Validation Profiles for ASN Creation

Hi,
I am working on integrating a non SAP ERP backend system with SNC 5.1. I want to avoid sending Purchase Order data to SNC from the backend system and this will require me to turn off the ASN validation check for reference documents. Does anyone know what checks I will need to flag as inactive? I have tried several options, but I am not seeing a change when trying to create the ASN without the PO reference. I am also seeing an error "Validation profile not found" even though it has been defined. Maybe I'm not doing this correctly. Any help would be great, especially a step by step instruction.

Hi~
I am facing problem while creating the ASN' s for the Schedule Line releases. Error message is " Schedule line due quantity is Zero". But due quantity field is not getting populated when I create confirmations and also it is not editable.
Status of my confirmation line is "Published". This problem is coming only for Scheduling agreement, for Purchase Orders ASN' s are getting created successfully.
Please suggest how to resolve this or am I missing any processing step here?

You need to do the below setting:
Path go to SPRO>Supply Network Collaboration>Delivery>Due Quantity Calculation>Determine Due Schedule Line Quantities
In that you have to maintain for which level of commitment ASN should be created.
Level of Commitment:
1)Fixed dates and quantities
If you maintain Fxd Ds&Qs=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Fixed dates and quantities system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
2)Production and material go-ahead
If you maintain ProdMatGo-Ahead=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Production and material go-ahead system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
3)Material go-ahead
If you maintain Mat. Go-Ahead=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Material go-ahead system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
4)Forecast
If you maintain Forecast=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Forecast system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
5)Missing quantity / backlog
If you maintain Miss.Qty/Bcklg=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Missing quantity / backlog
system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
6)Immediate requirement
If you maintain Miss.Qty/Bcklg=Consider Release schedule line.
If your schedule line of the schedule agreement is having level of commitment =Immediate requirement
system will allow to create ASN for this schedule line.
Depnding upon your business requirement you can maintain setting for ASN creation for scheduling agreement release.
By default this settings are not there in SNC you have to maintain above setting as per your business need.
As per SAP standard defination for Level of Commitment is:
The level of commitment informs the supplier about the schedule line type and how binding a schedule line is.
Level of Commitment

Quantity and date of the schedule line are fixed and will remain unchanged. The schedule line belongs to a delivery-relevant release. The supplier can deliver the quantity without waiting for another acknowledgement or the customeru2019s request.

Production and material go-ahead
The schedule line belongs to a forecast delivery schedule that is not relevant for delivery and is in the production go-ahead period. The supplier can, therefore, procure the materials for manufacturing the ordered products and start with production. If the customer cancels a schedule line, the supplier can invoice the material and production costs.

The schedule line belongs to a forecast delivery schedule that is not relevant for delivery and is within the material go-ahead period. The supplier can, therefore, procure the materials that s/he requires for production. If the customer cancels a schedule line, the supplier can invoice for the material costs.

The schedule line belongs to a forecast delivery schedule that is not relevant for delivery. The schedule line is not binding and may possibly change. The supplier can use the data for his or her own planning, however.

The schedule line is in the past. The customer has already transferred the schedule line in a release but the supplier has not yet delivered the schedule line.

Immediate requirement
The customer has not yet transferred the schedule line in a release, but needs the schedule line quantity immediately.
These values are relevant if you use a DIMP system as the customer back-end system.

Valid size not available for this creation when using Greeting Card feature

Using PSE9 with a Mac. When attempting to create a greeting card, after selecting the photo, the Greeting Card, I receive a pop up error message as follows:
"Valid Size Not Available For This Creation". (All other Create functions such as Photo Book, Photo Calendar, and Photo Collage appear to be working). I have been in contact with Adobe Support and have been instructed to do a number of things from creating a new preferences file to uninstalling and re-installing the PSE software, with no result. Has anyone else run into this problem, and if so have found a fix? Thanks.

I've been tearing my hair out over this one also. I've been on hold for over 10 hrs with Adobe Support waited over almost 2 weeks and still no resolution. I'm trying to create the Save the Date cards for my wedding and I can't wait for Adobe. Removing the preferences file and uninstalling/reinstalling does not fix the problem.
That said I did figure out a workaround for this. It's easy but it does require Windows. For me this was no big deal as I do own a Windows box.
Get the free trial version of PE9 for Windows and install it. If you don't have a Windows computer get to a friend that has one
Upload some of your photos to the PE9 Windows Organizer (it's identical to the mac version)
Select Create and then Greeting card. Photoshop will launch the guided edit feature for greeting cards.
Select the Layout feature and once you find out that you like save it as Photoshop project. Repeat this step for as many layouts as necessary.
Copy your Photoshop project files (and any folders) to your mac.
Open the project files as you would with any other Photoshop file.
You can now select the Create feature. You will be able add your pictures and resize them, you will be able to add/remove text, you'll be able to change the backgound/borders, add graphics...pretty much anything...EXCEPT automatically modify the layout. If you click on Layout, PE9 returns nothing. You can however go into full edit mode and if you have decent Photoshop skills you can make any changes to the layout manually.
If I had to put money on this I'd say that there is a problem with the PE9 Mac installation package. For some reason it is not deploying the layout data/files or it is not putting them in the right place. For this reason the program can't find the layouts when the user selects the greeting card guided edit.

We needto create the profile for display of components with some particular fields for CO28 transaction.
I am aware of COIS transaction in SPRO to do that. There is also the transaction OPLM linked for creation of profiles.
Can anyone tell me the exact way and step by step rpocedure for creating a new profile with required fields.
Proper expalantory answer will receive good points.

