  • PCA - Value flow from other modules

    HI All,
Can somebody explain how values flow from MM, SD, AR & AP into PCA. How are the account assignments derived and where value flow is done manually??
    Thanks, Ashok

    Hello
The following data is transferred to Profit Center Accounting:
    ·        Revenues and sales input - through assignment of sales document items
    ·        Direct costs - through assignment of production orders and cost objects
    ·        Overhead costs - through assignment of account assignment objects from Overhead Cost Controlling (cost centers, orders etc.)
    FI
When you post data directly in Financial Accounting, all primary data requires an additional assignment to a CO object.
The assignment of this CO object (cost center, order, and so on) to a profit center ensures that the data is passed on to Profit Center Accounting. The profit center cannot, however, be entered directly when the FI posting is made.
It is recommended that you define your cost elements so that the profit center field appears on the account assignment screen in Financial Accounting. This makes it possible for you to verify the assignment. You can do this in Customizing via the basis parameters for business transactions.
    SD
The assignment of a sales order to a profit center is passed from the sales order to the delivery note and then on to the billing document. The change in stock if posted to the profit center upon goods issue.
The following data is transferred from bills and debit and credit memos to Profit Center Accounting.
    Revenues
    Sales deductions (shipping, discounts etc.)
    Accruals (e.g. from rebate agreements)
The profit center is assigned at the item level of the sales order. As a default, the system proposes the profit center of the material in the supplier plant. If you require a different assignment, you have the following choices:
    ·        You can define your own substitution rules for profit center determination
    ·        You can enter the profit center manually
    MM
All the goods movements are created in Materials Management and, where necessary, reflected from a Profit Center Accounting point of view via a special account determination.
The profit center to which the data should be posted depends on which materials and which CO objects are involved.
The following MM activities are reflected in EC-PCA.
Example: Goods Receipt for Purchase Orders
Example: Goods Receipt for Production Orders
    Example: Invoice Receipt
Example: Goods Issue for Delivery Note
    Example: Change in Material Prices/Revaluation
    Example: Inventory Differences
    CO
All the secondary transfers between CO objects are selected and represented in the assigned profit centers.
You can represent the data in Profit Center Accounting by reflecting the original document directly, since only credits and debits arise on the CO objects involved in the transfers.
Also, The system can transfer the following activities from CO:
    Example: Order Settlement
    Example: Assessment/Distribution
    Example: Assessment to Profitability Analysis
    Example: Internal Cost Allocation
    Example: Transfer Postings
    Example: Calculation of Imputed Costs
Example: Transfer Price Allocation Between Partial Projects
Example: Settlement of Work in Process
    Example: Production Variances
    AA
The system selects all the profit‑related data from Investment Management and Asset Management from the creation, use and sale of assets.
When a new asset is constructed, the data of the capital investment measure is transferred to the profit center of the order or project on which it is based.
Imputed depreciation is transferred to the profit center to which the cost center of the asset is assigned. Likewise, profits or losses from the sale of assets are also transferred to the profit center of the cost center.
In Customizing for Asset Management, one depreciation area is assigned to Controlling. The data of this depreciation area is transferred to Profit Center Accounting.
    Hope this gives an idea.

  • Values flow from PS to COPA

    Dear Experts,
I am new to Project Systems. Our Implementation is based on Make to Order. My doubt is how the values will flow to COPA from Project Systems? What are required config should be done in COPA?
    Please assist me,
    Regards,
    Balaji Bhonsle.

    Hi
MTO based on sales order is as good as Project Systems....
If your Project is defined as a CO object to collect the costs, you need to settle the WBS to COPA...
IF Project is not a CO object, then settle the prod order to COPA

  • Depot Sales-Excise values are not flowing from J1iJ to VF01

    Hi Gurus,
In Depot Sales: while doing excise invoive from T-code J1iJ Go to delivery -RG23D selection select the delivery number XXXXX Excise Group 51 and series Group: 50 ENTER - select the line item and click on F6 and here we have to click on excise invoice Button for capturing the Input excise duties for taking the reference. And the excise values are shown here correctly.
Issue: In VF01- when we are raising the commercial invoice , the duty values are not flowing from the J1IJ transaction. Instead the values are showing Zero for all the three condition types namely JEXP, JECS and JHCS. We have used the Pricing Procedure ZINDEP and 356 routine.
Inputs on this how to solve will be highly appreciated.. as we are in critical stage.
What are the checks to be ensured to Get the values flow from J1IJ to VF01.
Scenario: STO from Mfrg Plant to Depot and Depot sales to customer.
Me21N-Me29N-VL10B-VL02N-VF01-J1IIn-MIGO-(STO process completes)-VA01-VL01N-J1IJ-VF01(duty values should flow from the J1IJ referenced Excise Invoice) Correct me if I am wrong.
Any user exits, Notes please let me know. I could not find any. I have gone through the forum threads, which speaks about 356 routine, J1ID- checks etc.
    Thanks&Regards
    Sreekanth:

    Hi!
Am sure you would have captured the Excise at Depot with J1IG.
Also, have you saved the billing document to check the duties?
Thirdly, after save, again open the billing doc and go to Header-Conditions then Save. This part does not seems logical, but i am sharing my practical experience.
Please check condition records if any.

