Vendor Master classifications using IDoc CLFMAS

I am using the IDoc message type <b>CLFMAS</b>, basic type <b>CLFMAS01</b> and I set my source multi structures as follows:
  <b>ZCLASS_HDR</b>
       HDR    C(005) Header Id :<HDR>
       MAFID  C(001) Assignment category: 'O'
       OBJEK  C(050) Vendor number:'5000101'
       CLASS  C(018) Class no. :'BEE-VENDORS'
       KLART  C(003) Class type :'010'
       DATUV   C(008) Date :sy-datum
       OBJECT_TABLE C(030) : 'LFA1'
                                                                <b>ZCLASS_DTE</b>
        DTE     C(005):<DTE>
        ATNAM   C(030):'BEE_Senior_management'
        ATFLV   C(016):'10'
        ATWRT   C(030):'10'
where the bold represent the header structures and the values after the colon.
When I process the IDoc I get the following error:
<b>Object 5000102 (LFA1 ) not found</b>, the vendor number 5000102 is in table LFA1. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong here?
Rgds
George

Hi George!
Try with leading zeros: ZCLASS_HDR-OBJEK = '0005000101'. (In total 10 chars). You can use FM CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to do the conversion.

    Hi All,
    Thanks in advance.
I am uploading vendor master data using bdc call transaction method for XK01. In that  i am getting an error message that the fields " smtp_addr" ( for email) and "time_zone" (for time zone) doesnot exist on the screen '0110' ( this is the second screen) . the field timezone will be displayed on the screen only when we go for communications button and select the URL field .
Do anybody have the solution for this problem. if possible can you give me the code for that screen.

  • Vendor master creation using RFBIKR00 program

    hi
    friends
can any body help what is the structure and file format  i have to give when i run RFBIKR00 program to create vendor master data ... thanx in advance ..
    by
    leee

    Hi
Are you trying to upload the data ??
in that the program does some validation of
the data, unlike most upload programs. For instance, you have to make sure
that a vendor exists before you attempt to change it through transaction
XK02, otherwise an error report is produced.
In terms of data structure, the file must have a header segment as the first
record (type 0), then various segment 1s and 2s. I don't know all the
various combinations of 1s and 2s, but my client has used the RFBIKR00
program 4 times in its vendor migration, the first 3 files creating
different parts of the vendor data. Obviously the data itself is company
confidential, but I can tell you the segment structure of each file:
First file - Create General Data
    0YDL_MIS00251600PJA77336 20020713X/ (File Header)
    1XK01 ...
    2BLFA1
    1XK01 ...
    2BLFA1
    etc
Second file - Create Company Code Data
    0YDL_MIS00252600PJA77336 20020713X/
    1XK01
    2BLFB1
    1XK01
    2BLFB1
    etc.
Third file - Create Purchase Organisation Data
    0YDL_MIS00253600PJA77336 20020713X/
    1XK01
    2BLFM1
    1XK01
    2BLFM1
    etc.
Fourth file - change (Partner Functions Data)
    0YDL_MIS00254600PJA77336 20020713X/
    1XK02
    2BLFA1
    2BLFM2
    2BWYT3
    2BWYT3
    1XK02
    2BLFA1
    2BLFM2
    2BWYT3
    2BWYT3
    etc.
Separate programs are required to migrate vendor addresses, classification
and text. If you go into transaction SXDA, put in LFA1, BINP and RFBIKR00,
and copy the file to a location on a server, you can view the generic
structure required using the Change file button.
n LSMW you can take a file in whatever format you have,
map the fields as necessary, and write to the structures
needed by RFBIKR00. There is even a place within LSMW
to run RFBIKR00 afterwards. Depending on what's coming in
you may only have to link the fields across with no
    translation.
By using LSMW you won't need to write any ABAP to open
the file and change the format - all this is integrated
in LSMW. Look at <URL:http://service.sap.com/lsmw> for
an outline, dowloading and installing LSMW and for
    detailed documentation.
LSMW is in effect "middleware" - though if you are able
to get the original data in exactly the format used by
RFBIKR00 then you won't need it.
If you must write your own program to feed RFBIKR00 then
the "made easy" guide is a good start, plus the SAP
documentation of the program, and study of the
    structures via SE11.
Make sure any mandatory fields either have an entry in the
source data or that you can apply a default (which is also
    very easy in LSMW).

  • ALE IDoc : Vendor Master : Cremas: Inbound IDocs are bypassing the Customiz

    Hi,
Create Vendor master inbound IDocs - CREMAS - are overridding the customizing settings.
For example for a particular vendor group  a number range is set in customizing.
When we try to create a vendor through XK01 which does not fall in a particular number range as set in customising for a particular vendor group, we get a error message and creation is terminated.
But if the same vendor is created via standard idoc CREMAS, vendor is created without any errors bypassing the customizing settings.
So can anybody help me in this. Is there any customising setting that we need to do explicitly for Vendor IDocs. Or any other setting in standard IDoc.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    1. If your vendor changes should be updated from one system to other system through ALE, we need to active the change pointers.
    2. Change points can be activate through Tcode SALE
    3. After activating change points and your distribution model is ready, you can execute the program RBDMIDOC to genarate the IDOCs.
    4. Normally this program will be executed in the background
    5. And as you said, you have to do some validations before sending IDOCs. For this you can Filters and rules in the DM.
OR you can write the code in user-exists of outbound posting program.
Rewards if this info is useful.
    Thanks,

  • Regarding vendor master creation using xk01,fk01,mk01.

    hi
i have created vendor master using xk01.what is the diffeerence between creation of vendor master using xk01 and FK01,MK01.

    Hi
You can split vendor master data into two parts - purchasing (MK01) and accounting (FK01).
Purchasing veiw (MK01) is important if you want to create purchase documents like PO on vendor. This veiw is created for purchase organization with bank details and partner functions.
Accounting view (FK01) is important for finance people to post invoice and pay to vendor. This view is created for company code. The terms of payment which purchase dept specifies will be entered in accounting view again and bank details entered by purchasing people will be confirmed by accounting team.
You can create collectively these two views in XK01.
    Thanks

  • Vendor Master Creation through IDoc with Multiple Company Codes

I am trying to create vendor masters sent from a 3rd party into SAP using CREMAS05 IDoc.  I have the requirement that the vendor should be created in each of 3 company codes and the vendor number is internally assigned in SAP.
I create my IDoc with the general data E1LFA1M and multiple E1LFB1M & E1LFB5M Children.  When I post the IDoc using IDOC_INPUT_CREMAS which uses Call Transaction, the vendor gets created for the first company code, but the IDoc errors on the vendor extension XK01 for the next company code with the error: "Fill all required fields SAPMF02K 0111 ADDR1_DATA-NAME1".
In debugging through this, it appears that the vendor number that gets created in the first XK01 transaction does not get passed into the data for the second XK01 call and SAP tries to create a new vendor instead of extending the newly created one.
If I force the value in during debug after the initial call transaction into the variable h_lifnr, it works fine (Vendor created with multiple company codes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    -Larry

I cannot give you exact solution, but can guess why this is happening, below is what I believe.
I think Synchronous update is not happening in call transaction, second transaction is getting processed before the first one is saved, debugging it works fine, because we give system enough time to save while processing.
Generally in call transaction we have MODE, if we pass S - then synchronous update happens, in your case, you need to find the way to incorporate this.
    Hope it helps.

    Ravi Kishore.

  • How to populate extended fields of VENDOR MASTER IDOC (CREMAS05)

    Hi,
I have appended a new field to table LFA1 and the same has been placed on the screen. I have extended the basic IDOC type CREMAS05 to accommodate the newly added custom fields. Now when the vendor is created using IDOC how to populate these custom fileds. As the standard IDOC FM is using BDC to create the vendor. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Satish

    SAP uses function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM
this has usually 10 lines for the complete  address, so that it fits into the window in an envelope
If you address has more than 10 lines, then SAP reduces this lines to 10, by skipping some of them.
    Read details in docu:

  • Extension of Vendor Master in SRM by using EEWB tool

    Hi,
I need some information on EEWB (Easy Enhancement Workbench) Tool
and would like to know how  to add custom fields in EEWB tool to extend the Business partner data?
Further, how to map the custom fileds from R/3 to SRM using the BADI BBP_GET_VMDATA_CF in an Extended Classic  scenario?
Any inputs on this will be a really valuable help for me.
    Thanks,

    Hello,
Yes you can enhance Vendor master (BP) using EEWB and more information in EEWB cn be found from link:

  • Vendor Master change pointers problem

    Hi ,
We have a custom program that will read change pointers for Vendor master .
we use these change pointers to trigger our custom idoc . But we need to select only change pointers of vendors whose changes are confirmed in transaction FK08 or Fk09
Please let me know how we can check the changpointers for particular vendor is confirmed or not
    Regards,
    Ramesh

Just as a follow up on this.  I think that within the setup of the classification system you need to configure the tracking of changes.  If you take a look at table TCLA you'll notice that there is a field which indicates if change document are turned on.  I belive that this then relates back to the "virtual" change document objects that I refered to in my previous post.
It looks like during update tasks that fucntion CLVF_VB_INSERT_CLASSIFICATION and that this checks the TCLA table and then writes the change documents as part of the updates.
The description of this field in TCLA is:
    Change Documents for Classification
Indicator: for this class type, a change document is generated for all changes to classification data.
For technical reasons, this indicator can only be set if the class type is defined for classifying different object types.
looks like there is some more research needed but this should hoepfully get you on the right track.

  • How to transfer vendor master from MM to SUS?

    Hi friends
How to transfer vendor master from MM to SUS
    Are the following steps correct
    1.create vendor master in MM
2.use tcode BD14 in MM and enter partner system as SUS ( to send vendor master)
3.use BD15 in SRM to accept the master data from MM.
Please let me know if i am wrong
    Thanks
    Vinny

    Hi Vinny,
Please follow below steps for transferring vendor master from MM to SUS.
!) Create a vendor master in MM and assign class type ALV under enviornment-Classification tab.
2)Go to BD14 and enter following fileds
    Vendor number
    Class
    Message type
    Target System...
Before doing BD14 hope you have done all the partner profile configuraion as well as model view creation and mapping has been established between MM to XI to SUS.
Before repliating vendor, please note that vendor root org unit has been created in SUS system.
After executing BD14 then check in your mm system WE05 whether idoc has been generated and sent to XI system.
If sent to XI system successfully then please check in SXMB_MONI t-code in XI what is status then finally check  in SUS.....
    If useful points please...
    Thanks
