Viewing in Answers descriptive information about a level

Hi, I have a Customer dimension level in BI Admin with its logical level key CUST_NAME.
I also have some further information about each customer, like address and phone number (stored in CUSTOMER Logical Table), how could I link them to the Customer and view these data in Answers?
It's like a kind of descriptive level attribute I'd want to view in Answers associated to the level logical key...
any suggestion would be appreciated very much!

As in the 1st post, I'd want to associate address and phone number to my CUSTOMER level, in which I drill down using CUST_NAME as a logical level key.
The only way to view these information is include their columns in my Answers query, I ask the forum if is there another way to, for example, click on the customer column just drilled-down and view customer address...
In another way: which is the utility of having a level key if it isn't logical level key?
for example in my CUSTOMER level now I have 2 level key: CUST_NAME, which is logical level key and drill-down enabled, and CUST_ADDRESS which is not logical level key (it has the blue icon). Which is the utility (if is there) of having in my level CUST_ADDRESS that is not a logical key?

  • SLD information about kernel level

    Hi all,
does anybody know if and where the SLD captures information about the kernel levels (release, patch level etc.) of the registered SAP systems? I am not able to find those anywhere but I know information is at least
to some degree contained in the SAP Support Packages.
    Thanks in advance!
    kind regards
    elmar

    thanks for the info,
but actually I am well aware on how to browse the SLD for information. I am just unable to find
the information about used kernel levels. So either this information is not present in the SLD
or I am just unable to find it and looking in the wrong places. As a third possibility it might
be some kind of configuration issue...
    thanks, regards elmar

  • Where is the information about "Patch Level" of a particular version

    Hi all,
Where I can see what is the latest "Patch level" of a particular version of tuxedo. For example, what is the latest patch level of tuxedo 9.1, where I can find it out?. This information is public ? We need a oracle contacts?
    thanks in advanced

    MBriz,
The number at the start of last line in $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev is the Tuxedo patch level. (If there is no $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev file, then you are running the General Availability version of Tuxedo.)
This information is also available by executing "tmadmin -v".
A third way to get the information is to look at the first line printed by the BBL in the userlog on a particular day, which will be something like "09-30-2010: Tuxedo Version 10.3.0.0, 32-bit, Patch Level 041". (Other processes' first ULOG message of the day will indicate the Tuxedo Version, but will not include the patch level.)

  • Basic Information about Organizational Level & Org. level value.

    Hello Experts,
I am new to the field of SAP and security. I have the following questions:
    1. What is an organizational level & org. level value? What do they represent? How do they matter in PFCG?
    2. What is a derived role and what is its usage?
I appreciate your help regarding this. If you could point me to some documentation regarding this that will be very helpful.
    Regards, Ben

    Ben,
I am new to the field of SAP and security. I have the following questions:
    1. What is an organizational level & org. level value? What do they represent? How do they matter in PFCG?
if you want to restrict on region vice (best use org level & values (plant, company code, sales org)
In role u will notice them in red color
    2. What is a derived role and what is its usage?
Derived role inherits menu struture and the function from the parent role. Derived role do not differ in their functionalities(identical menu & trans) but have different characterticts with regard to Org levels.
    Eg1; Master role
PFCG -> role name -> create->menu->enter tcodes-.Auth tab->export mode->read old status and merge with new data->Pop for org levels (give a full access)->see to that everything is green->generate it.
    http://e-mory.blogspot.com/2007/12/sap-pfcg-create-role.html
    Eg2: Derived role
pfcg->role name->create->in describtion  tab towards right  enter the master role name->Auth tab->export mode->read old status and merge with new data->you will get a pop for org levels (here you can restrict on plant lvel, purchasing group, company code....)
    ->let say for plant : 1000 ->generated / user comparssion
Once the role is added to the user. User will be albe to see only those plant related details (1000) (i.e he will have access to only plant 1000)
suppose if the user enters 2000,he will get a error message saying no access to 2000
NOTE: Any changes to the role should be done in master role (like adding tcodes)

  • Clicking on "View more information about this update" for 31.5.0 does nothing

I got a pop-up today that Thunderbird 31.5.0 is available. I clicked on "View more information about this update" because that usually takes me to the release notes and I prefer to read about updates and download and install them myself, rather than have the system do it for me. (I do this so I can save previous versions in case I run into a problem with the latest and want to go back.) But when I clicked on "View more information about this update" nothing happened. It didn't switch over to the browser nor start loading the release notes.

