Hi,
As per your check, if the profit center = 29292, message will be issued and if the profit center is other than 29292, system will not issue any message.
If you want to get a message when Profit center is other than 29292, change the check condition as profit center = 29292
The Validation / message will be triggered only when prerequisites are met and check is not fulfilled.

I have to put a validation on MR41 to check the amount entered on the screen. I am using OB28 to define the validation. Also, I have created user exit in the validation/substitution program where the necessary checks are done. But the validation is not triggering at the line item level. I have another validation of MR41 at header level, that is working perfectly. I want the validation to trigger at line item level also.
Any ideas on how to do it?

SAP Workflow not triggering due to "Start Condition return FALSE" message in SWEL

Hi,
I have SES approval workflow which is not triggering in few cases because of check function ends with exception even it has valid start condition and correct data. For example lets say we have PO no. 100 for which 3 SES (SES1,SES2 & SES3) are created. Out of which workflow for SES3 is not triggering even if all the three contain valid start condition(Bases on internal order at PO line item).when triggering workflow manually using SWUE for SES3 it work fine.Please find SWEL screenshot below and let me know if you have come across this type of issue.

kindly use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT and not SWE_EVENT_CREATE it's always better to use APIs.
Why use 2 sub-objects? you already have a z-object and you can modify it. even if there is a reason for the double sub object , the workflow should still run on the standard one - BUS2091.

As for your question,
if you are using a function module to raise the event, way not check in it if the service entry sheet has been created properly before creating the event. you can even check if the PO contains an internal order in your RFC function module and raise a specific event. then you will have no need for the starting condition.

OPPP change is not triggering planning file entry flag?

We use alternate BOMs for a particular subassembly and depending on requirements
shuffle between BOMs using a different alternate for a certain time period.
However when we change the alternate in OPPP it is not triggering the change in the planning file.
Is there something we are missing here.

Frist of all , there is no such cutomisation to have planning file entry of any material.Planning files entries is the first step which checks by the MRP during the MRP run. if no entries are found for the selected parts then MRP will not plans these parts. You can create/check the planning files entries from T Codes-MD20/MD21 even before you creat FG BOM .
Planning file entries will be created automatically when you enter the relevent MRP type (example PD) in the material master MRP1 view. OR when there was a change relevent to MRP like stock change due to moveement type/GR/GI or change in material master data.
MRP does planning file rentry based on the MRP relevent changes like you have FG and valid BOM .Now based on the FG MRP4 BOM Slection Explosion method , MRP will explode the BOM from lowest level and there will be planning file entry while executing MRP on FG based on the FG requirement and dependent relation in BOM .
In you case , please check the following ;
1.Whether you have kept other alternative BOM status as Inactive-2 Iin CS02-BOM Header -Status long text and also re-assing this in Routing CA02 with correct valaidty .Check the validity of the BOM alternative which u have included for sub-assbly
2.You have all the material master parameters [MRP1-MRP4 view ] all in place specially MRP type PD, Procurement Type E or F
3.Specially , check BOM explosion /selection methods in SFG/FG level in MRP4-Sleection methoids should Blank or 1 BASED ON QTY OR maintain producxtion version with selection indicator 2 or 3.
4.BOM should have usage -1-Production , Status-1 -Active.
5.Run MRP-MD02-NETCH, 2,1,3,3,2

Validation not working when Issue is modified

We have picklist field Action on which we have put a field validation which will ensure that depending on the Job title of the logged User, he will be able to select appropriate Action value.
The problem we are facing is : The validation is not triggered when an Issue is opened and saved without any changes to Action picklist.
for eg: If User 1 with Role A creates an Issue with Action values as per his Role. Now User 2 with Role B opens the Issue , he is displayed with the Action value saved by User 1. Now if User 2 changes the details of the Issue and doesn't change the Action, the Issue is saved. The validation doesn't work in this case, as Action is not modified.
Validation is as follows:

Also we cannot restrict users using Access control because, if we Restrict Issue modification by making Issues read-only for non owners , then Users cannot add related information like attachments and solutions.

I have a similar situation that I had to create a workflow rule that is triggered "before a modified record has been saved" and the rule looks for a change on record like;
PRE('<ModifiedTimestamp>')<>[<ModifiedTimestamp>] AND PRE('<Action>')=[<Action>] this checks to see if the record has been modified but the Action hasn't.
Then you want to have the workflow rule "Update Value" of the "Action" field with the same value that it had at the beginning of the operation, like;
[<Action>] in the "Value" formula field and ensure the "overwrite existing values" check box is selected.
In essence you're sending the same value to the "Action" field but it will trigger the Validation rules each time there is any change on the record.

PAI is not triggered after I choose value in F4

Hello experts,
I fight with the following problem:
On my screen I use input field (ucf_s_coi_afd03_ct-xrproc_param) and I coded the F4 help for it manually
PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
FIELD ucf_s_coi_afd03_ct-xrproc_param
MODULE req_xrproc_param_2006.
After I press f4 on this field, the values are correctly listed but after I choose one value (double click), I would expect that the PAI is triggered but it is not. I have to press ENTER, only then.
Is there a way how to trigger the PAI after the value is chosen?
I found one way, but I don't want to use it:
If I change the input field into "List box" or "List box with key", then I can assign function code to it and if I do that, then it works - PAI is triggered after value is chosen. However, I don't want to use list box, I need standard input field.
Any ideas?

