VAT notification against 'C' forms w.e.f. 02.04.2010

Hi,
As per VAT notification issued by Haryana  Govt. the Surcharge has been levied  on sales  @ 5% made in the state and outside the state i.e. on Vat and CST except on the sales made against 'C' forms w.e.f. 02.04.2010.
In that case SAP provides any Patches / snote for above mentioned..
or
We have to create the same.
Plz guide.

Patch updation is a periodical process which your basis team should be aware of.  As I already told you, there is no corelation between tax code and patch updation.

  • Multiple notification against single inspection lot (03 inspection type)

    Dear friends
While recording the defects multiple times against single inspection lot (03type) , all the defects are added in single notification, but my client requirement is they want different notification.  if any body knows please tell me.
Note : in inspection type there is a option of multiple notification against single inspection lot, but this is
not working (i think it will work only serial number, equipment and  functional location get changed)
    Please do the needful
    Regards

    Hi Karthikeyan
As you mentioned it is not possible to create notification  other than based on the object types.
A work out can be make an action box in the notification for creating another notification with the help of ABAP ( call transaction QM01) and while doing this the entire datas of the inspection lot gets copied into the notification. you may have to use a user exit also.
Defect can be recorded in the item level by the user.
    Sounds difficult but certainly possible

  • PM Notification Adobe Interactive Form - How to Start?

    Hi experts!
I´m kind of new to the Adobe interactive form creating process.
We have a requirement of turning the SAP Plant Maintenance notifications into a more friendly, adobe interactive form.
My question is, how do I start to develop this?
It is basically placing the PM Notification in an adobe form, so the users will open these notifications using adobe forms.
The same fields are being used and they have everything on SAP Netweaver Portal.
Any advice on how to begin? Maybe some links to documentation would be great...
Thanks so much and best regards,
    Fernando

    Hi,
I would like to suggest to take steps like this:
    1. Start with the Printing-Report (not the interface of the adobe form)...  usually you can make a copy of the includes(get_data) of standard printing report...
    2. Try to customize(spro) the new form with new the printing programm..
    3. Does the call work to you see the adobe form ... an so on...
    4. Now you r on half way ... decide to use standard include for getting data.. or use some bapi in the interface of your form to get all data that you need.
thats it ... (for a not interactive form)

  • Update query against InfoPath form data

    Hi,
We are using SharePoint Enterprise 2010, and have set up a series of InfoPath forms to manage various aspects of the projects we run (request forms, change control, toll gating, status reports, etc).  The forms are all created in InfoPath and save the
data to form libraries on SharePoint.
We are in the process of revamping the status report.  The fields for Accomplishments, Planned Activities, Risks and Dependencies were origianally set up as plain text.  We are moving to a bullted field for each.  My concern is that once we
add the new fields to the published form, the old ones will disappear fom view.  So if we pull up an older status report, the information wont be available to view.
Is there any way to write an update query against this form data?  Supposed I add a new bulleted field for "Accomplishments_NEW" and change the existing field to "Accomplishments_OLD".  If I were working with in Access, it would
be a simple update query where the field selected would be "Accomplishments_NEW" and the update value would be "Accomplishments_OLD".  I have actually tried this through Access but we only seem to be able to read this data through
    Access, not write to it.
Is there any way to make such a change on the SharePoint side?
    Dennis

    Yes.
The approach is to add two fields:
    - Accomplishments_v2 and Accomplishments_v1_Loaded (true/false)
when the form loads, if _v1_Loaded is false, migrate the data from the old field into _v2, and then set _v1_loaded = true

    Hi,
you can find documentation for Designer under this website
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/10.0/documentation.html#task=4,5&module=2
In Designer you can use the JavaScript API of Acrobat.
So the Devnet for Acrobat is also a good source.

  • How to genetare reports(ssrs) with form library's data in sharepoint 2010

    Hi,
How to genetare reports (ssrs) with form library's data in sharepoint 2010.I am saving infopath(2010) xml form data in form library.I have 500 and more forms in the form library( more forms can come in future). How to generate reports from this xml data (i
want to make it automate)? Reports should get updated automatically when any changes made to data and if new form entered in the library.
Please suggest possible solutions.I can not go for code base solution.( somthing SSIS, BCS or web service ....etc or anything else will be fine)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to generate SSRS report with form library in SharePoint 2010.
In order to use the data stored on the InfoPath form, you need to add the controls on the form to be columns in SharePoint(This is the OOTB way without code).
You can add the control during the publish process:
Then when you create the SSRS report using the form library as the data source, you can use the fields just as the fields created in SharePoint.
There is a tool called InfoPath DB in codeplex, you can have a look at it.

