Using Open Picture Window Fever extension ver. 4.0.1

I have set up a page in a web site I am building (I am not a pro!) with about 20 thumbnails and added the Open Picture Window Fever extension to allow the user to see a larger image when they click a thumbnail. Here is the script:

The problem has been that sometimes for no reason I can fathom, the path to the larger image suddenly gets changes to 'undefined'. This has happened a couple of times but the other day after I had finished all the images and tested it live, every large image reference had been changed to 'undefined'. So I had to redo the Fever extesnion for each one. The only thing I recall doing after I had tested the page live was that I Put the entire site to make sure that all changes I had made to various pages were uploaded.
Can anyone suggest what might have caused this problem? Also is there another extension that I can try that does the same thing?

"Open Picture Window Fever" not working properly

I've used "Open Picture Window Fever" successfully until
recently. After adding the behavior, and viewing my page in a
browser, the images do not open using "Fever." When I check the
behavior specs to make sure the dimensions are there, "image name,
width and height" are replaced with switched info. For instance,
"Image Name" will now have one of the correct window dimensions,
"Width" will have another dimension and "Height" now has part of
the title or original "Image Name." If I browse a second time for
the image, it seems to work o.k. however I'm working with pages
that have many images and going through "Fever" twice for each
image is a drag.
I've searched for a new download for my Mac. Forum writers
suggested

for other users but it doesn't download for me giving me scrambled
text. Might be only for PC.
I've also trashed preferences thinking that might help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using "Open Browser Window" behaviour

In IE7 the page selected in my behavior appears on a full
browser screen, then a blank screen (in the size specified in the
behavior) comes up. Works fine in IE6 and Foxfire. Anyone have
suggestions?

troubles locally is by (its) design. You can get around the
local issue
by adding a "mark of the web" to the page (see

Open Browser Window Location

I use "open browser window" for dynanic display of pictures and it normally opens a window at the top/left side of the screen.
I know there are tools where you can specify the location of such a window, but I don't use them: top/left is OK for me.
Strangely enough, the same window opens at the center of the screen on my wife's notebook. It doesn't seem to be a Dreamweaver option, but most probably a windows (IE) option.
We both use Windows 7 with same version of Internet Explorer (8.0.7600). Can anybody explain this behaviour?

Thanks for the responses. The java script command worked
well. To avoid IE issues, I made the link like this: #!. That makes
it pop up right there. The open browser command was done on the a
tag for the image (the original # place holder). How would you use
a "real" href with the return false command? Can you give me an
example?

Why does Firefox not open my windows and tabs from last time until I have tried starting 3 or 4 times?

I have this problem with opening Firefox:
My Startup options are set to "When Firefox starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time"
However, each time I start Firefox, by clicking the icon in the Taskbar, it opens with a single blank tab.
I repeat this using "Open New Window" and when I have up to 3 windows, all with single blank tabs open, I close them all. Once more I use "Open New Window" which only then opens with my windows and tabs from last time.
Naturally, this induces initial panic each time, because I dread the thought of losing all my current tabs.
What is going on here?
How can I fix it?

This started happening to me with the upgrade to v30. Previously, new windows did the proper thing of showing previous tabs/windows.
I have history on, not in private mode, and have cleared cache.

I used Computer Associates ver.7.0.0.117 to clear temp files and cache. Firefox won't open a window since though it shows in processes.

System: Toshiba Portege M750, Vista 32-bit SP2,4GB RAM
I've been using Firefox up until last night when I shut down. This morning I did a cache cleaning using CA Internet Security Suite, ver 7.0.0.117. Firefox will not open a window, though it does show in the Processes list of Task Manager.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled ver 6 from the web twice with the same results.
Firefox has had a tendency to hang (never finding a new website, i.e. busy icon revolves endlessly) when left open over several hybernation cycles.

No web site expert here but I would suggest changing the .m4v to .mp4 and ask one of those friends if they still have problems. .m4v is something I always associate with iTunes and don't really see it used elsewhere.

I recently bought a new HP computuer and uploaded Window 8.1. I then transfered photo files from old computer to new computer using a portable storage drive.
When trying to view the photos, a message pops up showing a file path...and the message 'the remote procedure call failed'. Photos are in jpeg format.

What program you use to view these photos? Choose another app to view these photos
for a test.
This issue only occurred when you view photo? What is the result if we connect the
portable storage drive to other computer (if possible)?
Run sfc/scannow to check and fix if there are some missing or corrupted system files.
Check the event viewer to see the detailed information of this issue.

Multiple problems: can't open two windows, browser doesn't close although window disappears, and after working for a while I loose my ability to cut and paste or use drop down arrows

Maybe two weeks ago I discovered that I could no longer open two windows at a time (I can still open multiple tabs). I am also having problems with cutting and pasting, which is crucial to my on-line job. Plus, when I exit Firefox, it doesn't always shut down, so then when you go to re-open, of course, it won't (unless you go into process and turn it off). I have re-installed multiple times and I have also used restore. Nothing seems to be fixing this and I really, really don't want to use IE, especially for work.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

How do i open pictures in this window?

Easiest way is to browse that file in Bridge and right click and Select "Open in Camera Raw" or just double click to open(only for raw files) and it will open in a separate Camera Raw window.
You can do that same from PS as well using Filter > Camera Raw Filter, as already mentioned by Warunicorn.

Crash when opening windows in extension...

Hello everybody.
I have encountered a strange issue when trying to open a window from within my extension on OSX: It seems that whenever i try to open a "spark" window from Photoshop CS6, it instantly crashes. The same extension works flawlessly in InDesign.
I have tested it on OSX v. 10.7.5 and 10.8.2 - I haven't tested on Windows, so I don't know if it's a Mac only issue.
I have tried to compile a minimal test case to illustrate the problem - using Extension Builder (2.0.0.62-32314) I created a new project targeting Photoshop and InDesign CS6. I have pasted the contents of the extension and a simple window below.
Now - when i execute this in InDesign, the window opens and displays fine when I click the "Open window"-button - but executing it in Photoshop causes a crash. If don't set the window type, I can debug and see a different kind of error (Error #3200: Cannot perform operation on closed window) and still no window is shown. And again: only in Photoshop...
So: Have I run into a bug introduced in the latest versions of PS/Extension Builder? I'm pretty sure this used to work in earlier versions (with mx:Window rather than s:Window)? Or is there any other way to open these kinds of native windows, that Photoshop might be happier about?

Same problem for me.
This happens only on Mac from version 13.0.4 Photoshop.
It doesn't works with mx:Windows and s:Windows.
I tried with Extension builder version 1.5.0 and 2.0.0.4 but the problem persists.
