Using LCR in C program

How can I extract information from LCR in a C program? My C program dequeues LCR's produced by the capture process and needs to extract some fields from them. Thanks.

  • How to find out top 10 records from the R/3 using Java code (WD Program)

    Hi Experts,
    I have used Java Web Dynpro program to fetch records from the backend. Following code helps me and fetches record. As per the customer reqirement, we have to fetch only top 10 records (Actual Cost) from the backend. So I have to modify the Java code. How I can do so? Please help.

    Dear SDN Users,
    This is how I resolved the issue.
    1) Requested ABAPer to provide me sorted data. The data has been sorted in descending order of actual_cost.
    2) After that I used following code. This resolved the issue.
         if (wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().size()>10){
         IPublicCostcnt.IGraphDataElement categoryElement;
              for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
              categoryElement = wdContext.createGraphDataElement();
              categoryElement.setCostElement(""+ wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getDescription());
              categoryElement.setActualCost(wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getActual_Cost().toString());
              categoryElement.setPlannedCost(wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getPlan_Cost().toString());
              wdContext.nodeGraphData().addElement(categoryElement);
         if (wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().size()<=10){
         if (wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().size()>0){
         IPublicCostcnt.IGraphDataElement categoryElement;
              for (int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().size(); i++) {
              categoryElement = wdContext.createGraphDataElement();
              categoryElement.setCostElement(""+ wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getDescription());
              categoryElement.setActualCost(wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getActual_Cost().toString());
              categoryElement.setPlannedCost(wdContext.nodeItab_Final1().getItab_Final1ElementAt(i).getPlan_Cost().toString());
              wdContext.nodeGraphData().addElement(categoryElement);

    You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

    We used 4.3 as an effective tool for thesis production but in many ways it has become kind of a simplistic joke. Sad indeed and I wish there was some evidence they were remotely concerned. PeterBreis0807's response of "No" is spot on. We will continue to use 4.3 as long as it works as a time-saving substitute for Word.

  • How to get list of custom objects used in abap report program?

    Hi friends,
    I have a requirement in which I have to scan the entire abap report and retrieve list of custom objects used in it for example custom tables, data elements, structures, table types etc,. Is there any provision in SAP like fuction modules to do this functionality?  As of now I am coding everything manually where so many possibilities are there for all kinds of objects. Provide your answers and suggestions...
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    The best way to do this is environment analysis. Follow the steps:
    1. Open se38, type in the program name (don't click on on display/change or create button, stay on first screen only)
    2. Click on environment analysis button (hot key SHIFT+F4)
    3. It will throw a pop-up, which will ask for type of object you want to see, which are linked /used by this program. select all (or may be if you are only interested in Tables, then select table only)
    4. Hit 'Enter'
    You will get the full list of all objects used in this report program. Just note down the one which starts with Z or Y and that's it.
    Cheers,

    I have a Mac computer and am trying to use a Photoshop CS4 program, but after accessing my desktop files through Adobe Bridge and clicking twice on any of the pictures to get into Photoshop, instead of entering photoshop, I get on the lefthand side an enlarged version of the picture with red, yellow and green buttons on top. Any suggestions on what is wrong, or what can be corrected ?

    And there is the problem. Your pictures are opening up in Mac's own Preview app.
    Do you want all your jpegs to open in Photoshop, or only when you are in Bridge?
    Selecting a program to open a certain file is called: File Type Association.
    You can choose this at the MacOS level or the Bridge level.
    Here's how to do both:
    Either MacOS or Bridge has the wrong app associated with the jpeg. Let's start with MacOS
    Close Bridge and Preview. Select one of your jpegs, and press Cmd i, That will bring up the file info window.
    Go down to the "Open with" section of File Info.
    Choose Photoshop CS4 and click on the Change All... button to apply this choice to every jpeg on your Mac.
    Then open Bridge and see if double-clicking opens it in Photoshop.
    Now that means all jpegs on your Mac will open in Photoshop.  Maybe you don't want that.
    You can set your jpegs to open in Preview when Bridge is closed.
    When you open Bridge, there is Preferences > File Type Associations where you can direct Bridge to open the jpegs in Photoshop when you are viewing in Bridge.

