UWL - Change standard buttons location

Hello Experts,
Is it possible to copy/change the location of the UWL buttons?
I need to set the buttons below the table (see attached screenshot).

In the past I have come across discussions scenarios that deal with moving the position of user decision buttons. I have outlined some SAP Help Threads below for your reference and review:

A point to highlight here is be sure to perform a backup of the XML files. This will allow you to revert back changes if needed.

</style>Radio buttons are NOT nice things to style! None of the browsers seem to support padding on them, and height is all over the place as well.
As the .radiolook CSS didn't seem to be applied on your example page I left it off in my experiments. You'll have to adjust the 240/220 values to accommodate the extra size introduced by its margins, borders and padding.

Move/remove/change RSS button from next to refresh sign (Safari 4.0.4)

How to move/remove/change RSS-button location from next to refresh sign as I'm wasting alot of time everytime when trying to hit that refresh button?
I know I can use keyboard to refresh a webpage, but I really like the easy to use stop/refresh button a-la Firefox (after combining them) in the left side next to the "previous/next page" buttons, and I really hate that RSS appearing on all those websites which provides RSS. I don't use RSS and I don't want to see it when browsing and using Safari.
I hope there is a way to doing that, otherwise I have no choice but switching back to Firefox..

but the "debug" menu doesn't appear after running "defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1" command in terminal. I have Safari 4.0.4
But the idea is great: now I only want to disable RSS.

UWL - Change 'Add Memo' button location

Hello Experts,
I'm using UWL in my portal.
I added the option 'addMemo', it works but can I change the default location of the button? (for example: move it next to the decision buttons)
If yes, how do I do that?
Portal version is 7.01 SP6.

Hi,
I highly doubt that you can change the location of the memo functionality. But if I were you I would probably check if I could add a custom action names "Add memo" and use handler "addmemo" for it. So in XML it would look something like this:
<Action name="addmemo" handler="addmemo">
I have no idea if this will work, but at least when you add additional custom actions to your task in UWL, they will be displayed as buttons next to the "standard actions". And if you can launch the standard add memo functionality (=handler addmemo) with your own action, this could solve your problem. Probably worth to try.

Change text for standard button

Anyone has an idea of how to change the text of a standard button, e.g. the Go button of the advanced search header.

In your first post you asked about ALV and now about non-ALV...
So about ALV you have the Excel download by default and you are able to change the text.
About non-ALV download I think you have to use the method: cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response.

Hello Antonio,
Just hide the standard buttons and create your own one outside. If it's just regarding some probably missing translation, best is to go add the missing translation using se61.

I live in france but i am english i have french bank accounts that is all ok but how can i get my account to work in english i change the button at the bottom to english but then my account wont work because because it wont change from french all i want

cannot operate my i tunes account properly i am english and have a french bank account
if i change the button at the bottom and put in english then i go onto i tunes i cannot log in it answers in french
and it keeps rejecting my password even if i go to i tunes and change it
in other words i want my account in english and to pay with my french bank account but it will not it seems allow me to do this

How to add Change Layout Button to ALV Toolbar?

Hi All,
I am using a SAP GUI STATUS 'STANDARD' that has almost all the funcationality needed except for the change layout button.
I have tried changing the GUI STATUS to 'STANDARD_FULLSCREEN' which has the button I am looking for but it does not show up.
What am I missing to have the 'Change Layout' Button show on the toolbar?

Change Quiz Buttons

Should be as simple as a nursery rhyme, but I can't make the
gray buttons go away on a quiz slide. If I go to a button's
properties and change it to an image button, scroll until I find
one approriately colored for my presentation and click OK, the
button shape/color changes. However, I need it to say Submit,
Clear, Back, etc. Since those buttons in my color are not in the
standard list, I think I have to create a transparent label and set
it on top of the colorful button.
1. The label won't go on top.
2. There has to be an easier way to do this. Should I be
deleting all the standard buttons and inserting a colorful image,
merging with the background, applying text, merging that, and
placing a transparent button over the lot of them? If so, how does
Clear work?

If you do a bit of Googling, you can come up with some free
to use on-line button creator tools. Kevin Siegel's last Captivate
newsletter lists a site called
ButtonGenerator.com as
one to use.
Personally, I tend to opt for specialized software. Two of my
favorites are Xara WebStyle
Xara.com and Vista
Buttons
Vista-Buttons.com.

Movieclip - Button - Location on stage

Fellow Gurus!
I am using Flash 8.
I rendered some boxes on the stage. One is for a menu and
another is for graphics. The idea is to have a picture pop-up in
the graphic box whenever one passes a mouse over a button in the
menu (which is in the menu box).
I have added movie clips to each button’s mouse-over.
The movie clips contain a picture (at least for now). Thus when you
pass a mouse over the button, a picture pops up. That is the easy
part.
Now, I could simply reposition the movie clip until it
appears within the graphic box. My problem is – I have a
bunch of buttons and they may or may not be placed in the menu in
exact positions. If I were to change a button’s position, the
movie clip’s position is relative to the button and not the
stage thus it would have to be repositioned as well.
Therefore, the pop-up pictures within the movie clips which
are within the buttons must all pop-up in the graphic box
regardless of where I place or reposition the buttons.
Let’s say I have the graphic box located at x=500 and y
= 120.
Let’s say the button’s name is First_btn.
Let’s say the movie clip’s name is OneTest_mc.
And, I can bring it on stage in order to add an instance name
of perhaps TestOne.
Now, I have looked at localToGlobal and globalToLocal. I am
not sure which one work for my situation.
I am assuming that I can add AS2 to the movie clip’s
(OneTest_mc) timeline – if that is not where it goes - let me
know.
I have looked at the various scripts on the Internet and all
they do is confuse me, namely because they are rotating graphics,
etc. In another words, they complicate the examples. What I need is
a script to add to each button/movie clip to make them all place
the pop-up graphic in the box regardless of where the button is
located.
However, I do not just want a piece of script. I would
appreciate some explanation of the code so I can learn from it
– not just giving me a fish but teaching me how to fish.

I am not sure if I get this.
First of all, I am no sure if it is globalToLocal or
localToGlobal that I need to use – or maybe you are
discussing something else entirely.

I read and reread the above answer. However, I do not have
enough of a handle on Action Script to see the logic.

might have said. I am assuming that I should figure out how to get
the button’s x & y no matter where it is placed –
and not by reading them as numbers. I guess I need a hint –
how do I capture the button’s x & y coordinates if they
are changeable?
I think this captures the x & y for the button –
have I got it right?

Keywords for standard buttons

Hello Experts,
In Table Maintenance Generator, I want to add event 'Before delete data' . When user wants to delete data using Table Maintenance Generator, it should pop up for confirmation. If user clicks on 'yes' button then it should delete the record and if user clicks on 'No' button it should come back to TMG without deleting record.
How to give events for standard delete button ? Is their any keyword which represents standard delete button? If their is keywords for all standard buttons then it is appreciable if someone share link from where I can get keywords for all standard buttons.

Standard buttons in ALV

Table of changed standard objects

hello all
i am looking for a table in SAP which contains all the changed standard objects.
I have just a old copy of that table in Excel, but I cant locate it in SAP.
The fields of the table:
