  • To show all months of qty values for each fiscal year in report?

    Our cube contains different fiscal years of order qty/delivered qty for a material (e.g. material A).  We use fiscal year variant V9 (Oct. - Sep).  We would like to generate the following query result to list the material, order qty, fiscal year, and then for each calender month, the delivered qty value for the corresponding fiscal year:
    Column title:
    Material --- Order Qty --- Fiscal Year --- Oct --- Nov --- Dec --- Jan --- Feb --- Mar --- Apr --- May --- Jun --- Jul --- Aug --- Sep
    Just give two rows of data for material A:
    1st row data example:
    A (material) --- 23 (Order Qty)  --- 2006 (fiscal year) --- 2 (delivered qty in Oct of the calendar year 2005 )  --- 4(delivered qty in Nov of the calendar year 2005 ) ---1 (delivered qty in Dec of the calendar year 2005 ) --- 5 (delivered qty in Jan of the calendar year 2006 ) --- .... 2 (delivered qty in Sep. of the calendar year 2006)
    2nd row data example:
    A (material) --- 45 (Order Qty)  --- 2007 (fiscal year) --- 3(delivered qty in Oct of the calendar year 2006 )  --- 6 (delivered qty in Nov of the calendar year 2006 ) ---1 (delivered qty in Dec of the calendar year 2006 ) --- 5 (delivered qty in Jan of the calendar year 2007 ) --- .... 2 (delivered qty in Sep. of the calendar year 2007)
    How to generate this query?
    Thanks!

    hi Chandran,
    Actually in each row data for material in different fiscal year, all the KFs in columns should be restricted to the fiscal year value.  What we do is to use selections other than structure or RKF.  What we is following listed in details that you can check if what we do is correct:
    Under KF structure:
    1. Create a selection for the 1st KF (Order Qty).  In this selection, Order Qty is restricted with the characteristic 0FISCYEAR.
    2. Create a formular as 2nd KF for the FY value.  This formula KF use the value of a formular variable with Replacement Path of the the characteristic 0FISCYEAR.  But somehow this KF value shows "X" values in this column.  We defined this Replacement Path variable with the Reference Characteristic as 0FISCYEAR and all others keep default.  But don't know why this column shows "X" values. We also add  0FISCYEAR to the row, and find the one does have data in the row.  Any idea why put it in formular variable onto column not working?
    3. Create a selecction for the 3rd KF (Oct). In this selection, restrict Delivered Qty with the characteristic 0CALMONTH2 (Calendar month) and further restrict 0CALMONTH2 to a fixed value: October
    4. Create a selecction for the 4th KF (Nov). In this selection, restrict Delivered Qty with the characteristic 0CALMONTH2 (Calendar month) and further restrict 0CALMONTH2 to a fixed value: November.
    Then the following steps are similar to step 3 and 4 to create all other Month columns.  We wonder in all these selections, would we have to restrict them further with 0FISCYEAR?
    Therefore we've got two questions:
    1. Why in step 2, the formular variable doesn't work and the FY column shows "X" values?
    2. Do we need to further restrict the delivered qty with the characteristic 0FISCYEAR for each month column which corresonding to the fiscal year in the same row?
    Thanks alot and we are keeping giving you reward points!

  • Select multiple items from a list box as values for a parameter of crystal report and Oracle procedure

    -  I have a  Product list box (asp.net) used as multiple selected values for  a parameter.
    - The Product ID is defined in the Oracle procedure as NUMBER data type.
    -  In my crystal report, I have a parameter field allow multiple values as p_product_id type as Number.  This is the code in my Record Selection Formula for the report:
    ({?p_product_id}[1] = -1 OR {Procedure_name.product_id} in {p_product_id})
    -  In C#, this is my code
    List<decimal?> productUnit = new List<decimal?>();
    int counter = 0;
    decimal prod;
    for (int i = 0; i < lstProducts.Items.Count; i++)
                  if (lstProducts.Items[i].Selected)

                                    productUnit.Add((decimal?)prod);
                                    counter++;
           if (counter == 0)
                       productUnit.Add(-1);
    ReportingDAO rDataFactory = new ReportingDAO();
    retVal = rDataFactory.GetProductReport(productUnit);

              ReportLogon rptLog = new ReportLogon();
             rptLog.Logon(retVal, "RPT_PRODUCT_DOWNLOAD");
             retVal.SetParameterValue("p_product_id", productUnit);
    I keep having the "Value does not fall within the expected range" when I debug.  My question is, is the data type I used for procedure/Crystal report/ and C# correct ?  I always have problem with the data type.  Any help would be

  • Passing different (multi-) values for parameters to drill-through report, based on clicked subtotal in main report

    In Report Builder 3.0, I have made a main report in which the user can filter the underlying dataset using three parameters (all multi-value). The report shows totals grouped by these three parameters, as well as a grand total. What I want is to click
    on a total, which then opens the drill-through report for the corresponding records. I have achieved this for the grand total; the action in the corresponding text box passes all selected values of the parameters to the drill-through report.
    What I cannot figure out is how to make this work right when clicking on a subtotal. When I use the same expression as for the grand total, the same values for the parameters are passed, instead of the subset that apply to the corresponding text box in the
    main report. I expected this to work, because Report Builder /does/ correctly calculate the SUMs for the different levels, even though the expressions are the same.
    My question is: how do I pass different drill-through (multi-) values for parameters, corresponding to the respective subtotals in the main report?
    (FYI: I am using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and Report Builder 3.0 .)

    Hello Katherine,
    Thanks once more for your quick reply.
    I was aware of the textbox action "Go to report", and how to pass parameters in general. My question concerned how to determine the scope of the passed multi-value parameters (to the values that apply to the respective group/subtotal). The article you linked
    to is informative, but not a solution to my problem.
    A colleague of mine came up with a pragmatic solution: instead of trying to determine the scope of the parameter values, now I "look to the left in the results table". The two screenshots below should illustrate this. (Screenshots are in Dutch. Specific information
    is pixelated.)
    Unfortunately, I am not able to post images. Once my account is verified, I will edit them in. For now, I hope the text speaks for itself enough.
    [Screenshot: Drill-through parameters - 01: Report Builder tablix with subtotals]
    [Screenshot: Drill-through parameters - 02: Textbox properties (selected in screenshot 01) - Action - Go to report]
    The first screenshot shows the tablix in the Report Builder. The second screenshot shows the properties of the textbox selected in the first.
    Notice that I do not pass parameters for the first two columns, but the actual values. I only pass the parameter (containing /all/ user-selected values) for the third column. In the textbox below the selected one, I pass the actual values for the first column,
    and parameters for the last two. In the textbox above the selected one, I pass the actual values for all three columns.
    The only (cosmetic) flaw this approach has is that in the drill-through report, the list of selected parameters might show values that do not occur in the (corresponding part of the) results, and only for those parameters for which the main report passes (all
    user-selected) parameter values, and not the actual values in the results. The results are correct, though.
    If there is a way to directly determine the scope of multi-value parameters for passing to a drill-through report, I would still like know. But for now, this seems to work.

  • Problem with default value for Billing when creating Business Partner

    In Sales Area data - Billing screen we want to default a value for Price List Type when creating a Busines Partner.
    We implemented  BADI 'BUPA_FRG0030_UPDATE'  and followed suggestions from another thread :
    Defaulting Currency Value to 'USD' during BP Creation.
    But This only seems to work when you change an existing BP.
    If we use FUNCTION 'CRM_BUPA_FRG0030_SAVE' in the BADI this function is called again by the system when saving the BP and causes a dump.
    Also the UPDATE functions only seem to work when you change an existing BP and not when creating one.
    Any suggestions if we can use another BADI or other function modules/methods ?
    Or some sample coding for implementing BUPAFRG0030_SAVE'  the correct way ?
    Thanks for the help,
    Steve

    Brent,
    When I use the latest build 10.1.3.3.81, this gets generated:
    <managed-property>
    <property-name>defaultValues</property-name>
    <map-entries>
    <map-entry>
    <key>ManagerId</key>
    <value>#{'#{jhsTypeConverter.stringToNumber['100']}'}</value>
    </map-entry>
    </map-entries>
    </managed-property>
    Which is slightly better, but still failing because the single quotes get mixed up.
    This should be generated:
    <managed-property>
    <property-name>defaultValues</property-name>
    <map-entries>
    <map-entry>
    <key>ManagerId</key>
    <value>#{"#{jhsTypeConverter.stringToNumber['100']}"}</value>
    </map-entry>
    </map-entries>
    </managed-property>
    which can be achieved by changing the defaultValuesBean.vm template like this:
    <managed-property>
    <property-name>defaultValues</property-name>
    <map-entries>
    #foreach ($defaultValue in $group.defaultValues.keySet())
    <map-entry>
    <key>$defaultValue</key>
    #if ($group.defaultValues.get($defaultValue).startsWith("#{"))
    <value>#{"$group.defaultValues.get($defaultValue)"}</value>
    #else <value>$group.defaultValues.get($defaultValue)</value> #end
    </map-entry>
    #end
    </map-entries>
    </managed-property>

  • How to select values for different fields in a report

    Beginner needs help!  I have five columns of linked data.  I want to show the counts of the number of "true" values in each column.  However when I set the first one to true none of the other rows which might be true for that instance when the first column is false show up anymore?  Any help appreciated.