    I have just purchased a used MacBook Pro. Should I use a virus protection program on this computer? I can get Norton for free through my cable provider. Thanks, funkro

    See my Mac Malware Guide.
    This issue is more complex than some of the responses you have gotten are indicating. You definitely should avoid Norton, but there actually IS malware out there, and all anti-virus software is NOT "snake oil." Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise, as they don't know what they're talking about.
    Although you should be able to do without anti-virus software just fine, there are some perfectly good reasons to install it and some good anti-virus apps to use if you decide to do so. Further, even if you do avoid anti-virus software, you need to understand what the threats are so you don't end up thinking you're totally safe and do something you shouldn't.

  • Creating dll, lib, fp's to be used in other CVI programs

    Disclaimer: I am a self-taught CVI (and C) programmer in which I learned from examples, NI forums, and google
    Main question: What is the proper way to create a dll, lib, and fp to be used in other CVI programs?  What I am doing is creating a "wrapper class" called PowerSupplies (and other wrapper classes) that takes arguments from the user and call the correct functions based on the power supply model type.
    Inside my Power Supplies project, I have included each power supply's function panel.  In the C file, I have added my functions and include file.  for example, here's one
    int _VI_FUNC Supply_InitSupply (int devs, char *resourceName, int IDQuery, int resetDevice, int *instrumentID) {
    switch (devs) {
    case AG663XXA:
    return ag663xxa_init(resourceName,IDQuery,resetDevice,instrumentID);
    case HPE364XA:
    return hpe364xa_init (resourceName, IDQuery, resetDevice, instrumentID); //Has Voltage and Current
    return -1;
    and then of course at the bottom, there resides the DllMain and DllEntryPoint functions.  What the heck are these, and am I suppose to rename these?  I ask because I created another wrapper classes with DMM's and I get the Multiply Defined Symbol Error with these two functions when using together in a separate program.
    Additionally, I have created a header file, which can be included in other CVI programs to know what functions there are.  I noticed I could "Generate Prototypes" after the fact and wasn't sure if this was the correct way or not.  My header file is below:
    #ifndef __PowerSupplies_H__
    #define __PowerSupplies_H__
    #ifdef __cplusplus
    extern "C" {
    #endif
    //==============================================================================
    // Include files
    #include "cvidef.h"
    #include "ivi.h"
    //==============================================================================
    // Constants
    #define POWER_SUPPLY_ENUM_FACTOR 200
    typedef enum
    AG663XXA = 200,
    HPE364XA
    } power_supply_type;
    static IviStringValueTable power_supply_table =
    {AG663XXA, "AG-663##X"},
    {HPE364XA, "HP-E364#A"}
    //==============================================================================
    // Types
    /************** Static Function Declarations **************/
    /************** Global Variable Declarations **************/
    /************** Global Function Declarations **************/
    int _VI_FUNC Supply_InitSupply(int devs,char *resourceName, int IDQuery, int resetDevice,int *instrumentID);
    /*commented out long list of functions for this forum's sake*/
    int _VI_FUNC Supply_Close(int devs, int instrumentID);
    int __stdcall DllMain(HINSTANCE hinstDLL,DWORD fdwReason, LPVOID lpvReserved);
    int __stdcall DllEntryPoint(HINSTANCE hinstDLL,DWORD fdwReason, LPVOID lpvReserved);
    #ifdef __cplusplus
    #endif
    #endif /* ndef __PowerSupplies_H__ */
    I then have built it as a static library and dynamic link library.  I then generated a Function Panel from the header file with Prefix Supply_ and Qualifier as _VI_FUNC.
    All worked nice and dandy, copied files to appropriate places in the IVI directory.
    In my other CVI program in which uses these "wrapper classes", I have included the function panel's that I created.
    Well with the error i mentioned above about Multiple Defined Symbol, I have come here to figure out what went wrong.
    What are the DllMain and entry point functions?
    Is my c and h files created correctly with proper prefixs?  I tried extern once, and got errors I believe.
    Does the function panel use the .lib files? Am I going about this correctly or is there an easier/more efficient way?
    Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks!

