Using table comparison can we use multiple tables as source?

Using table comparison can we use multiple tables as source?
Thank you very much for the helpful info.

Table Comparison
1) Input Data coming in
2) Comparison table (table to which the data is compared)
3) Output (input rows with respective opcodes based on the comparison result of input dataset with the comparison table)
If your question is whether table comparison can accept union/join of multiple table sources, you can achieve by using merge/query transforms and then feeding to table comparison. Here, you have to be careful about choosing the primary keys inside table comparison

I have over 200 photos in my book and it was accepted. There is a limit on each widget though. The interactive widget seems to have a limit of around 30 or 40.

  • External Table which can handle appending multiple csv files dynamic

I need an external table which can handle appending multiple csv files' values.
But the problem I am having is : the number of csv files are not fixed.
I can have between 2 to 6-7 files with the suffix as current_date. Lets say it will be like my_file1_aug_08_1.csv, my_file1_aug_08_2.csv, my_file1_aug_08_3.csv etc. and so on.
I can do it by following as hardcoding if I know the number of files, but unfortunately the number is not fixed and need to something dynamically to inject with a wildcard search of file pattern.
    CREATE TABLE my_et_tbl
      my_field1 varchar2(4000),
      my_field2 varchar2(4000)
    ORGANIZATION EXTERNAL
      (  TYPE ORACLE_LOADER
         DEFAULT DIRECTORY my_et_dir
         ACCESS PARAMETERS
           ( RECORDS DELIMITED BY NEWLINE
            FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
MISSING FIELD VALUES ARE NULL  )
         LOCATION (UTL_DIR:'my_file2_5_aug_08.csv','my_file2_5_aug_08.csv')
    REJECT LIMIT UNLIMITED
    NOPARALLEL
NOMONITORING;Please advice me with your ideas. thanks.

Well, you could do it dynamically by constructing location value:
    SQL> CREATE TABLE emp_load
      2      (
      3       employee_number      CHAR(5),
      4       employee_dob         CHAR(20),
      5       employee_last_name   CHAR(20),
      6       employee_first_name  CHAR(15),
      7       employee_middle_name CHAR(15),
      8       employee_hire_date   DATE
      9      )
    10    ORGANIZATION EXTERNAL
    11      (
    12       TYPE ORACLE_LOADER
    13       DEFAULT DIRECTORY tmp
    14       ACCESS PARAMETERS
    15         (
    16          RECORDS DELIMITED BY NEWLINE
    17          FIELDS (
    18                  employee_number      CHAR(2),
    19                  employee_dob         CHAR(20),
    20                  employee_last_name   CHAR(18),
    21                  employee_first_name  CHAR(11),
    22                  employee_middle_name CHAR(11),
    23                  employee_hire_date   CHAR(10) date_format DATE mask "mm/dd/yyyy"
    24                 )
    25         )

do I need to create another account with a different email account
Yes, the email addresses need to be unique to each device. You may use the same Apple ID on each device, but the email address used by each device needs to be different.

You might want to ask you carrier that question.  I can tell you that when I gave my old iPhone 4 to my wife we were able to get my old sim card that was in the 4 reprogrammed with the wife's phone number.  The AT&T store didn't charge us to do this.

Have you downloaded and installed an App Store app that you downloaded free from some website instead of from the App Store? If so, that's a stolen app, and you need to delete it.

All ISP-provided equipment is junk. You could get a decent router and connect it to the Verizon router in bridge mode. It should cost about $ 30.

  • In ER DIagram using toad( how can i link two tables)

    Hi,
Any Toad expert can guide me that how can i link two tables in Toad in ER Diagram to show the relationship between two tables.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I hope there is foreign key relationship in tables, if so then you can click on "Find table dependencies" icon which will draw lines between them.

  • How can I sort multiple tables on a single page as if they were one continuous table?

I have a single narrow column of numbers that cover multiple pages. I would like to do either of the following: break that long single column into multiple colums that fit on one page and are still able to be sorted in that arrangement OR sort the long column as it is (spread out over multiple pages) and then break that long sorted column down into multiple segments that can be placed onto a single page.
I have been sorting the long single column, then copy and pasting sections from the column onto a new page so that I can print them on a single page.
I am hoping there is a more elegant method to do this.

    Hi Walt,
Sorting is one of the things that changed between Numbers '09 and Numbers 3. If you are on Mountain Lion I want to assume you are using '09. Is that true?
This will work in '09 and 3. Table one is a single column with entries 1-89.
    A2 ==INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW())
    B2 =INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW()+35)
    C2 =INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW()+70)
    The formulas are filled down.
You can adjust the formulas in B and C to reflect how many rows fit on your page.

  • Can't get multiple tables to align

I've got multiple tables that won't align. When I zoom in on the document the left and right edges of the tables aren't perfectly aligned. It's noticeable when I print the document. It's also noticeable when converting to a PDF and printing. The edges are off by just millimeters. I can email doc if anyone wants to have a look.
    Thanks in advance.

Pages > Preferences > Ruler Preferences > Alignment Guides > Turn ON both "Show guides at object center" and "Show guides at object edges"
Select all Tables (Command-Click) Pages > Align Objects > Left
Select individual Table that is out of alignment (now on the right hand side) and drag by selection handle until alignment guides show it is aligned, then release, repeat with additional tables.

  • Crystal Reports - ECC Tables - Row level security on Multiple tables

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing Crystal Reports directly reporting on ECC Tables.  Lot of information on row-level security has been provided by experts Ingo Hilgefort, Don Williamsand Mike Seblani, but not related to multiple tables or Wild cards
    Requirement:
Crystal Users should have access to ALL the tables in ECC, but restricted by Company code, plant, Sales Organization, Purchasing Organization fields to what ever table it applies to. Example: MARC table should be restricted by Plant, BSEG table should be restricted by Plant and company code, GLT0 table should be restricted by Company code..etc
Users should ONLY see their Organization related data.
    Solution Developed:
    1. We created custom authorization object with BUKRS and WERKS
    2. In  /CRYSTAL/RLS  we used Wild Cards *, +  rather than specific table  and referenced the custom authorization object with =BUKRS and =WERKS  in the Field Value
    3. Enabled global lock
    4. Custom Authorization object was added to user-profiles with corresponding restrictions
    *Observation:*
    1. This security works when a crystal report was developed on a ECC table which has both BUKRS and WERKS
    2. This setup DOES NOT work when a crystal report developed on a table with either one of BUKRS or WERKS
Example: Does not work on MARC table - error message "Database connection error: /CRYSTAL/OSQL_EXECUTE_QUERY Message: field T0~BUKRS" unknown"
Does not work on GLT0 table - error message "Database connection error: /CRYSTAL/OSQL_EXECUTE_QUERY Message: field T0~WERKS unknown"
    Trouble Shooting:
In the "where clause" of the internal ABAP code generated for MARC, system is checking for BUKRS - which  should not be the expected result
ANYTHING WRONG IN THE SECURITY SETUP ? PLEASE ADVICE
Note: Document "BusinessObjects XI Release 2, Integration Kit for SAP, Installation Guide" does not talk much about this multiple table restriction. Any other document to be referred to ?

I'm not sure how that would help; by using the Faculty_ID Session Variable I can identify the CRN and Term of all courses a faculty member is teaching. But I don't think that has to do with the problem I am having?
