Version 3.0.04 (04.34) Quick Outline not displaying for Package Body

All,
I am using the latest release of SQL Developer (Version 3.0.04 Build MAIN-04.34)
When I try and do a quick outline on one of the packages the package body node + sign disappears and the quick outline is empty apart from the package body name.
I have checked I have no < or > in text or anonymous pl/sql blocks within procedures as per previous posts.
The package body is over 6000 lines long but a package body which is 8000 lines displays the outline correctly.
Has anyone else experienced this behaviour ?
The package body has not changed and the quick outline worked in v2 versions of SQL Developer.
Any ideas ?

Hi, I can confirm I am having the same problem as ChrisR, I have the same SQL Developer version.
I found out that the parser have probably problems with declared functions and procedures at the beginning of the package body...
Anyway, when I was searching what's going on, I found somewhere on the internet that this bug was reported long time ago in version 2.xx and it should be fixed in version 3.

Come on... when this is known problem, why it is not listed in Known issues section???
This way you make users search all the developer settings, all over the internet and spend hours before they find this is know problem long time...

Map outline not displaying!

My maps on my iPhone 4S with IOS6 is not displaying. The maps won't show outlines in map app nor in the photo map also, any advice would be great.

reset is home button plus the power button at the same time
the restore is hooking it up to itunes and putting it back to factory setting and also putting a new ios on it.
and those are the steps out there. Just because some other people said it wouldnt work doesnt mean it wont work for you

Quick look not working for office files from mail

I installed the new Microsoft Powerpoint on my ipad to check it out. I didn't really like it so I uninstalled it. Now when I am in mail and try to view a Powerpoint presention (or any other office file), quick look opens with just the name and size of the file rather than letting me view the file. I am assuming installing Powerpoint somehow disabled Quick View for those files. How do I fix this? I really need to be able to read office files from Mail on my ipad!!

It sounds like you may have 2 different programs that support quicklook differently. I suspect the .doc files are different formats that are using one or the other application.
A quick test - select a file with the full preview. Get info on it in the Finder (File > Get Info) see what application it is set to open with by default. I suspect this will be TextEdit or MS Word. Compare this to a file that has no preview in quicklook. Change over the default application to the other application and see if the preview appears.
My understanding is that the software has to be aware of quick look to parse the document and create the preview. It could be that one of the softwares needs an update, or is too old to support quicklook.
you should be able to see the version number by opening the application and using the About menu under the Application menu. Post them here if the above doesn't work.
You may also compare the 'Kind' in the info dialog, it could be that they are slightly different formats. Opening and saving may generate the previews (keep the originals if you do this!)

Outlook 2013 Quick Print not working for HTML attachments.

I have to print multiple orders that are received as attached HTML files (Sometimes 20+ attachments). In Outlook 2007 (On XP) this worked fine I could print the email with attachments and everything would be waiting for me in the printer.
I just got a new computer running windows 7 and Outlook 2013 and I can no longer print the attachments.
I printed through File, Print, Printer Options, Print Attached Files - Email prints, no attachments.
I tested with an attached DOCX and PDF - Both print the email and attachment.
Quick Print HTML attachment - Nothing Prints.
Open Attachment in Internet Explorer - Prints fine.
Changed Default Program for HTML files to Firefox and tested quick Print - Nothing Prints
Changed Default Program for HTML files to Word and test quick Print - Prompts for program to use when opening (for every attachment), I choose Word, it opens but does not print.
I've been searching for anything else to try but I'm running out of ideas Any help would be appreciated!

To resolved this issue i tried below trouble shooting:
1) Repair MS office 2013
2)Uninstall and install office 2013
3)Rename the Outlprnt file to Outlprnt old from C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\
4) 2 times Re install printer drivers
5) Creat new outlook profile
if you Unable to print from Outlook 2013 without receiving the "Printer not ready" message (32/64 Win 7 Pro).
This changed worked for us, by selecting the Advanced properties on the printer and changing the default setting "Start printing immediately" to "Start printing after last page spooled".

Safari Version 6.0.5 (8536.30.1) is not displaying images.

Is anyone else having problems with Safari not displaying images on webpages?

Never mind. This was my own fault. I had been debugging with the developer menu and had disabled images. Sorry for the spam!

Pictures do not display in my yahoo emails, but they show up if I go to forward the email, since I went to version 5.0 please help, win7

Since I updated to version 5.0 of firefox, 95% of pictures do not display in the body of emails using my yahoo account. If I go to forward the email however I can find them displayed in the forwarding window. I do have all pictures set to display in the ff settings, and have not made any setting changes before or after the update. At first I thought it was the "New" yahoo mail, which I switched to from the "classic", but I cannot switch back. I finally opened my yahoo mail in IE, and the pictures show right up.

