Vendor Evaluation:Reason for ZERO SCORE CALCULATION for SOME CRITERIA

In performing Vendor evaluation few vendors get ZERO as the SCORE for some of the criteria.
At our location,
        1. WEIGHING KEYS
                    EP - Equal weighting
                    UP - Unequal weighting
        2. EVALUATION CRITERIA
                   11 - Price
                   22 - Quality
                   33 - Delivery
                   44 - Service
I would like to know the internal procedure of data collection of any vendor for calculating the SCORE for any CRITERIA.
Thus would be able to understand the reason for ZERO SCORE calculation in any CRITERIA for any vendor.

Hi,
In vendor evaluation system gives zero score if  no transaction has been run with respect to this vendor in the spcified criterias.
1. If no purchase Order is generated with respect to this vendor for a material system will give zero score for price criteria and delivery criteria.
2. If QM module is not active in the system it will show the quality score as zero.
3. If services are not maintained for the vendor then it will give zero price for services.
regrds,
Bharat.

  • Vendor Evaluation- Points for Automatic criteria

    Dear Team,
Our requirement for ontime delivery criteria is - for delays up to 10 days from PO delivery date to GR date 100 points, 11- 15 days delay -98 points,16-30 delay -95,31-45 delay-93,46-60 delay -90 , >60 - 1 point. how to configure this points in SPRO -points for the auto matic criteria.
Also what is the logic taken for assigning point scores for standard purchase organisation available in SAP 0001(Einkaufsorg. 0001). IF WE ARE TAKING A COPY OF THIS AND TRYING TO EDIT, SOME VALUES ARE NOT GETTING DELETED & SOME VALUES NOT GETTING SAVED.

    Hi,
Vendor Evaluation (t-code ME61) has the following features:
Wighting Key: in Std. SAP two keys are given (with equal weighting & unequal weighting). Based on the criteria you have, you can either accept & follow one of these std. settings or create one for yourself in IMG.
Suppose you select equal weighting as the key to be followed: there are 4 criteria viz. Price, Quality, Delivery and Service.
Each of these criteria have sub-criteria for them. For Ex. Price has 3 sub-criteria: Price level, Price history and Price behaviour.
So, for each sub-criterion, you allocate different marks (based on your business). Again, for each sub-criterion, there is a scoring method in Std. SAP. You can't create any new scoring method of your own. You only have to follow one of the 16 scoring methods given.
Thus, the total score would come to 100 and you get vendor evaluation based on these criteria chosen.
In your case: you have descending marks (points) for delay in delivery. So, pl. make one according to those criteria & sub-criteria. Please go through the help.notes and also some links in SCN. Regards, KrishnaM

  • "The evaluation period for some of your software can be extended..."

Installed LabVIEW 2012 for which we have a license. Apparently it installed Application Builder without my knowledge or consent. Now, -everytime- I try to launch LabVIEW I get an annoying dialog, "The evaluation period for some of your software can be extended.  Would you like to extend the evaluation periods now?" Only if you will let me get my work done and quit bothering me with advertisements...
How do I get rid of this "evaluation" software that I did not install and do not want?

add/remove programs or hit that little check box on the Eval advertisment window that says do not show me the ad aagain.

  • Vendor evaluation report for a definite time period

    Hi Experts,
Vendor Evaluation Summary Report required for the vendors for a definite time period. Output of the report should show the scores of vendors for criteria like Price, Delivery, Quality, Service and summation of all these scores.
Please let me know if any standard report is available which can fulfill my requirement.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kishore.

    Hi,
ME6H report is not fulfilling my requirement since i require the output format in the form like vendor, vendor name, plant, price, delivery, service, quality and the summation of scores given to these criterias.
    Thanks
    Kishore.

  • For some reason for some months now i cant launch firefox on my windows 7 x64. in order to launch it i need to click on the icon for 20 or 30 times which clutters up my task manager. any advise? i tried every version of ff from 3.20 to 7

well i said it all on the question :) so pls reply as soon as possible and i'll provide more info if you need.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • Vendor Evaluation Price Level  For services

Hi expert, I've seen that the Main Criterion "Price" is just for materials, and I wanted to know whether there is a way of Calculating Scores for Automatic Subcriteria for services.
I also wanted to know if there is any other standar criterion for evaluating services.
    Thanks !!

    Hi,
    Subcriteria can be defined by us as per our requirement but SAP has provided following 2 Subcriteria;
    - Quality of service
    - Service timeliness
    For above 2 subcriteria, you can assign a scoring method as following;
C Determination from quality rating of service
D Determination from timeliness rating of service
Config Path: - SPRO > MM > Puchasing > Vendor Evaluation > Define Criteria > Here maintain subcriteria for Service criteria and assign the scoring method
At the time of processing Service Entry Sheet, under "Vendor evaln" Tab, you will have option to enter scores for the following subcriteria
    - Quality of service
    - Service timeliness
Once you enter scores here, it will get calculated in ME61, if automatic evaluation is configured for above 2 subcriteras
Config Path: - SPRO > MM > Puchasing > Vendor Evaluation > Define Purchasing Organization Data for Vendor Evaluation > Here for Service criteria and it's subcriteria do not activate manual maintenance indicator
And if you want to maintain values manually for Service criteria and subcriteria then activate the manual maintenance indicator in above config path and then maintain it during ME61 (Vendor Evaluation)

