Version of microsoft.xna.framework.graphics.dll to implement DynamicVertexBuffer Class

Hello,
I went through the link
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.xna.framework.graphics.dynamicvertexbuffer.aspx
to test the coding part as it is shown on that page. but I get following error messages.
1..'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Graphics.GraphicsDevice' is a 'type' but is used like a 'variable'
2..'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Graphics.BufferUsage' does not contain a definition for 'Points'
.....................and more.
I tested it on vs2013 update4 & .net3.0 platform.
Please tell me what are DLLs and their version required to run the coding part as shown on above link.
RGDS.

    Hi,
    Please try to reset the Internet Explorer settings or open Internet Explorer in In-Private browsing and then check if this issue occurs.
    If the issue persists, please try to access SharePoint in another computer with Office 2013 and then check if this issue occurs. Or repair Office and restart your server.

  • Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.IntegrationServices dll is missing

    Hi,
    I need to load a package programatically that is deployed to the SSIS catalog with the project deployment model. All the doc points to doing this using Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.IntegrationServices namespace; file: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.IntegrationServices.dll.
    I cannot find this file. I have installed SqlServer developer version. Integration Services, SqlServer Data Tools, Client Tools SDK and Management Tools are selected and show installed.
    The Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.IntegrationServices.dll is not in the gac or anywhere on my machine.
    What I want to do is documented here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sqlserver.management.integrationservices.aspx.
    Can you tell me what I need install to have this dll available?
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    When an error is routed, the column number (lineage id) is available, but the column name is not. The lineage id is not helpful. I guess before 2012, the lineageid was available in the package xml and could be gotten that way. I found numerous examples from
    folks, but with 2012, the lineageids changed to text.
    So, what I am doing in a script task is retrieving the lineageids and column names (along with the executable task name) and storing them in a variable that is then available to the errors. (Also getting the error description, but that is easy).
    What is the recommended method of getting the column name when there is an error?
    I found some form of this code somewhere and added to it. It is working when I can load the package, which is what I am trying to do with the IntegrationServices.dll
    pkg = application.LoadPackage(pkgPath, null);
     Executables pExecs = pkg.Executables;
                StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
                string d1 = ";";
                string d = ":";
    foreach (Executable pExec in pExecs)
                    TaskHost taskHost = (TaskHost)pExec;
                    string taskhostName = taskHost.Name;
                    //Test if the task is a data flow
                    if (taskHost.InnerObject is Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline.Wrapper.MainPipe)
                        //Cast the Executable as a data flow
                        MainPipe pipe = (MainPipe)taskHost.InnerObject;
                        // Loop over each object in the dataflow
                        foreach (IDTSComponentMetaData100 comp in pipe.ComponentMetaDataCollection)
                            foreach (IDTSOutputColumn100 column in comp.OutputCollection[0].OutputColumnCollection)
                                sb.Append(string.Concat(taskhostName, d, column.LineageID.ToString(), d, column.Name, d1));
    Dts.Variables["User::colList"].Value = sb.ToString();
    So, this is in a script task that runs before any of the DFTs. The error paths all have access to the colList variable via a script component. It gets split, loaded to a class list and queried with linq based on the lineageid of the column that errored.
    If you have something better, I would be glad to know about it. My requirements is to provide the column name and error description when there is an error.
    I DO NOT have the Microsoft.Sqlserver.Management.IntegrationServices.dll on my box. I have searched from the c:. As I said in the previous post, sorted by name, I see
    Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.CollectorTasks
    Microsoft.Sqlserver.Management.IntegrationServices should be the next folder. It isn't there!!
    The next thing I see is Microsoft.SqlServer.MSMQTask.
    I do see 4 Microsoft.SqlServer.IntegrationServices. folders, but the Management.IntegrationServices isn't there.
    Thanks for your help,
    Suzanne

  • SQL Server Components as part of Microsoft Dotnet Framework 4.5.1 installation

    Hi,
    I did an installation of Microsoft Dotnet Framework 4.0 and  4.5.1 version. After installation, I was able to find that the below components also got added to my system.
    1) Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Setup Support files
    2) Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (64 bit)
    3) Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
    4) Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Setup (English)
    5) Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Transact SQL Script Dom
    I need to get a confirmation on whether these components get added as part of Microsoft Dotnet Framework 4.5.1 installation. Can anyone please help me confirm this?. (I did installation on Windows 2008 Server RC2 64 bit VM.) .
    Thanks
    Anupama

    Hi Anupama,
    The components about SQL Server you mention above are not parts of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1. There should be installations of SQL Server 2008 and 2012 before you install .NET Framework 4.5.1.
    In addition, .NET Framework is a requirement for the SQL Server installation. For example, .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later version is a requirement for SQL Server 2008 installation and .NET 4.0 or later version is a requirement for SQL Server 2012 installation.

  • Trial version of Microsoft Office no longer opening

    i have installed a 60 day trial version of Microsoft professional office 2013 on a PC that has windows 8.1 with a 64 bit OS. It has been 45 days and now I cannot open any of the Office suite programs (outlook, One Note etc). I see the icons when I
    click on the windows icon and shows the graphical start menu, but when I click on the office icons, they no longer open. Need help!

    Look on the MS Office 365 website for links to the download version. You could also buy an External DVD drive that connects by USB port. Any brand will work with your Mac Air. It does not have to have the Apple name on it for it to work on your Air.

  • Can you open with Pages documents that were created in a 2004 version of Microsoft word for Mac?

    Can you open in Pages documents that were created in a 2004 version of Microsoft Word for Mac?

    Pages '09 will open .doc files from Word 2004. The Mac OS is not what is in question. Pages '09 opens Word 2004 documents and if the same version of Pages will run in Lion and in Mountain Lion ..... Thats all that matters.
    I trust you were using MS Office 2004 and would now like to buy Pages?

    You mean for Office apps? That, I don't know for sure as I don't use MS Office on my Mac. I would check to see if there is some sort of MS Office uninstaller that needs to be run before dragging the icons to Trash. Either from one of the Office apps Help or About or search the Internet for a solution.
    EDIT: A quick Google search found this link which may help you.

  • Can I restore a version of Microsoft Office I have on an external hard drive, and then load my current OS and files from Time machine?

    I have a disk that has a file that restores my original mac settings on programs on my mac. Its has an old version of Microsoft office that I really liked and wanted to restore that to my computer. Sadly this involves wiping the computer clean and putting this older version of my computer on there. I need the files and the applications that are present on this new computer. Is there another way of doing this?
    Thank you.

    Can't you install that old version from the original media or downloaded disk image?
    Also, how much older is that version of Office and how much newer is the system you want to run it on? Some combinations of Office and System just won't work even if you could create them. For example, Office 2004 simply won't run on Mavericks or Yosemite.

  • Is there a version of Microsoft Access for the Mac computer

    I was wondering if there was a version of Microsoft Access for the Mac computer.  Most of the databases I have on my old computer are in Access and I need to be able to open them on my new Mac Book.

    Full Disclosure as per Apple Support Communities terms and Conditions: I am affiliated with the site linked to in this response.
    Although Access for Mac isn't available, there are some apps which allow you to open Access databases on Mac. They don't allow you to access forms, reports and VBA modules but they do allow you to visualize the data. Although this isn't perfect, they're far easier and cheaper than having to install Windows on your Mac and then install Access if you only need to view Access databases.
    Which one you use really depends on what you need to do. They can be summarized as:
    MDDB ACB Viewer - Probably the best of the lot as it open both old and new Access files and exports to Apple Numbers
    MDB Tool - Very simple to use but not for Access 2010+
    MDB Explorer - Exports to SQLLite but requires an upgrade for Access 2007+ files
    ACCDB MDB Explorer - Very limited editing of databases but supports multiple ACCDB databases
    MDB Lite - Only works with Access 2003 files but very easy to use
    Hope this helps as a basic overview of the main tools available but if you you can find a more in-depth look at Access for Mac software here.

  • G560: How to activate the trial version of Microsoft Office?? Phone Support a Disaster

    I bought my wife a Lenovo G3560 for Christmas.  In attempting to set up the computer, I was instructed to enter the product key from an enclosed card to activate the trial version of Microsoft Office.
    There was no card.
    On the first attempt to get phone help from Lenovo, I couldn't seem to get the person on the phone to understand I was trying to activate a trial version of Office.
    On the second attempt, my son (who is a bit more computer-savvy than I), phoned, and was told there is no trial version, we have to purchase a key for the full version from Microsoft.
    On the third attempt, I requested a supervisor.  While I was on hold, I finally figured out that the information on the computer was wrong.  No card is needed -- the trial version opens after hitting Start, then "all programs" and then scrolling down to "Microsoft Office Starter."  Why this information was not provided is unclear.  Why clearly incorrect information was provided is utterly mysterious.
    By the way, the Lenovo spell checker does not recognize the word "Lenovo."
    This is my first day with a Lenovo product.  It does not auger well.
    Moderator edit: subject added to subject line for clarity

    Just as a suggestion - when your Office trial is up - check out www.openoffice.org
    They have a free Office Suite that is reallly very decent.  Best of all it is FREE!

  • Hi I just purchased a Mac Book Air and installed the 2008 version of Microsoft and office

    I purchased a mac book air and installed the 2008 version of Microsoft Home and office.... would i need to purchase the latest version to upgrade
    or is it upgradable through a download?

    Office for Mac 2011 (or Office 365) are both available as downloads.  Start at mactopia.com.
    I would say they are not treated as "upgrades" to Office 2008.  I don't believe there is any pricing discount for previous Office users, nor do I think the download uses any of the Office 2008 version and updates it.  Whichever of the two current Office products you purchase would be considered an entirely new and different product.
