Vertical distribution issue
I have a gant chart I'm working on. Each bar is the same height. There is text within each bar (actually on top of, but smaller than the height of the bars). I grouped together each "label" and bar separately. Then I try to distribute them vertically evenly... and the bottom 4 do just that... but the top one is much higher (further away) from the other four. I can't figure out why. I made sure nothing weird was grouped with the first bar. Nothing is. Any ideas? Thanks so much.

Sometimes, Illy gets confused, and it may be in different ways.
I believe we have never heard of this way, but you may try some of the things on the following general list of increasingly laborious/unpleasant actions.
Obviously, you will need the actual issue to check.
You may try the following (you may have tried/done some of them already) and see whether it helps (the following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file; 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences):
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder http://www.bugge.com/Family-and-friends/Illy/illy.html (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5); Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Vertical Distribution not working properly
Hi there,
I am attempting to distribute 6 pictures/objects (not text or text boxes) of similar widths but varying heights vertically, with even space between them, to the slide. I have the top and bottom centred and placed at the top and bottom of the slide, however objects 2-5 fail to evenly distribute themselves, and instead distribute strangely together. They are not overlapping, but they aren't spaced evenly in regards to the top and bottom object, or each other.
Here is a rough example of how it looks on the slide after using vertical distribution:

I would really appreciate some help with this issue!

I'm not sure how Lenovo doesn't have recalls yet but in our company we have T430's T440's and T450's that have a vertical line on the LCD screen. Almost everyday we have 1-2 laptops with this issue. What's even worse is we purchased some T440p's last year and for some reason they were only under warranty for a year and not 3 years and now one of the laptops T440p ran out of warranty as of 7/20/2015 and it's having this Vertical line issue. What is one suppose to do in a situation like this? It's fairly a new computer. We've had this issue on brand new machines out of the box. How is lenovo not getting sued for this problem?

Name Paragraph Format as 'IL' Now click on the Push Button "Tabs" on bottom Right.
now in "Tab Position" enter the spacing that you need for your item dispaly

The above example is for 3 items
Now in your Script Windows-> Main

Vertical line issue - How can we get Apple to address this?
Hi guys,
As can be seen in this forum (and a lot of other forums, as well), a lot of people are experiencing this problem on their 17" iMac G5 with iSight. Here are some pertinent details (which may be familiar to a lot of people but can be a primer for those who are just starting to experience the problem):
1. For most of us, these lines started appearing between 13-15 months after they purchased them. The lucky ones either had these failures occur during the first 12 months, or had APP.
2. The majority of these units can be traced to the Shanghai factory W8 (enter your S/N in this website to get the manufacturing information of your unit: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html).
3. A similar issue occurred (or is occurring) with 17" PBs. From what I have read on the Apple PB forums, it seems that this has been a long standing issue and Apple has SUPPOSEDLY attempted to censor some of the posts discussing this. Note that these units can also be traced back to the same Shanghai factory.
4. The "iMac G5 Repair Extension Program for Video and Power Issues" which certain people have always been referring users to on posts discussing this type of problem obviously refers to a totally different issue (http://www.apple.com/support/imac/repairextensionprogram/) and is applicable only to first gen iMac G5s. I'm sure that everyone appreciates it but, at this point, it is quite clear that it is not the solution to our problem.
5. Based on the number of posts discussing this very same problem in the Apple forums, it is pretty obvious that these are not isolated issues. There are too many similarities (time of failure, how the numbers of line increase over time, manufacturing source, etc.)
6. Some people have suggested that unstable power sources may be the primary cause of the problem. However, based on the locations of the people with these problems who have posted in this forum, it seems unlikely. From what I can see, the problem happens whether you are from a highly industrialized country (where a stable power source can be expected) or a developing country (where power sources MAY be more unstable).
7. Apple has typically responded (to anyone who has taken the time to write or have their iMacs inspected) that this is not a known manufacturing defect issue. As such, the cost to repair this problem, which can go up to USD 500, will have to be borne by the owner.
8. Based on posts of some people who have had their units repaired, it is the LCD that has to be replaced. This is also supported by posts from people who have resorted to purchase a separate display as a workaround.
Now, the question is, *how do we get Apple to address this issue*? Do we all start writing Steve Jobs about it? Do we go to the press? Should we put up a website and Digg it to death? A spoof video on YouTube? MySpace? Or will we just suffer in silence? Suggestions anyone?
P.S. Suggestions that involve any sort of violence or industrial sabotage are not acceptable, please.
Note that Ale_Tog has put up a Flickr page where we can post photos of our poor iMacs. Just send the photo to [email protected] with the subject "Dead pixels on iMac". No text, just the photo attachment. (+Ale_Tog, if you read this, I hope you don't mind me posting this here. Also, I suggest that we at least put the first 5 chars of the serial number, the factory information which can be retrieved on the link in #2 above, and which country the unit is based.+). I highly recommend that everyone send a photo to show that these are not isolated issues.

