Valueation type error when settleing production order

Hi ,
We are geting error  following error when settleing the production order  " For material xxxxx valuation type 01 does not exist for plant xxxx "  wat could be the problem . Is it due to any split valueation activation problem .

Hi
Check in MM60, the valuation type maintained for material/ plant combination, if it doesnet exists then create the material type with 01 valuation type in plant.
Also check in OMWC, valuation category and valuation types are correctly assigned to plant.
Thanks

  • Error in Settlement production order

    Hi,
    I am facing follow error when try to settled production order in KO88.
    There are no accrued amounts; settlement is not possible
    Message no. KD256
    Diagnosis
    The sender has a results analysis key, but no accrued values.
    Either the accrual was not yet started for the sender, or the values to be settled from the accrual equal zero.
    Note
    Actual costs are only settled once the sender is technically completed or finally delivered.
    This applies to
    Projects that cannot carry revenues

    Hi AP,
    First of all thanks for you are paying continue attention on my thread.
    I have checked in production order that goods are issued against the production orders and costs are captured.
    When I run KKAX,facing following error.Hope you can solve this.
    There are values for cost element 50200000 that are not assigned to any line ID
    Message no. KJ161
    Diagnosis
    Not all values for the cost element are assigned to a line ID.
    Procedure
    Assign the cost element to a line ID. If you don't want to include the cost element in results analysis, assign it to a line ID of category N.
    You can access a detailed list of unassigned cost elements as follows: Start results analysis in the individual processing mode (transaction KKA1, KKA2, or KKA3). Select the field Full log. Execute the function. On the next screen, choose Logs -> Parameter List in the menu. A list is generated. The unassigned values are shown at the end of the list.
    If cost element "+++++++++" was shown in the message, this is because in the assignment of costs and revenues to line IDs, you have not used a cost element other than the full masking "+++++++++". In this case a presummarization eliminates the information on the cost element.

  • Error when creating Production Order

    Dear All,
    When i was trying to create Production Order using CO01, there was an error message that says "error when calculating cost, see log, log is deleted when saving"
    what is the problem from that error message? how can i solve this problem?
    best regard,
    MARUFAT

    Cost consist of material cost which are the direct cost, it is calculated from the component and the material itself for which the order is created. If the material is semifinished or finished check whether the accounting view for these material contains value. These material could be costed as per the method mentioned by our friend or you may enter value through MR21 (if the material is not costed atall since it is created). It is recommended to update cost through costing run and by CO member. Now if the material is Raw material you need to maintain PIR.
    The second part could be the activity cost. These follows from the routing/receipe. Mostly the costing error is due to the inappropriate defination of either cost center or activity types. You need to confirm whether activity price are define for the period.
    Appriciating you for taking a concern on the costing error and not overriding.

  • Want to select the Order type automatically when creating production order

    Hi Gurus,
    Please help to select the order type automatically while creting the production order..??
    Please what configuration settings are avialble to make this happen to me.
    THank you in advance.
    Naveen.

    Naveen,
    First priority is the order type defined in the Production schedulling profile(OPKP), assigned to that particular material in workscheduling view. If this is not maintained then,
    Second priority is configuration at MRP Group parameters in transaction in OPPR, this MRP Group if assingned to Material master MRP1 view.
    Third priority is Configuration at Plant level parameters in transaction OPPQ, this defines the order type when convert planned order to Production/Process order.

  • Backflush Components With Movement Type 101 When Confirm Production Order

    Hi PP Gurus,
    I found that we have a backflushing material (procurement type: F) in 'Good Movement' with movement type 101 instead of 261.
    The movement type of this material (procurement type: F) in reservation is 261. How did system determine the movement type 101 there?
    Is there any user exit used there?
    Appreciate any help. Thanks.

  • Facing data type error when changing the order of fields in a query

    Hello Experts
    I am working on E sourcing 5.1.
    I have a query with some filters . I want to change the position of a particular filter.
    Basically I want to move a filter of type date to the top , so that it is the 1st parameter.
    I was able to do this by reorder option.
    However at runtime it gives me an error saying that "error  u201CORA-00932:  inconsistent datatypes:  expected NUMBER got date."
    Later I reverted back my changes so that the date filed is at its original position and faced no issues.
    Query worked fine.
    Is the order of filters important when executing a query.
    Please suggest how can I move the date filter to the top of the query's filter list.
    Regards
    Vikas