You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Do you have an Arabic version of Firefox installed which isn't displaying the vowelization correctly, or are you trying to read it using an English language version?

Quick Outline in EA3

The quick outline does still not appear to be working properly for me in EA3
If i open a package from a FIND DB object search and choose quick outline all i get is the package name listed at the top of the outline with nothing below it.
If i open a package from the navigator tree and quick outline i get a few local variables/cursors listed but none of the main procs/fun cs etc
As i type i've gone back to check another scenario and when i now do the outline it appears to be picking it up, so not sure if it's a outline loading issue or my machine.
However the outline is still not picking up when you switch between packages you have to force a new outline for each package you look at

Diagnosis
You activated an indicator (Plan, Actual, WIP/results analysis or Variance calculation ) in the basic settings for version 1 in controlling area 1000. However, a higher order of settings (general version definition) prevents you from setting this indicator in version 1.
Note
The following should be taken into account when maintaining a version:
In general version definition you decide whether a version is allowed for
     Panning (with the Plan indicator)
     Actual data update (with the Actual indicator)
Note: In Overhead Cost Controlling, actual data is updated in operational version 0.
Actual versions different from 0 are found at present only for delta versions in Activity Based Costing (CO-ABC), and when you work with parallel assesment ( additional versions):
     A data version from results and WIP determination manages (indicator WIP)
     Another version from variance determination manages (indicator Variance)
     A version for exclusive use (field exclusive application)
You must maintain the version basic settings for each controlling area in which you want to update transaction data. General version definition restricts the settings possible for the controlling area:
     If general version definition does not allow plan and/or actual data update for version, this applies to the version in all controlling areas. If plan and/or actual data updating is allowed for a version in general definition, this can be reset for each controlling area separately (unmark the plan or actual indicator).
     Delta versions in ABC may not be used for parallel valuations in the actual; the same goes for versions with exclusive applications. In both cases, the valuation fields may not be maintained.
To set indicators WIP/Results- or Variance-determination the following conditions apply:
     Both indicators may be set only during setup for the controlling area, when they are already established in the higher level general version definition
     If either indicator is already active in the data bank, then the actual indicator may not be subsequently activated
     If the actual indicator is inactive and either of these indicators is active, then the valuations in the corresponding versions and in version "000" must agree
     If the actual indicator is active, then both indicators must be activated
Versions 0 and 1 are used regularly for various purposes by the system, which sets the following limitations/restrictions:
     Version 0 must always be available. It cannot be used exclusively. The plan and actual indicators must always be active.
     The actual indicator may not be activated in version 1.
If these conditions are violated during version maintenance, error messages are issued. There are three types of error message:
1. While maintaining the general version definition, you can only make changes if they do not violate the conditions outlined above.
2. While maintaining the basic settings in the controlling area, the entries must remain consistent with the higher level entries.
3. You want to maintain version 0 or 1. The restrictions outlined above apply.
Use the "Extras" menu option to display the structure of the entries in the complex data object version:
     Select a version and choose Extras -> Version use.
The SAP System shows which controlling areas use this version.
     Select Extras -> Versions in CO area
This displays all versions used in the current controlling area.
The subordinate entries in the hierarchy (settings for each fiscal year, strategic Activity-Based Costing: transactions for a delta versions) will also be shown for both cases.
Procedure
Do not activate the indicator, or change the higher order of settings in the general version definition.

What are you trying to change?
To me you are not suppose to make any changes, you need to select the version "0" and then hit "Settings for each Fiscal year" subfolder.... here you copy the settings of 2006 and change the year to 2007. This should resolve the problem.

iOS 4.2.1 suggests that you may have 2nd generation Touch, which cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1
Check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 for help in identifying your model. A quicker method may be to check the back casing. If your iPod has Model No.A 1288 etched into it, then it's a 2nd gen Touch.
Assuming that you are using the latest version of iTunes (today, that is 10.6.3), to check if your iPod can be updated, connect it to your iTunes and look on the Device/Summary pane. Select Check for Updates. If there is one, you will see a message telling you that and how to install it. However, if you see a message saying that your iPod is up-to-date, then it cannot be updated.

One error i didn't suspect -> don't using SID with lowercase and uppercase in the name.
Thing i've forgotten to say: variables have to be set both in the .bat and the first .sql but they have to match too with values in the init.ora. That why i would like to simplify all these declarations with unifying them into a single file.

We were able to fix our machine! I just could not make sense of the error message, so we were trying non-Microsoft, non-Apple solutions.
Our Solution: Install MalWareBytes, and run a Quick Scan.
Even thought both Microsoft anti-virus and Defender were running on our Windows 8 machine, MalWareBytes found about 100 problems. As I looked over the types of problem and locations, I found several that referenced the exact directory referenced in this message. The machine had to be restarted for MalWareBytes to complete the cleaning, but iTunes installed afterwards with no problems.