The original problem (or at least my orignal problem) which was solved by the SUPPRESS DIALOG was how to trigger my PAI validation - not the PBO though that of course follows on afterwards - immediately on selecting a value from a search help in order to carry out a further check on the value selected. I've used DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE in other situations, but it was not a suitable solution for me here.

BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST is not triggering while creating/changing PO

I am new to BADIs,
I am trying to implement BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST in ECC 6.0. I have done the implementation and activated. I kept a break point in PROCESS_ITEM method, but the BADI is not triggering while creating or changing the PO. Please advice me what could be the reason behind this?
I used the SQL trace but i couldn't get the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST in the list.

go to EXIT_SAPMM06E_017 in that then you can put a break point in the user defined function module.....
or use
BREAK 'C5133392' (use your user in place of C5133392)....it will stop here while creating PO or changing PO...
now you can do whatever you want to do in create or change PO using this function exit......
perform the validations on import parameters.....to create or change ....and activate the project....

OIM 11gR2 - RoleUser PostProcess Event Handler not triggered

I'm trying to create a postprocess event-handler for RoleUser entity so that when a role is assigned (or removed) to a user an UDF is populated with the list of its roles.
I developed my event-handler and registered it following instructions on http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/dev.1112/e27150/oper.htm#OMDEV4749 but the event-handler is not triggered.
I've read and tried a lot of things but nothing seems to work.
I use System.out.println() and a Logger in the event-handler methods as well as breakpoints debugging via Eclipse, all this indicates the event-handler is not triggered.
I checked the event-handler is registered by using getEventHandlers(RoleUser,CREATE) method on IAMAppDesignMBean through Enterprise Manager. Result is :

Also note that I see these messages in the logs but I'm not sure it concern my event handler from what I read on some pages :
XML schema validation failed for XML eventhandlers and it will not be loaded by kernel.
[CALLBACKMSG] Found 0 possible matches for applicable policies for step POST_PROCESS, entity RoleUser, operation CREATE.

I eventually got it working but I'm not sure of how.. !
I changed the name of the handler (it was not "MyHandler" but something very long, I shortened it). I copy and paste exactly what was described here : Post process event handler when a role is created or modified in OIM. I did purge cache. I tried to apply it on another entity (Role), it was triggered, then I applied it back to RoleUser and it still works.

ESS CATS user exit not triggered

Hi,
I am making some validations on the time sheet using enhancement cats0006, but that user exit is not triggered in the portal, in ESS.
I have my project activated through tr. CMOD, the user exit is triggered in R/3 using transaction CAT2.
What could be the reason ?

In SAP HRMS personnel actions if i do using LSMW Recording it is not triggering the dynamic actions.
Is there any mechanism to Trigger dynamic action in LSMW Recording ?
How to find the differences in process with and with out recording ?

Yes. Do one thing. First study the dynamic action. Try to understand what the dynamic action is doing. Is it creating data in other infotype or is it updating some other table. Once it is clear what the dynamic action is doing then you can try to implement the same logic in LSMW. In LSMW there is a provision to add more than one recording and this recording can be called based on some logic..

OA Adapter not triggering in ESB but if the service is in BPEL its triggere

I have used Oracle Applications Adapter and choosen a Business Event in Ebiz API this is ESB. SomeTimes this ESB service is not triggered, when i did this in bpel its working fine can any one answer to this.

BSP Terminating event not triggering

Hello Friends,
We have a scenario, where a BSP application is triggered from a Workflow, for a certain approval, and after the user clicks on Approve button on the BSP Page, the BSP would write to the workflow container using SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER and then we call SWF_WSC_CALLBACK_LAUNCH.
This used to work, but after an almost Fatal incident with our system, we are not able to get this to work.
We can see in the workflow log that the container is written, but the terminating event is not triggered, and the workflow doesn't move forward
Is there a setting that we're missing..??

BulkEventResult Method Not Triggering in Postcreate Eventhandler

My Scenario is like this ...
When a user is created through Trusted Recon I wrote a PostCreateEventhandler to generate some field in OIM , for this in my Event handler I implemented BulkEventResult Method to trigger while a user is created through trusted Recon but BulkEventResult is not triggering . It's urgent requirement please help me .

order of you eventhandler should be between 1002 to 1008 or just FIRST or LAST as per requirement.

BUS2032 - ALECHANGED event not triggering

Hi Gurus,
I have a issue in our dev system. In our system automatic PO creation is configured through Sales order.
This is working fine in Regression and production systems, but not working in Dev system.
I have compared the Regression and Dev system and I found that the ALECHANGED event is not triggering in our Dev system.
I have checked the Item Category of the Sales Order and it is same in both the systems.
And also I have checked all possible Workflow transaction(SWUE, SWEL, SWU3, SWU0, SWETYPV), everything looks same in both the systems.
Now I am not sure what to check and where to check.
Please let me whereelse/whatelse I have to check. Is there any ALE configuration to be checked.

I know there could be some config missing but don't know what config it is.
There are more than 100 users in our Dev Systems, so I can't check the transports. It would be helpful for me if I get specific TCodes or areas so that I can compare my dev system with other systems where it is working fine.