  • Changed JAOQ values not flowing from J1IEX to MIRO

    Dear CIN experts,
We are having Dealers excise invoice capturing scenario in our implementation.
Here, we are capturing ADC for imported scrap at the time of posting J1IEX, which is not known at the time of punching PO. a nominal value has been maintained using JAOQ condition type.
While posting J1IEX, the actual excise values (BED, ECESS and SECESS) as in Traders excise invoice is captured including ADC.
All the values except AED (captured ADC) is flowing from J1IEX to MIRO, where as AED (JMOQ) is being picked up from Purchase order.
But this is not the case if JAOP is used to capture ADC in tax procedure. the changed AED value in J1IEX is flowing to MIRO.
Is this SAP standard behavior or is that SAP has not tested these scenarios?
kindly help to solve the issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ashwin..

    Hi Shankar,
    Thanks for the reply.
well, AED is almost non existent now. at least not in the scenario i have explained. this is about procurement of Metal Scrap. so the SAD that the import vendor has taken credit of is transferred to us through a dealer.
with JAOP, i can increase or decrease the value of AED mentioned in PO. but this is not happening with JAOQ (value condition).
With JAOQ, the value flows from PO, with JAOP, the value flows from J1IEX.
please let me know, if you require any more clarification on the above scenario.
    Thanks again for the help
    Ashwin.

  • Trigger ADF page flow from ESB

    Hi
I have couple of questions regarding ESB and ADF interactions.
My requirement is to launch a application (similar to a payment gateway) which takes the input parameters from client and performs some processing using couple of ADF pages. After my processing is done, i would like to direct the page flow to "success" or "failure" pages. the URL's for the success and failure pages would be provided by the client in the payload before launching the application.
    1. can a ADF flow be triggered from a ESB/BPEL process ?
    2. can the client apps page flow be modified by the result of my apps processing ?
any pointers to sample implementations or documentation would be really helpful.
    Thanks in advance

  • Excise Values are not flowing from J1IJ to VF01

    Hi All,
I am facing the problem in Invoice to Customer(from Depot). Excise Values are not flowing from J1IJ. I maintained Alt Cal type as 356 in Pricing procedure for Excise condition types. Even though its not flowing. I am using Tax Procedure TAXINN.
I have gone through SDN, everybody is suggesting about 356 routine.
My scenario is STO from Plant to Depot and Sale from Depot to Customer.
    ME21N->VL10B->VF01(Proforma)->J1IIN->MIGO->VA01(from Depot)->VL01N->J1IJ(Depot Excise)->VF01(Invoice to Customer)
In J1IJ, excise values are coming but in VF01 it is not coming.
    Kindly help me.
    With Regards
    Azeez.Mohd

    Hi,
in j1ig initial screen which excise group/series group i need to enter
is it of supplying plant or depot --- Enter Your Excise group
If i enter material document no say 5000000265 (corresponds to migo-101 at depot )& year
it'm getting error message excise invoice already exists for5000000265 --> Check the Year of material document
You can also use the Excise Invoice Details tab
Enter Vendor's Ex.Inv.No. , enter your STO's Excise Invoice No. and Click on Own factory and enter factory's Series Group in n case of STO from factory,
use Depot Excise Invoice in case of transfer from another depot
    and Excise Inv. Date
    On next screen,
In case of non availability of Internal Excise No., select the line item and click on button. On next screen, enter Excise Inv. No., Date, Challan Qty, Excise Base value, ensure that Excise Duty rates are maintained in respective duty rates column, you can also manually enter the excise duty amount and press Enter . System will give warning messages, press Enter for each message and press Back button. System will display the excise duty amount, check the same and click on Save button.
Hope this will resolve your issue.