    Hello Vikas,
    Its not the SELECT statements that you need to change. You have to change the WHERE caluse.
    In the WHERE clause, some of the conditions will have some table column equated to a '?' symbol. This symbol is a place-holder for a filter prompt. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the '?' symbols and the filter prompts created in the query(under the Filter Prompt tab). This means that the first '?' corresponds to the first filter prompt, second '?' to the second filter prompt and so on.
    Keeping the above information in mind, you can attempt to make changes to your query. You can duplicate your existing query and try your hands at it.
    One more point worth mentioning : It is evident that if you need to use the same filter prompt at more than once place in the query definition, you have to create more than one instance of that query prompt.(Here by another instance I mean that the two filter prompts should have same values in their fields when you define them.) But even when you create more than one instance of a filter prompt, on the UI it will appear just as a single instance.
    If things have become more confusing than before (of which there is a high probability ) then please go through the online help for Queries. It has got an extensive documenation and will be surely be of some help to you.
    Good luck!!

  • Error KO115 when closing production order

    Hi all,
    when I close the production order, I get the error message:
    Balance of ORD 3331403 is not zero
    Message no. KO115
    The cost balance for this order is 3000 USD.
    We are doing a monthly settlement.
    When the production order has status NOT TECO and NOT DEL, the KKAX shows 500 USD and the KKS2 shows 0 USD.
    When the production order has status DLV, KKAX and KKS2 both show 0 USD.
    COFC and COGI are empty.
    How can we close the order?
    Thanks
    Anne

    Dear Anne,
    check in KKBC_ORD, whether order is carrying any cost or not
    if it is showing balance then you cannot close
    first calculate, overheads, WIP, Variance, then settlement of order
    Then check the result

  • FOR MTO & MTS scenario when the Production order shows the Sysy status DLV?

    Hi ALL,
    In the MTO & MTS  scenario when the Production order system status become DLV ?
    Regards
    Satish

    Hi Satish,
    For both the planning strategies (MTO/MTS)..
    The status of the production order becomes DLV ,
    when you do GR for the order with 101 movement type.
    (OR)
    At the time of final confirmation if automatic goods receipt is activated.

  • Settlement production order

    Hi guru,
    I have a production order with two settlement rule
    1) MAT
    2) ORD
    My customer wants that, at the end of the period, when the production order has status "released",  some costs goes to wip and some goes to internal order.
    In which way I can do this?
    Thanks
    Regards
    Raffaele

    Hi
    I dont think you can do this... You can either have MAT as the settlemnt receuver OR an Internal order.... You cant have both at a time
    If the material is a valuated material, then the settlement rule is always to MAT... If you force Internal Order or any CO object in the Setl rule, then the GR wont be valuated GR even though the material is a Valuated material... In this case, only the qty will be updated to Stock

  • Illegal start of type error when adding for loop to applet

    I have typed the following applet to print a horizontal row of stars with the length entered by the user (i.e. user enters 4 and applet prints out 4 stars in a row). Here is my code:
    import java.awt.Graphics;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class Histograms extends JApplet
           String input = "";
            int number;
         public void init()
              input = JOptionPane.showInputDialog ( null,
              "Enter a number\nbetween 1 and 30:" );
              number = Integer.parseInt( input );
         public void paint ( Graphics g )
              for ( int counter = 1; counter <= number; counter++ )
                                    System.out.print( "*" );
               System.out.println();
    };Now I am trying to make it do this 5 times, so it seems like just surrounding the init and paint methods in a for loop (i.e. for ( int i=1; i <= 5; i++ ) ) would do the trick but when I do that I get an illegal start of type error when trying to compile. Does anyone know why this error would show up. The most common reply to questions of this sort seems to be to check the closing braces but I have checked very carefully after adding the for loop and don't see any problems with mismatched braces. Could you please help me get on the right track as to how I can make this applet print a horizontal row of stars five times? All help is appreciated.

    Hello JTMOBOP:
    You were correct in figuring that I was trying to get the applet to print five rows of stars of different length according to five different inputs from the user. I tried your suggestions, and the code now does compile and run, but it still does not run properly (i.e. only asks user once for input and displays row of stars but does not show an input dialog again). Here is the code I have retyped:
    import java.awt.Graphics;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class Histograms extends JApplet
       String input = "";
       int[] number = new int[5];
       public void init()
          for ( int i = 0; i < 5; i++ )
             input = JOptionPane.showInputDialog ( null,
                "Enter a number\nbetween 1 and 30:" );
             number[i] = Integer.parseInt( input );
       public void paint ( Graphics g )
          for ( int i = 0; i < 5; i++ )
             for ( int myNumber = 0; myNumber <= number; myNumber++ )
    System.out.print( "*" );
    System.out.println();
    Any ideas what's going on here?
    Also, your comments about not being able to loop a method make sense. Thank you for the input so far.
