VA01 - Parameter ID for Order reason

Hi All,
We have created order reason codes in the sales order processing. In Sales order header under Sales tab, system displays only Order description. There is a parameter ID, if it is added to the user profile, system will display Order reason code and description both. Anyone know what is that parameter id and/or how to find out it?
any help in this regard really appreciated.

Update a CODE FOR ORDERING REASON in PO

Hi all,
I need to do a mass update of the purchase orders with the non compliant code u201Cu201D1u201Du201D on the retail tab in the reason for ordering field.
They should be providing a single template with the following 3 fields:
PO NUMBER
PO ITEM NUMBER
CODE FOR ORDERING REASON
I have tried to do it using tx code MEMASSPO but I could not find the field BSGRU (reason for ord.)
any idea how can I do this mass update?

Basically, Only those fields can be changed in MEMASSPO, that are changeable when manually executing transaction ME22, because   the same checks are performed and the same programs are used, since it's technically spoken a batch-input procedure.
The field you refere is present in function module ME_LIMIT_FIELDS_PO, thisfunction module basically contains all
non-changeable fields for the mass change of the purchase order.

Error in Sales order, missing order reason

Hi All,
We are trying to create a sales order in the CRM Mobile Client and we see the following error.
mandatory check failed for order reason(reason for business transaction) of the business object sales transaction.
Any ideas on how to resolve the issue.

Did you make any settings for order reason in MSY -> Sales Transaction Settings -> Field Property Maintenance ?

'Invalid Order Reason' - reto-active billing

I am getting an error 'Invalid Order Reason' when system tries to create dr/cr memo request (order type B1) for retro-active billing.
Please let me know if someone else has seen this error

Thanks Jonathan! I had to add the order type to the variant set up for Order Reason Code and the error was gone.
I have one more question. When i assign the condition tables in Access Sequence, it assigns the field to document structure automatically. Is there a way I can change the assignment.
For example, I am trying to assign Payer to Customer number. However, system assigns Sold-to to customer number.
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

REPORT for list of invoice with an order reason.

Is there any standard SAP report which will show me a list of invoice with an order reason field?
I have tried VF05 and VF05n,but in both of them, order reason as a selection parameter field is missing.

Actually i was going to create a query with VBRK and VBAK tables but sales order number is not the common link as sales order number is present in VBAK table only.
Apart from that i had tried to add VBRK and VBRP table then i was getting the list of invoice with order reasons (because order reason was getting copied from an order to invoice) ,but in this query i'm getting Order reason number with list of invoice only(Description of order reason is not coming).
Please guide me for this if i'm wrong.

Parameter for ORDER BY in DAX query not respected

I have an SSRS table fed by a parameterized DAX query (utilizing the methods in
thesearticles). I have all of my parameters working just fine except for those feeding my closing ORDER BY statement (I am offloading the sorting
to the Tabular for several reasons, including a large tested performance gain over sorting in SSRS). I have defined the ORDER BY as follows:
ORDER BY @Order1, @Order2, @Order3, @Order4
I cannot get even the first parameter to work. I can pass arbitrary strings with no impact on the report returned, though if I hard code the ORDER BY in the query, the ordering is respected, so I know this is a problem with the parameter.
Running a Profiler trace on the server when I fire the SSRS report returns the following as the parameter value for @Order1:
<Parameter>
<Name>Order1</Name>
<Value xsi:type="xsd:string">Dimuser[UserID-Name]</Value>
This is exactly what I want to replace @Order1, and when I hard code that exact string into my query I get the behavior I want.
I have played with \ escaping the brackets to no avail.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have discovered a workable solution to my own problem.
The parameter is passed and interpreted as a quoted string, rather than as a field name.
I altered my query to follow this general format:
ORDER BY
SWITCH( TRUE()
, @Order1 = "User", DimUser[UserID-Name]
, SWITCH( TRUE()
, @Order2 = "User", DimUser[UserID-Name]
In this way I am comparing two quoted strings for equality and providing an unquoted field identifier that Tabular recognizes and can order by.

Sales Order Exit : for defining the invalid Order reason.

