Very Urgent - Target Group count

Hi,
When I create a profile and click on count, it gives me No. of BPs and when I click on "Create Target Group" the No. of BP changes. It always reduces.
Why is this happenning?

More information needed. First and most important, ALWAYS post your CRM version (click on System -
Status -
Click the detail button under the "Component Version" field. Post the BBPCRM Release and Level fields). This helps us understand if certain notes are applicable to your problem.
In this case, the difference between count and final target group size could be because of a program error on SAP's side. Check note 1019180.
If your version is at the same level as what is in the note (i.e. Release 510, Level 0004) then it sounds like you have a more serious problem. You should create an OSS Message to SAP to let them know of this error.
Anyway, if the final target group which was built has the correct entries, the "count" shouldn't matter. It is intended to be just a helper number to let you know how big the target group is going to be, so that you can refine your criteria if needed.

I have a Query got 4 RKFs(local) 2 Formula(ckfs), the out put is like this,

i have created these 2 fks based on 2 rkfs when i try to count the FKfs to get the total as like in Result iam not geting that Result and Ovaral Result Part in my Report.....and count......!
and i have creared one more FKF´s based on the FKF1 puting a Count(FKF1)
and in the properties Calucutlae Result as...SUMMATION. Stil its giving the
sum of FKF´1 ==1.
Is there any solution for this pls let me know

Hi,
I dont see any strange behavior in your Query result.
1. I guess you must be having consdition in your Query.Isn't it? thats y overall result values are not matching to sum of individual values.
(thats why overall result for 80,445...though you see only one Keyfigure value i.e 120,509...)
Please note that Overall result remains unchanged regardless of condition.
2.So when you remove Ftrans ID from drilldown, there are no Keyfigure values(individual values).So overall result is 0.... this is normal behavior.
so you need not worry about it....
deactivate the condition then check and compare the result for better idea.( then you will see overall result matching with summation of individual values).

How can shrink matrix group very urgent

how r u all? i have a little problem. i want to shrink my matrix frame when i donot want to print all columns of matrix group in report. suppose i haev three matrix groups and i want matrix group 2 all columns to be hide at runtime and matrix three group will automatically come at the position of matrix 2 group. please if ant body have any idea about it please email me. this is very urgent problem which i am facing.

It's not very clear what you're looking for. However, one of the following may work for you:
a) Restrict the data at query time through use of parameters and bind variables.
b) Use format triggers to dynamically hide values at runtime (by returning false).
If neither of these solutions works then please provide more details of the problem you're facing.

Target groups in Marketing....Urgent

Hi,
I have created a Profile set and Target groups in the profile set. i have executed the campaign for that.
My Question, is can i add the target group created earlier to the another profile set, if so How?
I am in urgent need of documentation of the same.

Please read carefully the rules regarding target groups in CRM Segment Builder:
-A target group can exist without reference to a profile. If so, it must however reference a profile set ("lies in profile set..") or as a subset, if present ("is attached to profile set ...").
-If a target group is created with the profile set reference "is attached to" (that is, to a subset), it will have the status "active"; and any available target groups of the profile of the subset will be set to "inactive".
-A target group with profile reference always has a set reference ("lies in profile set ..").
-A target group with profile reference cannot be attached directly to a profile set.
Within a profile set, a target group without profile reference is represented by an icon indicating a single target group.
-You cannot move target groups from one profile set to another, however you can copy existing target groups.

If by "add target group to another profile set" you mean to say "COPY target group to another profile set", then yes it is possible to do it.
As for the "how" ... please read the help again:
To copy a marketing segment, select the required segment in the staging area of the Segment Builder and choose either the Copy pushbutton or choose Copy Segments from the context menu. If no individual segments are selected, the entire profile set is copied.
You can choose whether the copied segments are created in a new profile set, an existing profile set, an existing subset, or in a new subset of an existing profile set.

      I was created Generic D.S Using table (AFRU) for Orders Confirmation.I was Created Info Source AND ODS.
     I nedd to maitain ODS Extn.Material Group and Material Group.but These fields are not Avilable in Data Source (AFRU Table not having).
    Data source having Field AUFNR (order number) I was mapped To BW Object 0prodorder. I was maitained master data for 0prodorder.
0prodorder master data (0prodorder_attr) having 0material (PLNBEZ Field mapeed to 0material) as a navigational Attribute.
i am asking to all is it possible to bring Extn.Material Group and Material Group update rule level using master data attribute option?
Please help to me Above issue.it's very urgent.

    This Order Confirmations cube having data from 2 data sources.
    There is a performence issue to clubbing so many tables.
     Any way i was maitained 0material is attribute(Nav Attr) of 0proorder.i was loaded 0prodoreder master data.
   0material having master data .Extn mat group & Material group are Nav Attributes of 0material.
Now is it possible to maitaining the data in cube Extn mat group & Material group ?
Please Give me Suggestion with out adding another table using view.

Counting Unique Records: very urgent

Hi,
I have to create a query for which i have to count the unique records appearing for a particular selection. For that i created a CK and in its agregation set Count all values <> 0 For customer. we are having Modality in my rows and CK in column. Now what happens if for 4 different records there is one customer then output appears one against that modality but it should show 4. As such there is no unique field in the cube that i can count. But we have maintined a Count key figure against each record in the cube that has value 1 for each row. But as it is a Key figure i cannot use it in aggregation. Is there any way to solve this situation....

Creation of empty target group---URGENT!!!!!!!