Please start sending your suggestions. The more the many-ier!Yep. I feel Apple's 1 year manufacturer warranty for the iMac is not adequate, especially for an all-in-one unit with a relatively high price.
My iMac G5 started displaying a vertical cyan line about 4 weeks ago, only about 19-20 months after I bought it for Christmas in 2005.
I called up Apple to enquire what could be done and was told by their customer service that a rather long period had elasped since the warranty expired in 2006. So I was told to take the iMac to an authorised repair centre and Apple will not contribute to the cost of the repair.
I expect respectable service life from my computer and anything less than 5 years is totally unacceptable. Thus I seriously question the value proposition for the iMac in this respect. Does it mean that I have to replace my iMac every 2 years? The computer still feel reasonably zippy, I still have plenty of space left on my hard drive, but the screen is failing ...
Today another line (green) appeared on the screen ...
It is my understanding that a number of LCD monitor manufacturers are now providing 3 year warranties for their products. Now why should Apple only provide a 1 year warranty? Especially when the replacement option will cost more than buying an entire new LCD monitor with even better specifications?
Based on the number of responeses I have seen here, this is not a rare occurance and I seriously question their quality control in their manufacturing process. I think Apple should be responsible for these repairs, and also provide a 3-year warranty for their LCD screens.
My iMac's serial number is W8548Zxxxxx.

Vertical line issue in SAP Script main window
Hi All,
I want to draw a vertical line in my main window in SAP Script output.
But problem is in main window i am printing some texts at the beggining then i am printing line items.
So this is not fixed line (box). It may increase/decrease based on text available before line items.
How can i manage this prining vertival line as i don't know height, top of this line!

Our business is Distribution. some times from our stock we use to send the material to customer and get it replaced by our vendor A for free. The issue is excise invoice. Our Vendor A does not give Excise invoice at the time of free replacement. We tried using a free replacement invoice and using the same excise to take the stock into sap using 511 movement. But, the issue is that cost impact in finance is missing. Could you please suggest an alternative method?

ADF Table vertical scroll issue in Chrome & Safari, works fine in FF & IE

I have a jspx page with a command link. On click of link, opening a popup. Displaying a ADF table inside popup dialog.
Problem Statement : I have set contentDelivery="immediate" & autoHeightRows="8" in ADF table. while running the application in Chrome & Safari and moving vertical scroll up & down rapidly, first few rows & last few rows are not visible respectively. But if i scroll up & down using scroll arrow it's working as expected.
But there is NO issue while running the application in IE & FF and moving vertical scroll up & down rapidly.

I have two related issues regarding the distribution function in Arobat 9.0.
We have an order form with a "submit by email" button on it. Myself and a co-worker, Leon, are responsible for completing that form for each order. I created the form in LiveCycle and with Acrobat 9.0, used the distribution function to send it to Leon and myself. I sent it to automatically collect the data on my own server.
When I take an order and click submit, it doesn't go through the email process, Acrobat just notifies me that the message was sent and the order database is updated with Adobe Tracker. When Leon clicks submit, he has to go to the email process.
Question 1: If I were to, and can I, move the collection folder that I originally set up on my own server to a common server that he and I share, would he be able to then skip the email process?
Question 2: He only has the Adobe Reader 8.0, whereas I have the full program. How does this affect his ability to fully take advantage to the distribution and collection process?
Thanks!We have a solution that allows you to do most of what you want, including bulding the form, having people fill it out either in Reader (as an XFA-PDF) or on the iPad (as an HTML form).
You design the form once, and it will by styled correctly on the appropriate platform.

Vertical Alignment issue in Safari
I have an issue in Safari displaying content of a table cell as if it's middle aligned and not vertically aligned. It works fine in IE and FF, but not in Safari.
I am using a basic CSS setting for the table cell with vertical-align=top. I have also put in in the td tag valign=top and still have the problem where the content is middle aligned and not top aligned.
Has anyone seen something like this and know what I can do to get it to work?Do you have a sample or a screenshot that illustrates this?

30" vertical banding issue (thick grey overlay)
I have a 2 year old 30" display which has recently begun having some issues. The problem has only happened twice so far, once 1-2 months ago, and the again a couple days ago. What happens is randomly the screen will get light/dark vertical bands of various thicknesses and intensities. It will stay like this regardless of restarts, leaving the computer and display off for 6+ hours, unplugging and replugging all cords, changing resolutions, plugging the display into other computers/laptops, etc.... for about two days. Then it will "fix" itself.

I have AppleCare and called support about this issue just now. They won't give me a repair ticket or replacement unless it happens again, in which case I'm supposed to call again, and they'll let me ship it in for repairs. My frustration is that it's happened twice, I'm sure it'll happen again, however if I can get it taken care of now, while I"m between photography projects, then it's a minimal impact, however, if I wait, and it does this again while I'm under a deadline working on a photo shoot, then I'm screwed. I explained this to the support rep to no avail.
I'm going to try bringing it to my local genius bar tomorrow and show them the pictures, since now the display looks normal, and see if they can help me any.
I guess i have two questions:
1) has anyone seen this before? I see many posts about thin colored vertical lines, but I haven't seen this issue before.
2) any suggestions on how I can handle getting a repair or replacement taken care of?

Listbox row 0 and vertical scrollbar issue
Hi,
I tried to do simple VI where I can check items in the Listbox control. My problem is that when I click anywhere on the vertical scrollbar or buttons with the triangles, Mouse Down event triggers and check item in the row 0.
Is this an issue or is it just a mistake in code?
For some reason I am not able to attach VI, so block diagram is below.

CCA planning price distribution issues
Hi Gurus,
When we do cost center planning using KP26 it suppose to distribute the prices equally for all the periods based on distribution key. In this scenario we are using the standard distribution key 2 and the values are not distributed equally and it's happening only for few cost centers and not for all of them. I have verified the master data for the cost centers which are having issue and don't see any issues with master data. I am really wondering what can be causing this issue.

BR.Thanks Adi but user is saying he never inputted the planning date for 6 months and there is no way I can prove that. I did some testing and this is what I found. If we input the plan data for 6 months and if we try to view the same plan data for 12 months then system sets up different price (not the amount we entered) for previous months and it's going to default the price we entered from current month onwards.

I've got strange issue with 1 of my primary sites that started just recently. I've updated the content of 1 package and this now needs re-distribution to all DPs. I've got 3 primary sites and on 2 of those the update succeeded and my DP's got
updated correctly. One primary site it does not work and checking distrmgr.log I can see following message every xx minutes

Checking Pkgxfermgr.log does not show anything either, I've tried with 2nd application but again the same result it only shows the the notification message.
I saw similar issue yesterday but with restart of the sms_exec service it eventually distributed the content, obviously this is not something I like to do too often.

When I check monitoring - content distribution I can see the package being updated/distributed to 80% of my DP's and last 20% are the dp connected below this Primary site.
To add to the confusion, there was another package distributed around the same time, and then one actually made it to the remote DP's.
This is first time I see this issue. -
HP laptop vertical scrolling issue?
Not sure if this is in the right section but...
I'm have issues with my laptop's vertical scrolling, and what's worse is that i can't find a way to fix it at all, here's what happens:
I know exactly what to do, but the final step is not working..
Whenever i try to check the vertical scroll from my computer, it does not check, it kinda blinks and stays unchecked, and i cannot find a solution to this at all, it is very frustrating , can anyone help?

View Solution.Look on the bottom of the laptop or inside the battery bay for a model number. Your synaptics driver is installed. I can tell by the red icon on the mouse properties. You might need a driver update. Your driver is from May, 2010. Windows 7? 64 bit?

2011 iMac 27" Bootcamp AMD 6970M screen tearing/vertical sync issues on 2D Video Playback
Hi Everyone,
I am actually running an Radeon 6970M embedded graphics processor on an iMac 27" 2011 model running bootcamp and windows 7 64-bit.
I am having the same issues with the drivers Apple includes on the bootcamp DVD, as I am having with the drivers download from the AMD website dated 4/13/2012 with the filename:
8.96-120315a-135852C-EDG_Direct
The issue I believe is with vertical sync on any 2d video playback or even in normal desktop actions. I see screen tearing visible in normal Windows 7 operations (click and draw a rectangle on the desktop and I see screen tearing).
When I watch flash videos in google chrome or in internet explorer (ie: Hulu Plus, or netflix) I see screen tearing. It is much more visible in the flash videos.
I also see screen tearing when viewing downloaded .MKV or .AVI content, so the issue is not just with flash. I have tried Windows Media Player and VLC player.
I also have tried turning on vsync to always on in the catalyst control center->Gaming->3d applications, but that didn't make any difference. I didn't think it would because it is 2D content that I am having trouble with.
The monitor has a mode for 59hz. When I reduce the refresh rate to 59hz, there seems to be less screen tearing but it is still visible. What is the issue?I was having the same problem - I think I remember figuring it out. It was because I had set windows to display everything at a zoomed level - you do this in Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display. Set it back to 100% and the tearing problem should disappear.
I think it's likely due to a subpar graphics card driver.
