HI jack,
The variable '%_SEL_%_APP_%-VALU_PUSH' declared here falls under SAP naming conventions and doesn't have any special meaning.
and you can not create a select options on your own screen as this comes and type M programs.
you can create select options only on the screen 1000 which is of executable program type 1.

  • How to display the values from the table in the screen

    Hi,
I have created a screen where i will enter the values for the field treshold amount and desc and if i press update button  .it will update the new values by overriting the existing values .
Now i have got requirement i need to create a button show which will display the existing value from the table. always there will be only one entry...in this table
Please can one give me idea...to do this
    or sample code...thanks in advance
    regards
    paveeeeee

Define a function code 'SHOW' for your button. In your PAI module, when you check for various sy-ucomms, check for 'SHOW' also.
Your code will be like this:
    Case sy-ucomm.
      when 'SHOW'.
         perform show_details.
    endcase.
In the perform, you can fetch the data from the table and put it in global variables. In the PBO, move the data from the global variables to the screen fields so that they get displayed on the screen.
Hope this helps. Reward points for useful answers.

  • Error while using selection option variable in the selection screen

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue while using selection option variable in the selection screen for one of my reports.
Scenario: For the field "Region From" we need to have wild card logic () in tes selection screen, for example if we put "BE" in the selection screen for the field Region From then the query should be executed only for those "Region From" values which begin from "BE".
Approach: For the above requirement I have made a selection option variable for "Region From". This allows use wild card
But when the report is executed we get the following error:
"System error in program CL_RSR_REQUEST. Invalid filter on ETVRGNFR".
(ETVRGNFR is technical name of the info object Region From)
Though the report is executed it displays all the values for the field "Region From" irrespective of the selection given in the selection screen.
Please give suggestions / alternate solutions to crack this issue.
    Thanks in advance

    Priyanka.

  • Problem with variable in the woorkbook selection screen.

    Hi All,
I have Problem with Variable in the selection screen. I have four variable in the report in this sequence
<b>Plant (optional), calendar month (mandatory),  material (optional), Customer (mandatory). </b>
In Development system, I changed the query to fix the problem for a formula. saved and executed the query. In the selection screen appeared four variables and executed. after executing the query and I saved the work book also. I logged out of the Bex Analyzer. In the RSRT I generated the report by clicking the Generated Report push button. and again logged into the Bex analyzer and ran the work book, now in the selection screen, appeared three Variables only, I am missing the variable <b>Customer</b>.
The old report which is already  in the Production system is working fine. What could be the mistake I did in the development system.
It is very urgent, I need to deliver this object as soon as possible.
Can I anybody help on the same.
    Thanks in advance

    Yunus,
I did what you said. I removed the variable from characteristic restrictions, saved the query and executed the query, appeared three variables Plant, Calender month and material. executed and saved the work book. disconeted from Bex analyzer, in RSRT Generated Report and logged into Bex analyzer ran the work book for selection Plant, calender month and material and went into change query definition and added the variable for customer which was removed earlier and and ran the query for selections Plant, Calender monmth, Material and customer. saved the work book. disconnected from Bex analyzer and closed all excel sheets and work books. In RSRT Generated Report and again connected to Bex analyzer and ran the work book, now appeared only three variables again missed variable customer.
Yunus does any missed n the procedure what i did.

  • Controlling the blank variable on the selection screen

Hi, I have a query with five keyfigures and each keyfig is restricted by a variable. The variables are BP, ID, Street, City, Country, Postcode. And when I input the value in one variable or two i just wnat to display that data relates to the input criteria.
Eg: When I enter BP: 1019089 and City: NewYork, here i jsut wnat to see bp and the BPs relates to Newyork. But in my case I'm also getting info relates to all coutries, streets and postcode (I want to restrict this data how ?).
Because ID, Street, Country and Postcode variable are blank on the selection screen, it is displaying everything.
How to restrict displaying data for blank variables. Please suggest. Thanks

You will need to use custom exit variables. Check out "Using Customer Exit Variables in BW Reports". Parts 1 - 4:

Your code is absolutely unreadable - even if someone was willing to
help, it's simply impossible. I do give you a few tips, though: If you
understand your code (i.e. if it really is YOUR code), you should be
able to realize that your minimum and maximum never get set (thus they
are both 0) and your exam 3 is set with the wrong value. SEE where
those should get set and figure out why they're not. Chances are you
are doing something to them that makes one 'if' fail or you just
    erroneously assign a wrong variable!

  • Is it possible to skip the screen in BDC using IF statement.

