Validation problem, HELP required

I have the followig HTML form, I have tried validating the values using Javascript but have had no success.
I am trying to validate the following: "set1ar" "set1aw" "set2ar" "set2aw" "set3ar" "set3aw" "set4ar" "set4aw".
I have to ensure that only integer values >= 0 are entered in these fields, so no negative numbers or text. Can someone please help me out here. My thanks in advance.

You can try the following Javascript function . It will not allow the user to enter any character other than between 0-9 .

Form validation problems - help

I am having serious problems getting the cfform validation
properties to work properly.
When i submit an empty form it will not perform the
javascript even though most fields are required.
when i did a view source in the window all of the js code is
there but it is just not working...
are there any small details i could be missing?

The javascript validation relies on cfform.js which is in the
CFIDE directory. If on your install this is in a non standard place
then it will not work unless you specify where it is.
You do this by using the scriptSrc attribute in the cfform to
specify it's location.

Oracle 8i us7ascii character set problem - help required urgent.

I have a oracle 8i database server installed on sun solaris os. The database character set is us7ascii. In one of the tables TIFF images are stored in a long column. I m trying to fetch these images using oracle 9i client and visual basic(oracle ODBC drivers). But i m unable to do so. I can not fetch special characters.
Is it because of the character set problem? but when i run my code on the server itself, i m able to fetch the images. I tried to fetch the images using oracle 8 i client on windows XP machine but could not do so. Are there any special settings that i have to do on the client side?

Indeed, it's an ODBC issue. Read this statement from Oracle:
From ODBC 8.1.7.2.0 drivers onwards it's NOT possible any more to
"disable" Characterset conversion by specifying for the NLS_LANG
the same characterset as the database characterset. There is now
ALWAYS a check to see if a codepoint is valid for that characterset.
Typically you will encounter problems if you upgrade an environment
that has NO NLS_LANG set on the client (or US7ASCII) and the database
was also US7ASCII. This incorrect setup allowed you to store characters
like èçàé in an US7ASCII database, with the new 8i drivers this is not possible
any more.
Basic problem is the 'wrong' characterset US7ASCII in the database. As long as no characterset conversion happens (that's the case on the unix server), special characters are no problem.

Hi Victor,
the problem is not the db-link. If you execute the statment "select * from table@dblinkname;" in an pl/sql program you get this error too. The user has not the select privelege maybe only a role. Please grant the select priveleg directly to the user.

Mutating table problem help required

Hi. I am rather hoping someone will be able to help me with this problem.
I have two tables, sa and mv. Create script below:

The second problem I need to overcome is that none of the stuids can have moduleIds where total credit value of more than 120 credits. Credit value is stored in the mv table.

N86 8GB -persistent problems -help required

I bought N86 yesterday.this phone hangs/freezes at almost anytime--while setting time, while typing the name of new contact, while renaming a music file,while using maps zoom in and zoom out,camera refuses open for hours together,opening the slide just befor typing something.I don't understand --DOES NOKIA EVER CHECK THE STABILITY OF ITS MODELS BEFORE RELEASING??????????. My old grandpa of nseries -N90 even to this date woks great wiithout a hitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Hope does look into this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to reinstall the firmware through NSU but it will reduce the freezing issue wont wipe out it completely. I am also facing the similar problem on N86 which I bought in Mumbai, India on 11th July. I have reinstalled the firmware which is 10.086 as only this is available in India on NSU. And my freezing problem reduced a lot. But still not completely gone. I am gonna ask for replacement from the distributor for my N86.

Execute the program in the Debuggin mode.
In the Debugger Window
Select Breakpoint -> Break point at -> Breakpoint at source code Menu Item and enter the details of the program/include/line no..
Activate the System Debugger On from the Settings Menu.

Search Help with in a serach help required in SRM 4.0

Hi,
Requirement: Search help required for Product Category field in the Search help for Product(BBPH_PRODUCT) in SRM portal.
This search help is used in Create shopping Cart transaction. The hyper link on Internal Goods/Services leads to the search help BBPH_PRODUCT.
My analysis:
The field Product Category (CATEGORY_ID) has search help(COM_CAT_HIER) attached to its data element. When I single test the search help BBPH_PRODUCT in SAP GUI,I can see the search help for field product category in the selection dialogue box. However the same does not appear on the corresponding screen in HTML.
Please let me know whether I need to do some thing to make the search help appear on the HTML screen?