  • Migrate Infopath forms from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010

    Hi,
    Please provide help
Migrate infopath 2007 forms in MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010

How many forms do you have that needs to migrate from 2007 to 2010?
You can also open the 2007 forms in Designer mode of InfoPath 2010, save as 2010 filler or browser.
You need to make sure data connections are updated to point to new sites/document libraries/lists etc.
Any custom code that may contain data connections should be updated.
Inspect Rule Inspector to see if you find any connections hardcoded anywhere.

  • Email notifications within Adobe Forms doesn't appear to work

I have created a form and set up a notification for this to be emailed to my email address whenever completed but responses not coming through. These are not going into a spam folder so don't appear to be sending at all.
Can you advise what is causing this?

I think this might be an attempt by IE9 to be more 'standards compliant'.
The original proposal (/standard?) back in 1996 can be found at:
    http://web.archive.org/web/20061218002753/wp.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/2.0/relnotes/demo/proxy-live.html
    And includes:
    >> which will be called by the Navigator in the following way
for every URL that is retrieved by it:
    More info here:
    http://homepage.ntlworld.com./jonathan.deboynepollard/FGA/web-browser-auto-proxy-configuration.html
So, theoretically, the proxy list should be checked for every single object fetch attempted by the browser.
In practice, some level of caching has historically been employed - As discussed in articles above.
It looks to me like someone in the IE team said "Lets follow the letter of the original design, and check every time - Heck, CPUs are fast enough these days to cope with a few lines of Javascript..."
But 'probing' a dead proxy every time seems to be the problem. The above articles mention a 30 minute 'dead' proxy cache, that would help a bit, but still -every 30 minutes you would get 1 terrible page load time... A proxy that doesn't respond within a
few seconds should probably be considered 'dead', at least for a short time...
Interestingly, Chrome instantly detects a dead proxy in the blink of an eye and explicitly tells you the problem (unlike IE9, which gives a typically cryptic message). Is it any wonder
    Chrome is trouncing IE...
So is it an IE fault, or a fault in the original design and IE9 is just being "very standards compliant"? I'll let the reader decide!
(By the way - I was just 'passing through' trying to figure out my own proxy auto-config problems...)
I wonder if you could build your own 'dead proxy detector' (With necessary caching) into the FindProxyForURL() code...

  • Client, Victim of Piracy, Wants Copy Protection Against ALL forms of copying

I have a client who produces instructional videos, and due to his fame and demand for these videos, the traditional DVDs have been pirated and he stopped production this year upon discovery.
This summer, his manager talked him into doing the videos again, but this time only releasing them online, through his web site, using heavy copy protection, perhaps something like Artiscope. While this can thwart most digital copying, my client also wants to prevent copying with a camcorder off the screen. I don't believe there is currently any rendering technology that can do this, and Googling the topic found nothing but encrypting against digital copying.
So my question is whether anyone knows of a company that makes a product that causes video to be viewable to the naked eye, but not recordable with a camcorder?
I have been thinking about ways to implement this myself, and my thoughts are along the lines of the methods used to protect checks (microprinting) and currency from copying. The protection results in a severely degraded copy, perhaps revealing a watermark, when the copying resolution is not the same as the original printing.
For a video, something like a 50% checkerboard matrix of pixels with the video and another with reversed video colors, where the video could be viewed normally, but the slight blurring of a camcorder lens would blend the pixels together and result in a grey solid area instead of video. Obviously there is a fundamental flaw with this, in that the naked eye would see a confusing image, even if it could decipher it, but I'm bringing it up just to show you what direction my thinking is taking on this.
If it is possible, and there is a product, my client wants to know where he can get it and how much it will cost. If not, I need a credible source to state that such technology is impossible in the current state of the art and that he's wasting his time with any such efforts.
So what do you embedded video experts think? Is there tech on the horizon that can address camcorder copying AND encryption? Or will this be way too far in the future?