    1st off how do you have your tables joined, suggest outter left joins.
    create a formula
    if (field) =true then 1 else 0
    use manual running totals to calcualte your values
    RESET
    The reset formula is placed in a group header report header to reset the summary to zero for each unique record it groups by.
    whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar  X := 0;
    CALCULATION
    The calculation is placed adjacent to the field or formula that is being calculated.
    (if there are duplicate values; create a group on the field that is being calculated on. If there are not duplicate records, the detail section is used.
    whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar  X := x + ; ( or formula)
    DISPLAY
    The display is the sum of what is being calculated. This is placed in a group, page or report footer. (generally placed in the group footer of the group header where the reset is placed.)
    whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar  X;

  • How to set the value for Power Cost in SCCM reports in Euro's?

    Hello,
    I have found out how to change the value of the 'cost' of the KWh for these reports (reporting) . But ther original settings where displayed and set in USD($) with some other values. I have of course changed the USD to EUR (€) in my case, but my question
    is: how do i know what I have to fill in in the field : costOfKwh, according my manager for my organisation it is in euro's 5,9 euroct/Kwh
    Do I have to fill in 5,9 or 0,59 or 0,059 ???
    Then also ther are some other values set in the original reports, like :
    KwhConsumptionDesktopComputerOn value = 0,07
    KwhConsumptionLaptopComputerOn  value = 0,02
    KwhConsumptionDesktopMonitorOn    value = 0,03
    Do i have to leave this settings ?

    Yes, I know this is an old post, I’m just trying to clean them up.
    The default of 0.09 is 9 cents/ KwH so  I’m assume that 5.9 cent (euro) so that you bet 0.059
    BTW if you have edit the report to change $ to € then you can also set eh default value to whatever the current power cost is too.

  • Set value for textarea field in tabular report

    Hi all,
    I need some help setting textarea values in a tabular report. The tabular report is for users to be able to build their own ad hoc report, by specifying which columns should be included and filtered. Here are the example tables:
    -- Table that holds all of the data for the report.
    create table vehicle (
      make varchar2(50),
      model varchar2(50),
      type varchar2(50),
      year number);
    insert into vehicle values ('Toyota','Camry','Sedan','2008');
    insert into vehicle values ('Toyota','4Runner','SUV','2008');
    insert into vehicle values ('Honda','Civic','Compact','2011');
    insert into vehicle values ('Honda','Accord','Sedan','2010');
    insert into vehicle values ('Ford','F150','Truck','2011');
    -- Table that holds the columns that are available to be filtered in report.
    create table vehicle_cols (
      col_id varchar2(50),
      col_label varchar2(50));
    insert into vehicle_cols values ('make','Vehicle Make');
    insert into vehicle_cols values ('model','Vehicle Model');
    insert into vehicle_cols values ('type','Vehicle Type');
    insert into vehicle_cols values ('year','Vehicle Year');
    -- Table that holds filters saved by user.
    create table vehicle_user_saved (
      saved_rpt_name varchar2(50),
      col_id varchar2(50),
      col_value varchar2(50));
    insert into vehicle_user_saved values ('Saved Report One','make','Toyota');
    insert into vehicle_user_saved values ('Saved Report One','make','Honda');
    insert into vehicle_user_saved values ('Saved Report One','model','Sedan');
    insert into vehicle_user_saved values ('Saved Report Two','make','Honda');
    insert into vehicle_user_saved values ('Saved Report Two','year',2010);And below is the source query for the region. The textarea value is initially set to null.
    -- Region Source for specifying query parameters.
    select
      col_label,
      apex_item.checkbox(1,'#ROWNUM#','CHECKED') as include_cols,
      apex_item.hidden(2,col_id)
      || apex_item.textarea(3,null,2,100) as filter_cols
    from
      vehicle_cols;When a user clicks the button to load the parameters for a report they have previously saved, I'd like to change the values in the textarea field from null to the saved values from the vehicle_user_saved table so the user can see the parameters and run the report, or modify the parameters if necessary.
    I thought I could run a PL/SQL process (After Footer) when the button is clicked to populate these textarea fields, but the test below doesn't do anything:
    begin
      apex_application.g_f03(1) := 'Hello';
    end;For example, when a user selects to load "Saved Report One," the following parameters should be loaded into the textarea fields:
    Column >> Filtered Columns
    Vehicle Make >> Honda, Toyota
    Vehicle Model >> Sedan
    Vehicle Year >> Null
    Vehicle Type >> NullCan someone help me out? I wouldn't think I need Ajax for this since it's ok to be processed after the button click. But if I do need to use Ajax, I definitely could use some help with it, as I've never used Ajax before. I've setup this example in my hosted account to help.
    Site: http://apex.oracle.com
    Workspace: MYHOSTACCT

