Video playlists no longer auto-playing (4.3)
I've noticed that my music video playlists no longer auto-play from one song to the the next with the latest OS update (iPhone 4.3, Apple TV 4.2). Basically, a music video stops and the next one doesn't start until I press play again.
Any solutions?
I have the same problem.
I am using an iPhone 4 (iOS 4.3) and various Apple TVs (4.2).
When i start a playlist with music videos from the iTunes store, the first video will be played on the Apple TV and then Apple TV plays this Video again but "repeat" is not selected. Actually the next clip in the list shut be played. Seems to be a bug :-(

CS5 Video Clip no longer auto plays
Hi,
I have a video player that I'm creating in Flash -- my video clips are on different scenes and I wanted a "menu" bar to allow the viewer to pick which scene they wanted. I found tutorials for various scrolling thumbnail menu bars and I eventually found a code which allowed me to click from scene to scene.
However, now that the menu bar works, the video clips do not automatically play anymore and I'm not sure why.

I only have one action script on the scene, which is the top layer that has [AS]stop();[/AS]

Thanks!you need to remove:
gotoAndPlay (2)
so your video can play. you've embedded your flv into your timeline so it only plays when the timeline plays and that goto is preventing the timeline from playing.
of course, if you remove that the thumbnail code won't work.
bottomline: your project code is a mess and using an flv in a timeline is not what you should be doing.
you should have no code attached to objects, no frame loops and no flvs embedded in a timeline. you should attach your code to a timeline, user an enterframe loop and use an flvplayback component to play your flv(s). -
Podcast app no longer auto-plays next episode. Is this a setting that I can change?
After updating to iOS6 and downloading the app update, the the next episode in the "unplayed episode" list no longer auto-plays. I really liked that feature and would like to be able to turn it on again. Any one know if there is a setting and where it is? I've tried to find it to no avail. Thanks!

I like to listen to podcasts in my car. But my favorite podcasts last 4-6 minutes and the iPhone is in the glovebox
Needless to say I had to stop listening to podcasts since the podcast App took over the music app. -
After upgrade my iPhone 5 to iOS 8 my music playlist unable to auto play while I plug in to my car device. I've to manually click play on my phone in order to listen song as well as i unable to use my car device to control next song previous song as well as other playlist. My video playlists from iTunes stop playing after about 3 episodes. It just appears to buffer for no reason. I have checked to make sure that the hard drive that these movies are on does not go to sleep. Any ideas?

The "Tools" are in the old drop down menu, which are not shown by default in the new Firefox Design. To show this menu:
Firefox Menu > Customize
On the bottom left there will be Show/Hide Toolbars. The Menu will be listed here. -
ITunes Home Sharing No Longer Auto-Plays On The iPad?
I have my movies on an external G-Drive connected to my Mac with FireWire.
iTunes has Home sharing on using an Airport Extreme. On the iPad when I select
the Shared Tab, my movie collection cover art begins to load as normal. Then I
Select a movie and the cover art is displayed on the right and the movie info on the
left.
The problem is when I select the play button from that screen. The iPad screen goes
black and nothing else happens?
If I tap on the black iPad screen the movie controllers then pop up and if I hit play then
it begins to play. It used to play automatically right after I selected play from the splash screen.
Any suggestions?It appears that the buffering is taking an unsual longer time to load everything and this may be preventing the auto play from playing the movie as instant as possible.
I also noticed that if I go to edit a movie file on itunes it is taking a bit longer for the selected file to pop up for my edit. -

Internet video sound takes long to play on Safari

Ever since I upgraded to Yosemite my Safari has been giving me problems with playing sound. It takes it about 30 secs to 1 min of only playing for it to just start giving audio. Has anyone else encountered this problem too? and, could you solve it and how?