Hi all,
I am looking for an exit that may cnotain code for defining invalid entries of order reason AUGRU.
In VA01 , in my system, while creating order , we give order reason. But these reasons have been categorized as valid or invalid.
Basically when we go in VA01 and give order reason then, there is a Z field that determines which order reasons are invalid. It is this code I want to reach. Can anyone give any idea which exit it could be or how I could look for it.

It seems, you want to validate AUGRU of VBAK
For that try with USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK in include MV45AFZB.
Another thing, there is z field u are talking about. Is this Z field is a part of VBAK ?

if order type is Zvol
than the list of order reasons has to be restricted.
Now 15 are coming from OVAU tcode
I need only 5 from these.

By doing the user exit in IW32 we achieved the requirement of restriction of maintenance order TECO functionality if any Service Entry sheet pending with reference of maintneance order.

Depends on what you had
If you had iPhoto version 9.5.1 then you can reinstall from the app store under purchases
If you had any version of iPhoto '11 then you can install for free from the App store
If you had any earlier version of iPhoto (iPhoto '09 version 8.x.x) or older then you need to purchase iPhoto '11 version 9.x.x from the app store
If you had iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) or older then you also need to download and run the iPhoto library upgraded prior to launching the new iPhoto

Order reason is defined in customization but still we are getting the following message " Message no. V1 899 " /Order Reason E18 not defined for Order Type ZEF9.

As you have created sales order with document type ZEF9 but you have not taken any reference document then go to VOV8 and select ZEF9 and maintain the order reason feild and then do the process

Message ME644 Reason for Ordering (BSGRU) in BAPI_PO_CHANGE

I have a requirement to change the Reason for Order (EKPO-BSGRU) through BAPI_PO_CHANGE. I have populated neccessary input but the BAPI returns an Information message saying
'Change Reason for Ord. could not be effected ' Type I; ID ME; Number 664.
This seems to be a common problem I have seen several notes accross older versions that suggest applying program changes. We are using ECC6.0 any idea if there is a note to be applied?

Sales Order Reason for change

Hello All
I have a requirement where we need to add order reason as a warning message whenever users makes following changes in the sales Order using VA02:
1. Change the Order Quantity
2. Change the delivery date for an item or items
3. Delete a particular line item
4. Add a particular line item
I know it can be handled via VA02 user exit. I have listed following user exits will be helpful:
USEREXIT_CHANGE_SALES_ORDER
USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK
USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP
USEREXIT_CHECK_VBEP
USEREXIT_CHECK_XVBAP_FOR_DELET
Can you please let me know out of these which one are apt for my requirement and also if let say user makes a change once in the sales order and maintains the order reason before saving it, but how will it be taken care for changes done by the user on some other time. Basically how multiple changes will be controlled?

If you keep this order reason in imcompletion log, it will work.
But here the issue is sytem has to validate the order reason field if any of the above mentioned fields has been changed(as suggested, system will give warning in standard except for 1 & 4 options)
Here you can take the report from all the sales orders and differentiate the orders with the above
4-changes with order reason changes into a Z-table with your Abaper.(RVSCD100 program)
But here instead of going for enhancement you can very well control this with user discipline.
system is just an instrument who can help us but cannot think always the way we presume.
Suppose if a user has changed the order qty then he has to keep X as order reason--due to his ignorance he kept Y as order reason.Now system feels that data has been maintained no error in In-Completion log.
Still if you are so keen then you can very well maintain Z-Table with the expected Order reason and you can write a code in USEREXIT_SALESORDER_SAVE(Sorry i am not with SAP now) with your Abaper.

I was working on numerous songs in Logic Pro 9, and for some reason 2 of the songs would not bounce. I get an error message: Error in parameter list / Not an existing volume, and no default volume / Bad positioning information / Bad drive number

I was doing some minor editing in Logic Pro 9.1.8, like adding some plug-ins to audio and midi tracks on numerous songs. Most of the songs I had no problem bouncing. For some reason 2 of the songs I tried to bounce kept showing me this error message:
"Error in parameter list / Not an existing volume, and no default volume / Bad positioning information / Bad drive number" result code=-50.
The songs open and play fine, but won't let me bounce. I've worked with Logic for a few years and this has never happened. Any suggestions?

This is the standard config to supress printing on the rejected item. Are you using standard programs or customised ?