    Hi, thanks for your response.
    I'm not adding any new rows, I'm just trying to change the values of the textarea fields in the tabular report when the user chooses to load his/her saved parameters. The default for the textarea field in all rows is null, because I assume users will want to start building the report from scratch. However, when the user clicks the button to load his/her saved values, I want to overwrite the null values with new values. How can I do that?
    Thanks,

  • Troubles finding values for a RE-FX's Report

    Hi gurus,
    After all this time fighting with a REFX's  report, I debugged the RECN Transaction and I found the method that calculates the value I am trying to show, ( especially beacause none of the RE's bapis have the field I need )
    I found in the class CL_REAJ_METHOD, there is the following methid IF_REAJ_METHOD~GET_DETAIL_BY_CONDITION that calculates the value I am looking for.
    The exactly value is the last adjustment method, which is got from the get_last_adjm_date method.
    I wonder if somebody has any idea how to use or get that value ... I am sincerely desperate with this issue...

    Helpfull since it's logical that the processor connector with set the height. Just beware that the ones you showed me, for the cube are female-female. And the Quicksilver, like the Gigabit and DA will take female-male since they have females embedded (permanently) in the metal sheet covering the case's lid. I'll get two pairs of the Gigabit ones, and apply one pair to the quicksilver. thanks.

  • Table with Values for Displaying Icons in a Report

    I have found a report that displays red, green and yellow lights to help users to quickly review the results.
    Code has statements such as WRITE: AT /1 '@5B@' AS ICON. "(GREEN LIGHT)
      WRITE: AT /1 '@5C@' AS ICON. "red light
    I would like to know where I can go in SAP to see what other ICONS can be displayed and what the code would be.
    For example - I found the writing WRITE: AT /1 '@5D@' AS ICON - and using @5D@ you get a yellow warning.

    Rob,
    Code value will not be available in table ICON.
    its available in Type group ICON

  • Value for last period in a reporting year

    I have a requirement to create a key figure and restrict it by creating a user exit variable the details are as follows:
    1. User inputs Fiscal Year: 2009
    2. We create a Key Figure which is restricted (exit variable am able to do this) by FISCPER 0122009
    Just to confirm that because we are in a period which is earlier then 0122009 it will show 0 if there are no postings for 0122009 and not the last period value say for 0042009
    Thanks

    Nitin,
    Just to confirm that because we are in a period which is earlier then 0122009 it will show 0 if there are no postings for 0122009 and not the last period value say for 0042009
    --> If restriction against 0122009 and no posting during that period, you will get Zero only.
    Instead of year as User input, make it Fiscal Period as User input and derive Year.
    Provide more details of requirement.

  • Default value for Sold to Party and Reported By with Support Message

    I have customized the service desk scenario and went through the entire service desk implementation guide part I blog that talks about the partner setup.
    When I create a support message through the service desk scenario (under help) in the satellite system it does default the sold-to-party and the reported by person in the resulting document.
    When I create a support message in Solution Manager out of DSWP or SOLAR02 it does as well.
    However when I create the support message out of Solution Manager under help it does NOT default the sold to party and reported by, and I always have to correct that in the document later on.
    Has anyone experienced this before and can tell me why this happened. Obviously has something to do with setting up the partner in Solution Manager, but I do not understand how it can work for the Satellite system but not in Solution Manager itself.
    Thanks

  • Default search value for Query By Example Report

    Is there any way I can add the wildcard % as a default search value for text fields in the customization screen for a QBE report? The aim is to relieve the user from knowing that you have to input the wildcard % in the search field.
    Also, Is there a way to change the label of the standard 'Close' button, which is a bit misleading as it actually takes you back to the report customisation window?
    Cheers,
    Arnt

    Hi,
    You can give default values for bind variables in sql report and not for QBE reports. Also it is not possible to remove the close button.
    Thanks,
