Video/Photo Message Help!
My sister (sister A) has a Samsung Galaxy S2, I have an iPhone 4, so does my other sister (sister B).
If sister A text's me a video, I can't see the video, I just get sound. She can send the same video to sister B and she can see it fine and even send it to me at which point I CAN watch it.
If I text sister A a photo she gets prompted to send read recipts. This only happens between the two of us. No one else gets them from me and she doesn't get them from anyone else.

A friend gave us her used iphone. We used it to take home videos and photos, and now that we synced it to our PC it has lost everything on it, and it has been replaced with the contents of our already existing iPod. In other words, all our music, photos and apps that were on our existing itunes account (used with our IPOD) etc, have been put into this used iPhone. Is there any way to get back all that stuff (mainly just want our home videos and photos back!!) Where on earth are they? Are they stored somewhere on my PC? I feel so dumb for syncing it now, and very sad for having lost my precious videos of my kids.

If you open the recovery drive (partition) it should only have a single folder (Recovery).
To make sure that your not saving restore points to that drive.
See:
Start, Control Panel, System, System Protection tab. Make sure the D drive partition is set to OFF so that it does not save there.

Hi All,
I've recorded some video, which I've included in my Project. I now want to mix photo's with the video. The video already has audio on it - so the idea is:
a) Video of me speaking
b) An image from a photo from iPhoto.
All the while the photo is displayed, my audio from the video is talking over the image. When the duration of the clip ends - the image is returned to me speaking.
Basically overlaying an image over a video whilst preserving the audio.
I managed to do this once! But now I can't do it again What I'm doing is dragging photos over to the project timeline - just like titles.
The problem is: When playing back the video - the photos aren't being displayed!
Can anyone please help ? This is for a presentation that I'm putting together for my Thesis.

Basically you are limited to one (and only one) photo being overlayed to a segment of video (with complete control). So the first thing you probably want to do is split the the video into individual segments where the number of segments is at least the same as the number of photos you wish to "cut" to while you are talking. (I.e., expand the project clip and scrub through it to locate each point where you wish to "split" the main video and then select the split option.) Next, simply drop each photo to the segment where you want it displayed and adjust the in and out points where you want the photo to transition in over the video and back out to the video by simply dragging the left and right edges of the "blue" area representing the dropped photo display duration. Then repeat this as many times as needed. -
I have deleted all photos, messages and apps but I still have no available space on my phone even though the applications don't add up to 12 GB.. Please help!!!
You have data corruption. restore your phone and set it up as a new device. Not from backup

I hope someone can help me with this, the stuff I've lost is so important to me it's actually scary. I can't beleive this has happened.
I last synced my iPhone 4s on the 29th August, there's been nothing majorly important put on since then so I can cope with losing the stuff that was saved in the interim.
Anyway, over the last few days when I connected the phone to iTunes i got an error message saying iTunes can't recognise the iPhone. Restore the iPhone in order to rectify this. So i downloaded iOS 5.1.1.
Then Last night i did restore the phone and install the new iOS... The restore went ok, but when it came to sync the phone from my last sync on the 29/08/2012 it said the sync could not be saved to the phone??? The phone had the correct contacts, music etc...but no photos... The Camera Roll has disappeared, all my previous SMS/iMessages and my conversations in Whatapp, my call history, my reminders in my Calendar, my Stocks, the cities I've listed in my Weather App.... you get the idea!
So at this point I restored the phone again and the same thing happened, however when I got the error message saying that the sync couldn't be saved to the phone then I tried again, and it synced successfully, but I think it's to this new "version/state" of the phone... So now my most recent sync for the phone was on the 12th August and all the photos, messages etc were missing when it went through...
How can I get my original stuff back? There were hundreds of photos on there that are of huge importance and I'm gutted at the thought of losing them.
Any Help would be hugely appreciated guys. I'm at a dead end here...

try resetting your network settings: Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings. This works fine if something is messed up with your carrier bundle.

during restore of my backup on iphone 5s i saw my photos and videos get doubled on ios 8.0 and moreover
if i use to go at my computer and then open my iphone and in folder i see some files name local disk and my photos
please help my memory doubles.I'm not sure, but I know it's not recommended to upgrade to iOS 8 on anything older than an iPhone 5. I only lost my music playlists and music that was on my phone, but that music is also on my iTunes, not the playlists though, and I don't want to go through ALL my iTunes library to fix it either... But it seems I don't have a choice right now.
Whatever you do, do NOT upgrade to iCloud Drive, keep iCloud till OS X Yosemite comes out, if your computer is a Mac. I also just noticed that all my documents on my phone are gone from Pages, BUT if I go on the iCloud website they are still there. Hopefully it will all work itself out when I can update my macbook pro to OS X Yosemite.
If you backed up your phone and all your purchases off your iPhone prior to trying to upgrade you should be fine... But I'm not even remotely sure. -

Unless the photos are synced somewhere to your computer or somewhere else I don't believe you can.

I seen so many of these post for windows users.
Try my little "trick" (must be running iOS 4.3 or better)
Download the app "Download Manager Lite" (FREE) or "Download Manager" Full ($ 1.99 USD)
After downloading, transfer it to iTunes
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
After transferring, Go to your iDevice (on itunes), to the apps page, scroll down, you can add/save videos and/or files.
Click on "Add", find the folder of which your movies are being downloaded. Its much faster than syncing from itunes.
You can do the wi-fi transfer, the best part is that you don't have to be connected to the same wi-fi.
You will get 2 different URLs you need to type on your computer. Type the Web URL not the ftp URL. After that, you should have access to the app, without the need of itunes.
Click on Add, find the folder of where your movies are stored, faster than syncing with iTunes.

Help with photo messaging on ios7
I have just upgraded my iphone 4 to ios7, and it appears that I can no longer receive photo messages (though it appears that I can send them). Is this something that has been removed?? I have MMS messaging and SMS messaging on. I have the same issue on my husbands phone, and he is with a different telco.
And by removed, I mean fixed - I would love to be able to send photo messages!!

So today i had apparently sent an audio message to my crush and he had saved it. The only thing is the message is not coming up and i dont know what i sent. I must have accidently hit it by accident but i dont want to ask him what i had said in it or what was going on. Im super nervous and hope that i had not said something about him. Please help!

Burning a DVD - keep getting encoding errors message, help?
I have a video that I made out of videos, photos, and music that is less than an hour in length. I selected highest quality b/c it was less than the available 4.7 GB of available space. It took over a day to burn and at the very end it gave me a message saying that it was having encoding errors. Help! I am trying to burn it again at reduced quality, but prefer to have it at highest quality.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
What are the properties of the video that went on that Timeline....video compression, audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, file extension, pixel aspect ratio....photos - how many and what pixel dimensions??
Based on the properties of your source media, what did you or the project select as the project preset?
When you go to the burn dialog for your burn to DVD, what did the quality area of the burn dialog show for Space Required and Bitrate (with a check mark next to "Fit Content to Available Space"? The only time I would work without the check mark there is if I was getting Data Rate Error message and I had to set the Bitrate manually to move forward.
What is the exact wording of the message(s) that you are getting once you hit Burn in the burn dialog?
Let us start here and then we can decide what next.
