VAT reconciliation report - document date variable

Hello!
I am trying to have document date in VAT reconciliation report instead of posting date.
I do not have system variable value for this.
Have tried to search through PLD_Vars Excel document, but without any luck...
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Dejan
P.S. I forgot to say that the document id is REC10003

This PLD is in fixed format.  That means everything is hard coded.  There is no where you can find any other variables but the variables on the PLD fields only.

  • Variable for Document Date in Customer Receivable Aging

    Hi all,
This is regarding u201CCustomer Receivable Aging u2013 Detailsu201D in SBOne.
In the print layout, I found 3 types of date in system variables i.e.
    1) system variable 184 = Due Date
    2) system variable 185 = Posting Date
    3) system variable 187 = The is vary by u201Cage byu201D Date (either document date, posting  date or due date)
Regardless the date chosen for aging, we would like to display both Invoice (Document) Date and Due Date permanently on the layout.
Does anyone know what is the system variable for invoice/document date in this layout. Thanks for help in advance.
    Regards,
    Eric Tan

Sorry this is no right answer. I had test it variable 65 doesn't work.
I found that the System variable 187 will be either document date, posting date or due date based on the aging date selection in Receivable Details Aging Report
Any other advise. How to check the all the variable in Receivable Detals Aging Report.
    Thanks.

  • Running Aging reports based on Document date in 2007

    Hi All,
I have an issue while running the Receivables aging report in the 2007 version. The customer usually runs the reports based on the document date. Document date holds more importance in their case.
However, in the 2007 version, the aging report is totally governed by the posting date. For example, if I change the aging date, the posting date also changes to the aging date and viceversa. If I want to change the aging date to 01/31/09, the posting date u2018Tou2019 automatically changes to 01/31/09 and when we run the report, it will bring in all transactions until the posting date of 01/31/09.
But, the requirement is to leave the posting date as blank and give the document date u2018Tou2019 01/31/09. This will then pull all transactions until the document date of 01/31/09 irrespective of the posting date.
As a result, when you run the balance sheet with the document date of 01/31/09, receivables show a different balance. This discrepancy is due to the fact that AR Receivable aging report forces to keep the Aging date = Posting date.
This was not the case in SAP 2005 version where we were allowed to key in the aging date and the document date to get results based on document date.
This is very critical as they have recently upgraded from 2005 to 2007 and they are unable to reconcile the balances out of Balance sheet and Aging.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Payal

    Hi Jitin,
We tried that as well but no luck. There is still a discrepency between what the aging shows and what the BS shows. When we put the Aging date as 01/31/09 and Document date as 01/3109, the posting date 'To' is automatically filled with 01/31/09, so it basically searches for all transactions with the posting date 01/31/09 and document date 01/31/09. This is not the requirement as we do not want to consider the posting date at all while running the aging.
I also have some screenshots if I can share. I am not sure if I should report this to SAP for further investigation or am I missing something here.
    Thanks for your help.

    Payal

  • R12: How to filter AP and PO Accrual Reconciliation Report based on GL Date

    Hi,
Anybody know how to filter AP and PO Accrual Reconciliation Report based on GL Date from and GL Date to in R12?
Since we just upgraded from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 and found we cannot filter those report for specific date. It shown all data included the old data from 8 years ago also.
We need to run the report only for specific date only. Please share with me if anyone know about this.
    Thanks.

In 12 you can rebuild and run the report for a particular period, but not a single day if that's what's required

  • Date variable- delivery report

    Hi all,
In my report, there are two structures designed :- Pending deliveries and Reservation deliveries.
    For Pending deliveries:
I have used Confirmation Del Date(ZCNFDT) and Open Qty as the restrictions. The Date variable is built upon Confirmation Delivery Date, In selection screen if i input a date as Dec-1, i get the pending qty for week1, week2, week3.
    For Reservation deliveries:
I am using Requirement Date(ZBDTER) and the Requirement Qty as restrictions.
My doubt is if i create a variable as ZVAR_BDTER on Requirement date, i will be having another date input in the selection screen, asking for the desired date to be entered. If i enter a date for this date selection then the query will display wrong data.
According to the Specs, the input date variable must be common for both Pending and Reservations, such that, if i enter Dec 1, it must give the data for both Planning and Reservations.
I am planning to use 0DATE variable for both of the above structures. Requesting you to suggest on this
    Thanks

