Validation Required before purchase

Both my ATV's, version 1 and 2, will suddenly not allow me to rent or buy content. When i try....it tells me "Validation Required before Purchase". I am sure that my apple ID and PW are input correctly. How do I force "validation"????
Any ideas???

Got to your Account in the iTunes Store using iTunes. Make sure your CC is up to date as well as the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. I had the same issue once as well. This solved it for me.

I just setup an iTunes account and now when I try to download a song or app iget a popup stating "a valid address is required to purchase. Click on Billing Info to got to the address page and correct your address." The address is correct. It is my billing address. Please check if the billing address you are using is a valid one or not at the following web link:

However before you try to update the billing information, please make sure that you have also reset the password for your account.
This being said, if the issue still persists you might need to report this to the iTunes Store customer support through email as there has been an ongoing issue similar to this and they might have an answer for this as well.

Whenever I updated or downloaded a new app from the App Store, a message appears saying:
"Account Not In This Store
Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Swedish. store before purchasing."
I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

We do have a place in the UK which we could use as an address, but for various reasons it gets a bit complex even though we still have a UK bank account. We moved to France when there were no iDevices and apps around, just bought the occasional music, so it wasn't a problem. Funny thing is I can't even download the free UK bank app because it's not available in the French store .
I'll live with the problem for now as we plan to move back to the UK in a year or so - we miss the weather .

Ysterday I updated to the new IOS6 on my Iphone 4. The phone service is provided by the Softbank carrier in Japan but I am an American and my Itunes account is U.S. After the update I get this warning when trying to install app updates "Your account is not valid for use in the Japanese store. Open the App Store and tap "featured", go down untill you see your Apple ID... enter there and tap "View Apple ID"... it should automatically ask you if you want to switch the store. Switch and thats all.

My app store and itunes store are stuck in Japanese store. I already moved to the Philippines for about a year ago and my stores still won't change its location.
I already changed the region/country in my apple id. I tried to sign out and sign in back to my account. Tried it in app store, in itunes store, in settings app, in itunes in my laptop, in the apple website. It shows that my apple id is already set to Philippines, no matter where I sign in my account.
The problem is when I open my app store (or itunes store) in my iphone, it appears that it is in the Philippines store; however, when I sign in my account (and I tried to sign in everywhere), I cannot download any app from the Philippine store. I have read everywhere and most of the answers say that it should automatically direct me to the correct store. It doesn't happen to me, apparently.

Are you certain that you are signed onto iTunes & Apps in the Canadian store?
Settings>iTunes & App Stores, click on your AppleID, and then click on View AppleID. Type in your password, then click on Country/Region. Once there, follow the prompts and then select the Canadian Flag.

Alright, let's check with iTS to see if they can confirm the nationality, and perhaps anything else that may be problematic with that account.
