Vibration is not working in ios7

After updating to ios7, the vibration is not working in my iphone4s, i have checked after disabling the Do not disturb mode.

I have a couple apps that have been in the marketplace for quite some time. Now with iOS 7 there have been some bugs reported. I am trying to rebuild them in XCode 5 with a iOS 6 target. However, I have some serious problems with the StoreKit. The first App always returns "Cannot connect to iTunes" when I try to test an In-App purchase on my iOS 7 iPad. With my second App, the In-App purchase seems to work, however I never get any responses using NSNotificationCenter. "productPurchased" and "productPurchaseFailed" never get hit. I created test users and I believe they are valid. I logged out of iTunes on the device. Does anyone know what might have caused this to stop working for me? I have made no other changes to my code. I am only trying to run it in XCode 5 on an iOS 7 device. Thanks for any help someone might be able to provide!

    I beleive I have solved this.   My router had a setting for Proxy filtering on ports 80, 8000, 3128, and 8080.  Turning this OFF allowed updates to work. I can now update idevices from home.

    Same here. We have this call center in our company where after i have added a call to merge i have to push no. 4 and dial from the keypad. This has never been possible in ios but it have been possible to create a contact called "Merge" and add number 4 as it's phone number. Now by merging first my clients call to my collegegue and then to this "Merge" contact it has been dropping me out of line and my client and collegue are merged.
    Now ios 7 wont let me call to this "Merge" contact's number "4"

    The location of the device ( iphone, ipad) will only be updated if Find My Friends is running on that device. If FMF is completely quit, that device's location will not be updated. This is a terrible change from before !

    Yes. you should keep your media in iTunes, and indeed you should also keep a backup of your library as well. if you have the device set up for manual management then the content would remain on it when deleted from the library, but you would have no way to restore the device if there was a problem.

    Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
    Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

    The reason why the Tap-Dictionary does not work with iOS7 is because iOS7 is failing to make the required Bookmarklet.  When one presses the "click here" to integrate the Tap-Dictionary with Safari it is supposed to make a Bookmarklet in the Bookmark folder.  You can check this by going through your bookmarks and noting its absence.  Fortunately it is possible to generate your own Bookmarklet.  Rather than go to a long explanation on how to do it, here is a link to a page where the explanation has already been given.

    When the Bookmarklet has been made and placed in the bookmarks folder just go to the page you want the definition of and select the bookmark you've just generated to activate it and a tap on any word will show a pop up definition in yellow.

  • Facetime not working in iOS7

    Hi,
    I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS7 on Sept 18 by downloading it directly to my phone. I backed up my iPhone the night before in case something went wrong, but it all seemed to go pretty smoothly by the time I finally managed to download and install it. When my iPhone turned back on everything was in the proper place (eg. all my apps and settings were still there) but I started having issues with iMessage and Facetime.
    iMessage: According to my friends my iMessage was apparently starting multiple threads with people (each from a different email address/phone number linked to my iCloud) but that issue seems to have resolved and messages are being sent normally, from one source.
    Facetime: The main problem that I'm still having is that my Facetime is not working and has not since I upgraded. At first it was not even calling people (I was getting the message "Facetime Failed"). I then followed the instructions I found online (eg. http://www.imore.com/having-trouble-imessage-or-facetime-ios-7-heres-how-fix-it) and tried to reset my Facetime settings. I did a hard reset on my iPhone (holding down both buttons at once until it shut off). I also tried to reset the network settings through the General Settings tab. Sometime after trying some of those fixes I switched from getting the "Facetime Failed" message to having a different problem- whenever I would call someone or they would call me and the call would get answered, we would forever get stuck on the "connecting" screen until someone would end the call. I then restored my phone to factory settings (it redownloaded iOS7 to my computer and installed from there via USB cable) and restored from my backup. I was really hopeful that it would work but I ended up in the exact same place (never getting past "connecting"). I then attempted another iPhone restore but this time I tested Facetime BEFORE I restored by backup. This time Facetime worked. However, when I restored the backup I went back to having the same problem again. I have tried to "Reset all settings" but that doesn't do anything at all to improve the situation.
    Bottom Line: Since downloading iOS7 I have been having issues with Facetime that resolve when I do a hard erase and restore on my phone but then occur again as soon as I restore from my backup. At first when I downloaded the iOS directly on my phone I was getting the "Facetime Failed" message, but since I have done hard restores on my phone it is now "connecting" forever. On one hand I know I could solve this issue by just starting with iOS from scratch and not installing my backup, but I don't want to lose my photos, messages and personal data from the phone. Is there any other way around the issue? Is there some way to repair the backup or to install some parts of it (the data) but not others? I tried using the program iPhone Backup Extractor but apparently my backup is encrypted and the program can't deal with encrypted files on a Mac (I'm on a MacBook Pro).
    Please let me know if you have any ideas or if you have questions about what happened! I really don't want to waste any more time on this than I already have. Plus, I'm super upset because I was one of the people with grandfathered push on my Gmail account via Microsoft Exchange and that seems to have disappeared with the upgrade.

    Ok so I resolved it. I set up the iPhone from new and did NOT restore from backup. I added the apps etc back on manually.
    FaceTime worked perfectly. So I made a new backup.
    I then restored from my previous backup just to check if FaceTime might work and it failed again.
    Tried restore backup from PC and from iCloud - neither worked.
    I went back to my new backup and restored - perfect.
    My advice. Set up as new iPhone. It's a pain but not as much as not having FaceTime.

    I recently purchased a Canon Vixia HF R40.  The big selling point of this camera is that you could use your iphone as a remote as well as wirelessly connect your camera to upload to the web (facebook, youtube, etc).
    I am so frustrated, I have been trying for days to get this camera working properly and its just not doing everything I want that's advertised on your website and was explained to me in the Best Buy store where I purchased.  
    I can get the camera to connect to my phone, but what was explained to me by your support staff today is I actually have to disconnect my phone from wifi and use the camera as my wifi point.  This doesn't make any sense to me.  How is this even going to work?  
    The camera access app cannot find my camera.  After doing some research on other forums and on the pixela website it seems that Pixela only supports up to iOS6.  I don't understand as the page on the app store clearly states it works with the iPhone 5.  All of the 5's and 5S's and etc are all coming with iOS7 so not exactly sure why there is incorrect information and surprised Apple is allowing this, I thought there was a review to get on the app store?
    I spoke to someone at your support center today who then tells me you don't support Pixela.  How can you not support something that is the main driver of a feature on your camera?  Also the guy at best buy told me that Canon is doing away with all of their camcorder models and is no longer going to support them in general.  Is this true????  
    The whole reason I purchased this model and your brand was because I was told Canons are like the "Apple Computers" of the camera world.  They just work.  No fussing, no confusion, no BS.  All I have is confusion, BS and nothing working.  
    Even if you don't own the Pixela app, I would imagine you have some influence over this, can you PLEASE ask them to fix their app so it works on iOS7.  
    If I don't get help in the next few days I'll be returning this camera and going with another brand.  I'm really disappointed.