  • Excise Duty Value not flow from J1IJ to VF01

    Hi SAP Expert,
I am facing the problem in Invoice to Customer(from Depot). Excise Values are not flowing from J1IJ for pricing procedure JINDEP. I maintained Alt Cal type as 356 in Pricing procedure JINDEP for Excise condition types JEXP. But it is still not flowing. I am using Tax Procedure TAXINN.
Do I need to go to VTFL In item level copying requirement to set pricing type: to C ??
But once i set, it will impact other billing document too. Please advise.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I have successfully posted Excise Invoice at Depot using J1iJ.
When i create billing via Vf01, i am unable to see the value of Excise Duty in item pricing condition from J1iJ.
I analyse the pricing condition for condition type JEXP, below is what i got :
This message tells you that the condition record exists, but has not been set in the document. If pricing was carried out again for the document item, then the condition would be set.
There are different reasons for this:
1.The condition was deleted manually in the item condition screen.
    2. The condition record was created later. Please note that order processing and pricing have buffer mechanisms. This means that a newly added condition record might only be found after order processing has been left completely and then started again.
If the condition type is used for subsequent settlement (rebate), there may be subsequent updating of business volume (the agreement is is created retrospectively). The document conditions do not contain the condition record, as the condition record was not created when pricing was carried out. Updating of business volume is carried out using special functions for subsequent settlement.
    1. When an item was added, the condition record was accessed with key fields other than change time. This could lead to different results in the requirements check at the time of adding and the change time. This can occur when modifications are made.
    2. In billing (or when copying orders): Certain condition types were not determined in the source document (this is usually controlled by the pricing requirements). When creating the document, the document flow (TVCPF,TVCPA) is processed using a pricing type that does not redetermine these condition types, although they are supposed to be called via the requirements.
Is it correct that i assigned routine 356 to Pricing Condition JINDEP ?

  • Round up all values in FI & other modules also

    Hi Experts,
We have an requirement that, while posing of any document in SAP, via FI like Cash / Bank / Expenses Voucher or any kind of document / voucher (may be coming from other modules also), the Decimal Points should not appear or value should be rounded up to nearast rupees.
Eg. if Amount is 145.32 the posting of the said amount must be 145.00 or 145 only.
Will it be possible to handled in SAP in all module or intially in FI Modules atleast.
    Please provide support.
    Regards,
    Kiran S Neve

    Hi,
Go to SPRO - A/R & A/P - outgoing payments - outgoing payments globally settings - Define Account for Rounding Differences.
You can also define tolerances, The system will automatically will accept the differences.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Everything working fine with in the project. I have a seperate project in my application having an index.jspx and region in it. I created the ADF lib jar file of the first project and imported to this project. I could invoke the task flow in the first project to the region in the index.jspx file in the seconed project. But none of the action managed bean method attached to the buttons in this view are working. The methods are not getting called on clicking on button and no error in the backend console of Integrated weblogic server.Any body can help what could be the issue ?
    Thanks
    Suneesh

The issue that is happening when I refreshed the region with task flow from the project I imported. If I load the taskflow from the imported project on first time rendering all my managed bean actions are executing but if I load a different flow initially and change the taskflow Id imported from other project none of the managed actions are working.

  • Fi validation -exclude tr code from other modules

I am setting up a validation at the Fi line item level. Now it is restricting some documents comming from MM which we don't want to. Is it possible to exclude some of the transaction codes from other modules to not to consider this validation.
I tried SYST-TCODE <> (T-Code from other modules like MM for eg: MIRO etc)
But that does not seem to work.
Does anyone know why and are there any options to get this done.
    Any help will be appreciated

    Hello,
    Please validate BKPF-AWTYP (reference procedure)
For postings done in FI its, BKPF and so for others it would change.
    This would be simple.
But for this check whether this field can be used for validation.
This can be done by checking table GB01, if not change the settings to make this field available for validation.

  • Dispatchig event from one module and listen it in an other module

    Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to dispatch event from module for example "M1" and listen this event to call the corresponding command but in an other module "M2". Knowing that M1 produces an swf "SWF1" and M2 produces an other swf "SWF2". For example :
    In the view of a module M1, I should have this statement : CairngormEventDispatcher.getInstance().dispatchEvent(new MyClassEvent(parm));
know in module "M2" I would like to know how to recover this event and then executing command corresponding to this event.
If it's not clear enough I can explain it again.
I need really your help for the rest of my development.
    Thank you in advance. :)

  • How to make data flow from one application to other in BPEL.

    Hi All,
I am designing work-flow of my application through BPEL(JDeveloper), I am making different BPEL projects for different functions, like sales manager got the order from sales person and sales manager either approve it or reject it, if he approve it it goes to Production manager and he ships the goods, now I want to keep sales person, sales manger, production manager in seperate BPEL files and want to get the output of sales person to sales manager and sales manager to production manager please help me in dong this.
I was trying to make partner link in Sales manager of sales person and getting the input from there. I dont know this is right even or not, if it is right I dont know how to make data flow from one application to other.
    Experience people please guide.
Sales Person -----> Sales Manager ----> Production Manager
    Thanks
    Yatan

    Yes you can do this.
If you each integration point to be in different process, you have to create three BPEL process.
    1. Create a Async BPEL process 'A' which will be initiated when sales person creates the order.
    2. From BPEL process 'A' call a ASync BPEL process 'B' which has the approval flow. Depending on the input from process 'A' the sales manager will review the order in workflow and approve or reject and send the result back to process 'A'.
    3. Based on the result from workflow, invoke the Sync BPEL process 'C', where you can implement the shipping logic.