  • Creation of Dynamic Date Variables to be used in WebI reports

What we are trying to achieve is to create 4 optional filters (Current Day, Current Week, Last Week, Last Month) on 4 different dates which will allow the users to use them in WebI reports.
When using an optional SAP Customer Exit variable in BEx and creating a Universe on top, the filter becomes mandatory (i.e. the whole Universe is filtered by the SAP Exit, irrespective of whether the filter is used in the WebI report). Even if the filter is flagged as optional at the Universe level, it still behaves as mandatory.
If each filter becomes mandatory then we'll have to create 16 different Universes (for each optional filter and date combination)! This is not feasible.
I've seen in other posts that MDX Statements are not currently supported for Universes base on BW and SAP Exit should be utilized.
So with the existing BO version, is it possible to create optional dynamic date variables or is that a product limitation?
    We are on XI3.1 SP3 FP3.1
    Thanks

    Hi Adam,
In BEx, I would create this query very easily using the "Amount" key figure twice in my results and restricting each with a different SAP standard out-of-the-box delivered variable. For your reference, the variables in BEx are: 0FPER and 0FYTLFP.
If I expose these variables in my OLE DB for OLAP query, they are not transfered into the universe, but rather act as filters on the entire universe. I've seen in documentation that only "Ready for Input" variables can be transfered as options into the universe which is not something that I have seen mentioned in this thread.
    >> In the BEx Query you have the option to either make the variable "ready for input" or not. The behavior is the same in Bex or in the Universe / Web Intelligence. "Ready for input" means the user can actually provide an input and without the flag the user can not provide an input. Yes those variables are supported in the Universe.
Why this is a problem: I can't create separate universes based on potential variable periods that users might want to see. Additionally, many financial reports require concurrent use of these measures in the same report. Also, in reality it's not 2 variables, but dozens.
    >> Which is a decision you make already on the BEx query level. if you decide that the variable is not ready for input then the user can change the timeframe in BEx either.
Also, I don't have a good way to mimic the standard out-of-the-box functionality given with BEx in BO. If I custom create all my variables in the universe, how do I do a lookup from the system date to the fiscal calendar that is stored on the BW server? In other words, how does BO know which date belongs in which period? (the same would be true with factory calendars for a different functional area).
    >> Variable are created in the BEx query and the Universe will leverage those.
If you want a dynamic date range then EXIT variable as part of the BEx query - ready for input or not - is the solution.
    regards
    Ingo Hilgefort
The only work around I can see is to require users to enter the current fiscal period and have the BO reports filter based off that user entered value. This is unfortunate as the entire purpose of SAP Exit variables is to avoid having to require user input at report time.

  • Document Date on Outgoing Payment/Statement Report PLD

    Hi,
Is there a way to display the Document Date of the paid/outstanding invoice on the print layout for Remittances (Outgoing Payment) and Customer Statement (Ageing - Customer Statement Report)? At the moment it's only the Posting Date for the Outgoing Payment and Posting Date + Due Date for the Statement Report but would be great to have the Document Date too.
    Regards,
    Nat

    Hi Natalia,
for adding the Document date to the Outgoing payments form you can add field via modification of the print layout. For example OVTG.Tax Date should represent the document date.
I would like to know what is the scenario for the document date to be visible on the Aging report.

  • Show Date Variable of report in drill down of report

    Hi
I am using BI7.0 query designer and i am trying to build in the output of the date used in a variable as output in a drilldown in the report. This date is a keydate i use for making snapshots with APD's.
    Example:
    Keydate variable value: 01.07.2009
    output in report:
    Company Code   Date         Amount
        1000           01.07.2009       10
        2000           01.07.2009       20
        3000           01.07.2009       15
I have seen this before once in Bex 3.x designer, i had to use formula variables with replacement path i remember. Unfortunately i don't see how i should do this in the new query designer.
    Can somebody help me out?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Document Date - System Variable - AP Checks?

