Whay should I do?
Thx

Make sure your Adobe Flash  is up to date. Open Activity Monitor from the Applications>Utilities folder. Make sure All Processes is selected and not just My Processes. Look at the CPU tab and see if something is using a lot of CPU when watching a video.

  • Quicktime plays video in slow motion

    Quicktime plays my video from a Sony NEX-3 camera [H.264 MP4 files] in slow motion. The images plays at a reduced speed, while the sound plays at full speed. One consequence is that image and sound is completely out of sync. The video plays fine in iMovie and MPEG stream clip.
    I tried in two Macs: a Macbook Air (10.6.6) and a Macbook (10.6.5) and on both the video is slow motion, but on the Macbook it is extreme slow motion, while on the Macbook Air it is slight slow motion [mainly noticeable through lack of sync between image and sound].
    Video from iPhone 4 plays without problems in Quicktime.
    Since iMovie plays the Sony video fine, I would assume it is not a Sony video problem, but a bug in Quicktime. How do I get Apple to fix that bug?

      SQL*Net message from client                  7654        1.09         10.09  = 0.00118 perI am not sure how much help I am able to offer after looking at the problem for about two hours. First, a couple observations:
    * The trace file contained 4 SQL statements which you executed and 129 SQL statements that you did not execute. It might be interesting to manually look at the trace file for SQL statements with dep=1 or greater. It looks like these SQL statements might be taking a bit of time.
    * The NI_TRN_EBIZTASK_INDX4 index is returning 27.7% of the rows from DIRP_TRN_EBIZTASK, which I suspect means that it is an index on the task_type column - this might not be a very selective index.
    * The client is fetching about 15 rows at a time of the 114,793 rows retrieved per execution, but this is apparently accounting for only about 10 seconds of time.
    * In one of the three executions, 204,505 blocks were read from disk for the full table scan portions of the execution plan, with an average of 14.8 blocks read per read call, and averaging 18.2 milliseconds per multiblock read - this might be a little high for an average time.
    * In one of the three executions, 3,206 blocks were read from disk for the index portion of the execution plan, with an average of 9.6 milliseconds per read - this is probably a reasonable average time.
    * Very few rows are eliminated during the hash joins, meaning that an average of about 1,780,000 rows are being repeatedly passed from hash join to hash join per execution.
    * Just looking at the table that was aliased twice, it appears that the optimizer would be able to work out the following:
    dirp_trn_ebiztask t1
      t1.ebiz_contlp_no = tl.ebiz_lp_no
      t1.COMP_ID = tl.COMP_ID
      t1.COMP_ID = trl.COMP_ID
      t1.COMP_ID = t2.COMP_ID
    dirp_trn_ebiztask t2
      t2.ebiz_lp_no = tl.mast_ebiz_lp_no
      t2.ebiz_trailer_no = trl.ebiz_trailer_no
      t2.COMP_ID = trl.COMP_ID
      t2.COMP_ID = tl.COMP_IDFrom the above, it appears that you are trying to set up the following join order:
    t1 -> tl -> t2 -> trlIf I am reading the plan correctly, the optimizer worked out the following join order:
    t1 -> (t2 -> tl) -> trl* Considering the number of rows returned by each operation, including the final hash join, it probably would not help much to force the original join order.
    * The hash joins are spilling to the temp tablespace, but considering the number of rows involved, there probably is not much which can be done to avoid this usage of the temp tablespace.
    * Per execution, the sort group by operation took 1,780,310 rows as input and output 114,793 rows.
    Questions:
    What is the value of DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT?
    What is the extent size of the tables?
    What is the hardware configuration?
    What version of Oracle is this (Trace file compatibility: 10.01.00 found in TKPROF output)?
    You might check to see if there is another SQL statement which will return the 114,793 rows per execution. Unless your server had an extremely large buffer cache with the tables and indexes forced to the KEEP pool, it will continue to be the primary problem where the reading of the tables and indexes are causing the majority of the performance problem. But even with the table and index blocks completely cached in the buffer cache, the 409,403 consistent reads per execution will likely continue to burn at least 92 seconds (note that this number may not be correct due to the recursive calls) of CPU time per execution.

    Is it possible to put videos in slow motion?

    Yes, probably the easiest method is to use the Time Stretch Tool and just lengthen the Duration of the Clip. Or Rt-click and choose Time Stretch to do this numerically.
    Good luck,

    Hi drclaudio,
    Have you looked at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fixing-facebook-or-youtube-problems Youtube video troubleshooting section] that we've put together? There is a lot of useful information in there that will probably help.
    Cheers!

  • How can I replay the video in slow motion?

    I would like to replay my videos in slow motion on my iPad so that I can analyze my tennis and golf strokes.

    I'd like to know how to do this now too since the terminal command doesn't work in Lion / ML. Anyone know how?
    And Leroy - the reason is because I have custom hot keys configured and the shift key is a key I want to use for this command. I would like to know how to disable the slow motion effect permanently since I never need it and would certainly like to use my shift key as a modifier for various keyboard commands.

    Can the iphone 4 shoot in slow mo? This video says they shot it in slow motion but I don't think it can?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rV0tzYx8Gk

    This question is too funny...
    Nothing can shoot in slow motion (since things always occur in real time). You can only *play back* a video in slow motion (i.e., reduced frame rate).....

  • Music puts video in slow motion

    I love the fact that I can get online here and seek help. IT has always helped me before-so hopefully I will get lucky now. I am using Imovie 9-- am new user and so far have learned how to use it-compared to the later versions-- a few learning curves but not bad.
    My problem is when I import a sound effect or music clip- the video portion goes into slow motion. Quite simply- when I remove the sound effect-it resumes to regular speed? what am I doing wrong or how to I just add the music and have the video play as is?
    THanks so much!

    The following packages were updated when linux was upgraded:
    enca (1.15-1 -> 1.16-1)
    linux-firmware (20140828.13eb208-1 -> 20141009.0e5f637-1)
    linux (3.16.4-1 -> 3.17.1-1)
    lirc-utils (1:0.9.1.a-5 -> 1:0.9.1.a-7)
    python2-pillow (2.6.0-1 -> 2.6.1-1)
    Since the 24/10 there is an error message in systemd's journal:
    Oct 24 13:41:36 001 kernel: nouveau E[  DEVICE][0000:01:00.0][0x80000080][de023100] failed to create 0x00000002, -13

    There is no output when I start smplayer from the console. In vlc there is no problem. In smplayer the video playback slows down when I maximize the window using maximize button of the window itself. When I resize the window to its maximum manually or use the full screen button of smplayer, then there is no problem. It appears to be a problem with smplayer, because in mplayer there is no problem when I maximize with the window using the maximize button.
    I tried nvidia-304xx yesterday, but that didn't help.

  • Sound is blury and video is slow

    When I try to wacth my movie in iDVD the sound is slow and the video is slow i don't know what to do.
      Mac OS X (10.4.3)

    When I try to wacth my movie in iDVD
    You mean in preview? This might not matter on the final product. Make sure you have plenty of free space on your startup drive, and that filevault is turned off. You might also check your camcorder to see if your movie was made with 16 bit audio (not 12 bit audio).
    Try using "Save as Disk Image" and the mount and play that image with DVD Player in your applications folder. THis is the "final" encoded project, everything done but the actual burn itself.

  • .flv videos load slow.  Can it be sped up?

    I have four videos on a page that two of them load
    imediately. The other two take about five minutes to load. Is there
    a way to make them all load at the same time?
    By the way. The videos all load faster in FireFox. The videos
    load slow IE, which I think is what most people tend to use.

    Also, if anyone can tell me how enable a full screen button.
    Thanks in advance.

    there is no way to control the 'speed' of the DL - however
    you may be able to 'stream' the video - in this way it will only
    pause until properly buffered and then begin playback.
