Using webcam to direct if music plays

Question

Hi all,
I am using Flash CS3, and what I would like to do is relatively simple, but I am not that familiar with code and therefore would love some advice or help. I want to call up the webcam and make the camera's motions be tracked so that a song will play if there is movement from the camera. If there is no movement, the music stops. So far, I was able to call the camera to the stage and let me know when there is no movement, and insert the song on the timeline, but I don't know where to go from there.
Here is my code:

camera.setMotionLevel(5, 1000);
camera.addEventListener(ActivityEvent.ACTIVITY, activityHandler);

Take a look at this list of Some Applications You Can Use With iSight. See the links for each individual application of interest for their features, system requirements, and terms of use.
Most of these apps will work with webcams other than iSight, too. Instructions on how to use each application comes from its documentation, so select the app that best balances the features you need against the ease of use you want.
Depending on what you want to do with your "live feed", applications from the Webcam Apps or surveillance or Nanny cam sections will probably do what you want with the least setup effort. If your specific use is for security monitoring, one of these apps may meet your needs:
• EvoCam
• SecuritySpy
• KeyCamX
For professional-level webcasting of live streaming video, Apple's QuickTime Broadcaster and QuickTime Streaming Server can do it all. However, their advanced features may require some study unless you are an experienced user.