    Hi Experts,
I have searched for previous queries in the SDN B1 forum regarding my query.
I need  to use a system variable in the cheque print area instead of posting date of documents the DOCUMENT DATE is required. I cannot find a  DOC. Date system variables
Please can onyone highlight me if SAP has released a new System Variable list that include DOCUMENT DATE. The below links are what i had searched on.
    [PLD Check Print - System variable for document date and amount;
    [System variables in Check format;
Is this an limitation on variables?
    Thanks,
    Raju

    Hi Raju,
as a workaround you can do the following
    1. create a UDF in the Paid Document section, of a Date type
    2. create a user defined value :
    SELECT  case $[$20.45.1]
when 18 then   (SELECT T0.[TaxDate] FROM   OPCH T0 WHERE
    T0.Docnum = $[$20.1.0])
when 19 then   (SELECT T0.[TaxDate] FROM   ORPC T0 WHERE
    T0.Docnum = $[$20.1.0])
    end
set the trigger to be when when field change: on customer / vendor code
In the check PLD show this UDF. Use the table VPM2 : Outgoing payments - invoices, column : your UDF
    Hope this helps
    Chris

  • Include Document Date & Doc Due Date in SAP B1 Aging Details Report

We are not able to view the actual document date and document due date from the Aging details report, it should be an essential information that should be show in the aging report. It make no sense that user still have to manually drill into each document to just read the document date/ due date for their aging analysis!!!
Try to imaging that how important this information to a business, for instance, to age the invoice which due for 1 - 30 days, the document date which due for 1 days is categorise into 1-30days aged, the documents due for 30days also categorise into 1-30days aged, however it bring the different meanings to user and user need these information to take the action decision! How useful for an aging report which could not equip user with these basic information to provide user with efficiency to make effective decision???
I think it is necessary to incorporate this level of details to the SAP B1 Aging Report.

  • System Variable No. for AP Invoice Document Date

    Hi,
I have an Outgoing Payment PLD. 2 fields was empty after the upgrade from 2007A to 8.8.
AP Invoice's Document Date and Customer/Vendor Reference No.
For AP Invoice's Document Date, I have tried the database field (Table: A/P Invoice, Column: Document Date) but it didn't work. Came out empty.
Initially, the database field for Customer/Vendor Reference No. came out empty as well but i used system variable 201 which worked.
I was just wondering if there is a system variable for AP Invoice Document Date as well? Or is there another way so that I can show the AP Invoice Document Date in the Outgoing Payment PLD?

I sort of solved this problem myself.
Apparently, OPCH table (AP Invoice) was not available in the drop-down menu.
So, I selected the closest I can get: OJDT table (Journal Entry) and selected TaxDate - Document Date.
    It works now.

  • Date variable in a query

    Hi all,
Currently I'm working on a query and I'd like to put in a date variable. It has to be a monthly report and I'm building the query for it based on the attribute "TaxDate" (with format DD-MM-YY) from the table "ORDR".
For the query I'd like to build in a variable where the user can put in the month and year, for instance 01-04. I know how to put in a variable, but how can i solve this problem?
    I thank you in advance!
Edited by: Chief on Mar 12, 2008 1:23 PM

    Chief,
The parameters in a SQL Query accepting a date works the same way as you would enter a date on DocDate or DocDueDate field on the form.
But, you will need to filter the input and take only the Month.
    So test this simple query
    SELECT T0.DocNum AS 'Document Number', T0.DocDate AS 'Posting Date' FROM  [dbo\].[ORDR\] T0  WHERE MONTH(T0.TaxDate) = MONTH('[%0\]')

  • Bank Reconciliation Report

    Dear Members,
A bank reconciliation report is the report showing all the transactions reconciled in the period. In accounting the bank statement is regarded as the bible of the company's monthly transactions and the bank reconciliation report is the only prove that all transactions on the bank statement has been reconciled in the SAP Bydesign or any system.
This report must be signed by the chief financial controller for listed companies and filed at the end of every period or month. We need to have a tab on the bank statement creation/reconciliation window for printable bank statement report which should have the cheque numbers, payment references, receipts references, customer/supplier name, amount in credit/debit, date etc all in rows. There should be an option to print a detailed or summary or total report. There should also be a reminding pop up at the end of every bank statement creation or reconciliation to print this report.
I believe we need this facility on Bydesign ASAP, as it does not look good for a wonderful system like bydesign with complete mobility to be downgraded due to a simple tab or an essential like bank reconciliation report. I am an accountant and the first DOCUMENT I will request for on an audit is the bank reconciliation report( please ask any accountant or auditor to confirm this). Currently my CFO is questioning the selection of Bydesign due to the lack of this report and soon our auditors will request that we migrate to another accounting system due to SOX 404( Listed companies reporting requirements).
    Sincerely,
    Emeka Ikwukeme, CPA

    Hello Emeka,
I landed on this thread when I tried searching for a similar requirement. I'm curious to know if something came out of this discussion.
Have you been able to pull something out of the system using any workaround, or creating a new report,...?
    Thanks,
    Mohan
