Using Wi-Fi®, you can transfer files from your computer to your tablet. Check out  KB26068 How to transfer files to and from the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for more information on how to do this.

  • Help !! I recorded videos on my blackberry playbook but when I play them back on my mac they're mute, no audio.

I recorded videos on my blackberry playbook, however when I play those same videos on my playbook there is audio and video. When I play the videos on my Mac (Mac Mini, running Snow Leopard) the videos work fine except the audio is dropped. The strange thing is that up until about 3 weeks ago, I could play the video and audio on my Mac. Only videos recorded in the last 2 or 3 weeks will not play properly on my Mac
Does anyone know how to fix this ?!

What are you using to play the videos on your Mac, Quicktime X? Try VLC Media Player or MPlayer OS X Extended.

  • Can I download and use celtx script software on the Blackberry Playbook?

Can I download and use celtx script software on the Blackberry Playbook?  I really love the program and was looking at buying a playbook but would only do it if I could download that software.

cups pdf is like cute pdf but for mac
    https://bitbucket.org/codepoet/cups-pdf-for-mac-os-x/downloads
after installing you need to go to settings, printer, add printer
    full instructions here
    http://basics4mac.com/article.php/print_to_pdf
    pdfs go in /Users/Shared/CPS-PDF/{your account name}
This creates a virtual printer just like cute pdf does. This allows pdfs from applications that do not use the mac print interface

  • How to Transfer Purchased iTunes M4V Movies to Blackberry Playbook on Mac OS X

This is a simple tutorial to put purchased iTunes m4v movies to BB Playbook on Mac OS:
First of all, you should know what video formats Blackberry Playbook supports, the current Blackberry Playbook will support: H.264, MPEG4, WMV, DivX. So to watch the iTunes m4v  movies on Blackberry Playbook, you should switch M4V to MP4 format supported by Playbook, to convert m4v to mp4, you will need a powerful converter, Noteburner m4v converter for Mac is recommended.
Step by Step tutorial to convert iTunes M4V movie to MP4 for Playbook on Mac os
Here below is a step by step tutorial to help you transfer iTunes movies to Blackberry Playbook with the Noteburner m4v to mp4 converter for Mac.
Step 1. Download iTunes m4v to mp4 Converter for Mac on Noteburner official website and install it for free.
Step 2. Select M4V movies and add to Noteburner iTunes Video Converter
Click the Add button in the top-left to add the purchased iTunes m4v. The software will open the iTunes movies library by default. Select the files and then click OK.
Here you can select the m4v movies and add to the playlist to convert. It's easy and speedy.
Step 3. Set output path and output format
Click Output dropdown list, you can customize the output path as MP4 for Playbook. If you don't set to customize the output path, the output files will be saved in the default folder
Click Profile dropdown list, you can customize the output formats for your target video format - MP4.
Step 4. Click "Convert" button to start to convert M4V videos with Noteburner M4V iTunes Video Converter for Mac
Step 5. Downloading the converted iTunes movie to Blackberry Playbook without any restrictions.
After Noteburner finishing the iTunes movie converting, you can go to the output folder to download the converted iTunes m4v movies to Playbook by connecting Playbook with your Mac via a USB without any restrictions.
    Just try it, it's easy-to-use.
For a Windows user, you can also refer to Windows m4v converter.

if you want to decode DRM, you simply need to have the "closed keys" to decode them, and the legal right to do it.
For the legal right, it's just a matter of signing a contract with the DRM maker (for example the iPod division has those keys made by the iTunes division).
For the getting the closed keys, it is always possible, but can lead to difficulties in your personal life. look for DeCSS on Wikipedia to understand.