    Hi Friends,
I have written a report using BDC for tcode CO11 thru recording using CALL TRANSACTION.
    Case 1:
If I go to transaction CO11 (screen number 100) and give the  order number which has more than 1 operations to be partially confirmed and press ENTER a pop-up screen (screen number 140) appears where in I need to select the operation number and after selecting the required operation number it automatically takes me to another screen (screen number 150).
    Case 2:
If I go to transaction CO11 (screen number 100) and give the  order number which has only 1 operation to be partially confirmed and press ENTER it directly takes me to screen 150 skiping screen 140.
When I enter the order number which has more than 1 operations to be partially confirmed on my selection screen, my code is working fine as needed.
But, when I enter the order number which has 1 operation to be partially confirmed on my selection screen, it is giving me error in my BDCMSGCOLL saying that the screen 140 doesn't exist.
Is there any way, Can I skip screen 140 using IF statement?
    My thoughts:
    1. calling screen 100.
After calling screen 100, I have put the pop-up operation numbers in an ITAB.
          DESCRIBE table lines ITAB <variable>.
          At NEW <order-field>.
          IF <variable> = 1.
    2. calling screen 140. "I need some help here to skip the screen 140
                                        " Will this logic work?
          ENDIF.
          ENDAT.
    3. calling screen 150.
    Rest everything is working fine.
Will my above logic works correctly? I would appreciate if someone could help me with this.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
    Try something like this:
    1. Call Screen 100.
Check if screen 140 needs to be called depending on your custom logic. Lets say you populate a variable as 'X' if it needs to be called.
    Then write:
    if valiable = 'X'.
      Call screen 140.
      Enter Screen 140 details.
    endif.
    Call screen 150.
Here the 'Call Screen' is nothing but the code you extracted after BDC recording.
    Thanks.

  • VOFM - Vales not getting changed in the Screen

    Hi,
I am working on the VOFM routines and want to change the condition value for gross price using the same.
I have created the routine number 600 in the application V1.
I have put a breakpoint in the routine which is getting triggered. But when I try to change the value of the variable XKWERT, the
same does not reflect in the screen and it still shows the original condition value.
I read many posts on SDN and tried those suggestions, but in vain. What could be the possible reasons for the same.
    Regards,
    Sagar

    Hi Madhumahesh,
Thanks for the reply. Please find below the code:
    DATA :  lv_kwert TYPE kwert.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS : <lfs_xkomv> TYPE KOMV_INDEX,
                    <lfs_tkomv> TYPE KOMV.
*calculate the value of Excise Duty
      CALL FUNCTION '/BGT/ED_PRICING_PURCHASE'
        EXPORTING
          i_komk        = komk
          i_komp        = komp
       IMPORTING
          e_wert        = lv_kwert.
      IF lv_kwert IS NOT INITIAL.
        xkwert = lv_kwert.
    *modify XKOMV
LOOP AT xkomv ASSIGNING <lfs_xkomv> WHERE kschl = 'ZI11'.
          <lfs_xkomv>-kwert = lv_kwert.
       ENDLOOP.
    *modify TKOMV
LOOP AT tkomv ASSIGNING <lfs_tkomv> WHERE kschl = 'ZI11'.
          <lfs_tkomv>-kwert = lv_kwert.
        ENDLOOP.
        UNASSIGN : <lfs_xkomv>, <lfs_tkomv>.
    ENDIF.
But after coming out of "Condition Value formula", these values are overwritten by the standard SAP code (as described above in earlier posts- by RETTKOMV in Include LV61AA55).
Kindly let me know what I'm missing in my code.
    Awaiting for your valuable response.
    Best regards,

  • Second monitor "hide" the programs behind the screen background.

    Hi!
Updated my system a couple of days ago. When I rebooted, my second screen comes up as normal, except I can't get anything to show on that screen.
The primary screen works as normal. The second screen shows the background and conky, but when I try to open anything on the screen, it opens, kind of behind the background. I can use the program, and drag it to the first screen. Then I see it. It's almost like the screen background covers it.

  • Kludge to make less, vim et al. leave the screen uncluttered enjoy!