Help Required - Oracle AS 10g

hello,
i have just downloaded oracle 10g softwares ...
i installed database then developer suite ... everything was fine ... until i was unable to run forms ...
a friend of mine told me that i need to install application server in order to run forms ...
1st of all i want to know that is there any way i can run forms without using Oracle AS 10g ...
2ndly i m facing problems in installation of Oracle AS 10g ...
i have studied online documentation but it ain't so helpfull for me ...
it seems like ... i have to install "Oracle AS infrastructure" first and then "Middle-tier: Business Intelligence and forms" ...
i m using P-IV (AMD Athlon XP 2100+, MMX, 1.7GHz Processor) with 512 MB DD RAM and Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 as Operating System.
During installation, the installer is warning dat only "Oracle Application Server (J2EE and Web Cache)" and "Oracle Application Server Developer Kits" are supported installations on dis platform ...
what should i do ... urgent help required ...

i didn't changed da port while installing Oracle AS ...
inspite i stopped all services using/listening from dat port ...
now ... i guess there has been some conflict ... as database listner stops automatically just after starting !!!

Another Problem:
I re-installed Database, Developer suite and then Oracle AS infrastructure ...
everthing went fine ...
when i installed Oracle AS Middle Tier - Business Intelligence & Forms
during installation ... some configuration assistants failed/skipped ...
da OC4J configration assistant at 5th last position failed ... so remaining 4 configuration assistants were skipped ...
at da end it said ... Installation Succesfull but with some configuration assistants failed/skipped ...
is dis a installation useless ... can i fix dis ?

Help required with connection / settings between a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum EX (soundcard) and a Creative DTT3500 Digital (5. speakers).
The problem
No sound from any of the speakers. (Exception can plug in headphones at front)
Background
My computer has been recently upgraded at my local computer shop and all programs re-installed (including driver update from Creative's website). However after reconnecting speakers and restoring the original settings I?m getting no sound from any of the speakers. I?ve followed all the available advice/instructions I can find on this website and manuals to no avail.
Set-up
Physical
(Digital DIN) Speakers/decoder amplifier (DTT3500) connected to the (digital out) soundcard (Audigy Platinum EX) using minijack to DIN cable. (As per instruction manual)
Software
Creative Audio Consul ? setting as per instructions, however have tried variations in vain. (Note: above tabs there is a select device box with SB Audigy [A0000] in it ? only option. Just wondering what [A0000] means?)
Your advice please. A simple step by step guide would be appreciated, many thanks in advance, Jon

Do you have the original installation disk?
If so, try installing THOSE drivers, ESPECIALLY if it worked before. Be sure to uninstall what is there now, first.
Its natural for most people to want the 'latest' drivers for their hardware. However:
After experiencing some difficulties with some CL 'updates' for certain products, I now avoid them UNLESS I am having a PROBLEM with the existing drivers.

Pricing Error (help required)

Is there any routine which includes the tax value in R100 as well ,currently the problem is that the 100% Discount condition is only including the net price
And in the pricing procedure i m using two prices one price of tax calculation and the other is consumer price first i calculate the tax from base price then i deduct the tax from the consumer price this calculation is working fine through standard routines.
Only problem is that when i enter NRAB and R100 at end it only includes Net Value which is calculated through Formual using condition type NTPS

I m not getting the exact picture of what U desired, from your pricing procedure.
As you r using multiple free goods condition type...anyway.
If you wanted to make the calculated tax "amount + "as a basis for the calculation of particular condition type.you can use the functionality of subtotal.
That mean go and assign one subtotal no. to subtotal column in your pricing procedur to all condition type to which you wanted to make as a basis for furthur calculation.(this settings allow the total of all values in one subtotal).
And finally U can assign this subtotal no.to the "alt.cal.B.value "of pricing procedure for the calculation of particular condition type.
If you r using any std condion type that come up with certain routine like NRAB or somthing...possibly that will not allow u to do this settings. so in this case clear your free goods requirement or use any new condition type. i.e . Z creation.