    There's info in the CVI help on how to make DLL,s in CVI.
    There's quite a bit more to it than you might imagine at first.
    I've pasted a DllMain that I wrote.
    Some key issues:
    You can put a type library into your DLL, that way if you add the DLL as a reference in Visual Studio, VS will know the prototype without your having to bring in a header file or import library of any kind.
    CVI created DLL's are not "active" DLL's and should not be registered with regsvr32, this will just make a mess.
    You can tell CVI what you're exporting in a couple of different ways, I always use "symbols marked for exports"  and use the macros DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL, but NI says using a header file is preferable, I forget why.
    The DLL search path is a wonderful thing - it's easy to wind up using a different copy of the DLL than you intended due to the way windows searches for the DLL.  Different versions of windows have slightly different rules.  Some allow redirection to help you manage the search path.
    CVI will not automatically switch between debug and release versions of the import library - you have to call out the correct version in your project and link it to any executable using it.
    You can do "dynamic" loading / linking of a CVI DLL without binding to an import library using GetProcAddress function, but it's easier to use the import library.
    A DllMain isn't necessary but is good practice.
    Good luck.

  • What do you use to write Java programs?

    Hi. Do you mind if I ask you what do you use to write your programs in Java? I am a student and we are using NetBeans IDE 3.6. I know it is a bit old but the tutor says we must stick to that one. What is best for writing Java programs?
    Thanks.

    Do you think those things will make things easier or is it more complex?If you're learning on your own, you'd better use something more up to date (most probably better interface, childhood bugs fixed, and better support on the Internet).
    If you're in a classroom, or a training room, you'd better use what the instructor tells, or at least what other students/trainees use. Easier to get help and share tips if everyone has the same setup.
    Good luck learning Java.

  • 'Last Used On' column in Programs & Features (appwiz.cpl) not showing information for any installed apps

    Running Windows 7 Premium 64 bit
    steps to reproduce.  type appwiz.cpl in search window to open Programs & Features window
    change your view to 'details' (detailed view)
    right click on column headers & click 'More...', scroll down & add 'Last Used On' column to view
    no installed apps have a 'Last Used On' value

    Same here. The Last Used On column itself isn't enabled by default. Perhaps Microsoft dropped the feature for performance.
    <quoting Raymond Chen [MS]>
    In order to get the "Last Used" and "Frequency" values, Add/Remove Programs needs to know the name of the EXE so it can ask the Start menu "Hey, how often did the user run this program, and when was the last time it happened?"
    Notice that there are no clues in the registration above as to the identity of this EXE file.
    So Add/Remove Programs starts guessing. It goes through all the programs on your Start menu and compares their names with the display name of the uninstallable item. It looks for Start menu items which share at least two words with the words in the DisplayName.
    For example, if there were a Start menu item called "Pretty Decent Windows Program", this would count as a two-word match ("Windows" and "Program").
    It then takes the one with the most matches and decides, "Okay, I guess this is it." Suppose for the sake of illustration that the best match is indeed "Pretty Decent Windows Program.lnk", which is a shortcut to "C:\Program Files\LitWare\Decent Program\Decent.exe". Add/Remove Programs would decide that "Awesome Program for Windows" should get the icon for "Pretty Decent Windows Program.lnk", that the frequency of use and most-recently-used information for "C:\Program Files\LitWare\Decent Program\Decent.exe" will be displayed for "Awesome Program for Windows".

    It's nice that MS has dropped this feature in Windows 7.