  • ME6H :  point score for vendor evaluation

    Dear guru ,

  • QM Settings for Vendor Evaluation

    Hi All,
I am having a small issue with QM settings in Vendor Evaluation.
Actual Scenario - My client makes use of "Weighted Charateristics" instead of "Usage Decisions" and decides whether the material can be used or rejected etc at the time of Quality Inspection.
And, i believe that whatever the score or decision regarding the material was observed, it will be stored in a file with scores.
Now, the problem is Automatic Vendor Evaluation is simply giving a single score of 82 for whatever decision they make. Please try to address my following queries
    1) Where the person responsible in QM needs to maintain the actual file with scores so that Vendor Evaluation can pick those scores for calculation?
    2) Is there any configuration involved in either QM or Vendor Evaluation?
I came to know that all the configuration on the Vendor Evaluation side is OK
    Thanks

In the MM side for QM criteria you have to make automatic only than rest will take by the QM module
    see below
    Complaints/Rejection Level
This subcriterion is used to evaluate whether the materials delivered by the vendor are regularly found to be faulty subsequent to incoming inspection (for example, on the shop-floor) leading to additional expense and loss of time (due to loss of production, reworking etc.).
The score (QM key quality figure) is calculated in QM Quality Management and the data passed on to MM Vendor Evaluation. This key quality figure is converted for use in the Vendor Evaluation scoring system.

  • Vendor evaluation report to be run for previous period

    Hi,
Is the possible to run the Vendor evaluation report for back date.
i.e. if the period of evaluation is 30 days, can we run the report for previous periods
    Regds,
    Ritesh

Depending on the library you are using, can you verify whether you can use one of the following variables?
    1PERIK
    1PERW
    5ACPERI
    6-PERIK
    8WPERIO
All these variables use fiscal periods and not calendar periods, that way you don't have to bother about number of weeks in a period, unless you really need to do the calculation based on number of days in a period.
If your library does not support these variables, then pl copy one of these variables (GS11) with appropriate details into a custom variable and use it in your report.
    Let me know.

  • Additional sub criteria for Vendor Evaluation tab in SES (ML81N).

    Hi,
I like to add two additional sub criteria for Vendor Evaluation tab in SES (ML81N). Based on which vendor evaluation will be calculated.
    1. Safety/Envt Upkeep
    2. Morale
These two are added in SPRO->Purchasing->Vendor Evaluation ->Define Criteria. But not displayed in ML81N->Vendor Evaluation tab.
Existing criteria. 1) Quality of Service and  2) Service Timeliness are already available.
    Thanks in advance.
    Chetan Shah

    Hello Chetan,
have you checked note 79166 "MM-SRV Hint: Vendor evaluation for service"?
Define an evaluation criterion for services in Customizing of the vendor evaluation to be able to use the vendor evaluation also for the services management. The main criterion must contain the determination methods 'C' (determination from the quality valuation of the service) and 'D' (determination from the timeliness rating of the service) in the sub-criteria.
    Kind Regards

  • Quality score and vendor evaluation?

    Dear Sapient,
Can any one help me to know how quality score in QA11 or QA12 is hitting vendor evaluation programs?
    Regards,
    Kaushal Rai

    Hi
Rejection/complaint : This comes from the Following calculation.
Only consider the Q2 type of notification score.
If no complaint then this is 100 otherwise following formula:
The complaints score is calculated from the number of complaints against the vendor, according to the following formula:
    QSc = QScmin + (QScmax - QScmin) * (1 - (N * K) / (F * U))
    QSc = QScmin if  (N * K) > (F * U)
QScmin  =  Lower limit for QSc
QKZmax  =  Upper limit for QSc
N       =  Number of Q-notifications in the applicability period
    K       =  Estimated nonconformity costs
F       = Share of business volume for QSc calculation
U       =  Sales of the vendor in the applicability period
    K is maintained at
QCC0>Quality notification->Information system--->Define NC cost for Vendor Evaluation
    Audit:
The audit score is either the average quality score for the audits or is made up of the quality scores for the most recent audits. You can also enter an audit score manually.
This is 07 inspection type average score.
Again depend upon UD score of 07 inspection type.
    I hope this will help

  • Reason for movement text

    Hello gurus
I have to develop one report which gives Vendor wise reason for rejection. for that In the materials cube I have used movement type (0MOVETYPE), reason for movement (0MATMREA). But I want to display the texts related to each reason for movement. Since 0MATMREA is a NUMC field there is no master data maintenance for texts etc. I checked on R/3 side the texts are residing in table T157E which is not present in my dictionary. So how can i get the texts from R/3 side?

you can think of following options -
    1
Change 0matmrea , turn 'with text' on.
create Z_datasource based on table T157E and load text
    2
create ZMATMREA with text and add it to your infoprovider
    3
keep 0matmrea in your cube.  Create Zmatmrea with text. create Infoset based on cube and zmatmrea - joined on 0matmrea from cube joins to zmatmrea. In your query based on infoset , use zmatmrea
steps to create z datasource for text at r/3
    1. sq01 - create infoset query based on T157E
    2. rso2 - create z datasource based on above query -(extraction from SAP query )

  • Setup of Inspection Lots for some vendors and not for all

    Hello,
We do have a situation where in the business wants Inspection Lots to be set up for some vendors and not for some vendors - for the same material.
What it means is, for Material XXXXX001, Vendor 00003 needs inspection during GR for Purchase Order and Vendor 00005 and 00006 should be set up for Non Inspection upon GR and stocks should be posted to Unrestricted.
Any suggestions / options are welcome.
    Thanks
    Kris

    Hello,
You can use vendor q-info records to handle this... deactivate the goods receipt inspection on the vendor(s) that do not require incoming inspection.
