Using Function module HTTP_POST with SSL anonymous

Does anybody know how I can use the function module HTTP_POST called from ABAP but to use SSL communication using the anonymous client.
I think by default it uses the DEFAULT standard client for communication.
Is there anyway that the HTTP_POST function module can use a type 'G' connection in SM59.
I have tried to use the newer cl_http_client but for some reason the server I'm connecting to does not like the HTTP_POST that is sent via this mechanism. The only difference I can see is that the header fields i set using cl_http_client come out in lowercase.

Whereas using HTTP_POST I can define the header fields exactly how they should be displayed e.g.
Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset="UTF-8"

Use class CL_HTTP_CLIENT. there is a method SET_HEADER_FIELD , u can use POST in that.
It will be something like below:
data: client type ref to if_http_client.
ur code to call the webservice API (method CREATE or CREATE_BY_URL
CALL METHOD client->request->set_header_field
EXPORTING
name = '~request_method'
value = 'POST'.
It will work.

Thanks for quick inputs.
And amount is not having any delimitors.
I have checked in table T015Z and it has entries with AR as SPRAS.
All entries are having ':' at the beginning of the arabic words,and there is no single entry with ';'.
All entries with EN as SPRAS are having delimiters ';' at the end of the words.
Numbers are correctly converted to words in english,but abending in arabic.
Any idea please.

Error with quantity field:Datasource Creation Using Function Module method

Problem with DATASOURCE Creation using Function Module method :
I have created a datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE using Function Module method . The datasource creation is successfull when I remove the quantity field from the Z table . If I dont remove the quantity field from my Z table it gives an error as "Units Field WAERS for field STPRS of datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE is hidden". I am not able to remove this error . Please someone guide.

Hi,
You should add it as one of the main fields as you have added other fields and not as the currency fields...that is..it should be part of the data source and you should be able to see it in RSO2...
Also if added as i said then it will come as new field in the data source...you can either let it be there...or hide it..
also if you want to populate it then you will have to write the code for this fields as well.

How to create a Sales order with ref to Contract using Function Module BAPI_SALESDOCU_CREATEFROMDATA ?

We have a unique situation where we like change the sold-to customer of the sales order
once order has been created. These orders have been created using either by function module
BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY or using BDC (VA01, Copy with reference).
These two processes work abosolutely fine except someone might have change the sold-to
customer of the ship-to customer of the original sales order. If this the case then the new
sales order will be created with the old sold-to and with not the new sold-to.
We tried using BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_CHANGE and commit afterwards. We checked
the returned parameteres of the BAPIs and they are all successful but sold-to remains the
same old one.
Any help would be much more appreciated.

Delta with Generic Extractor using function module

Hi,
I have created an extractor using function module and it work fine (mode FULL)
It's an extractor based on the FM RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE.
In TCODE RSO2, I have specified a delta field (AEDAT).
In table ROOSOURCE, this extractor is defined by :
DELTA = AIE
EXMETHOD = F1
When I extract data in Init mode, there is no problem. But delta don't extract any entries.
When I trace with TCODE ST01, in Init mode the function module is executed but in delta mode, there is no trace of any use of this function module.
I don't know how to do to make this extractor work fine in delta mode.

The same function module i have used and succesffuly doing delta using it. So it works for both full & delta.
How ur testing it and where are you testing it for delta.
Do the delta testing through BI end. Set the
As u have already set the delta field., now Follow below steps:
1. First set the safety interval upper limit to -1, so that it will extract the delta data of 1 day back records also.
2. Please make sure wether the delta records are available or not in r/3, if there is no records to be fetched in for delta then u will not be able to track out wether delta is working or not.
3. Now do the init from BI end first. Delta initialization without data transfer. - It will give u green status with 1 dummmy record.
4. Now do the delta. It will extract the delta records.
Before that make sure that if any selection your giving in Infopackage should be met out by these delta records.

System_failure error with the function module HTTP_POST

While executing the function module "HTTP_POST" ,sometime we are getting the error "System_Failure" exception.
Can anyone tell what could be the reason for this exception,any configurations need to be done on SAP???
For this FM we are passing the RFC destination"SAPHTTPA" as one of the paratmeter and

Hi,
Check if any proxy is maitained in the client by going into transaction
SICF-> Goto-> HTTP Client Proxy -> HTTP LOG TAB.
If there is anything maintained under Host name and port, if yes you need to specify the IP address while calling FM HTTP_POST
under PROXY as
192.168.0.1:8080 where first part is IP address & 2nd part(8080) is port.
Also test connection for SAPHTTPA under SM59 to see if its properly configured.

Error in Data selection in R/3 Generic Extraction Using function Modules

Hi Friends,
I have created a a generic data source using function module to load data from PA0000 and PA0001 Tables ,Function module is working fine when i execute it indipendently and the data source is also working fine when i extract data using RSA3. it is showing correct no of records 157.
When loading data into DSO from BW (using 3.x/7.0 flows) data is comming to PSA all 157 records but in the RSMO the load status is showing yellow when i look into the step by step analysis it is
data selection successfully started
Data selection successfully ended
All Data packets completed.
are showing in red.
after and hour time load getting failed and in the error message it is showing " job terminated in source system---> Request set to red"
it is giving this message wir no RSM 78.

Error message when using function module HRIQ_TESTRESULTS_CREATE

Hi,
I need your help, I'm trying to use function module HRIQ_TESTRESULTS_CREATE to create external test results, I've used this function before without subscores, now I need to create subscores, but I get the message: "Grading scale UBID applies".
The test type EXAM_UB_ING has assigned the UBID academic scale, which has a range from 1 to 677. Test type EXAM_UB_ING has 3 subtests (grammar, listening and reading) which also have the UBID academic scale assigned.
I think this isn't a customizing problem because I can create test results with subscores using the PIQST00 transaction, the error message happens just when using the function module.

I just noticed. You are populating SUBTESTSCALE_ID in subtest result structure.That's the reason it's throwing this error. it is trying to match Scale ID from test with value in sub test result scale ID.

Step1-Create a table structure which you need to create same as the fields you require in you data source.
Step 2-create a custom abap program and inside that call the Client abap program with the selections as required and save the result data in some table
Step 3-create infoset query.In the infoset query give your table structure name and program name which you developed.
Step4-create data source on top of that query