With the new OS5 I have no video playlists
With the new OS5 I can not use my video playlists any longer, since the video playlists are no longer synchronized. Is there an alternative? It's not about playlists for the videos in the camera role (here Video Roll would do the job), but for video clips. Thanks!
I don’t have a solution for the issue of video playlists being removed from OS5 but I sure hope Apple returns the feature. The Video player app only shows thumbnails alphabetically. It does not provide a list view option that can be sorted by date created as the Playlists can. Neither does it allow a way to sort the videos into categories like family, work, sports, etc. Playlists are great for this. IMO, the removal of video playlists was a really BAD decision.

Windows task bar no longer auto hides when I fullscreen a flash video.
Like the question reads, my task bar is no longer auto hiding when I full screen flash videos in firefox. Other than the obvious issue of it just being unsightly and annoying, It also causes a few other problems. One being that the computer no longer recognizes that a fullscreen video is playing so it goes to screen saver, and goes to sleep at its normally timed intervals.
If you're using higher DPI settings, please check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" on 'firefox.exe' (=> right-click - Properties - Compatibility tab).

Can a one please help me turn off auto play for Facebook the option is no longer in my General settings why is this ?
And yet the link you posted only tells you how to do it on the Facebook App for Android. Nothing about the Facebook page is mentioned at all, or how to do it on an iPhone.
With that said, and assuming you have the most up to date version of the Facebook App, you can now turn the auto play feature Off within the Facebook App itself. Tap on the "More" icon on the bottom right, then scroll down to Settings->Videos and Photos->Auto Play. If Smart auto-Play is on turn it off. Then you can set the check mark on "Never Play Videos Automatically" which is the same as Off. -
Hi. I have got Music Video's on iPad Mini on a Playlist on iTunes. When I use 'shuffle' option the audio of the track is heard but no video is played (only a 'still' from the video). When using the Video option on the desktop, plays videos but does not allow you to 'playlist' them or shuffle them. I can shuffle Music Video playlist on iPhone and on PC. So why not on iPad Mini. Can someone help? Thanks
There does not appear to ba a facilty for this on the iPad. However there are a number of apps that will allow you to create and play video playlists. Try VP Lite which is free.

Hopefully someone can help.... I have an Iphone 5 and want to create a music video playlist on my phone so then i can play through my apple tv... but when i make a playlist in itunes and try to add it over to my iphone it wont let me sync the playlist...? I have already added the music videos to my iphone so that is not the problem.... i cant seem to figure out how to make a playlist for them... IE: to make the videos play consecutively in the order i want without stopping after each video and gong back to the list.... this is what i have had to resort to make it work....what i want to do....is be able to make a playlist of videos on my iphone 5....take my apple tv to friends houses and with wifi....set up apple tv and play videos at the party and not have to stand by with the remote and find a new video to play stopping the music between the songs/videos....very annoying....and have spent over 4 hours one day and an hour and a half today on the phone today with a sr. advisor with apple and they have no clue.... this seems sooooo simple.... please somebody that really knows how to do this....i will be indebted forever...............

I am using an iPAD2 with 32gbytes on iOS8.1.1.
After upgrading to iOS8.0, the movies I had on my iPAD no longer would play. When I select a movie, it changes to the play screen, then immediately flips back to the selection screen. The movies are in the :movies" category. I tried to reclassify them to "home movies" under the INFO option, but it is grayed out.
I did just copy another movie and it automatically was classified as a "home movie" and it play just fine. My guess is this has something to do with the category it is in. However, I cannot change the categories on the previous movies.

Hi. Downloaded iphone 6.0 and my video playlists in "Music" are now gone, but their names are still there. The videos are still in "Videos" and play from there 1 at a time manually. It gets weirder:
When looking at the empty screen with the name of my former playlist on top, if I tap the edit button on the phone, tap the + button to add a 'song' to the playlist, and then tap 'Done' without adding anything, I can see all my videos in the playlist with the red minus symbol next to each of them. But as soon as I tap 'Done' again they all disappear!
I saw on another forum that someone has had the same problem but fixed it by, and I quote
"If you go to Get Info and change the Media Kind from Movie to Music Video under the Options tab, they all now appear in the playlists!"
I'm happy this worked for him, but when I tap "File" in itunes, the "Get info" field is greyed out, so I can't test the solution proposed.
Any ideas?