  • Blackberry Playbook Wont show OS 2.0 Update

    Hey you all,
I'm new on the this forum.
Srry for the lack of english its not my native language.
Currently  I got my new Blackberry Playbook, os version 1.0.5.2342.
When I want to update to os 2.0 it just isn't showing it.
That is if I go to the Gear like icon in the top right of the playbook --> software update --> and than Check for Updates.
Its says: You currently have the latest sofware installed.
What could be the problem for this?
I've tryed to reseting the playbook to its original factory settings, but this just deleted all my apps and only shows Browser and Setup.
I also live in Holland but that shouldnt matter or should it?
    Hope someone can help.
    Greeting,
    Oliver

    Try this
    1. Open PB Desktop Manager
    2. Connect PB to PC
    3. Once connection is established go to "Help" should show no updates
    4.  Hard restart PB pressing power button and select "restart"
    5. Once restart has begun Desktop Manager will display a popup window "option to Update" select update
    6. This will take a long time approximate 15-20 minutes while the Original OS is downloading from RIM server
    7. Follow on screen instruction at end
The original factory install will have been restored (all images, videos original games etc) . You need to re-initialize the PB from the start, just as if you just got it home from your store purchase.

  • Where's the Blackberry PlayBook CD?

Still trying to find ways to transfer video files from my PlayBook to my IMac. I've downloaded the BlackBerry article: "How to transfer files to and from the Blackberry PlayBook tablet." WIFI sharing is an option, but at this point I'd still stumped by some of the instructions. The article also has a section entitled: "File Sharing with a Mac via USB connection". That one looks a bit more straightforward so I thought I'd try that. Problem here is that instruction #2 says "On the desktop or within Finder, double click "BlackBerry PlayBook CD"?
What CD? I've checked my box and sure enough no CD came with my Playbook. If you read "Kit Contains" on the box it's clearly not listed. So baffled. Might there be a way to download this CD?
    John
p.s. I'm going this route to download video to my Mac because of problems I'm having using the BlackBerry Desktop Software. It keeps sending the video to IPhoto.

Thanks for that jarviser. I was wondering, but I don't have a Mac so I can't confirm the little things like that. Will see if I can pass that info on so that it gets fixed.

  • Bought app in order to sync itunes with a blackberry playbook.  Now Itunes will open on my computer but when i plug  my ipods in to charge or sync, itunes is not showing that they are plugged in. Cant charge or anything!

Obviously not too smart with all this technology.  I puchased a Blackberry Playbook Tablet and wanted to sync my itunes music, so following directions on the Playbook, I downloaded this app - Daniel Bingham Itunes sync - and when I went to my pc, I pulled it up, plugged in my Playbook and it did sync all my music from my Itunes library to the Playbook.  However, now when I plug an ipod in my pc to charge or sync more music, my pc is not showing it recognizes any of my ipods being plugged in.  It makes no mention of any of my ipods being connected!  I also keep getting this "Found New Hardware Wizard" box that keeps popping up everytime I plug an ipod in - it originally showed up when I had Playbook plugged in to download all its info (I think) but it never completes, saying not compatible - so I click cancel. I have since clicked on remove New found hardware but it still pops up. Why does it continue to show with every Ipod now?  Any idea on what I can do to repair this situation?  Please help!

  • HT204266 I am trying to connect a blackberry playbook to the Mac.  I have OS 10.5.1 and it says I need OS 10.6.  Is that a free update or do I have to purchase a new OS?  I just want to load music on to the playbook.

Trying to connect a blackberry playbook to the Mac.  It says I need OS6.  Is that a free update or do I have to buy a whole new operating system?  Just want to download some music to the playbook.  Also, is it possible to use a iTunes card directly to the playbook and bypass the Mac?  Thanks for any info you can provide.

The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list. The App Store which is required to download 10.7 or 10.8 is part of the 10.6.6 update.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

We have Adobe Connect 8 (Multilanguage - Portuguese) installed on a server. Connect Mobile for RIM Blackberry Playbook hangs while trying to connect to the server. Hayward Drummond has posted a notice about Adobe Connect 8.1.2 that seems to solve this problem, known as BUG 2886745. I sucessfuly downloaded this update but I´m not sure if it is compatible with Adobe Connect 8 Multilanguage - Portuguese.  Does anyone know something about it? I also need to first install version 8.1.1 in order to upgrade to 8.1.2, as remarked by Hayward. Does anyone know where can I download version 8.1.1 (Multlanguage - Portuguese)?