About 5-10 minutes after I had clicked on "View more information about this update" a few times (and had manually gone to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/31.5.0/releasenotes/ and downloaded and was in the process of installing the new release), my browser opened up three tabs on that page. I guess it was just a very delayed response.

You can't with the built-in Photos app, but there are apps such as iPhoto which allow you to see the exposure details (aperture, shutter speed, focal length, ISO). PhotoMeta also shows you that info

You can look for authorized Apple resellers here:

If you have any doubts about any reseller, I strongly advise that you not purchase from them. Buy your iPhone directly from Apple and you will then have no worries.

  • I am using the Order Analysis Toolkit and want to get more information about the compensation for "Reference Signal Processing", which is scarce in the manuals, the website and the examples installed with the toolkit.

I am using the Order Analysis Toolkit and want to get more information about the compensation for "Reference Signal Processing", which is scarce in the manuals, the website and the examples installed with the toolkit.
In particular, I am analyzing the example "Even Angle Reference Signal Processing (Digital Tacho, DAQmx).vi", whose documentation I am reproducing in the following:
    <B>DESCRIPTIONS</B>:
This VI demonstrates how to extract even angle reference signals and remove the slow-roll errors. It uses DAQmx VIs to acquire sound or vibration signals and a digital tachometer signal. This VI includes a two-step process: acquire data at low rotational speed to extract even angle reference; use the even angle reference to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation.
    <B>INSTRUCTIONS</B>:
    1. Run the VI.
    2. On the <B>DAQ Configurations</B> tab, specify the <B>sample rate</B>, <B>samples per channel</B>, device and channel configurations, and tachometer channel information.
<B>NOTE</B>: You need to use DSA PXI-447x/PXI-446x and PXI TIO device in a PXI chassis to run this example. The DSA device must be in slot 2 of the PXI chassis.
    3. Switch to <B>Extract Even Angle Reference</B> tab. Specify the <B>number of samples to acquire</B> and the <B># of revs in reference</B> which determines the number of samples in even angle reference. Click <B>Start</B> to take a one-shot data acquisition of the vibration and tachometer signals. After the acquisition, you can see the extracted even angle references in <B>Even Angle Reference</B>.
    4. Switch to the <B>Remove Slow-roll Errors</B> tab. Click <B>Start</B> to acquire data continuously and view the compensate results. Click <B>Stop</B> in this tab to stop the acquisition.
<B>ORDER ANALYSIS VIs USED IN THIS EXAMPLE</B>:
    1. SVL Scale Voltage to EU.vi
    2. OAT Digital Tacho Process.vi
    3. OAT Get Even Angle Reference.vi
    4. OAT Convert to Even Angle Signal.vi
    5. OAT Compensate Even Angle Signal.vi
My question is: How is the synchronization produced at the time of the compensation ? How is it possible to eliminate the errors in a synchronized fashion with respect to the surface of the shaft bearing in mind that I am acquired data at a low rotation speed in order to get the "even angle reference" and then I use it to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation. In this application both operations are made in different acquisitions, therefore the reference of the correction signal is lost. Is it simply compensated without synchronizing ?
Our application is based on FPGA and we need to clarity those aspects before implementing the procedure.

  • Need information on Dimension levels

    Hello everyone specially Igor,
Last time i asked about filling of Dimension and fact. And Mr. Igor explained well to me. Now i want to know that how many level must be in a hierarcy like Mr. Igor gave me an example that in a Customer dimension the cust_id level will be the last level in the hierarchy and cust_type_id level will be that last level in the other hierarchy and one level can have more columns (attributs)other then id e.g cust_name, address, age etc etc., so now i want to ask that if we put all these columns (attributs) in one level of a hierarchy then what will bethe other columns (attributes).
For example i have a Loan module of a bank to make then how many dimensions will be there like i made seperate dimensions for customer personal informaton, customer address, customer contact informtaion, loan details, loan types etc. If i follow the above instructions then i will put Customer personal information, customer address, customer contact infotmaion in one dimension with three seperate hierarchies with this inforamtion and other dimension named loan right. Which means i will have two to thre dimendsions in my whole loam modules.
Please tell me with example about the levels in hierarchy and hierarcies in a dimension.
Here i also want to specify that i dont have anyresource to learn OWB in my whole area.
Thanks you and wating for you repaly.

    Mustafa,
As per your brief description, you would have at least 3 dimensions: Customer, Loan and Time (time is almost always there). The customer personal information, customer address and customer contact infotmaion would not go to separate hierarchies, but to the same hierarchy and possibly to the same level (the lowest one - customer) of the customer hierarchy, because they belong to a single customer. Therefore, you would have a customet key (customer_id) and customer_name, customer_address and cust_contact_info on the first level of the customer hierarchy as attributes. What levels you would have above the customer level in your hierarchy depends on how you want to classify your customer data. For example, if you want to classify customers by geographical area (and don't want to have a separate geography dimension), you could have a geography hierarchy within the customer dimension with levels like cust_city (with cust_city_id key and attributes like city_name, city_population ...), cust_region etc. up to the highest level of the hierarchy that would probably be cust_total. From the reporting tool you will then be able to navigate data from the customer total, down to regions, cities and finally to a single customer. You could have multiple hierarchies in the customer dimension if you decide to classify customers in more that one way. For example, apart from classifying the customers geographically, you might also want to classify the customers by income level. You would then have an income hierarchy which would again start from the customer level (common to the income and geography hierarchies), and then continue up with levels like income_class etc. up to customer total (which would again be common to the two hierarchies).
Similarly (depending on your business requirements) for your loan dimension, you would have one or more hierarchies, each with several levels.
For the time dimension, OWB provides an out of the box dimension (see in the directory <owb_home>\owb\misc\time) with a hierarchy that goes from days to months to quarters to years.

  • Looking for information about AS3 sound classes in "audio" wrong places?

I'm looking for in depth information about ActionScript 3.0 sound classes. No matter where I search I continually encounter the same sort of kindergarten level descriptions, which never teach more than what we can readily glean from Adobe's documentation. Someone must know where there a discussion that really gets to the heart of the matter.
I've read Adobe's LiveDocs on the Sound, SoundChannel, SoundMixer, SoundTransform classes. Indeed, they provided me enough guidance to create my own streaming MP3 player, with volume, pan, my own custom mono mix, http request, a preloading animation, and peak meters ...
Here's an example (in the last statement of the following code) where I understand the end effect, but I fail to comprehend what happens at the compiler level:
    var currentSoundSource:Sound = new Sound();
    currentSoundSource.load(new URLRequest("http://www.mySite.com/myRecording.mp3"));
    var audioChannel_01:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();
    audioChannel_01 = currentSoundSource.play();
Unfortunately the class definitions in LiveDocs are quite terse, and they're seemingly incomplete with respect to:
         •     advice on best practices
         •     a thorough coverage of class to class interactivity
         •     a description of exactly how audio streams/plays into channels
... and in certain cases it appears that Adobe's descriptions are not fully accurate.*
Regarding best practices, at first blush I'm sure everyone ponders over the fact that SoundChannel and SoundMixer have a stop method while the Sound class does not.
One assumes that this surprising design must bear some advantages. If so,  what are they? Where are the analog sound mixer analogies? What would be the disadvantage of a sound class with a stop method ...  particularly when they have their own play method?
Where are the discussion of these concepts? (Even if Adobe hired the wrong guy to write its sound classes, there should be some follow through that thoroughly explains the existing situation.)
    Phrankie
    * Here's an instance where the docs appear to be partially in error. (Is "and play" mistakenly included in the following?)
"The Sound class lets you lets you create a new Sound object [and] load and play an external MP3 file into that object."
... uh, mmmmmm ... we play an MP3 into a sound class object?
Wouldn't it be more accurate to say the following:
A soundChannel can receive the audio data from a sound class object. We can play a sound object into an SoundChannel and manipulate it by altering the SoundChannel's soundTransform property, and we can stop it with the SoundChannel's stop method.

  • Comp viewer becomes flat blue at certain zoom levels

This is a problem I've had with several different versions of After Effects, and on more than one computer and I haven't been able to find any information about it.
Sometimes, especially after RAM previewing, my comp viewer will turn blue and I can't see my work unless I'm at a different zoom level. Sometimes after a while another zoom level will turn blue also.
I've tried purging, which solves the problem in the short term, but it tends to come after a short while. Thoughts? Thank you!

I see you have a Mac running AE CC 2014.  If you're on Yosemite, you need to update AE so it works properly with AE.  First thing to check.
I also see a frame rate of 23.98 in the preview panel.  That's a non-existant frame rate in AE.  It doesn't go by the mythical frame rate of 23.98, it uses the ACTUAL frame rate: 23.976.  You should use it, too.

  • I want complete information about Badi?

i want complete information about Badi?

    Hi
Please go thru the stuff below.
BADI is just an object-oriented version of user-exit. Instead of entering program code into some function module (as in customer-exit), you define some class which has to implement predefined methods and those methods are fired at predefined points just like an old user-exit. Some BADI can have multiple independent implementations which is much better for software deployment as several developers can implement the same BADI independently.
Difference between BADI and User Exits
Business Add-Ins are a new SAP enhancement technique based on ABAP Objects. They can be inserted into the SAP System to accommodate user requirements too specific to be included in the standard delivery. Since specific industries often require special functions, SAP allows you to predefine these points in your software.
As with customer exits two different views are available:
In the definition view, an application programmer predefines exit points in a source that allow specific industry sectors, partners, and customers to attach additional software to standard SAP source code without having to modify the original object.
In the implementation view, the users of Business Add-Ins can customize the logic they need or use a standard logic if one is available.
In contrast to customer exits, Business Add-Ins no longer assume a two-level infrastructure (SAP and customer solutions), but instead allow for a multi-level system landscape (SAP, partner, and customer solutions, as well as country versions, industry solutions, and the like). Definitions and implementations of Business Add-Ins can be created at each level within such a system infrastructure.
SAP guarantees the upward compatibility of all Business Add-In interfaces. Release upgrades do not affect enhancement calls from within the standard software nor do they affect the validity of call interfaces. You do not have to register Business Add-Ins in SSCR.
The Business Add-In enhancement technique differentiates between enhancements that can only be implemented once and enhancements that can be used actively by any number of customers at the same time. In addition, Business Add-Ins can be defined according to filter values. This allows you to control add-in implementation and make it dependent on specific criteria (on a specific Country value, for example).
All ABAP sources, screens, GUIs, and table interfaces created using this enhancement technique are defined in a manner that allows customers to include their own enhancements in the standard. A single Business Add-In contains all of the interfaces necessary to implement a specific task.
The actual program code is enhanced using ABAP Objects. In order to better understand the programming techniques behind the Business Add-In enhancement concept, SAP recommends reading the section on ABAP Objects.

    hi, thanks for your response.
i have checked the ~ Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components as well.
the latest is by trashing the cache i have managed to get past the hanging screen and open a project but I have no plugins and also virtual instruments available. ( orange ! icon)
I can now access the plugin manager and tried a rescan but it won't validate plugins that I have licenses for. I should add I am not running any cracks etc,  it is all purchased and licensed plugins or demo versions.
