View of the function's code

Hello,
I am trying to see and modify the code of a function but, i can't see it : it's red.
Can you help me?

In fact, the function's code is correct. I just can't see it to modify it. When i try i only get a red rectangle (when i click on "CODE").
This is a known issue with earlier versions of APEX and several browsers/versions/configurations.
What APEX version and browser/version are you using?

The Code Inspector (transaction code SCI) is a tool for checking Repository objects regarding performance, security, syntax, and adherence to name conventions. You can also determine statistical information or search for certain ABAP words (tokens). In the Code Inspector, you can define inspections that, with the help of check variants, examine certain sets of objects. As the result of an inspection, you receive information messages, warning messages, or error messages on different properties of the examined objects.

Function in a view where the function owner is different that the view

we have a function that is in schema b which is used by a view in schema a. I am able to see the data in the view, but when the schema a user selects for the view he gets a view not found message. The view owner has execute on the function, and the function owner has full rights on the tables in the view?

In your scenario, it user "A" wants to select from the view, he should not receive any error like "table or view does not exist".
If you receive this error shilw connected to user "B", you must grant "SELECT ON view_name" privilege to the user "B".
Please use USER_TAB_PRIVS to see if you have SELECT privileges on this view. Please also p[aste exact error message

In our system in blank too.
This is a RFC it means that others systens connect into this FM and it means that the implementation must be in the FM not in the other system.
The note 1316954 - Integration: Collaboration for SAP NetWeaver 7.01 talks about the FM LSO_COL_GET_ROOMS.

TABLE FUNCTION - Using database view - send parameters to the function.

Hi everybody:
1.- I have a function returning a TABLE OF, and that function recieve 2 parameters of type NUMBER.
2.- I'm able to call this function as a table function like this:
SELECT * FROM TABLE(my_function(3,4))
3.- I want to create a database View, To use this query in diferent places of my app.

4.- My problem is, that I want to send the parameters dinamically to the function, and use those parameters to populate the rows, using a database view, the previous code does not compile... and I don't know another way to do this.

Custom Function Module for the New Process Codes

I want to distribute the custom table data . For that i have written the program using MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE. I have created the custom message & idoc types along with their assignments.
I got struck up at the process code. I have to assign the function module for that process code. Can anyone kindly help me in writting the code at that function module ?

My requirement is , i need to transfer the table records. For that i have created the Message/Idoc Types and also created the Partner profile and the Distribution model view .....all alll i have done.
My doubt is , in the we20, at the outbound parameters , i can give the Message/Idoc types that i have created. Ok thats fine
But at the inbound parameters, i have to give the inbound process code. So i have created the Inbound process code. As we know that for every process code a function module is attached, now i have to create the function module which posts the records in receiver side.
so 1. Does the Function module need to be RFC Enabled ?
2. Do we need to create Object type in SWO1 once i

So, for a Vector, all three do the same thing. However, Iterator is part of the Collection Framework (see [url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/collections/index.html]here). Is it possible to have the same Split Code/Design view in CS5 that I had in CS3?

I am not a hard coder. However, like HTML, I could easily edit PHP in CS3 Dreamweaver's Split Code/Design view. It was more designer friendly, intuitive, etc. I could see/edit/move tables, placed graphics, text, etc. CS5 doen't allow me to see my PHP pages this way. Can this be fixed to have the same Split Code/Design view? I would appreciate any assistance you can offer.

To restore the cs3 style horizontal split of code and design views, go to the 'view' drop down menu and untick 'split vertically'.

I only see "PHP" icons in Design View, not the executed code

I have setup a new database installation and tested it - no problem. I can open my webpage in Firefox, and the php code executes properly. When I imported this site into Dreamweaver, I am unable to see the results of any executed PHP code, just "PHP" icons.
Is it possible to view the results of the executed PHP code in Dreamweaver. I'm not talking about complicated PHP code, just a bunch of 'echo' statements really.

In answer to your question, PHP is a server-side language that needs to be parsed (executed) through a web server capable of handling PHP code. In order to see the output of the PHP code, you need to set up a testing server. Instructions on how to do so can be found in this article in the Dreamweaver Developer Centre. Once you have set up a testing server, you can see the output of the PHP code in Design view by activating Live View (in Dreamweaver CS4) or Live Data view in earlier versions of Dreamweaver.

How to maintain the function code added to a custom screen in IW31

Hello gurus,
Does anyone know how can I maintain the function code of the push button I have in my enhancement screen in IW31 (Service Order). 'Coz it says "Requested function 'my fcode' is not available". I tried it in VFBS but don't know the screen sequence or what's the right data to put. Please help me with this. Thanks.

Hi, you need add Your Function Code into the Tables T185x (x like T, F...). Call Transaction SM30 (SM31), put the Table name T185 into Table name and select the Button 'Maintain' or Customizing. The Transaction will navigate you to right position in Customizing. Next, you need to find in the Table's T185x Line with the Program Name SAPLCOIH. Then add your code into the Table's. At next, You have to maintain Your function Code in the PAI module of your Custom screen in the TA IW31.

How to get the function codes

For displaying ALV on a modal dialog screen, I am using "CL_GUI_ALV_GRID" and the method is SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.
I want to exclude the complete tool bar that is appearing on the screen. For that I have an exporting parameter of the above mentioned method, i.e., "IT_TOOLBAR_EXCLUDING"
But I dont know the function codes of the tool bar elements, to fill the internal table with. Couls any one please help me how to find them out.

In the ALV Layout mark NO_TOOLBAR = 'X'
data: e_layout TYPE LVC_S_LAYO.
MOVE 'X' TO e_layout-no_toolbar.
Pass e_layout to IS_LAYOUT of SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY

How can I allow user to customize the functionality of program at runtime? (not using runtime code compilation)

Using .NET Framework 4.0 what features are available that would allow to accomplish something very modular and user customizable, like depicted in this XML. Where I define specific base operations like Get() and Put() methods that operate on strings.
And allow the user to add and remove those or mix and match them in a way that they basically design their own run time functionality that suits them. So they just create their own 'Operation' and fill it with the operations they want to perform on some
incoming data type, in this case it is a string - with substring and insert methods.
EDIT - Assuming end user is non programmer and Dynamic Code compilation is not an option. I have an idea maybe using dynamic keyword, but not sure if it makes what i suggest possible.
