here is my error..as u know iam using oc4j...

Like Jeff says, you need to put the "application-client.xml" file in
the META-INF (and not "meta-inf") directory. When you display the contents
of your client JAR file -- using the following command:
jar tvf your_file.jar
you should see the following line displayed (among others, of-course):
META-INF/application-client.xml
If you do have that entry in your JAR, then maybe the contents of the
"application-client.xml" file is incorrect. Like the error message
suggests, try looking at the J2EE specification (from SUN), for the
correct format. The specification is available from:
http://java.sun.com/j2ee
Of-course, if your client is a servlet (or JSP), then you should have
a "web.xml" file in the WEB-INF (and not "web-inf") directory, such
that if you look at the contents of your WAR file:
jar tvf your_file.war
you will see the following entry:
WEB-INF/web.xml
You usually either have an "application-client.xml" or a "web.xml",
you usually wouldn't have both (in the same EAR file).

When a java Code is run it should publish an string(message) onto an OAI .

Ver urgent:error in request

For one job 4 days of requests are loaded,For each day there are 3 pakages are loading,on first day of one request update method is repair full request,and subsequent them are fullupdate,the request repair full request has got error,that request is not correct.how can i solve this problem please helpme.

Are you loading data into ODS?
Is there Init/Delta already setup for that ODS for that datasource?
Give us the error message you got in the monitor screen. If you do not have any error in the monitor screen.
If you are loading to ODS and you have the init/delta already setup then you'll have to change the full update requests to repair full requests.
Use the program RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG to change them to repair full and then activate the ODS... It should work.

Hi,
Rolling report will be mainly used for planning. Rolling Reports are used for Forecasting Plans,actual planned values for A particular periodThere was a report developed for a Project.
Lets say you have to forecast the sales upto the end of the year. So from Jan to Mar you will have actuals and from April to Dec you will have planning figures. This is normal scenario, but when you say rolling, then it have to re-plan the forecast figure from that month onwards.
Lets say you have data from Jan - Dec like
100 150 200 250 300 350 400 450 ...upto dec
Here Jan - March are actuals and april to dec is planned
in Feb, March is a planned data lets say you planned 175 but you got 200 as actuals.
Now you have to replan the following months since your feb planning is no more valid because of march data (Planned and actuals vary). So now they will again do a forecast based on March actuals and continue until the year end.
This planning some times will be based on Quarterly Rolling (Replan will be done in every 3 months), halfyearly Rolling(Replan will be done in every 6 months).

Hello SAP GURU,
I am facing one problem while executing FF_5
I posted a customer invoice through FB70.
I received the pay. and posted it through JV FB50.
I deposited all cheques received in a day through single pay in slip.
Bank gives me credit for all cheques deposited on a day per pay in slip wise not check no. wise.Actuall, when i posted JV to book receipt I booked it through check no. wise but in bank statement bank gives me credit through pay in slip wise.
So, I am not able to clear the transaction.
Guru, tell me how to fix this Guru -
its ver urgent.

Hi Raj,
We had a similar situation, but there is nothing much to do. At the moment you can execute FF.5 as a batch and manually clear the indvidual cheques during SM35. Then you can request the bank to give a break-up of cheques in the file. This is what we did.

Field not present in the datasource

Hi All,
I want to bring the data for fields SCMNG of 0ART_SALES_ATTR into BW. When I check the datasource in RSA6(Double click on 0ART_SALES_ATTR) I am unable to find the field. But when I see the extract structure(BIW_MVKE_S) I can find the field in there. I checked the table ROOSFIELD and found that the this particular field is set to 'A'(Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP). How can I make this field available to extract the data?
Please someone reply me soon..It is ver urgent!!!

Hi Manfred,
I have edited it and set it to ' '(No Selection Pssible, Visibility set) and also saved it. But when I go back to rsa6 and double click on the datasource to check if the field has come there it is showing me a log with an error message saying "Units field MEINS for field SCMNG of DataSource 0ART_SALES_ATTR is hidden". What does this mean? Am I missing something or do I need to do any setting? I have checked for MEINS in the extract structure but it is not there in the structure at all.
Regarding the code,if I want to use this, where should I write this?

Data pull failure in Production (Working fine in Development)

Hai,
   I have an UDConnect scenario where I am pulling data from an Oracle database. In development when I tried pulling data with a selection in infopackage for 0CALDAY infoobject with a date range, it is pulling the data. But if I try to do the same thing in production it fails with an error JOB IN SOURCE SYSTEM TERMINATED - REQUEST SET TO RED. Even if I try to do a full upload it fails with the same error. It doesn't work in RSA3 also in production. But all works fine in development
Kindly help as it is ver urgent.

Transport order

WE have explored in our system that there is no scope of validation in the system that no duplicate bill passing can be done to transporter against each excise invoice *** challan . So we want a slolution which leads for creation of transport order against OA and to link against coresponding excise challans and aginst that transporter bill passing is to be done with validation .
The scenario should have two objectives
1. Proof of delivery information is to captured for creation of outstanding with due/not due aginst customer by calculating the difference of payment term in OA and original recipt challan date from customer.
2. Transporter bill passing with validation that no duplicate challan can be generated against each excise invoice.

EBS - Pa in slip vs. check no. issue

I am facing one problem while executing FF_5

Hi Prabhu i wasnt getting an error message. When i was posting the deposit slip under the errors column i was getting a number. The problem was with the posting periods the + wasnt open.I opened it and it lets me post now.

Long term, interactive planning

Hi,
I have having problem in long term planning
In MS annual planning, i can see that till 2008 planned order has been created.Ater firming and run MD43, i can see only few months not all month for next year.After i save this and go to MD15 i cant see required planed orders for next year.
Please let me know where exactly is the problem.I request everyone to give me some solution as it is ver urgent.

I have Transported 0FIGL_C01 InfoCube from BW Development to BW Production and have loaded Data also.
with the cube Queries have also come in the BW Production..
But i did not get workbooks in BW Production?
How to bring work books into BW Production?
Please tell me step by step procedure

Unlike Queries, usually workbooks are saevd either under a role or under Favourites. So if you have saved the your workbooks under a role, you need to have that role assigned to you to view the workbooks. The roles and profiles might be quite different in dev and QA because of authorisations, so look into them carefully. If the developer saves the workbook as a favorite can you still transport it and see it? After transporting the workbooks you will need to retransport the roles they are assigned to. Once the roles are transported after the Workbook transport ..all the workbooks are visible.. The rule is to transport the roles only once and never after, else all workbooks contained in that role in the target system will be wiped out.
Just for safety sake, it is a good idea to maintain all the workbooks on a secure location, so that in case they are wiped out, you can use these to re-establish them. We create our workbooks directly in production.You can also confirm this by going to RSA1 -> Transport Connnection -> Click on Object Types -> Expand Query Elements -> Query -> double click Select Objects -> Search by your query Technical name -> Transfer. Once you get ur Query and all its object in the righmost box, under Transport request column you should see the Request number that you have created for all the query elements you have changed. If this is not the case then you assign it by checking the transport box for the query and Transport button
