Videophoelabs, I get this error

Question

I get the following error when I try to connect. Please explain why. I have crossdoman.xml in the upper directory and in the directory as well.

I even changed the server to make sure that the files and database are on the same server. Even then, I get this error ! I'm using the php ported version. Can someone help?

it doesn't like your crossdomain.xml file. perhaps it's not in the right format, or not accessible, or not in the expected location. can you load it manually (with your browser or curl or something) at the expected URL (http://the.domain.for.reg.cgi/crossdomain.xml)?
some browsers, like Safari, have an "activity" window that will tell you all of the resources that it tried to load for a page. it can show you if a resource couldn't be loaded for one reason or another, including the crossdomain.xml file.
