What is it you are trying to do? Restore an iCloud backup? Back up to iCloud?

This advice will sound like a joke or prank, but believe me it worked on my iPhone 5 and my daughter's. The lens mechanism got stock on each of our iPhones. We found a post on these message boards that said to hold the iPhone about 6 inches above a table or counter top and drop it so that it lands flat on it's back. Now try the camera ...Fixed! It has been more than six months now and neither of our iPhones have ever experienced the problem again.

The Mac software - iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD are not the best with the Ken Burns effect (zoom in/out effect), so you might want to minimize that effect; also, if your subjects are wearing stripes for instance, that will have an effect if you zoom. There is better software available for slideshows; however, I do not know of any that is free (and does a good job). I've used Photo to Movie for some time; it does a fine job even in HD, but you have to pay for it. I use iDVD extensively, but only to add a menu, theme, special effects, etc. and then to burn it.

Check the "More like this" menu on the right side of this page for more tips. Basically make sure you have good light. Photos taken in brighter light should be much clearer. Like other cameras when taken in lower light conditions the camera must compensate for the lower light by opening the aperture and/or leave the shutter open longer. You created the slideshow using the built-in Ken Burns effect in iPhoto or iMovie? I've never found that to be up to my expectations; additionally, if the people or objects in the pictures have certain designs (in their clothes), using movement can blur them. I use Photo to Movie myself - to me it creates the smoothest movement in slideshows. Another possibility is the size of your images: did you increase or decrease their original size? And when you encoded it, what settings did you use? I use the Share > Quicktime > Expert settings and then choose these options:
I've found that these settings result in the most lossless conversion. After the new .mov file is saved to the desktop, I then add it to iDVD after creating a customized menu and theme.

Facebook, Yahoo and YouTube load as HTML (I think is what it's called?). There are no pictures, just links with little boxes underneath them. My profile picture on Google is blurry. Overall, Firefox is running slow and awkward. I tried re-installing it, but that did not fix it. Firefox help site, and other random websites are working just fine.
Please halp! I really don't like using IE.