As far as I know you can't prevent screen capturing (In almost all cases), I think he really needs to understand that when people are determined to steal it, they are going to do it.
The only thing I know of that can even come close to being able to prevent using a camera to record something (then being able to actually watch the recording) is "cinavia". It can also detect if you try to screen capture it (then play it back) and it also can detect if you encode it to another format. Basically when you try to play it back it checks for differences in audio and if it detects it then it stops playing.
Here is a article that explains it go towards the bottom to see how it stops using camcorders. The catch is though it only actually works when the media is attempted to be played back on devices that support it's tech. Which at the moment isn't much, except PS3's and some Blu-ray players.
    http://www.anandtech.com/show/5693/cinavia-drm-how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-love-blu rays-selfdestruction/3+
I'd really recommend checking out that entire article.
Basically though as far as I know I don't think you'll actually have a chance at being able to use this option, because I think you probably would have to spend silly sums of cash to do it. Someone else here might have more insight than me about this though.

  • HTML Form Not Displaying Correctly in Outlook 2010 (Exchange 2013)

    Hello,
I have recently migrated to Exchange 2013. Clients are still using Outlook 2010. There is an application that automatically sends an HTML form by email for the users to fill in. The form consists of radio buttons, text areas and drop down list. However,
in Outlook 2010, the form is not rendered properly.
When I clicked the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" link, the email is opened in
IE and the form is displayed correctly.
I also tried opening the same email in other clients, such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail Client and in mobile phones - the form is displayed correctly. I wonder
why it fails to do so in Outlook 2010. The user mentioned that this does not happen in Outlook 2003 and prior to migration (I used Exchange 2010 previously). I have also tried using OWA, but the form does not display correctly
    Any help?
Note: I can't attach any images or links as it is mentioned that my account is not verified yet. I will post some screenshots when it is possible to do so

    Hi
Outlook 2007 or newer use Microsoft Word for their HTML engine.
You can refer this page http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ shows
many things that do not work in different clients.I think Someone needs to re-code
the HTML form to make it work in the current versions of Outlook. You can try formatting with text and HTML and see the results.

  • Not able to open infopath form connected with database in sharepoint 2010

    Hi,
I have created one infopath form which is connected with sql server database.
Now when i am trying to open this form from sharepoint, its giving me following error:
Please help to solve this issue.
    Thanks & Regards
    rajni

    Hello,
If i understood you correctly, you have SP list and there are some records. Now you want to open your infopath form when clicks on add new item in the same list. I am still confuse about "from table 'Account'" this line. Are you saying that you are fetching
records from SQL table to PS list?
Anyway, you can modify the existing list form infopath so you could be able to open the infopath form instead of default newform.aspx page. Later you can create a new data connection in that customize form to display data in table format from same list.
You can follow this video for connection:

  • How to display different headings in list form using "hide content" in SPD 2010

I built a custom list form in SPD, and applied conditional formatting in some rows
Now I like to display different headings (above the 1st row of the form), based on the same condition:
e.g. when Status=available, display the heading "SIGN OUT"  (as the item is available for sign-out)
when Status=on-loan, display the heading "SIGN IN" (as the item can be signed in)
right now I put the two different heading in two lines in the heading space:
    SIGN OUT
    SIGN IN
I tried following and it works for this part:
    select the text SIGN IN
select "create' in "Conditional formatting" pane
    select Hide Content
    Set: Status=available
    click OK
Then the "SIGN IN" text disappeard.
But how can I set another conditional formatting to show only "SIGN IN" when Status=on loan?

    Hi,
If you like to show "sign out" when status=available and show "sign in" when status=on-loan.
Please try modify the Conditional Formating rule as below:
Select the text SIGN IN, show content, status not equals available
Select the text SIGN OUT, show content, status not equals on-loan

  • Outlook controls in custom form region created in Visual Stdio 2010

    Hi,
Is it possible to use all the outlook controls (e.g. Body control, Send button) in custom form region created in Visual studio.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,
Which control you are not able to use? Based on my understanding, there are two ways to custom the form region in Outlook.
First is creating a new form region by using the wizard. The second is importing a form region designed in Outlook.
In the second secnario, we can use add native Outlook controls to the form region. Native Outlook controls enable you to bind to Outlook data at design time. However, you cannot then use the form region designer to add managed controls or change the design
    of the form region.
You can get more detail about this topic form link below:
