Viewobject rows don't exist when creating a lot of rows at once

Hello,
I'm creating a lot of rows at once in a viewobject. Let's say between 100 and 700 rows. After that, I commit the transaction. After the creation of every row I do a postchanges().
When this is all done, a xml file is sent to another server and returns the same file with a bit more information. That file is parsed and every row will be searched in the Viewobject but then they don't exist!
When I try this with a couple of rows, 10 or something, everything goes well. Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong? I don't want a commit after the creation of every row because sending must succeed before saving them.

No off course.
I hoped that more people have problems with inserting a lot of rows at once. The code is quite simple, it looks a bit like this:
for ( about 500 elements )
Row row = voIterator.createRow();
row.setAttribute("...", "....");
voIterator.insertRow(row);
getDBTransaction().postChanges();
getDBTransaction().commit();

  • When creating a lot of pdf's from Word my computer opens every created pdf for viewing? How do I remove this property from use

    Have to create a lot of pdf's in the future, so this property is quite annoying. Is it removable ?

    Using Adobe Acrobat Professional
    Converting a lot of Word.docx to pdf. And each time the system shows me the resulting pdf to view. It is annoying but not critical to my work. Is there a place in the Adobe Acrobat Pro preferences or some other place to remove this.
    I am using the right mouse button to create the pdf.

  • Table does not exist when creating FK Constraint across schemas

    Hi all,
    This will probably boil down to a permissions issue since I'm sketchy on the various levels....
    I'm testing a conversion to Oracle from our legacy system. There are 4 schemas which I've created and each of those schema users have been granted DBA roles.
    After creating a number of tables I wrote the SQL to create the FK Constraints. Most of them went in, but the ones crossing schemas don't. Logged in as SYS, I can do a select from each table, I can even JOIN the two in the SELECT. However when I try creating the constraint it give me a: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    ALTER TABLE USERA.TABLEA ADD FOREIGN KEY (COLA) REFERENCES USERB.TABLEB (COLA) ON DELETE CASCADE
    Again, I have scads of commands that went in correctly so this must be a permissions type thing. I'm the only one logged into the database since it's my own test system. This is 10g BTW.
    If you have any suggestions as what to look into, please explain how to actually perform the checks since I'm still learning how to get around.
    Thanks very much!

    To bulk grant, you can use dynamic SQL; somthing like this:
    <BR><BR>
    SQL> declare
      2    l_grantor VARCHAR2(30) := 'USERA';
      3    l_grantee VARCHAR2(30) := 'USERB';
      4  begin
      5    for table_rec in (select owner,table_name from all_tables where OWNER=l_grantor) loop
      6      execute immediate 'GRANT REFERENCES ON '||table_rec.OWNER||'.'||table_rec.TABLE_NAME||' TO '||l_grantee;
      7    end loop;
      8  end;

  • 'table does not exist' when creating generic datasource

    I went to SBIW->Business Content DataSources->Transfer Business Content DataSources-chose "content delta". it said 'comparison bct <-> cust version ' then it counted thru several objects for a few minutes and finished with no warnings.
    then I selected each datasource under co-om-cca and activated those with no problems.
    problem: now when i try to create came generic datasource using co-om-cca application component i get mssg when saving 'the specified table does not exist'...so now it isn't even letting me create a datasource at all using a standard application component either.
    I have been having many problems with creating datasources and using application components and this is why I did the first paragraph because I don't know what else to try.
    Please help, thanks.

    I have answered my own question.  I wasn't entering the view/table and it was my own complete oversight.

  • DB drivers don't show when creating connection profile

    Vista Home Premium SP1, Eclipse Ganymede 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700
    File -> New -> Other -> Connection Profile -> Next -> Oracle Database Connection -> Next
    In the dialog Specify a Driver and Connection Details, the Drivers combo box is empty.
    In Window -> Preferences -> Data Management -> Connectivity -> Driver Definitions there is already an Oracle Database 10g Driver Default, setup by OEPE. I'm not able to add a new driver, only to make copies of the existing one.
    I have installed:
    - Oracle Database Tools 1.1.0.200903091141
    - Oracle WebLogic Server Tools 1.1.0.200903091141
    Other parts of the plugins seem to work OK, I can connect successfully against WebLogic.
    I was about to prescribe this plugin as a standard but this is a stopper. Any idea?

    Sure, that's an easy one:
    1. Based on Eclipse Ganymede 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700 {Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (85 MB)} <- This is important, since documentation doesn't say what eclipse package is the right one.
    2. Install either Oracle Database Tools or the full Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse from http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/ganymede
    3. Restart Eclipse and try to create a new connection. This doesn't work.
    To successfully create a connection:
    1. Install Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (85 MB)
    2. Install just Oracle Database Tools from http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/ganymede and just Data Tools Platform Enablement from Ganymede Update Site.
    3. Restart Eclipse and Happily create a new DB connection.

    Sorry about that. I'm prescribing this plugin as a standard for a customer, and I hate the idea that some nasty things would push the development team back to other tools. I understand if you cannot give more details in public, but I'd love to know if among the issues are stoppers, so it would be a better idea to rollback to former OEPE version.
    BTW, there are several broken links in the OTN page for OEPE ¿Where can I report them?I just saw these myself and sent a note to the appropriate people. In general, this forum is the best place to report issues with OEPE product and OEPE's OTN site.
    OK, I you don't mind I'll post them in another thread as soon as I have some time, perhaps this weekend. I was enough annoyed by the driver issue and couldn't stand the broken links :-)

  • Customer Details don't export when creating custom reports

    Hi everyone,
    For both orders and event bookings, you can type in some notes into the details field for customers. I went to the custom reports section of BC and chose "New Customer Report", then I chose "Customer and Orders" for the report type. Then under "Fields" I chose "Customer Name with details", but the results didn't show any of the details, ie. any of the text that I typed into the details field within the CRM, it only shows the customer name. I can only assume that "Customer Name with Details" means the details typed into those 2 fields within orders and event bookings because there's nowhere-else where you can type in something into a field called "Details".
    Has anyone noticed this or can anyone tell me if this is a bug or whether there is a workaround?
    Thanks so much.

  • Bug in Tabular form Not Exist Validation, fails when creating multiple rows

    Hi,
    I have a Not Exist validation created for a Tabular form:
       select 1 from my_table where col1 = :col1 and col2 = :col2Execution State: For created and Modified Rows
    which is working fine when a row already there in DB
    and I am trying to enter a new row with same data.
    but when there's no data and I enter two rows with same data, validation does not fire, first row should allowed to enter
    but for second row it should give error that data already exists, which is not happening.
    for example,
    let's say I have a row in DB with: 1, 2, 3
    when I try to add a new row with same data ie. 1, 2, 3 validation fires and showing error, which is fine.
    but let's say there's no data in DB and I am entering two rows with:
    1, 2, 3
    1, 2, 3
    validation is not working this time, it is allowing to enter both the rows.
    do I need to create a manual validation for this or what?

    Hello Tauceef,
    >> Now I got it, I was under impression that it will validate one by one row before insertion,
    >> but it's going to check all the rows first, then do the insertion.
    Just to clear things up, the APEX engine works exactly as you describe, but this is your problem.
    The APEX engine do check\validate all the rows first, one row at a time, and only if all the rows pass validation, the DML processes kick in. The DML processes work on the entire Tabular Form record set (per page view, of course).
    In order for your type of validation to work (the one that queries the database), as you want it, the validation and DML actions have to run together, row by row. This is not how things work, because it’s less efficient/optimal, and may lead to a situation where a certain row can fail validation, but other row(s) already been inserted/updated/deleted into/from the database. This could be a very tricky situation.
    Vikram has suggested to rely on a database constraint, and control the APEX error message. This is possible, although I’m not sure that in this case, the Tabular Form will retain all the user changes, in case of validation error. You should check it.
    Another option, which Marc hinted on, is to manipulate the G_Fxx arrays. In your case, you should loop through the new rows, compute their MD5, and make sure that all the rows have different MD5 values. This is on top of the current validation, which makes sure that the new rows do not already exist in the database.

    Arie.

  • How do I show a count for rows that don't exist?

    Hi, I'm trying to count the number of records grouped by rank(B,C,R),month,and year. Basically, anytime a part fails testing a record is entered which records the failure Rank and occurrence date. A record is only inserted if a part failed for specific rank. So not all 3 ranks will have entries. I'm able to count all ranks by month,year that do exist. But how do I get values of 0 for the ranks that don't exist? I just created a table qa_rank that has just one column rank with 3 records(b,c,r). but its not being used as of now. rank is just a column in qa_occ record.Here is my query.
    select to_char(occdate,'YY') as yr, to_char(occdate,'MM') as mn,
    rank, count(occdate)
    from qa_occ
    where q.occdate between '1-Apr-2005'and '31-Mar-2006'
    and q.supplier = '11107'
    group by to_char(q.occdate,'YY'),to_char(q.occdate,'MM'),q.rank
    order by to_char(q.occdate,'YY'),to_char(q.occdate,'MM')
    which returns this
    YY MM RANK COUNT(OCCDATE)
    05 09 C 2
    05 10 C 2
    05 11 C 1
    05 11 R 1
    06 01 C 3
    06 02 C 1
    06 03 B 1
    06 03 C 2
    I need it to return C,B,R for everymonth. If no records exist then the count for the month,rank should be 0. Any ideas? Thanks.

    4. I think problem maybe is related with row key, but I need end user to change rowkey column value. does it allow changing the value of column as row key? I found this problem maybe only occur for new created row. For those existing rows, even I change the value of row key column, no such problem occurred, how do I handle this situation?
    Appriciate if anybody can help.

    Hi Bangaram,
    Thank you for your reply.
    The error: "Root cause error code is JBO-34014. Error message parameters are {0=oracle.jbo.Key[21 null ], 1=root} "
    I didn't create master records, I just used joint queries for information display of both master and detail. I am trying to create a row in the UI table to create a new detail record and master record already exists.
    The row key for new added row in UI rich table is [21 null ], row key of detail records table composes of 2 columns. 21 is for FixedSlotId and null is for SlotFromN. when I provide a new value for SlotFromN column in UI rich table, problem will occur.

  • "unknown user type" exception when the object don't exist for i/p key.

    Hi
    I'm using Coherence REST service(comes with the Coherence bundle) to validate my cache data.
    When I hit the cache for a valid key, I get data returned back. But for the object that don't exist in the cache I get "Internal Server" error.
    I'm fine with "Internal Server" response show in the browser, but I don't want it to be printed as part of my coherence logs.
    For example, when I hit the REST url for key that don't exist in the cache, I get below exception in coherence logs.
    How can I get rid off it (or) suppress the exception logs.
    Thanks for your time.

    Hi,
    I included coherence-rest-pof-config.xml as part of my pof-config as shown below.
    <pof-config xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config coherence-pof-config.xsd">
    <user-type-list>
    <include>coherence-pof-config.xml</include>
    <include>coherence-rest-pof-config.xml</include>
    <user-type>
    <type-id>1001</type-id>
    I also checked my coherence-rest.jar files for the configuration and the clasess, and all of them exist.
    I started my coherence by passing the classpath as below:

    While starting, I'm getting configuration missing exception as shown below. What am I still missing.

  • Create nested directory on FTP folder if they don't exist while uploading file

    How can I create nested directory on FTP folder if they don't exist. A local file is suppose to exactly uploaded in the same directory structure level in ftp folder. My question is -
     1. Is there any C# opensource/free library that take care of creation of all sub-directories from file-path, if they don't exist on ftp and upload the file in one shot.
     2. How much it will be feasible to make all these uploads along with some database update, archive, quarantine task in asynchronous? All succeeding tasks are sequentially depends in their order.i.e. ftp upload >> database update>> archive
    from local >> quarantine the folder
    This really requires parallel & asynchronous operation for heavy upload/transfer and going to be done by a Windows-Service.

    Hello,
    Your Subject:
    >Sender File adpter --don't raise alerts when file does not exist in folder
    is contradictory to your question.
    >if the file does not exist,it is throwing an alert like "Could not process file '.file..xml: No such file or directory '
    > Is there any way i can avoid raising an alert if file does not exist in the source folder.
    I know you want to say "Don't Raise alerts when file does not exist in folder". Correct me if I am wrong.
    Some times it happens, when we write the right thing but it means something else and this is the reason many experts have replied, "how to raise an alert". So if you remove the word "Sender File adapter" from your subject then it will be easy to understand the exact meaning.

  • Select rows from the table which don't exist in another table

    Hi, in this relatively simple task I have some problem. I need to get the records from the T1 which don't exist in T2, based on some criteria.
    here is my query:
    select a.ordernum, sum(totchg), b.tracknum, rownum from T1 a, T2 b where 1=1 and a.ordernum not in( select ordernum from T2 ) and entrydate between to_date('06/23/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') and to_date('06/30/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') group by a.ordernum, b.tracknum, rownum
    it suppose to return me "TRACKNUM" empty, however it's being returned populated.
    I also tried :
    select a.ordernum, sum(totchg),b.tracknum, rownum from T1 a,
    T2 b where[b] not exists( select '1' from T2 where a.ordernum = b.ordernum )
    and entrydate between to_date('06/23/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') and to_date('06/30/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') group by a.ordernum, b.tracknum, rownum
    the results are the same.
    please advise.

    You are trying to get a returned value field from T2 when you just said that the
    records returned from Only T1 are not found in T2, therefore no T2 record to return.
    You only get T1 records where the Ordernum key is not found in T2.
    select ordernum, tracknum, rownum, sum(totchg)
    from T1
    where ordernum not in( select ordernum from T2 )
    and (entrydate between to_date('06/23/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') and
    to_date('06/30/2007','MM/dd/yyyy') )
    group by ordernum, tracknum, rownum

  • Is there any way to link the individual rows of data to the corresponding bars in a bar chart so that each legend title appears simultaneously with its corresponding bar when creating a build? I can do it in a pie chart but can't in a bar chart.

    You used the data.  Verizon can not see what it was sued for.  However your phone can see whats apps used the data.  go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle.  line the dates up with your cycle.  then there will be a bar graph below that   extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.  after those are extended below that will be a list of apps,  there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse
