus,
I am wondering which options I have to import data from a MS Access database into SAP R3 version3.1. For example, can I make use of the LSM Workbench?
Regards,
Pim
points are awarded if helpfullIt is much better to take the help of technical person, as directly you can upload the data from MS Access to SAP ..the thing you have to keep in mind is tell theABAPer to convert the file into a .txt one..as then only SAP will allow.
Reward Points if it helps,

Unable to Upload data from text file into BEx Analyzer selection screen
Hi,
No response from BEx Analyzer when I am trying to upload around 40,000 material from text file into BEx Analyzer selection screen using "Upload selections" options. But I am able to upload only 10,000 material from text file. I never faced same kind of issue when I am using BEx Analyzer 3.x. Please let me know I have to change any settings related to BEx or any other.

Sri Krishna Ponnada.Hello
It seems you are reaching the .NET memory limitation informed in note 1040454.
Because 3.5 does not use .NET it can work that.

Uploading data in MM01 for different material types
Hi,
I have a doubt regarding uploading the data in MM01 for different material types.
Generally in MM01, we have different views for different material types. The number of views will vary depending upon the material type that we select.
I have a scenario, where in to upload the data, I have a flat file that consists of data for different message types. So, how to upload the data in such case.
Can anyone help me on the same by providing explanation or sample code...? What would be the possible ways to upload data in such scenario.
That would be of great help.