Hi Vipul,
Go to SPRO-shop floor ctrl-information system-define profile for order info system.
Here u will find all the objects with the profiles attached for each objects under the Standard profile.
These profiles are used in reporting transactions like
Profile for order info system - COOIS, CO28
profile for picking list - CO27
profile for missing part info system - CO24
Folllowing profiles are assigned to ordertype dependent parameters at plant level - OPL8, Here under display you have to assign these profile in "Display Profile" tab.

Define Profile for Order Information System
     In this step you can define overall profiles for the order information
     system.
     The overall profile controls
     o   what information is displayed in the order information system
     o   the layout of the information.
     An overall profile contains a number of individual profiles. Each
     individual profile contains parameters for the object overview list and
     the object detail list.
     In the overall profile you define the following:
     o   which objects are to be read from the database
     o   which objects are to be displayed in the list
     o   up to which object the objects are to be expanded in the overview.
     Activities
     Define which objects you want to display in the object overview.
Using Production Order Information System Profiles
The objects selected and the layout of the screen can be determined by an overall profile defined in the initial screen of the production order information system. The overall profile embodies various subordinated single profiles.
An overall profile can be assigned the following specifications:
u2022 A variant which can be used to suppress selection criteria
u2022 Which objects to read from the database
u2022 Which of these objects are to be displayed in the list

A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found

I have built an enterprise APP. It has been installed in hundreds of machine. It can run smoothly at the begining. After two months, a few of the machice cannot open the APP anymore. I have tried to read its crach log and it has nothing. Finally, i found out the reason by tracing the console log.
The error is "A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found".
So I check if the file exist but it is disappeared. The user have not removed the profile.
At last, I tried to install the profile again, it is still not working even the profile is installed. Is there anyone who have the same issue? Thank you very much

Photoshop elements 12 "valid size not available for this creation"

I see the message "valid size not available for this creation" when I am in organizer and I try and go to create a collage, photo book or any of those options. I have tried to see what other people have done by changing their location to usa/Canada but that didn't work for me. Can you help me resolve this? Thanks!

The error means that Elements is experiencing problems calling up the templates from the media database. You may need to close elements and then rename or delete the following system file and then re-launch the software and wait whilst the database is re-created. find:
Mediadatabase.db3

Valid Size not available for this Creation (Greeting card only) - Elements 10 for Mac

I purchased Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 10 for my MAC and am getting "VALID SIZE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CREATION" when I try to create a GREETING CARD only. All other options in CREATE work.
I have read other forums on here and have tried everything they have said and it still does not work. I have tried:
opt, cmd and shift to delete preferences
uninstalled and reinstalled
performed updates on both my MAC and the program
Can anyone PLEASE suggest other solutions to this problem? Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Thanks!

Hi - My file structure is somewhat different than the file structure that you describe in the first part of your note (My system is Windows XP with Service Pack 3). This is what my file structure looks like:
    C:/Program Files/Adobe/Elements 10 Organizer/locales/en_US
         >application_swfs
         >Plug-Ins
         >Suppport Files
No Creation Graphics folder, no Kodak Gallery Folder, no files with the name E9_preview_photocard_1(or2).jpg.
I perfromed a hard drive search on filename E9_preview_photocard* and found these files under:
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\en_us\CreationGraphics\local
I performed a hard drive search on Kodak Gallery and found the file under:
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\en_us\CreationGraphics\Kodak Gallery
This Kodak Gallery folder contains 10 files, 2 of which appear to be related to Greeting Cards. These are 5x7_adobe_folded_cards and 5x7_adobe_folded_cards_zoom
Regarding the 235x120 greeting files, I search and found these under
     C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Photo Creations\photo layouts

I've installed the Photoshop Elements 10 with the language JP successfully, but Greeting Card does not work at all; "Valid size not available for this creation" (JP: この作品で使用できる有効なサイズがありません) can not be resolved, even though followed the instruction (http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/error-valid-size-available-creation.html). MediaDatabase.db3 is on C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\ja_jp\. Pls. anybody help me on this !

Definition: release creation profile
An instrument used to determine the period in which releases (types of delivery schedule) are generated against a scheduling agreement and transmitted to the vendor.
The creation profile controls the creation periodicity of the releases, the aggregation of scheduled quantities starting from the day after release creation, and the implementation of a tolerance check to ensure that releases are only created in the case of major changes to the overall delivery schedule in the system.
Example
A release creation profile for a scheduling agreement for which delivery schedule lines have been entered over several years specifies that releases are transmitted weekly from 01.01 to 12.31 of the first year. The release quantities are to be aggregated as follows:
For a period of 10 days starting from the current date of release creation: no aggregation. From the tenth to the thirtieth day: on a daily basis. From the thirtieth day to the sixtieth day: on a monthly basis.

Why an Error Message "Valid size not available for this Creation" in Elements 10 Photo Collage

I have several image editing programs, but I bought Elements 10 specifically to do things the others wouldn't. I wish to make a photo collage but all I get when I try, after following the instructions in the "help" and "Elements 10 for Dummies" is an error message stating "Valid Size not available for this Creation." A meaningless phrase anyway because nowhere does it request a "valid size." Please will someone tell me the magiac words to make my lovely collage automaticaslly, or shall I revert to doing it manually on one of my other excellant image editing programs?

Check whether the RFC destiantion LCRSAPRFC is proper. Test the connection and Also check the exchange profile paramteres in the XI.
