V15 XML Loader Access To Path Not Allowed

We are just starting to test our V15 sandbox system that has just been upgraded.  We have a transaction that works fine in our older environment (V12.2) but the same transaction fails in V15. The first sequence in the transaction is an XML Loader that tries to load and XML configuration file from the local MII server where the transaction is running.  The action fails with a Access to path /directoryNameHere/fileNameHere.xml is not allowed error.
As far as we can tell, all of the filesystem/OS level permissions (Linux in our case) are the same as they are in our old environment.
Other than file/directory permissions, any ideas why this might fail?  Has anything changed in V15 that would potentially impact this?
We are not specifying a Credential Store alias (listed as optional).
Thank you,
Mike

At some point a 'Default File Path' parameter was added as a system property and it's value may be causing your issue.
System Properties - SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence - SAP Library

DefaultFilePath
The path on the file system (along with the subfolders) used to store files that need to be accessed by the following workbench actions for read/write operations:
File I/O
CreateDirectory
CreateZipArchive
DeleteFile
GetFileList
WriteFile
FTPInput

Note
Access to the files under the previous path (and the subfolders) will be lost if the path is changed.
If the path is empty, you can access the file system, provided the file system provides read/write permissions. The same holds good for prior releases.

    From what I understand, it has nothing to do with your JSP and all to do with the XML it's supposed to parse. It sounds malformed. Check the first tag.

  • Org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Reference is not allowed in prolog

    Hi,
    I have been using DocumentBuilder to parse an xml string in our application but now came up with this exception:
    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Reference is not allowed in prolog
    When I looked at the xml data, I found that it does not have a prolog in it. I also found that the data contains end of line character ""&#xD;""
    " in it.
    This the xml to be parsed: (Qutoted them to view the unicodes in xml)
    "<dc:dc xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">
    <dc:title xml:lang="en">Test metadata</dc:title>
    <dc:language>en</dc:language>

    <dc:identifier>http://gg.com/</dc:identifier>
    <dc:subject>Medicine and Dentistry</dc:subject>
    </dc:dc>"
    And in the class, I used,
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory =  DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    factory.setNamespaceAware(true);
    DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
    Document document = builder.parse(file);I can not change the xml data to be parsed as the application gets this data from other targets through a web service.
    So, can anyone provide any suggestions to solve this issue please?
    Thanks,
    Shiv.

    I have tried various options by
    1. factory.setIgnoringElementContentWhitespace(true);
    2. factory.setValidation(false);
    But, none of them seems to work.
    Could anyone please giv me atleast a gist abt where to look about?
    Cheers,

    Hi Satyabrata,
    Are you using NWDI for development, or local development?
    I had the same problem when using local development components. I read somewhere in the documentation that for this you have to use the NWDI.
    Now I am using NWDI and this is working correctly.

  • FTP file adapter: file access permissions do not allow the specified action

    Hi,
    I have the File to JDBC scenario. The file is extracted in AL11 folder of the Sending (BW) system.
    The folder is FTP enabled and the Unix admin says he has given full authorization to both the folder and ftp user.
    But in the File CC I get the following error "Could not process due to error: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550 TSMSACAIX5350.tar.gz: The file access permissions do not allow the specified action."
    Can some one advice what is wrong. Im pretty much sure it has to be a problem with the UNIX permission. But the unix admin person says he has given a full permission.
    I need to know what permissions needs to be given??  Is there different permissions for application level and OS level??
    Pls advice
    Thanks

    In CC you set ON the delete mode, after processing file? Maybe, the file have read only permission....

  • Airport Utility Timed Access Control does not allow/restrict access to wireless clients per the time set.

    I have been trying to setup Timed Access Control in Airport Utility and it does not seem to be working correctly.
    In Airport Utility from Edit Timed Access Control I Enter a name for my device (iPad/iPhone any device), enter my mac address, set time for Everyday and use default Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, save and then update. When I go to my device iPad iPhone etc. I still have access even when it is after the time set, 5:00PM.  If I set no access it will restrict access also I set a time between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM and access was restricted.  It doesnt seem to matter what the device is.  I know that the MAC Adress is set correctly.  It seems like an issue with the Utility, possibly time miss match or something.  Not sure if I am missing something or if this Utility just has flaws. Please Help.

    I changed the default to (no access) and set an entry for my test device (an iPad) to "Everyday Between 9am to 5pm.  The iPad was still able to gain access to the network.
    Something else to note, if I try to edit the time of an entry it gives me an error on my MBP "Invalid value", "The value for “Timed Access Control” is invalid."  This happens even if I delete a digit (number or letter in the time field) and replace with the exact same. Not sure if the two are related. I have tried to edit access from my iPad.  I don't get any errors but I still don't get the expected results.  I called Apple to try and get Tech support but they were not much help. Thanks again.

    I am guessing this is some sort of an error in xml parsing. I found couple of solutions on sun java forums but none of them worked for me. Right now I am trying to figure out whether this is being caused by the applet or the java itself.
    Apparently other people who use this applet do not have a problem and they have the exact same files as me. So I am not sure what exactly is causing tihs problem. Bit of a noob.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! :)

    Hi thanks you very much for the reply.
    In my message I forgot to mention that I edited my prologs to "<?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>" and the jetty.xml that has the server configuration has:
    <?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE Configure PUBLIC "-//Mort Bay Consulting//DTD Configure//EN" "http://jetty.mortbay.org/configure.dtd">
    I apologize for the clarity of my message. I meant to say that I was wondering whether the problem is with the xm files that java has, or the xml files that are in the pyjasper package that I downloaded?
    I also checked for byte order mark using hex editor to see if those six characters were in front of my xml files. None of the files in the pyjasper package had the BOM so that solution did not work.
    Is there something wrong with the above xml prolog?
    I have been reading tons of different posts and stuf trying to figure this out for the past month but juts cannot seem to get it to work.
    Thanks.

    getting following error result:
    <?xml version = '1.0'?>
    <ERROR>oracle.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: Character '$' is not allowed in an XML tag name.</ERROR>
    This was because the database column name included $ characters.
    Question 1: Is it possible use getXML/putXML cli operations for tables containig these $ columns
    and how?Please use alias in your SQL query for the column with $, like
    select sys$rowno_info as rowinfo..OK for getXML but how to do this with putXML?
    Now I found the method setSQLToXMLNameEscaping(true) and tried the same query using the modified
    sample java code of XSU documentation. This time I got error result:
    <?xml version = '1.0'?>
    <ERROR>oracle.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: You are using an old version of the gss library; thus, sql-xml name escaping is not supported.</ERROR>
    Question 2: What is this gss library and is there up-to-date version available - and will it solve my
    $ problem?gss libs is ithe nls_charset12.jar located in jdbc/lib.

    I added nls_charset12.jar dated july 2002 into my classpath without
    success?