I have written a script which leaves the screen uncluttered when finishing less.
This script is written for bash in the "good old terminal", but works well with
iTerm too. I wrote this script because less is opposite of more as less is so
much more as more is so much less.
I hope you will use this script and reap the rewards of using less while reading
textfiles, gaining from less's features, avoiding the cluttering which may have
made you disliking using less. You can make a copy of the script and modify and wrap
the script around any other characterbased program which clutters your terminal screen.
The script works by beeing placed in your ~/bin which I assume is before
/usr/bin in your $PATH where the binary less resides. You must modify the paths
in the script if they are different from that. (both the binary less, the script,
    and the kludge.scr)
The script installs an interrupthandler which are triggered by changing the
windowsize. The interupthandler figures out what it must do to preserve
your screen when you exit less, and just does so, except for four characters
to the extreme left on one line. (wich may well be part of your prompt).
The interrupthandler gets its work done, by calling a kludge which are
relatively referenced in the script from your homefolder, -presumes ~/bin
    - YOU MUST EDIT THE SCRIPT OTHERWISE. The configuration is like it is because
that is what it takes to make the correct things happen in bash.
I think this could have been accomplished much easier using another shell,
but most people uses bash, especially newcomers, and they deserve to have
it as easy as possible, while reaping the productivity gains laying dormant
in the Unix core, so I hope you will share the script with you liberally,
if you think it is worth the time and the work it takes to "install" it.
I hope you will give this script a try, as to make less work comfortably for you,
I have included an environment variable with all settings I like in less, which
    you may modify.
Less was the first program I had that made me think "wow" back in 1986, beeing used
to the "more" command, - which was, and is so much less than less. You can for instance
invoke BBedit with a file you are viewing in less by pressing "v" if you have BBedit
specified in the $EDITOR variable. You can pipe some text to the clipboard.
Or you can pipe some lines out of a document you are viewing in less and into
a file while viewing, you can load it with multiple files, and search them all,
a programemer can make less work with tagfiles; you can have less create a logfile
of what you read and, you can even scroll backwards. All in all less is a very handy
tool which I think everybody would gain from using,in opposite to more.
Especially when it leaves the screen uncluttered.
Great care have been taken in order to make this kludge work properly.
Still I MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTIES ABOUT WHATSOEVER AND ANYTHING.
-USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
You may do whatever you wish to do with it, aside from selling it alone, but you
are free to do whatever that you please with it, aside from distributing
malfunctioning copies or incomplete copies or tinker with the Copyright notice
    in the scripts.

Hi!, EmileG: From connectivity kit, connected to HP PRIME, you can ... Copy Screen opens the Screen Shot dialog box from where you copy or, save an image of  the virtual calculator screen. You can leave this dialog box open as you prepare instructional materials and reports that require screen captures  from the calculator. The Screen Shot  dialog box has the following options and buttons:• Border: A slider bar to give the image a boarder and change the thickness, of the border.• Size: A slider bar that changes the size, of the image.• Capture:  Update  the image, to reflect the current state of the  virtual calculator display.• Copy: save  a copy  of  the  current  image to  the clipboard.• Save: save  a copy  of  the  image to  a file. In  this case, you  can specify a name and location  for the saved  file.• Close: close the Copy  Screen  dialog box.

  • Is it possible to use a part of the screen area

Maby a silly question, but has anyone an idea how to play a game for example on a partial area of the hugh 27inch screen? Is there a utility that places full screen applications like games within a window (games that don't have a window mode on its own)?
It seems to me it would be practical (especially) for children to use just about 20inch on the lower part of the screen when playing games with quick moving objects.
    tnx

The variable "name" is a lot less important than you think. In fact, when your code is compiled, the computer doesn't care one jot about the name of the variable.
You should not worry about trying to do this, but rather should tell us the reason why you would even want this. If we knew that, we could show you a better way, guaranteed.

  • When I render my video I get a black bar on the left side of the screen

I just upgraded to FCS 2 and so far it's been a complete waste of money. I'm having nothing but problems with FCP, Compressor, and QMaster. I will just post my FCP problem here.
I've edited a weekly video podcast and everything looks great, until I render it and export it. When I render it, I get a constant, solid black bar on the far left of the video that takes up about 5% of the screen. My layers are definitely sized correctly to fill up the entire canvas, and they are all centered. I cannot figure out why I am getting this black bar or how to get rid of it without ditching the upgrade and going back to FCP5.1.
I have already tried completely uninstalling the FCS suite and reinstalling. No luck. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply.
My original source material is in Apple Intermediate Codec, with 32-bit float audio and a variable frame rate. This has not been friendly to FCP, so I use Quicktime to convert it to Apple ProRes with 24-bit audio and 29.97 frame rate. This is what I import into FCP.
My sequence settings are set to the same specs as my source material. 854x480, square pixels, no field dominance, Apple ProRes compression.
The black bar on the left side of the screen shows up before I even export. It shows up when I render everything.
I am exporting with Quicktime Conversion to:
    MP4
    h.264 codec
    720x405
    1000 video bit rate
    Main Profile
    No cropping/filters or anything.
The ONLY thing I did different before upgrading to FCP6 was that I used Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through. I was told by an FCP instructor that writes and publishes all kinds of FCP training material that I should upgrade to FCP6 and use the Apple ProRes422 Codec instead, so that's what I'm trying to do.
I am going back to restart my project using Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through like I used to, but it will be awhile before I can tell if that solved the problem. Either way, I would like to be using the ProRes codec....
    Thoughts?