   I have a scenario in campaign automation where i need to create a target group automatically when ever a customer clicks on yes/no in the survey.
      I hope there is a standard workflow which creates target grooup.but do we need to have an empty target group so that who ever cliks on yes/no can form a target group.?
   When ever a Target group is created,i need to create LEAD automatically from it.How do i achieve this?is there a workflow or BADI? and if at all leads are created automatcally,how are they automatically assigned to Lead qualifier??

its easy as you just assign a new target group to existing or new profile set and do not assign any BP tp that target group
this way you have empty target group at your discretion.

Creating Target group

HI all,
I am trying to create the target group in Segment builder, for which I have done the following settings
1)I have maintained Attributes and attribute set,
2)i have assigned attribute set to Business partner.
3)I also have created Data source here i have maintained
Origin type as attribute set
maintained name of attribute set
function module used Cross-selling: function module CRM_MKTPR_PP_CS_TG_READ,and description.
4)Created attribute list as follows
Description_______
Category:Product proposal
Segment type:Product Proposal and saved.
Then assigned data source and highleted what ever attributes required to display in Segment builder.
The issue here is:
When i go to Segment builder(crmd_mktseg):
in Segment builder when i tried to create profile set for product proposal the system is asking for Profile set description and Master group.
and i am unable to drag and drop profile set onto staging area and create target group.
can u/any one advice me in this regard/

Hi mdv,
For the purpose of creating your target group, the name of the profile set is of no importance. CRM just requires that you do create the target group within a profile set. That being said, when you create a profile set and system asks you for profile set description and master group, just put any words in the description field that is meaningful to you, and don't select anything in the master group.
Once this is done, you will need to drag and drop your 'filter' that you created for your attribute list into the staging area. Then, one very important step (which I missed in the beginning and it took me 8 hours to figure out) is that you need to click on the 'Count' button. Once you see a number on the target group, it means the filter is working. From there you can create your target group and open it for list export.

Default tablespace doesn't say that user cannot create a table in an other tablespace.
You can see what tablespace are used by the user's segments :

Splitter operator doesnt use multi table inserts in OWB...very very urgent

Hi,
I am using OWB 9i to carry out tranformations. I want to copy the same seuence numbers to the two target tables.
Scenario:
I have a source table source_table, which is connected to a splitter and the splitter is used to dump the records in two target tables namely target1_table and target2_table. I have a sequence which is also an input to the splitter, so that I can have the same sequence number in the the two output groups of he splitter. I then map the sequence number from the two output groups to the two target tables expecting to have the same sequence number in the target tables. But when I see the generated code it creates two procedures and effectively inserts sequencing numbers in the target tables which are not consistent. Please help me so that I have the same sequencing numbers in the target tables which are consistent.
Well the above example works in row based operating mode but not in set based mode. Please give me a valid explanation.
OWB pdf says that splitter uses multi table inserts for multiple targets. After seeing the generated code for set based operations I dont agree to this.
Its very urgent.

OWB 9.2.0.2.8
I have three tables T1,T2 and T3.
T1 is the source table and the remaining two tables T2 and T3 are target tables.
Following are the contents of table T1 -
SQl>select * from T1;

ELEC A.P
Now I want to populate the two destination tables T2 and T3 with the records in T1.
For this I am using splitter operator in OWB which is suppose to generate multi table inserts, but unfortunately its not doing so when I generate the SQL. There si no "insert all" command in the sql it generates.
What I want is, when I populate T2 and T3 I use a sequence generator and I want the same sequences for T2 and T3 eg.
SQl>select * from T2;
NEXT_VAL DEPTNAME LOCATIO?N
1 COMP PUNE
2 MECH BOMBAY
3 ELEC A.P
SQl>select * from T3;
NEXT_VAL DEPTNAME LOCATIO?N

I am able to achieve this when I set the operating mode to ROW BASED. I am not geting the same result when I set the operating mode to SET BASED.

we are using marketing attributes for persons and organizations.
Now, we want to realize a segmentation for organizations with marketing attribute productgroup xyz and persons with marketing attribute decider.
Is it possible to combine organizations with marketing attributes and persons with marketing-attributes in one target group?

Im sorry, I think my description was too short. I have the following situation / problem:
I am using InfoSet CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG with business partner BUT000-PARTNER_GUID.
My person datasource based on Info Set CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG and business partner BUT000_PER-PARTNER_GUID.
Furthermore Im using an attribute Set for organizational attributes and an attribute set for person attributes.
Now I want to build up a target group with persons who have specific attributes. The persons should be members of organisations with specific attributes.
Example: Persons with attribute decider should be member of organizations with attribute productgroup xyz.
We are using SAP CRM 5.0. I added the function modul CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP in my organization Datasource.
But I have problems to build up a profil set and a target group where I can combine the attributes of the organizations and the attributes of the persons. The counting result is 0.

Creation of Target group.

Hi All,
I having one urgent requirement, we have maintained the Ztable for maintaning the information of Vehicles against Business partners.
The Fields in the said Ztables are Vehicle type, vehicle Reg Number and BP number.
I want to send the mails using target group to customer who is having Perticular vehicle type for that i have created Infoset using the Ztable, then i have created the data source for target group still i m not getting the desired result !!!!!!
please anybody tell me that i missing any of step for above requirement ???
how to link up the BP to Ztables fields ???

Hi,
You can try this alternative solution:-
Instead of maintaining vehicle type etc in Z table, please crate it as "attribute", and assign it to Business Partners.
You can use CRMD_PROF_BP transaction to assign Attributes to Business partners.
Based on the attributes , you can subsequently create the "target group".
